Discord had left the scene of some of the elements of harmony fighting against the elemental Ice pony to locate Celestia and the others. Currently he was flying through the castle with Steel at his side, flying within his magical grasp as they attempted to locate the other group.

"So tell me, is the only reason you're giving up is because your outnumbered and outgunned. Or is it because you fear death?" Discord asked as they turned another corner, listening to the destruction that was steadily getting closer.

"I........... to be honest, I have lived my entire life being blind with only the aid of a spell to help aid me in seeing. I grew angry over time at those who had better lives and no handicaps to hinder their development. I wanted to cause all of them pain and suffering so that they could feel my pain. But when Screwball said she wanted to destroy everything in existence so that they all could feel her pain............ It made me realize that.......... that what I was doing wasn't worth all the pain and suffering I was causing. I may be a cold hearted pony at times, but that doesn't mean that I am unwilling to change to become a better one. I just want to have a normal life." He sighed as the finally came to a stop just as a plume of fire melted through some of the solid cobblestone walls.

Discord stepped back just in time to avoid some of the molten rock that fell to the floor. "WOOOOOOO! Dat's a spicey'a meat'a'ball!"

"DISCORD! GET BACK!" Celestia shouted as a beam of energy shot out from her horn, hitting Kindle only to warp around the heat she was emitting from all around herself. "Magic isn't working on her!"

"Most magic won't work on Kindle!" Steel shouted as the pony galloped toward the princess, the ground heating up and smoking upon each impact of her hoof against it.

"DISCORD?! I thought you were fighting that pony?!" Pinkie shouted as she used her element to jump away from the fire pony and run along the ceiling, only to jump down and buck her backwards through the hole she had just created in the wall.

"No time to explain. Tia! I need you to go to the other group, they require fire magic in order to deal any damage to that Ice pony." Discord shouted as she continued to fire beams of energy at the fire pony.

"I am not sure if you are aware of this or not my dear, but I am currently preoccupied with this elemental." Celestia spoke up as she darted away from a plume of fire that had been sent her way.

"Discord, I.......... I think I can stop Kindle, but I'm going to need a minute." Steel spoke as his horn lit up.

"Ugh! Fine, but hurry up." Discord groaned as he watched the battle being played out.

"Discord! You could help you know!" Rarity yelled as she picked up pieces of the fallen cobblestone wall and began to hurl them at the fire pony, only to have them melt before they could reach her.

"What can I do?" He yelled back. "You know I can't use my magic because it will upset the balance further."

"RAAAAAAAAAGH! Fine! Use mine!" Rarity yelled in frustration as her horn lit up causing her to vanish and reappear onto the draconequus as a set of diamond armor. In his hand he wielded a large blue diamond mallet that glowed brightly.

"What....... just happened?" Discord began but was suddenly flung sideways out of the path of another plume of fire that almost singed him badly.

"Pay attention you idiot! Or you're going to get us both killed!" Rarity shouted as the chest plate on the draconequus glowed for each passing word. "Now attack her!"

"But I can't take a life! It's forbidden for me to do so!" He began but stopped as Rarity spoke up once again.

"You're not going to kill her, I am! I am your armor and weapon currently so it will be me taking her life. NOW HURRY THE BUCK UP!" She shouted once again causing Discord to chuckle as he pulled the large mallet backwards like an oversized baseball bat.

"Batter up!" *WHAM* He swung the hammer as hard as he could, connecting it into the side of Kindles head and spinning her around so fast that it actually created a small vortex of fire. After a few seconds, the fire pony came to a stop, laying on the ground as a line of blood oozed from her head and onto the floor. A loud sizzling sound escaping as it made contact with the cobblestone.

"You done yet Steel?!" Discord shouted to the pony as he turned around seeing his horn glowing brightly.

"Yep!" He shouted back as he let loose a beam of magic onto the fire pony for a full ten seconds before falling to the ground panting.

"So what did you do exactly? I don't see any change in her." Celestia stated as she trotted up, her horn a blazing white with power as she grabbed a hold of the fire pony, placing her into a reversed shield. They all stopped however as Kindle let out a low groan of pain.

"Ooooooooh............. What hit me?" Kindle groaned in pain.

"I freed her from the mind control she was under. She's on your side now." Steel stated with a smirk. "Now you've got your FIRE power to take care of Ice." He chuckled at his own pun, but causing the others to groan in annoyance.

"Fire power? What is he talking about, and what the hell happened to me?" Kindle spoke up as she looked around herself.

"Kindle, Screwball put you under some type of mind control shortly after you had the elemental spell cast onto yourself. Since the spell had been cast before the mind control had been used, your new physical form became much more resistant to it due to your power level. I just used a high powered counter spell to reverse it is all." Steel stated before continuing. "For now though, we need you to go and fight Ice before she does any more damage."

Kindle stood there for a moment, still held within Celestia's magical shield. Her face contorting for a moment at to what she had just heard.

"Fuck you Steel!" She yelled causing everypony to gawk. "You're the one who said I could do this fucking spell on myself, then for some reason, I wake up in the middle of a seriously fucked up Canterlot castle, with the princess and a bunch of ponies.............. and Discord?! I'm not doing shit until somepony explains exactly what in the hell is going on." She huffed before placing her flank right onto the ground within the shield.

"UGH! We don't have time for this!" Rarity growled out as the armor on Discord glowed before melting away and returning back into her pony form. "If you don't help us, then there is a high possibility that Midnight, along with my friends could get hurt, or even perish. So please pull your head out of your bum long enough to just help us!" Rarity fumed as she gave a stomp of her hoof onto the ground.

"Midnight..............? He's here?" Kindle asked in surprise. "And he's fighting as well?"

"Yep, and we need your help and Celestia's to take care of the Ice elemental pony before we can go to aid him." Discord sighed.

"Wait, Ice is here? And you want me to fight her? In her elemental form?" Kindle gave a sinister grin as her entire body erupted into an inferno. "I am so going to kick that bitch's ass."

Everypony standing there gave a determined grin as Discord pulled them all close. "Alrighty! Everypony get with their buddy!" He chuckled as he snapped his talons once making them vanish from sight, teleporting to Ice's location.

Elsewhere, Screwball and Midnight Dash were still duking it out as they flew over the town of Ponyville. The two ponies desperately trying to anger Screwball to the point where she would chase them, but kept failing in that endeavor as she continued trying to attack the town.

"Why are you protecting these ants?! They are nothing but a waste of space!" Screwball shouted toward the duo as they flew into one another, then separating only to fly back into each other for one more hit.

"I am protecting them because they are my friends and loved ones, and I will do so until my last breath." Midnight's voice shouted from the armor as the two ponies grappled in the air, sending kicks and punches back and forth. Some being blocked while others made contact. After finally grabbing a hold of Midnight Dash and pinning her wings to her body, Screwball gave a loud cackle as she turned headfirst toward the ground and screamed out as they made a quick decent.

"TIME TO DIE!"

*BOOM*

The ground shook violently as they made impact into the ground, Screwball jumping quickly back into the air before the dust had settled so that she could look at her handy work from above. She stopped though as a small glow could be seen within the dust cloud as it began to thin out. Screwball gave a growl at what she was witnessing.

Midnight had separated from Rainbow Dash, holding her within a magical field of protection, His horn alight with power as a small portal opened next to him, two vials of something were floating out of it and quickly being downed by the two ponies.

"What was that? What did you just drink?" Screwball yelled toward them, they only giving a smirk as they tossed the vials to the ground making them shatter upon impact.

"That, was something a good friend made for us." Midnight chuckled as he smirked, giving a nod to Rainbow as her Element lit up brightly causing her body to glow and vanish before reappearing onto Midnight as as set of armor completely new to him.

The new armor was a light cyan blue just like Dash's coat. It fit onto his frame along with his current regal armor. The flames that came from his armor now a multi-colored hue of a Rainbow as it danced about just like a normal flame. Armor ran along tip front of his wings leaving a serrated blade that could cut through light itself. His head now had a half helmet that swooped backward and down, leaving a hole in the top as it let his horn move easily through it. A chest plate that was once white and covered a small part of his chest now spread out to the sides at an angle to make it more aerodynamic, leaving a pointed tip that was red, the color of Dash's Elemental Regalia. His hooves seemed to float off of the ground as his new shoes seemed to emit a visible wind that looked almost tangible.

"It doesn't matter how strong you are, you're still only half Alicorn, the other half is a weak human, and that makes me.........." She stopped as Midnight shouted out.

"NOTHING! You're nothing Screwball. You were created with magic, nothing else! Then you go and shun your only father because he tells you that it is wrong of you to kill in order to gain power. You're nothing but a waste of magic." He shouted causing the purple-ish pink ponys eyes to visibly water.

"Now night, while she's distracted." Dash spoke causing Midnight to vanish from sight. Screwball gasp as she felt a small tingle in her gut that quickly spread all around her midsection. She slowly looked down to see blood beginning to pour out of her as the lower half of her body fell toward the ground below.

"No........" she whispered as pain consumed her world. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" She screeched out as a white light engulfed her, pressing Midnight back several hundred feet before it shrank back to her. He opened his eyes to see her only a few inches away from him, glaring death at him.

"Screwba...." He didn't get to finish as he was hit hard with a mallet, sending him flying in a large arch toward Canterlot, Screwball hot on his heels. He managed to look back through the pain to see her following him.

"Heh, guess that made her mad." He chuckled.
