Somepony would say that tonight was like every other silent night, stars gleaming in the sky accompanying the glorious moon, but for Supernova it wasn’t that easy.

Because tomorrow he was going on a date with the Princess of the Night.

Nova was nervously trotting back and forth in one of the hallways not really focusing on his job as his mind was invaded by possible outcomes of his date and most of his visions weren’t too optimistic.

‘Ohh this is bad, definitely, what if I screw up and she’ll send me to the moon? No wait she wouldn’t do that, she would banish me to the sun more likely.’ Supernova shivered in fear of disappearing into sun’s blazing flames.

“Nova, get your flank over here.”

Supernova looked around confused before spotting his Void poking his head from around a corner, he shrugged and walked over to his friend.

“What are you doing here? We will have problem if Riddick finds us.”

“Don’t worry about that, I just saw him going into kitchen.”

“Oh good then we have around 20 minutes, wassup?”

“Don’t you “wassup” me, dude you look like you’re about to shit your pants, if you had them.”

“I do?” Supernova asked not realizing that he was still shivering in fear and his face was turning more and more pale as they spoke.

“Let me guess, you’re nervous?” Void asked smirking.

“Well I… oh who am I kidding of course I am bucking nervous! I’m supposed to go on a date with a Princess, me a simple guard, with the Princess of the bucking Night!” Nova finished his sentence by dramatically throwing his hooves into the air.

“Yeah well, about that, I came here to give you some advices.”

Nova cocked his eyebrow “You do? Seriously?”

Void nodded.

“Who are you and what did you do to Void?”

“Ha ha very funny, even I might want to help out friends from time to time.”

“Fair enough, so what was that about advices?”

“Yeah...” Void coughed few times before continuing “Well since you’re going to the club I asked my friend who is a DJ a few questions and…”

“Wait you have a friend and he’s a DJ? Wait you have friends? Other than me Sky and Star?”

“Once again very funny, yes I do and it’s not “he.” SHE’S a DJ. But whatever do you want me to tell you these things or not?”

“Of course sorry for stopping you go ahead.” Nova said smiling dumbly.

“Well then, first off she told me which club you should go to, of course I didn’t tell her you’re going to be with Princess but that shouldn’t be a problem, as you might have guessed it she’s a DJ there.” Nova nodded.

“Next thing is that clubs are, well extremely expensive, ok maybe extremely is a bit of exaggerating but she told me that you two should firstly have few drinks in some other place, perhaps a small bar or something like that.”

“That would actually make a good addition to the date, good idea, you got anything else?”

“Not really, well I do if you count “Just go in and have fun with everypony else while DJ will drop down some sick beats.” as an advice.”

Supernova smiled and nodded “Thanks that seriously helped, I’m totally fine now!”

“Really?” Void asked cocking one of his eyebrows.

“No! I’m still scared as hell but thanks for help anyways, I’ll remember these advices, so what’s the club called?”

“Coolloseum.”

Supernova sighed “Really? “Coolloseum?”.”

“What can I do, I’m not the owner and neither is she.”

“Well I just hope your friend is right and this date will go great.”

“We surely hope for that too.”

Suddenly both bat ponies jumped in placed surprised and turned right, the sight which unfolded before them made Nova’s face even paler then it already was.

Here before them stood Princess Luna smiling widely.

“I got you this time.”

“Well you certainly did, y-your majesty.” Nova said as both night guards bowed in respect.

“Oh my would you look at that, from what I remember you weren’t acting like that last time.”

‘Yeah because I had freaking tons of adrenaline going through my veins making me do stupid shit like asking Princess on a date.’ “W-Well I…”

“Relax Supernova, I just came here to ask on what time you are going to pick us… I mean me, up.”

Supernova flinched “I actually didn’t think about it before, h-how about 9 P.M?”

“Excellent, I shall be ready when the time comes then.” And with these words Luna nodded her farewell towards both bat ponies and walked away.

Both guys stood there frozen for couple of minutes before Void finally spoke.

“I have to say I didn’t fully believe you before.”

“It’s fine I still can’t quite believe it myself.”

Same Castle, a few minutes earlier

Luna happily trotted through the hallways of Canterlot Castle, her night just began and it wasn’t like every other night, tomorrow she was going on a date.

And of course she wouldn’t admit it but she felt like a little filly on Hearth's Warming Eve, but who could blame her she hadn’t on a date for like, forever.

And forever is a very long time.

With her thoughts constantly running towards tomorrows night she trotted into the direction of royal kitchen in order to eat some breakfast, she just woke up after all.

“Good morni… I mean good night Luna.” Princess stopped and turned to her left where Discord stood smiling widely.

“Good night Discord, may I ask what are you doing here?”

“Oh you know, I couldn’t sleep so I went on a little walk to stretch my limbs.” Discord said as he detached his limbs one after another and quite literally stretched them back and forth.

“Yes I can see that much, well if you don’t mind I was going to get something to eat so…”

“Ohh of course I just wanted to ask, what time is your date starting at?”

Luna flinched as her eyes went wide “I-I don’t know.”

“Ohh?”

“I forgot to ask him, wait no he forgot to tell me, ohh whatever, he’s one of the night guards he must be in here somewhere, thanks again Discord!” Luna said and trotted away to search for Nova.

Discord smiled widely and started to walk away before he was stopped by a green fire raging out of nowhere above him.

His smiled widened as the flame slowly changed into a letter which he quickly opened.

“Dear Discord

I’m so glad you wrote to me about this! I’ll be so happy to help you, ohh it’s been a long time since I pranked somepony, I remember good old times when I did all those jokes with Rainbow Dash, ohh those were the times.

I will come to Canterlot tomorrow in the morning! I’ll bring some cupcakes so we can have a small party!

Now sorry but I have to finish this letter before Twilight will wake up and get all mad at me for waking up Spike in order to send you this letter, but I had to I mean I could have send it by mail but they don’t work at night so you would get it in the morning and that wouldn’t make sense because I would probably already be there, or maybe I would still be on train and then it…

Discord closed the letter and started to laugh, quietly at first but it soon evolved into a maniacs laugh.
