The sand ship, which Twilight and Teal since learned was also an all-terrain land ship, made its way through the ground on it's way to Baltimare, the hometown of the teal hunter onboard. The lavender mare joining her wasn't too pleased with Teal's request to head to the water-based city before speaking with Princess Celestia and Rainbow Dash. However, she understood the urgency of the lesbian mare's plight, so she ultimately decided otherwise.

"Thanks for playing along back there, Twi" Teal suddenly spoke as the two stood on the steering deck with Twilight at the helm "I know that you wanted to get somewhere else, but this is really important for me."

"No, no, I understand..." the Unicorn nodded "Besides; I might find somepony there I'm looking for. And heck, I might even discover a bit more about the Frenzy Virus."

"Hey, you never told me about that Frenzy Virus thing" the moss green maned mare remembered "So... What is it?"

"Well, I owe you after earlier, so why the hay not..." Twilight took a deep breath in and sighed "The Frenzy Virus is a dangerous disease that is slowly spreading due to the perils of a dragon known as the Gore Magala, a recently discovered and highly dangerous monster. From what I can tell, the virus infects only monsters and makes them more powerful, while at the same time making them mindless slaves."

"That sounds bad..." Teal said with a grin, earning an eye roll from her partner "But I'm sure I can take them on! I mean, I've taken on a Rathalos AND a Rathian during heat! I don't think it gets any worse than that."

"Well, you haven't seen the Gore Magala, or any of the infected monsters up close..." the lavender hunter remembered the day Ponyville was destroyed "Anyway, we should be arriving Baltimare soon. Look, I can see it over the horizon!"

What the newer hunter said was true. Looking out into the open, Teal saw her home before her original one was destroyed. She let a small smile loose and watched as the city which held so many memories close to her heart slowly get closer and closer.

"Yeah... what a sight..." happily sighed the teal Pegasus "Now, how about another kiss, baby?"

"I said everypony gets one!" huffed Twilight.

Not wanting to attract extreme attention to the sand ship, Twilight steered it in to Horseshoe Bay where the ship looked more like an actual ship and not an ancient weapon. It eventually docked with one of the many piers of the bay that led straight to Baltimare, the city of water. As the two hunters tied their ship on their own pier, they noticed little cat-like creatures called Felynes roam the dock and carry things back and forth to the centre of the city, which happened to be the Gathering Hall for when hunters wanted to go on team hunts.

"Aww..." smiled Teal "I always loved these little guys since I was a foal, and I still do today."

"They are kinda cute..." Twilight smiled along with her partner "I've never seen one in real life before though. Only in books."

"You- What?!" the teal mare turned her head back to the Unicorn at shouted "Baby, you need to get out more often."

"Well, I'm here now, aren't I?" chuckled Twilight "Anyway, we should have a look around town. Maybe they have some stuff we can use to help find my friends and defeat the Lagiacrus."

"A-Actually, you go on ahead..." the Pegasus nervously spoke "I'll just stay here, okay?"

"Hmm? Oh, um, okay then..." the purple maned mare was slightly confused "I'll just go on ahead and get some items then..."

"Thanks, baby" the teal mare nodded as she leaned on the hull of the docked ship "We're going to need some shock traps, barrel bombs and whetstones. Maybe some herbs as well, but we'll see what we got."

"Right" nodded Twilight before turning around and heading off the pier, only to turn back and talk with her partner again "Um, I don't have any bits on me right now..."

"Here you go, babe" she smiled and took a handsome amount of bits off of her armour with her wings.

Twilight traveled through the crowed bazaar of fruits, healing items, and weaponry until she finally found a place where she could purchase some traps to capture the Lagiacrus and eventually kill it. After doing so, she turned and accidentally bumped into someone, knocking all of their items onto the ground with a soft and feminine grunt, signalling that the pony the lavender Unicorn bumped into was female.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry!" Twilight quickly apologized to the mare a she bent down to help pick up her stuff "Here, let me help you..."

"Oh, thank you, that's very kind of you..." spoke a familiar voice which stopped the Unicorn and made her look up to see the mare she bumped into. She was a Pegasus with a cream yellow coat, a long pink mane and butterflies for a cutiemark. She has a nervous expression on her face and a leather saddlebag on her back.

"Fluttershy?" the lavender mare asked "Is that you?"

"O-Oh, sorry but... I think you might have me confused with somepony else..." the cream mare spoke softly "I'm Willow Seed, but you can just call me Willow... If that's okay with you of course..."

Twilight knew that this pony was Fluttershy. There was no way she could have been anyone else. So then why did she lie to the Unicorn and act like she's never met her before? Or was her memory erased somehow? Twilight shuddered at the thought that one of her greatest friends could have amnesia.

"Fluttershy, it's me! Twilight!" she continued to try and spark her friend's memory "You know; your friend? The one that never wanted to be a hunter? The one that you saw get eaten alive by Remobra that one time? Please, you have to remember!"

"I'm really sorry miss... Twilight?" the amnesic Fluttershy apologized "I really must be going now. It was a pleasure talking with you... I think..." she then ran off as fast as possible, forgetting all of her stuff on the ground. Twilight lowered her head a bit in disappointment.

"I'm guessing that didn't work out too well?" said an unfamiliar voice from behind the lavender Unicorn. She turned around to see a tan Unicorn stallion with a green mane styled to look like leaves and a white lab coat over his back. He wore circular glasses over his muzzle.

"Who are you?" Twilight asked the new stallion.

"My name is Dr. Game Taco, but you can call me Taco for short" he slowly approached the mare "I'm the one that found that mare and temporarily named her. I'm guessing you know her personally?

"Y-Yeah..." the lavender Unicorn nodded.

"I think you might want to come with me back to my home" suggested the tan doctor "Please, I insist. I have tea on the kettle."

Game Taco's home was a regular house with a kitchen, washroom, bedroom and dining room. He motioned for Twilight to step on a certain area of his dining room, which she did. The room's floor with both ponies on it began to descend into the lower floors, much to Twilight's surprise. The floor finally reached the bottom of the elevator. Before them was a metal door sealed by five huge rods. Taco wasted no time it approaching the door and, with his magic, took out a key card from his coat pocket and swiped a lock at the side of the door. All five of the locks opened, allowing access to the two ponies.

Inside the room amazed Twilight to no end. The area was littered and filled with different cages with different species of monsters in them, including, but not limited to, a Great Jaggi, an Azuros, a Lagombi and a Gypceros. They were all causing some sort of commotion, ranging from banging on the bars and roaring and looked as if they could break out at any time. However, they made no noise whatsoever.

"The cages are soundproofed and magically sealed" the doctor stallion explained "Nothing gets out unless I say so. Now..." he went over to a table with a kettle and two cups on it and poured some water into both of them "Tea?"

"You know, when you said we were going to have tea, I never thought it would be down in a secret lab like this" joked Twilight "Now, why did you bring me here?"

"Straight to the point, eh?" Taco chuckled a bit "I like you. Right, on with my request. I think I may have discovered a way to bring back Willow's-"

"Fluttershy's" the lavender mare corrected him.

"Of course, my mistake..." he coughed and continued with his explaination "...Fluttershy's memory. I have been working with an assortment of scales and hides, and I have come to the conclusion that all I need to fix her memory is a rare flower found only in the swamp south of Baltimare. I'd get it myself, but the swamp is filled with dangerous monsters. That's where you come in." he sipped some of his tea "I want you to go into the swamplands and retrieve this flower. You'll be paid a hefty amount, of course."

"Do you know what kinds of monsters live in the swamp?" asked Twilight

"I know of many, such as Kecha Wacha, Congalala, and of course, the king of the swamp itself, the Nargacuga" the tan stallion explained "All will be tricky monsters should you ever encounter them, but I have full faith in you!"

"I'll accept, but I'll only do it for Fluttershy" the purple maned hunter nodded.

"Thank you" Taco nodded "And if you see Fluttershy, please give her this and she'll forgive you." he lifted a letter from the table the kettle and cups were on and gave it to Twilight.

"What is it?"

"You'll find out in due time..."

All of a sudden, the ground below and above Twilight and Taco shook violently. Quickly, the tan doctor ran over to a lever and flicked it to the right, which slowly ceased the shaking on the inside of the laboratory. After the ground stopped rocking, Taco pulled the lever back to the left and sighed.

"That's the fourth earthquake this week..." he shook his head "That Lagiacrus has to go. Good god, when is that traitor going to defeat it so we can get on with our lives?"

"I'm sorry?" Twilight questioned the doctor "Who's this traitor you're talking about?"

Twilight was absolutely furious. She stormed through the marketplace of Baltimare right to the pier where the Dragonship floated softly on the gentle waves. She spotted exactly who she wanted to see conversing with a familiar pink maned Pegasus blushing like crazy.

"So, you come here often, baby?" Teal tried her best to win her heart "I'm a seasoned hunter, if you couldn't tell."

"Um... I... um..." was all Fluttershy could say as she stuttered to get her words out.

"Teal, you and I have to have a little talk!" the lavender Unicorn said in a cross tone of voice before looking at Fluttershy "Alone, if you will?"

"O-Of course..." the cream yellow Pegasus backed off a bit.

"Thank you, Fl- Willow..." she quickly corrected herself before turning back to Teal "Now... Teal, may you please explain to me why you're a WANTED CRIMINAL?!"

"WAAAA!!!" the teal mare jumped back from her partner's sudden change of voice "T-Twilight, I can explain!"

"Nope, I don't want to hear it..."

"But I-"

"Nope!"

"Twi, you-"

"Nuh uh!"

"Will you just-"

"Not listening!"

"Knock it off, you two!" Fluttershy suddenly shouted in her still sweet voice, surprising the teal hunter and greatly surprising the lavender one, grabbing both of their attentions "You two should just forget about your problems and work together, okay? Now make up!"

Twilight looked at Teal, and Teal did the same to Twilight. They both let out a sigh before nodding and shaking hooves, making up with each other.

"I'm sorry about not telling you sooner, baby" Teal lowered her head in shame slightly "I just didn't want our friendship to go sour when you found out I was a wanted mare."

"And I'm sorry for thinking of you any differently..." Twilight apologized "Now, if you don't mind, can you tell me how you became a wanted criminal?"

"Wanted pony" the teal mare corrected her "But sure, I can tell you baby. A while ago, I was a well-respected hunter. Then one day, when the earthquakes began, I was called out by some crazy guy saying I had 'awoken the god of the sea' or something like that, and I was shunned by the entire city. I couldn't live a normal life there until I killed off the Lagiacrus. Oh, and there was also something about the black market, but I wasn't really paying much attention."

"Well, in that case, I guess one of our two main priorities now is to defeat the Lagiacrus and earn back the trust of everyone in Baltimare" the lavender mare nodded.

"Damn straight, baby!" smirked Teal before turning back to the sand ship "You ready to head out?"

"Just a second..." Twilight turned back to Fluttershy and took out the letter from her armour "I believe this is for you?"

"Hmm? Oh, thank you, miss" the cream Pegasus smiled "I'll be sure to read it later. Right now, you should head out to where you need to go and prepare for your fight! Y'know, when you're ready, of course..."

Twilight just smiled and rolled her eyes at this before hopping onto the deck of the ship and then up to the steering deck. Below her, Teal had already undone all the ropes connecting the ship with the pier and flew up onto the deck as well. Twilight then flipped the lever and activated the engines and sails. Finally, she steered the ship out of the dock.

"Let's just hope the swamp isn't too infected with the Frenzy Virus" the lavender hunter hoped to herself.

I felt as if this chapter was rushed and boring (especially in the lab), but it's the weekend now, so I'll have more time to write stuff for you guys.

Sorry it wasn't out sooner either. Due to FIMfiction being a dick, I lost a portion of my chapter and had to redo it again, making me punch a pillow in the face! I'm all okay now though...
