Back in Canterlot, Kindle, Celestia, Discord, Steel, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie had teleported back to the others to see them still attempting to fight off Ice to the best of their abilities. As they had jumped backwards from the Ice pony to attempt another assault, but stopped as what looked like a huge fireball plowed into the ice pony.

"What in the?" Twilight began but stopped as Celestia made it quickly to her side.

"I believe you requested some extra FIRE power dear sister." Celestia stated with a smirk toward her sister.

"Tia, you are simply awful at puns." Luna stated with a roll of her eyes but squeaked out as the fire pony roared by her and through a wall. Ice following quickly after her and bypassing the others without a second glance.

"Do you think she can handle that other pony?" Rarity asked just before the ice pony was sent reeling backward through the hole she had just came through at an alarming speed.

"EAT THAT YOU BITCH!" Kindle roared out as she flew after her, sending a wave of fire off of her body.

"My goodness." Celestia stated toward the foul language.

"No time to doddle my dear, we need to check on Midnight and Rainbow Dash to see if they have......" Discord began but stopped as the ceiling in front of them collapse as the dark Alicorn came crashing through it and through the floor as well as several other floors below.

After a few more seconds, Screwball came crashing through the hole as well, giving a battle cry as she went after him. Discord blinked a couple of time before he began.

"Well I guess that answers my question." He chuckled.

"And what was the question." Twilight asked as she looked over the edge of the hole to stare at the darkness below.

"Is Midnight getting his ass kicked right now or not?" He chuckled but stopped as all of the ponies glared at him.

"Sheesh, sorry! You're all so touchy about him." He sighed in annoyance.

"Get bit!" Applejack snorted as she jumped down the hole after the ponies, quickly followed by the rest of the group.

As Midnight finally crashed through the final floor of the castle and into the dungeon below, he managed to roll out of the way just in time as Screwball plowed into the ground next to him. He quickly got to his hooves taking a defensive stance as he watched Screwball scream out in anger before charging toward him like a bolt of lightning, connecting with him and sending out a crack of thunder as both ponies were sent backwards from a forehoof to the jaw. Both skidded to a stop on the floor, slowly pulling themselves upright as they panted for breath.

"Give up............... I'm going to destroy this world, and everything in it............ and you can't ............ stop me." Screwball growled out between breaths.

"Screwball, I'm sorry for any pain that I caused you in the past, even if it was my darker half that did it, he was still part of me............. Please........... think of what your wanting to do........... You will be ending countless lives by destroying this world." He paused for a moment to gather himself. "Your actions will not only cause this world to perish, but also all of existence......... You keep throwing the balance between chaos and harmony off to the point where it is starting to affect everything."

"Shut up! This isn't just about daddy anymore! He doesn't love me now because of you. I wanted to seek revenge for him, and now he hates me because I wanted to kill you. It's all your fault." She cried out as tears streamed down her face.

"No Screwball......." Discord began as he landed through the large hole in the ceiling. "I don't hate you at all. You are still my little girl, and I would do anything for you."

"Then why are you protecting the one who placed you back into your stone prison? Why are you denying me the right to kill him? Why are you fighting against me?" She wailed as tears began to flow freely from her face.

"Because Chaos cannot directly take the lives of any being. They can only do so through causing chaos to the environment and allowing the being to fall from it over time. But even that way I do not approve of taking life. Screwball, you can't take lives simply because they upset you or do bad things to you. It is against our very nature to do that, and the punishment from doing so is severe. You are just lucky enough to be a pony that I created, alone. You do not fall within those rules, that is why I am asking you, not only as a friend, but as your father and creator. Please stop all of this madness. Your continued actions are causing a massive rift in the balance to chaos and harmony. If you continue on this course, then all of creation will come to a halt and have to be restarted from the beginning."

"If that means that I can have my way, and get rid of this insect. Then so be it!" Screwball began to shake violently as the ground started to move in conjunction. Stones began to fall from the ceiling left and right as the castle began to give way to the shaking.

"Dash!" Midnight spoke out.

"Light speed?" She asked through the glowing chest armor.

"Light speed and haste." He stated as his horn began to glow brightly causing everything to come to a standstill.

It took midnight almost twenty minutes to grab everypony inside of the castle and quickly take them to Ponyville, but those twenty minutes were only twenty milliseconds in real time. Screwball looked around her after blinking only once to realize that every pony within the castle had just vanished. She roared out as light consumed her body.

"Is everypony ok?" Celestia asked as she blinked. One second she was inside her castles dungeon which was falling all around her, the next she was in Ponyville with everypony that had already been teleported there for safety.

"We're fine princess, but what's going on?" Sweetiebelle stated as she trotted up to the white Alicorn.

"We are in a fight to save this world, and all of existence as well." She stated as she looked to the castle just as a white light erupted from it. A few seconds later the ground quaked as an earth shattering explosion sounded off. Celestia looked back to the castle to see it no longer there, but the pieces of it were flying in every direction, including toward Ponyville.

"LUNA! SHIELD THE TOWN!" Celestia shouted as her horn lit up into a blinding white light.

"On it!" Luna shouted back as her horn lit up as well, the two celestial sisters conjoining their power to bring up a large shield which surrounded the town in their magical aura. Stones began to hit the shield a few seconds after the shield had come up. Pinging off like bullets ricocheting off of a solid object. The sound alone began to come to a deafening roar for a few seconds before finally subsiding as the dust began to clear from the countless impacts.

Once the pings had come to a stop, the two princess' lowered the shield around the town giving a sigh of relief. That was of course until a smoking black Alicorn crashed into the ground in front of them, Dash being held against his chest as he lay there.

"Midnight!" Many of the ponies shouted as they rushed to his side. Dash slowly pulling herself from his limp grip as she stood over him crying.

"Stupid! Stupid Midnight!" She wept seeing his body almost completely torn to shreds and bleeding badly.

"What happened?" Twilight asked as she came up to his side and began using her magic to attempt to heal him.

"The big idiot couldn't get out in time to avoid that final blast. I was his armor so I could have taken the brunt of it and still survived, but he forced me back into pony form and managed to put up a shield around us just before it hit us." Dash stated as she nosed the Alicorn on the ground.

"At least you're safe now Dash." He managed to chuckle only to cough out some blood. "Ow, that smarts." He stated through a pained breath as he began to force himself to stand.

"Midnight, you need to rest. We can fight for you." Celestia said as she came to his side.

"That's what you think!" Screwball shouted as she bolted toward Midnight, he managing to push the ponies near him away with his wings and hooves just before she made contact with him, sending him backwards through a crowd of screaming ponies.

All around the center of Ponyville were now many injured ponies from that final hit. Screwball stood over the fallen body of Midnight as he lay there, completely motionless and barely breathing. She smiled giving a soft chuckle that quickly turned into a mad cackle.

"I've done it.......... I'VE DONE IT!" She shouted through a maddening cackle.

All of the ponies around the town center began to help friends and family to get away as the crazed pony continued laughing. One little unicorn though was crawling slowly toward Midnight, pain covering her face as she cried out in pain. Not only from being hurt, but seeing her uncle near death.

"Un............... Uncle............. Midnight.........." Sweetiebelle spoke out as she pulled herself closer toward the Alicorn causing him to slowly open an eye and looked around as blood covered it, blurring his vision to the point of almost being blind.

"Swee..........tie..........." He managed to speak out as his body tried to move to pull himself closer to the filly.

"What?!" Screwball shouted as she stopped laughing to see the scene before her. "How are you still alive?!" She screamed to the Alicorn as he lay writhing on the ground. Sweetiebelle managing to get to her hooves and walk over to her uncle, standing in front of him in a protective stance.

"You........... won't hurt my UNCLE!" Sweetiebelle shouted as her little horn lit up, picking up the surprised chaos pony and throwing her back twenty feet before she to fell to the ground panting. Her magic completely spent.

Screwball quickly picked herself up from the ground, her eyes wide at what had just happened. "Did I..... just get tossed like a ragdoll by a foal?!" She squeaked out in shock before laughter consumed her once again. She came to a stop however as Celestia, Luna, and the rest of the Elements of Harmony stepped in front of Midnight, cutting off Screwball's path to him, All ready to fight to the bitter end.

"What in Tartarus is all of these ponies doing out here? And what is with all this noise?! I can't even think of a good beat to play my music with everypony making enough noise to make even me scratch one of my vinyls!" Vinyl Scratch shouted as she pressed through the crowd only to stop as the came upon Midnight and the Princess'. She stared at the fallen Alicorn for a moment, gawking at his terrible condition before a look of anger came over her face.

"Who hurt my friend?!" She growled low and deep, causing everypony who heard her to have their fur stand on end.

"I did, and I'll be killing him now. So just piss off!" Screwball shouted as she came over and pressed her nose right to Vinyls.

Vinyl gave a smirk as she backed up for a moment and walked around Screwball a few paces before stopping. Her horn lighting up as she lowered her shades over her eyes, pulled out a set of turtle shell earphones, and flipped her mp3 player on that Midnight had given her for Hearth's Warming.

"Sorry you nut job. Nopony hurt's my friend and gets away with it." She grinned as she took in a huge breath of air as her horn lit up. She opened her mouth just as her magic reached her mouth and throat as she let out an ear shattering scream. Blue ripples of magic echoing out in waves at sonic speeds towards Screwball who only had enough time to let her eyes go wide before she was blasted with such force that some of her fur, mane and tail were rip out by the roots as it hit her, sending her flying at a super sonic speed backwards and out of town.

Vinyl closed her mouth taking in another breath to steady herself before walking over to Midnight who had an eye open to look up at her, he gave a weak smile as he managed to speak out a few words.

"Hey doll, nice to see you drop by. Sorry I can't get up to make you some tea, I am kinda fucked up at the moment." He chuckled for a moment before coughing out some more blood.

"Dang bro, just sit tight. We'll get you fixed up pretty quick. Nopony can get up from that blast for at least ten minutes. Even that nut job." Vinyl chuckled as she waved the others over who began to administer some healing magic. Celestia even managing to open Midnight's stash portal to retrieve a potion to give him.

Everypony began to work frantically to do what they could, because this ten minute window would be all they would get before Screwball came back, with a vengeance.
