Hold your applause, please. I know I am great. I know you long to worship me. But, please, on to business.

For your entertainment, I have used my amazing abilities to bring to you the greatest spectacle Equestria has ever seen. Sixteen poor souls, recruited from all corners of the nation, not to mention from all points in history, have been brought together to duke it out in my Chaos Arena. And they are an interesting bunch, I'll say. One by one, they will be eliminated until the most cunning, most powerful, most desperate--or perhaps simply the luckiest--stands alone, triumphant. True, it will be upon a mound of corpses, after trials and tribulations that will test their ruthlessness and sanity... But that's just plain good fun, don't you think?

I do this, after all, for you. The common ponies. And you will watch. And you will enjoy. And, in fact, I feel... You will ultimately decide who the true victor is. So watch, pick your favorite, and cheer them on as hard as you can. It could be the difference between their victory and their ultimate demise.

And when the last one stands, to that I promise this. With my great power I will not only send them home, but they shall be granted the one thing they desire above all others. No matter what that may be.
