"It's over." Luna said coldly as she stared deeply into Nova's horrified eyes, he shook his head and mumbled out, "W-What are you talking about?"

"You heard me, we're done, I will not waste my time on a joke of a stallion who plays with my feelings." She said and turned around. She started to walk away while Nova felt his heart sank as he watched his former lover leaving him alone, agonisingly slowly.

"Wait! Luna!" He shouted and broke into a run trying to catch up. After few moments of chasing, he noticed that he's not getting any closer at all, he was actually getting further and further away. No matter how fast he ran his former lover's silhouette was slowly moving out of his eyesight.

"What the—" Nova didn't get to finish his sentence as suddenly the floor he was running on disappeared leaving him hopelessly falling down into the dark pit. He tried to use his wings but nothing was happening, after a quick examination of his back with his hoof Nova came to a grim realisation that his wings are gone.

After falling for what felt like many hours, his muzzle painlessly hit the floor, once again surprising him. He looked up only to see cold, stone walls surrounding him, he looked behind and saw Celestia, staring at him with nothing but spite, from behind the iron bars of his cell.

"Any last words you scum?" She asked.

"What do you mean last words? Where the hell am I?" He asked terrified as he leant onto the iron bars.

"Why in a death cell, of course, it's like a normal cell but with death, cause you're on a death row." Discord said suddenly appearing next to Celestia.

"Death row?!" Nova shouted out.

"Yes now put your bloody head on the stone." Captain Riddick exclaimed and pushed Supernova down to his knees.

Nova looked around dumbfounded only to find himself amidst a crowd of cheering ponies, watching his public execution. "Scared you cheating shithead?" Riddick asked as an executioner pony walked up next to him with a sword in his mouth.

"At this point more confused than scared." He said and then looked at his former captain and an executioner standing right next to him, "Never mind that I'm super scared, what the hell is going on?!" He shouted as he tried to wrestle his way out, but for some reason, he couldn't find any strength to fight. Nova observed in horror as heavy blade rose to the skies covering the sun for a few moments, only to finally strike down.

Nova screamed and fell down from his bed, he kept his hooves around his neck making sure there's still a head atop of it.

"What the hell dude, shut up." Void said irritated.

After a few more checks Nova took a few deep breaths and stood up, "Sorry, I had a nightmare."

"I noticed." Void said as he reluctantly stood up from his bed, way earlier than he normally would. "I won't be getting back to sleep after this kind of wake up."

"I'm really sorry." And he truly was, it was four days since Nova told Luna the truth and he still hadn't heard anything from her. He asked Void to let him sleep in their old room in the barracks as he couldn't fall asleep in his royal room given to him by Luna, he would think about her too much.

Luckily for him, Riddick hadn't assigned any new recruit to Void's room yet, and so Nova moved in for a couple of days.

"Perhaps tonight is the night Nova, cheer up." He said with his usual blank expression. "I'm sure she will understand."

"You think so?" Nova asked.

"I hope so." He said as he looked through his wardrobe for his pieces of armour, "I truly do, I mean if she gets super angry about it I might get hit too."

"Thanks for caring," Nova said half sarcastically.

"No problem, are you going somewhere?" Void asked as he noticed Nova walking towards the door.

"I am not going back to sleep that's for sure, I guess I will just walk around." He said and left Void alone in their old room, he sighed and looked back into his wardrobe collecting the last piece of armour. After a few moments of struggling with cuirass, he put everything on and head out for another night of duty. "I hope so." He mumbled under his nose.

Celestia was in her room, going through almost countless letters from nobles, politicians and many others as suddenly her ears perked up upon hearing loud knocking, followed by a squeaking noise of her doors being opened. "Do you have a minute?" Luna asked as she slowly walked into her older sister's room.

"Luna, I always have a minute for you, what's on your mind?" She asked already knowing the answer to that question.

"Well, the thing is, it's about Nova," Luna said and repeated the story she heard from Nova, Celestia already heard it but she had no intention of letting her younger sister know she was eavesdropping on her private conversation.

"I see, so how does that make you feel?" Celestia asked.

Luna moved her stare from her sister down to the floor, and then she let her eyes wander around the room as she thought about a proper way to answer. "I don't really know." She said, "I thought about it these past few days but I'm still confused."

She walked up to Celestia's bed and sat down on her haunches, "On one side I feel like it shouldn't really bother me, I mean the only part of that bet was asking me out, right?" She smiled meekly, "You go out to spend time together and get to know each other, and maybe fall in love later on."

"And that's what happened, he asked me out on a dare, but then we genuinely fell in love." Her smile disappeared as she lowered her head and put it between her hooves. "But there's another thought."

Celestia moved closer and sat down on her bed next to Luna, she gently raised her wing and put it over her younger sister's head as she asked, "What is it? You can tell me."

Luna looked up from her hooves and stared at her older sisters with watering eyes, "What if this whole thing was a bet? A dare? What if when he went back to his friends and told them that he asked me out they offered another bet. And one after that and so on." Few lone tears ran down her muzzle as she nuzzled into her sister's neck.

"What if my love was nothing more than a mere joke for him to play around?"

Celestia nuzzled her back and sighed, she stared down at her sister, so weak and fragile. She didn't know what to do, while she truly believed in Nova she also couldn't straight up tell her sister to forget about her doubts.

Two of them simply sat there, seconds turned into minutes and minutes felt like hours, after a while it was Celestia who finally broke the silence with her gentle voice, "Luna." She said.

"I cannot tell you what to do, I also can't say for sure that Nova was genuine with his feelings or not." Celestia smiled as her younger sister moved her head slightly away and looked up at her. "But what I do know, is that in these couple of years you spent in Equestria you never looked happier than with him."

Celestia gently wiped away Luna's tears with her wings, "It's been four days, go speak to him." She smiled down at her sister, "If all of that was a joke for him, then you will clearly see it now, believe me."

Luna smiled and embraced her older sister in a tight hug, "Thank you." She said and jumped off the bed and onto her hooves. "I'll go look for him."

"You do that," Celestia said and watched her younger sister walk away, as Luna approached the door she suddenly stopped and turned around.

"Is something wrong? Celestia asked.

"How do you know it was four days ago?"

"What?" Celestia asked a bit dumbfounded at a question.

"I told you I thought about it for a past few days, I didn't say it was exactly four." Luna looked at her older sister with one eyebrow raised, "And you just said that it's been four days."

Celestia suddenly froze and nervously chuckled, "Well I," she looked around her room and suddenly pointed behind Luna, "For the love of me, what is that?!" She shouted.

Luna turned around only to see still locked doors, when she looked back to her sister all she saw was a dim yellow light where she stood before.
