"Gilda?" Spike asked

"What!?" she snapped

"Look, I know is important, but you need to go with them."

"Are you fucking kidding-!"

"My crew and I will solve this! We'll find the name of that ship and the person who murdered that man. When this is done, will that be fine with you, detective?"

"...I guess it is." she replied "and you'll leave?"

"...Fine!" Gilda replied

"Before we go," Spike continued "do you have any leads?"

"That human... Pint head? Yeah, him, he's tied to this and those Shadowbolts are after him. I don't care what you do to him, just get him talking and find a way into the Shadowbolts base."

"But until then," the detective spoke, walking to Gilda and placing cuffs around her wrists "you're staying with me."

"Yeah, and if they're not done in the morning, I'm busting out!" the two walked out. Spike & the others followed.

Walking out of the crime scene, they saw Pint head outside looking through some files. He turned around, seeing the group walking to him.

"What do you want, Lizard boy?" he mockingly asked "Did you lose your tail?"

"You said you didn't know anything about this!" Spike growled "You've got one chance to change that statement!"

"What do you mean-" Spike pulled out his gun, cocked it, and held it at Pint head. "Oh shit! Okay, I'm sorry! I'll cooperate!"

"Good. Call me 'lizard boy' again, I'm going to shoot you in the balls!"

"Okay! Okay, no need to be so violent."

"Tell me everything." He took a deep breath.

"I smuggled in a chemical here that boosts physical strengths & slows time to the user. But it's very toxic. I may have... forgotten to mention that to the Shadowbolts, and they may want to kill me."

"Tell me about this chemical."

"It's call Minagen X4, and it's very illegal. Anyone who is exposed to it become much stronger; the higher your exposure, the stronger you get, but get too much, and you die. That's the part the Shadowbolts disagreed on."

"Well you've been in the Shadoiwbolts base. What do you remember?"

"It's a series of docking bays where the Shadowbolts keep their private ships; they're well-armed and have mechs. Everyone is a killer; they have to kill one person to join the gang."

"By the sound of all of this, you're a swindler and your actions have finally came to bite you in the ass."

"...True, but I haven't survived this long as a merchant without being able to tell when there's a deal in the making. You want something else?"

"Yeah, the Shadowbolts smuggled something off world. I need the name of that ship."

"I don't know much of their smuggling operations; they must keep the records in their base. I do have a pass card they issued me to bring my good in. Well... I returned that one... but I have a copy." Spike cracked his knuckles. "Uh... you better take it!" He handed Spike his pass card. Spike took the card. They turned around, seeing an Elevator opening for them.

"Let's do this."    

The three entered what was this group of Shadowbolt's base, to which they were attacked immediately. All around the place, there were barrels carrying the Minagen X4, and due to the Shadowbolt's aiming, many of them cracked and the three breathed in the stuff. With Spike, not only did he feel a sense of strength across his body, but his vision made him a lot more weary of his surroundings with the feeling that everything was going much slower around him. Zecora nearly felt the same thing, but her eyes went more precise, almost as if she became a robot & was more precise with her targeting. As for Sunset Shimmer, she felt her aura was a lot more powerful and was able to push everyone & everything out of the way.

"This is some strong stuff!" Sunset commented.

"Yeah," Spike agreed "but we can't stay around it or else we'll die."

"Let's not try to get addicted," Zecora added "or else we'll be subtracted."

As they walked into another room, they heard someone speaking to their self. Curious, they walked into another room to see nothing but a desk in there. At least, it looked like nothing was there, until some Angel Wings peeked from behind.

"Get out!" Spike ordered.

"Wait!" a female Shadowbolt yelled, standing up "Stop! I didn't fire my weapon once! I pretended to because the other Shadowbolts were watching, but I didn't shoot!"

"Everyone kills to get their uniform," Sunset replied "what makes you different?"

"I'm not one of them! I'm new! I thought being Aronle the mercenary would be cool, but I didn't know what they were really like!" She pulled a pistol out. Spike pulled out his pistol

"You choose your side and you lost." He replied

"Screw you, bitch!!!" She fired but it jammed. Everyone else fired at her, killing her easily.

"No, screw you." Out from her corpse was a tablet. Spike picked it up and opened it's files. While there was no name to the ship, there was evidence that she was the killer herself.

"Called it." Sunset commented

After another attack from the Mercs, taking down one of their gunships in the progress, the three entered another room where a midget-mage stood. He turned to the group, but stumbled at it.

"I am a god of the Mages!" he proclaimed "I think things, and they happen! Fear me, lesser creatures, for I am Aura made flesh!"

"...You need help." Spike commented.

"You need help! You stand before the most mightiest Mage ever! Yes, the Shadowbolts injecting so many drugs into me is terrifying, but then I began to smell the greatness!" Spike face palmed himself "They may laugh when I fall over, but they don't know what I know in my head; that I am amazingly powerful! Fear me!"

"...Yeah, we need to keep going. You better stay here and... I don't know... take a nap?"

"And I thought Trixie was delusional about her power." Sunset commented

"She was with the Immortal's Amulet," Zecora replied "but she got what she'll get."

"Bah!" the mage continued "I will wreak a just revenge upon my people! But first, the leader of these mercenaries is in the next room. I shall toss Aesaw like a rag doll!"

"Yep," Sunset continued "I'm going with more delusional."

"I will tear her apart! I'm unstoppable!!!"
