Void cursed his luck covering himself with the blankets as he heard the sound of Celestia’s hoofsteps, closer and closer.

As she finally stopped just few inches in front of the bed, Void was sure this is the end for him, luckily Celestia didn’t get any closer and instead chose to stay where she was. “Luna, I wanted to talk with you about, all of this.”

Not wanting to push his luck, Void decided it will be the best to speak only when he has to.

“Tell me sister, are these rumors that pushed me to the point of spying on my own sibling true? Are you courting somepony?”

Void gulped, what was he supposed to say? He could say yes but as far as he knew Princess Luna didn’t want her sister to know yet. I guess there’s no other option here. He thought and trying his best to sound as tired as possible replied. “No Prin…sister, I am not courting anypony right now.”

He could feel Celestia’s eyes gazing at him for Faust know how long before hearing her sigh in disappointment. “Luna, are you telling me the truth? I’m tired of all this, if you are in a relationship, you can tell me.”

Void’s confidence shivered for a moment as he believed Celestia’s words, however right now he wasn’t talking as a Void Night, he was speaking for Princess Luna and only thing he knew is that her relationship with Nova wasn’t supposed to reach Celestia’s eyes.

“I’m saying the truth sister, now could you please leave, I’m really tired.” He said and yawned.

Celestia raised her eyebrow and stared at her sister hidden under the blankets, she knew her sister for decades and today, something was off about her.

“Really Luna?”

“Yes, I’m tired.” Void could feel his heart raising its pace with each word that left his mouth.

“Fine then, I guess I’ll go and take care of my phoenix Philomena, you know the one that you love playing with?”

“Oh yes, of course you can go and do that.”

A small confident grin appeared on Celestia’s muzzle for a second. “No, no I can’t.”

“Why not dear sister?”

“I don’t have any pets.”

Void felt all of his blood freeze, similar to when Riddick came in here but worse, he started to sweat and his brain stopped working for a moment, after few seconds, when he finally fully comprehended the situation Void took a big calming breath and silently said one more word. “Fuck.”

Luna and Nova finally made it to the room, the sun was already up, but so were the curtains that blocked every single ray of irritating light.

Supernova stood in place not sure what to do now, in their previous times when they went through with things like cuddling, or recently kissing were all fueled by the momentum of current moments.

Now they just stood there after a walk through a castle, but this time they had plans, unlike when he took her to the Snowdrop Meadow for the first time, or that completely unexpected first kiss.

Luna decided to make a first move as she started to take off her royal regalia, Nova released the breath he was holding without even noticing it, and proceeded to take off his armor.

The situation they were in brought back the feeling Nova was starting to get used to, he once again was nervous.

Sure ponies walked around without any clothes all the time, but with just him and her in the same room, both of them taking their clothes off, well not really clothes but close enough.

Nova as a healthy stallion he was couldn’t help but create some imaginations in his head, most of them were not proper for a teen rated fic.

After they were done the awkwardness came back and they simply stood next to each other, both staring at Nova’s bed, now that he looked at it he started to question if it will even provide enough place for both of them.

Nova wanted to say something, anything, but everything that came to his mind would only made situation worse, so he came up with another idea.

Without saying any words he simply walked to his bed and laid down, making space for his Princess.

Luna smiled glad that this was finally over and following suit she placed herself on the bed, it was small, on the meadow they had a lot of place to share, here not so much.

But depending on how you look at it, this might not have been so bad, in order to fit together they had to get really close to each other, Luna placed her muzzle under his being slightly smaller than he was. Nova unfolded his wing and placed over his marefriend, he also moved both of his front legs behind her back.

And finally they laid together, sure they had cuddled before on the Snowdrop Meadow, but this time it was much better.

Nova could feel Luna’s soft breath on his neck as he gently moved his hooves on her back and shoulders, making her purr from time to time, Supernova quickly decided that it is the cutest sound he ever heard.

And so the two laid together slowly drifting off into the land of dreams, without the previous awkwardness and nervousness in the way, Nova felt his consciousness slowly fade away.

“So, who are you, why are you here, where’s my sister? I want an answer to these questions in this order exactly.” Celestia asked with an angry frown on her muzzle as she looked down upon Void, who was still covered by the blankets.

“What if I tell you that I knew you don’t have any pets and I just wanted to make fun of you?”

“Jokes on you then, I do have a phoenix called Philomena.”

Void cursed under his muzzle. “I guess you got me.” He answered hoping to sound confident, although in reality he was barely holding himself together.

“I guess I do, now, three questions, you got ten seconds.” Celestia said and started to tap her hoof on the floor signaling the passing of his time.

Void felt that with each tap of her hoof he was getting closer to the moon, not wanting to go there though he decided to try his last chance and answer her questions, he raised from the blankets and took of his magical wig, followed by a simple “Unpainting.”

Celestia stared in awe as the magical paint was being removed revealing his true color, which wasn’t that much different.

“The name’s Void Night Princess, I’m one of the night guards.”

Said Princess kept her gaze on him for few moments before she finally found the memory she was looking for. “You are the guard that I asked to spy on my sister aren’t you?”

“Y-Yes your highness.”

“Fine then, next two questions, why are you here, and where’s my sister?” Celestia said and moved closer to Void, her horn starting to shine with a dim light.

Void felt all of his strength leaving him as he shivered on the bed. “I really don’t want to be on the moon.” He silently mumbled out.

Celestia was about to ask another question before she heard something, a sound she got used to after hearing it so many times now.

Discord laughed his ass off as he floated in midair above Void and Celestia. “What’s so funny?” She asked her angry frown still present.

“Oh Tia! We got you!”

Both Void and Celestia stared at Discord in utter confusion.

“Ha you should see a look on your muzzle, we totally got her, bravo Void!” Discord shouted and patted bat pony on his back.

“Emmm, thanks?”

“I don’t get it, what’s going on?” Celestia asked as her confusion grew with each second of this nonsense. One would think she should get used to being surrounded by nonsense when she married a god of chaos.

“Me, Luna and Void here, we totally got you, well Void was just helping us out without really having a choice but he did a great job! Don’t you get it Tia? This is all a small prank on you.”

Celestia listened to his words as her eyelid started to twitch. “A prank?”

“Indeed! It was Luna’s idea but I absolutely loved it, she hid herself for today not even telling me where she went, while leaving Void behind.”

“What was the point of this prank, honey?” The way in which Celestia said last word in her sentence sent a shiver down Void’s spine.

“To get you a bit frustrated, but it was also for your own good.”

“How was this good for me?”

“It’s training of strong will, Sunshine.”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“You tend to eat even more cake than usual when you’re angry.”

Celestia felt her nerves finally breaking and her whole body twitching without control.

“I don’t have any problem with cake!” She shouted out in her royal canterlot voice.

“Tsk, tsk, tsk, getting this angry is not good for your health Sunshine, why don’t you go and take a relaxing bath? And remember no cake!”

Sighing in defeat Celestia started to leave the room with annoyance written all over her expression, but this whole situation wasn’t the worst.

No, the worst thing was that she actually really wanted to have a slice of cake right now.

After few moments Princess left the room and Void sighed feeling the biggest relief in his life. After few moments he looked over to the god of chaos still present in the room and smiled.

“Thanks, really I though It’s over for me.”

“You’re welcome, although I did it mostly for Luna and her coltfriend, and it is always nice to see Tia frustrated.”

Void chuckled. “It definitely is.”

“Well then I’ll be going, I can’t lose such occasion.”

“What are you talking about now?”

“Tia’s probably taking a shower, usually she does that before I wake up so I miss on the chance of giving her a surprise.”

“What kind of surprise are we talking about here?”

Discord smiled mischievously. “A chocolate rain kind of surprise.”
