Ah, it was a nice Winter morning. Yes it was indeed. Twilight Sparkle and Spike cuddled up as usual. Poor four mares and one filly, they should be able to cuddle that dragon also... anyways, today would be the day that Ponyville completely cleans up to prepare for springtime since... apparently they just like shoveling snow... and breaking ice... whatever. At least the planting trees and waking up the animals is logical. Ranting aside, Twilight woke up from her slumber first. She was excited to be able to take part for the first time in the Winter Wrap Up. Since Ponyville was a town that was founded by Earth Ponies, they usually sped up the transition to spring without magic, which Twilight obviously didn't.

"Good Morning my Spikey-Wikey~" Twilight chirped, using Rarity's name for Spike.

Spike opened his eyes and was face to face with one of his marefriends.

"Oh, good morning Twilight, what's gotten you so excited?"

"It's Winter Wrap Up!" Twilight smiled.

"Ah, can I use my fire breath to clean up the snow?"

"Nope, Ponyville is an Earth Pony founded place, so dragon flame, aka magic, is not allowed."

"Oh, so how are we going to help then?"

"I have no idea!" Twilight was still smiling.

Spike just shrugged and got out of bed. Twilight and Spike were too lazy to bundle up for the cold weather outside.

Theme.

Twilight trotted into town square with Spike on her back. The mayor of course was organizing the whole thing.

"I wonder which group we should help?" Twilight wondered to herself.

Winter Wrap Up Song.

"Everypony belongs to a team. What should we do? Where do we go?" Twilight wondered again.

She heard Rainbow Dash's voice.

"Alright team, you are cleared for takeoff!"

"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight figured that would be a good place to start.

"Oh hey Twilight what's up?"

"What are you doing to help wrap up winter Rainbow?"

"Sending one of my flight crews to help retrieve the birds that flew south for the winter."

"Oh can we help? How about clearing the clouds?"

Rainbow knew of the no unicorn magic deal and spoke while pointing at her own wings.

"Um..."

"Oh right... no wings..." Twilight pouted.

"Sorry Twilight."

Rainbow then went to join the rest of her crew, of course she was sad that Spike didn't have wings either to help them. Twilight and Spike were a little disappointed that they couldn't help with that, but there were still many other places to help.

"*sigh* Spike let's go find somepony else to help."

They then came upon Rarity who was at a table with a lot of straw/hay.

"Rarity, please tell me that there's something, anything that we can help you with."

"Well my dear companion and drakefriend, you can help me create Ponyville's finest birds' nests," Rarity spoke while LIFTING WITH HER HOOVES a basket of materials onto the desk unlike some contemporary Rarity of the Prime Universe that used magic to do such a menial task.

"Birds' nests?" Twilight inquired.

"Why yes of course Twilight, when the weather team gets the birds back from the south, they need a place to rest don't they? They'd be tuckered out from all that flying."

"So what do we do to make one like yours?" Spike spoke while pointing at one of Rarity's finished hoof-made nests.

"Okay you two, watch. Now... uh, take some of that straw and hay over there, and a little bit of branch. Now, weave them through there, yes. Uh, take some ribbon, yes, oh uh, n... not there, oooh, yes, uh, tuck it in over there, uh but be careful not to... I don't know I guess that would do... oh dear," Rarity instructed then commented on Twilight's nest.

Spike's next came out even better than Rarity's since well... the dragon had claws. As for Twilight, her hoof-craft might have been considered... the opposite of ambidextrous.

"There! It just looks like..." Twilight started then realized how ugly the nest she made was, " yours... Oh my..."

Unlike the rude Spike of the Prime Universe who wanted that thing condemned, he just withheld any comments he had in his head since one does not just be rude to one of their marefriends in front of another marefriend.

"It's... fine... It's just a little rough around the edges. Let me lend you a hoof. Let's just untie this ribbon, and let me take out these sticks here, we'll shave this, *mumbling*" Rarity rambled on.

"I think we lost her," Spike commented.

"Yeah... lets move on Spike and look for something else to try help with," Twilight trotted with her head down.

They came to an ice lake where Pinkie Pie was skating. She was just having a good time peacefully cutting up the ice on her own. She then greeted Twilight and Spike.

"Helloooooo Twilight and Spike~ Wheeeeeee~!" Pinkie greeted.

"Wow, Pinkie Pie, you are quite the adept skater, probably one of the best I've ever seen," Twilight praised.

"Thanks Twilight~ I've been doing this ever since I was a itty-bitty little-wittle Twinkie Pinkie," Pinkie blushed a little bit at what she just accidentally said.

"Just comes natural. Which is probably why they designated me the lake scorer. I cut lines in the lakes with my skates. That way, when the rest of the weather team comes here to break the ice, it'll be easy as pie," Pinkie winked at the both of them as she finished another line... of speech and ice.

"How clever. When the thick ice begins to melt, it'll break along the lines. Well, you sure have a lot of work ahead of you, there's quite a few lakes in Ponyville," Twilight praised and commented.

"Ha, tell me about it. Hey, Twilight, Spike, wanna help me out?" Pinkie asked hopefully.

Maybe I can spend some time with Spike too~ He has been quite caring of me so far~ And Twilight is just funny~

Pinkie of course smiled at that thought.

"Would we?" Twilight asked excitedly.

Let's give skating a try shall we Twilight? Maybe even have some romantic moment with Spike as well~

"Come on, put on those skates over there! I bet you'll be naturals too!" Pinkie chirped, happy to not be doing this job entirely alone for once.

Unfortunately... Twilight and Spike never ever skated before. Soooo one can just know what happened. Yes, Twilight ended up sending the three of them careening into a pile of snow. Pinkie Pie still kept her smile on though since she knew she helped Twilight and Spike have a good time. To that of course Twilight smiled, although inside she was a bit down that she was a terrible skater. Spike then asked something that would change the direction this episode is going.

"Twilight? May I spend some time with Pinkie Pie? I mean she is the newest one in the Harem, and also every single day I practically cuddle with you every night, just thought it'd be fair if she had some time as well."

"Ya know what Spike? That's fair enough to me, go ahead, also Pinkie Pie, take good care of him, I'm just surprised this many of you like the dragon, but hey, you all took care of him, so you earned it~" Twilight winked at Pinkie Pie, then thought of something, "back on the topic of helping, do you have any suggestions for anyone else who might need help?"

Pinkie Pie thought for a bit then remembered.

"Ooo! I know, I heard Fluttershy could use some help with the critters."

"Thank you very much Pinkie, and again take care of Spike, see ya~" Twilight farewell'ed.

"See ya Twi, and thank you for sharing Spike~" Pinkie chirped.

"I'll be back with you a little bit later alright Twilight?" Spike spoke.

"Alright Spike," Twilight responded while trotting away to go help Fluttershy.

"Alright Spike! What'cha wanna do?" Pinkie happily blared.

*big squee* So nervouscited! I wonder what we can do!

Spike was thinking about the horrible ice skating that he and Twilight did.

"Hmmm, Pinkie *squee* can you teach me how to actually ice skate?" Spike requested.

*GASP* Yes yes yes! *squee*

"Oh yes! Spikey, I'll teach you how to!" Pinkie was quite happy with that choice. Seriously what is more romantic than a good ice skating? Don't answer that. Seriously, one must not be thinking such thoughts. Bad reader. Bad.

So of course Pinkie Pie took Spike's claw in her hoof and trotted him out onto the ice slowly.

"You see Spike~ Skating is a lot like trot... errrr... walking for you!" Pinkie happily instructed.

As the author is being very very lazy, the author will be skipping all that explanation since Pinkie Pie tends to be very long with explanations. So yes, esteemed reader, Spike learned how to skate smoothly, in fact he became a natural since he was bipedal and only had to account for two hooves... errr... feet.

Cute mode is now initiated.

Now that Spike was an adept skater like Pinkie Pie, he knew how to make that pink pony squee. Luckily he had already had the honor of dancing with Twilight Sparkle, so he knew what he was doing.

"Madame Pinkie Pie, may I have this dance?" Spike proposed while holding a claw out.

"Why Sir Spike, I would be honored," Pinkie put her hoof in his claw.

They then proceeded to do an ice skating routine, essentially like ballroom dancing but... on ice... well... duh... it's up to the esteemed reader's imagination of course. Pinkie Pie was just happy to be treated nicely by the one she loved. It was great not always having to need to be all about parties all the time. This is where she expresses her appreciation.

"Spike, I really did appreciate having your company today while I finished up this pond, it was great knowing that you will treat me and the rest of the girls right," Pinkie calmly spoke again un-Pinkie as possible, "I know I am a lucky mare when Twilight allowed me to join the rest of you."

Pinkie Pie was holding Spike close in a hug.

"No problem Pinkie Pie, it's nice to see this side of you, it's calming and different. I know you have a reputation to keep up, but it's just us now, and you have your off-time," Spike replied to that.

Every reader knows what happened next. Spike leaned in and so did Pinkie. Their lips met. It was a passionate yet not make out kind of kiss. Pinkie Pie had never been so happy in her life.

So this is what a kiss feels like huh? I approve! *squee*

They pulled apart with contented smiles on their faces. They sat in the snow and even rolled around in the snow together. They had snowball fights as well. Afterwards they had basic chats again, getting updates on Sugarcube Corner's business as well as how Twilight likes Ponyville so far. It was a good day…

Spike and Pinkie Pie also still were productive while playing around on their "date". In fact, they managed to prepare all of the ice lakes in Ponyville for the returning Pegasi which was something Pinkie Pie was even more grateful for since that meant yet even more time to have with Spike as well as helping out the other groups and attempt to break the never ending consistent late spring arrivals.

So, what was Twilight doing while having some alone time? Well, she was busy finding her place in the Winter Wrap Up. As Pinkie Pie suggested to her, she went and found Fluttershy near a whole bunch of animal burrows.

"Oh, hello Twilight, nice to see you around here during Winter Wrap Up," Fluttershy greeted calmly.

"Yes it is Fluttershy, so what are you doing to help the Wrap Up?" Twilight asked, a lot less eagerly from when she originally started.

"Well, I'm in charge of helping waking up all of the animals from their hibernation since unfortunately we don't really have groundhogs here," Fluttershy explained.

"Ooo! Can I try?" Twilight was quite fascinated.

"Of course, you are looking for a job to do after all."

Twilight then retrieved a bell and rang it with her mouth near one of the burrows. Inside it was a snake.

"Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?" Twilight questioned.

The snake then hissed at her, which caused her to scream and run off like a filly. This of course caused almost all the animals to wake up. At least Twilight did something... sorta right? It was then that Pinkie Pie and Spike as mentioned earlier who have just finished preparing the ice lakes trotted/walked up to Fluttershy noticing the screaming unicorn and the all woken animals.

"Oh my Twilight, you did a REALLY good job at waking up the animals," Fluttershy commented, not being sarcastic, she really meant that.

"I'll say," Spike... eh... said.

"Oh, hello there Spike, hello Pinkie Pie, you two seem pretty chirpy today," Fluttershy greeted with a non-teeth showing smile.

"Of course we are silly! We finished scoring up all the ice!" Pinkie Pie grinned, "and I may or may not have had a date with Spike while doing so, lots of fun and work getting done is like the best thing ever you know~"

"Ahhhh! Snakes! Snakes! Nope! Nope! Nope!" Twilight was screaming.

Twilight then crashed into a tree which was nearby where Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Spike were chatting.

"Ugh... oh hi Pinkie Pie, hi Spike," Twilight slurred out.

"Well at least you did wake up around half of the animals in one go Twilight," Fluttershy and the rest of them there giggled.

"I guess you are right..." Twilight pouted.

"Hey cheer up, I think you'll find something you can do that doesn't... cause that," Spike spoke.

"*sigh* I hope so Spike, since so far everything has been either not my shtick or appealing to me, sorry Fluttershy," Twilight apologized.

"No worries Twilight," Fluttershy spoke.

Pinkie Pie decided to join Twilight and Spike since she had nothing else to do. It was quite nice to have the pink party pony for company and not in her entirely hyper state. Twilight would actually say that it was the peaceful pink party pony side of Pinkie Pie. It was surprising how caring for Spike and the rest of the Harem she was. Considering the traits of being a party pony in a way translate pretty well to taking care of ponies. All was well as they trotted/walked along Ponyville's pathways until they heard the arguing of Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Applejack who were trying to get their three activities in order so that no interference would happen. It got to the point that nothing was getting done. The mayor of course being the hardworking and humble mare she is, (Maximum Sarcasm detected.) was commenting on how Winter Wrap Up would be coming out late this year. It was at this point that Pinkie Pie and Spike knew about how organized Twilight was and suggested the most genius idea that was ever genius'ed.

"Hey Twilight, how about you go organize all of that chaos over there?" Pinkie spoke in her usual cute way.

"Yeah Twilight! This is one of those appropriate times, unlike the sleepover... that a checklist would be quite helpful!" Spike explained.

Twilight realized that they were right, although all of the groups had their own leaders, there was nothing to pull the whole of the groups together. She put her game face on and the three of them galloped/ran back to the Golden Oaks Library to grab some quills, ink and paper. They needed to get the attention of the bickering ponies. How did they do this? Well, esteemed reader, Pinkie Pie let loose like she did in Season 1 Episode 7. The sound of a cannon can be heard about... seven times. Definitely by the seventh cannon blast from... Pinkie's rear did all the ponies turn to face the trio.

"Alright ponies! I think it's about time we stop arguing and get this thing organized shall we?" Twilight exclaimed.

All of the ponies then managed to get winter completely wrapped up in the fastest time ever compared to all the years prior. Twilight's leadership and organizational skills have increased efficiency by tenfold... number... stuff. Anyways, Twilight did so good of a job that they appointed said unicorn as the future organizer of future Winter Wrap Ups. All of Twilight's friends cheered for her of course.

Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I learned that everypony has their own set of skills that all fit together to get a job done. I learned this lesson while trying to find my place in the annual Winter Wrap Up that Ponyville does. I found my spot at the organizer of the event when all of the groups were arguing about what order to do things in. It was a wonderful experience that taught me this lesson and was fun to participate in.

Twilight smiled contentedly as she finished that letter and had Spike send it. The two of them then looked at a flower starting to bloom for the spring, enjoying the now warming weather.

End Theme with Credits.

Pinkie Pie had decided to stay the night with the two of them since... Pinkie Pie. She decided to do the cooking for Twilight and Spike since again, she was going to be a good marefriend to Spike and a good companion to Twilight. Turns out the pink pony knows a lot more than just sweets. She even impressed Spike who normally does all the cooking for Twilight. Of course, the purple unicorn was quite happy to have something different, not that Spike's cooking was bad, she just wanted something new from the usual routine. That was the thing about Pinkie Pie, she is spontaneous, yet at the same time a mare all the same. It was something that all of the Mane 6 and Spike came to realize over their time spent with her. Anyways, Pinkie Pie finished her cooking a dish that the reader has imagined.

"This is something I never even thought of cooking you know Pinkie, it's quite delicious," Spike appreciated.

"Oh, this is quite good Pinkie Pie, where did you get the recipe?" Twilight commented as she chowed down.

Pinkie Pie of course was amused at Twilight's eating habit of chowing down on food like crazy. She never thought a pony who had her head stuck in books would be almost as messy as her when eating. Pinkie Pie herself of course was eating with quite the mannerisms surprisingly compared to what she did in Season 1 Episode 10. Of course the three of them conversed, the newest addition to the Harem talking with the alpha mare. It was indeed another heartwarming moment.

Ah yes, time for this author to end with a nice cuddle. After all of them bathed and cleaned up (Spike of course NOT using up all the hot water in Ponyville), Pinkie of course was allowed on Twilight's bed for the first time. Of course since it held four mares, one filly, and one drake at one point, it would obviously fit the three of them. As before with Twilight and Fluttershy in Season 1 Episode 7, the two polar opposite mares surrounded Spike with their bodies. The drake could smell Pinkie Pie's unsurprisingly pastry smell while Twilight was just a natural lavender smell as most Fan-Fiction writers would put it. He was just surprised at how much attention he was getting from all these mares, but nevertheless was happy to have all of these mares in his life. Interestingly enough he will not be prepared for what the future episodes have in store for him...
