Yes, the day had finally arrived. Heart's and Hooves Day. A day when everypony with a special somepony would celebrate their love for one another. Many would celebrate in different ways, whether it be a dinner and an evening together under the stars, Or a day filled with passion in the bed together. For the young ones who would be inexperienced in those areas, a quick trip to Sugarcube Corner to get some ice cream and root beer would suffice.

But today however would be yet another reason to celebrate, as it was time for the Royal wedding of Princess Celestia, along with three of the element bearers, to become betrothed to Midnight Flame. This day had been planned out to the fullest extent, and being held within Canterlot, it would be the largest and most fantastic wedding ever to grace the planet.

The castle had been decorated with many different hues to symbolize the four brides that would soon be wed. The throne room had been affixed with many decorations and banners. Many pews had been lined up from the entrance of the throne room to the far end, exceeding the limit that would normally be placed into that room. This being due to the fact that the entire Apple family had arrived to see Applejack become a bride. That alone took up nearly ten pews.

The thrones had been moved back to against the wall to allow for the procession to commence at the scheduled time, which was fast in approaching. It would only be another twenty minutes before the wedding would begin, and the crowd of ponies had already filled every seat in the throne room along with standing cram packed, shoulder to shoulder, flank to flank while more still attempted to file into the room. It was getting to the point where the guard had to reconsider the actual room be closed and continue the event within the palace garden. But luckily for them, only a hoof full of other ponies were left out of the room to stand just outside and watch from the door.

However, they would be lucky enough to get to see the brides first before any other pony. As the time neared, Midnight had made his way to the front to stand next to a large draconequus that was dressed in a very nice tuxedo and smiling widely as he looked around to all of the ponies within the room then to the dark Alicorn that was standing next to him.

"I can't believe you asked me to be your best pony Midnight. In all of my years in existence, I have never been asked to be a best pony. I may have crashed quite a few weddings to cause some chaos, but this! This feels like the most important honor I could ever receive." Discord chuckled as he hugged Midnight roughly for a moment before releasing him and fixing his tux back, pressing a few wrinkles from it.

"It's no problem my friend. After going through everything you have had to endure only to realize that things could finally work out between chaos and harmony, This is the least I can do for such a friend." Midnight chuckled seeing him beam. "Just make sure that the chaos that you decide to do comes after the wedding is over."

Discord gave him a playful salute before hearing the music begin, signalling that the wedding had officially began. At that moment, everypony stood and looked back toward the entrance to see the doors slowly open to reveal three little fillies tossing petals onto the ground as they skipped happily down the path toward Midnight. Once they had arrived the stepped off to the side opposite of the groom before the first Bride began to make her walk down the path.

Rarity was in a gem laced wedding dress that she had painstakingly made over a period of several months, having changed several things as time went on so that it would be perfect for her. It was an elegant white, laced with many blue sapphires that would match her cutie mark perfectly. She strode proudly down the path, beaming brightly as she went. Her mother and father off to the right side front pew watching as she stopped to give them a hug before stepping up to beside her stallion.

Following Rarity was Twilight who began her approach just as Rarity had made it to the front. Her dress was hoofed down to her from her mother who had worn it for her own wedding to Twilight's father. Rarity of course had offered her to make a new dress for her that would be a match to her own, but was refused so that should could honor her families tradition of passing down the dress. The dress was a dark blue unlike traditionally dresses that were white. It had some slightly older fashioned lace along the edges that faded into a darker blue and then to black much like when the evening sky began to loose its last bit of light, allowing the Twilight hour to come upon the sky. As she made it to the front, her mother gave a smile as tears flowed from her eyes, Twilight's father hugging her gently as he to smiled to his daughter.

Next was the hardest working pony in Ponyville, Applejack. She had pulled out a surprise that noone had known about, even her brother and sister. Granny Smith had told her about her wedding dress that she had passed down to her daughter, Applejack's mother, that she had also worn on her wedding day, much like Twilight's mother had hers. Applejack agreed without hesitation to wear the dress, even though it was out of style and extremely old fashioned. She felt great pride in being able to wear something that her mother had once worn for her wedding as well. The dress was a light yellow that was a contrast to her mothers coat of orange, just like hers. Her mane however threw it off slightly as her mothers mane was a dark brown, but she carried her fathers mane color, which of course was the brilliant blonde that she currently bore that matched the dress perfectly, blending into it and making it look as if it was actually part of her.

Finally the moment had arrived as the music kicked up into a more fancy tempo as Princess Celestia came through the entrance, her loving smile shining brightly throughout the room. Everypony looked on in awe as her wings unfolded revealing a light rainbow effect that would trail slowly behind her. Her normal regalia had been removed. The shoes being replaced with blue diamond regalia. Her chest piece having been removed so that the dress could stay in its place. Her crown had been removed so that her mane could flow more freely as she walked down the path.

As Celestia walked down the path, listening to the wedding march music play, she couldn't help but shed a tear as she made the trek. In all of the time she had been alive, she never thought this day would have come. But it was here, at this very moment in time, being played out in real life. No longer a dream that she had been having for so many times before. Yes, it was here, and nothing could ruin this moment for her.

Once she had made it to the front of the path, she, along with the three elements, stepped up to Midnight's side as he looked forward with them just before the music came to a quiet stop, and the pastor began to speak out.

"Good afternoon to you all, and thank you for being present for this momentous day in Equestrian history. We are gathered here today to witness the betrothing of these five individuals into a single, wonderful family, and to bring forth a new age to our great nation. Our Princess Celestia, along with three of the elements of harmony, generosity, magic, and honesty, will be wed to Midnight Flame, protector and savior of our world on more than one occasion. Together, they will bring forth far more happiness and well being to our world as they continue to give their knowledge and experience to help guide us into the future."

As the priest continued on, a single pony gave a yawn as she floated outside the window of the castle. Invisible to any and all around her. "This is so boring, just get on with it so I can murder them." Screwball groaned as she watched the display pan out inside.

The priest gave a smile as the last vows had been said and the rings floated from the ring bearers pillow. Little Starlight was standing silently, smiling up to his mother and father as the rings floated past him. One being placed onto each of the ladies present. Applejack's had been placed onto a golden necklace and placed around her neck while the others had been placed onto their horns at the very base. Midnight's rings were placed along the length of his horn. One at the base and going up to the tip at a quarter of the length of the horn, the tip bearing a golden ring that encompassed it. Each ring etched with symbol bearing each of the ladies cutie marks. Celestia's being the very tip while Rarity's was at the base, housing three little blue diamonds, Twilight's being the second and bearing three little purple stars, while Applejack's was next to Celestia's ring bearing three little orange apples.

The priest gave another smile as he floated a set of crowns up to the newly wed quintet, placing two large crowns onto the Alicorns, and three smaller ones onto the Elements. The priest gave one last shuddering breath as he spoke the one line before he could make things official.

"If there be anypony present that objects to these ponies being wed in holy matrimony, please speak now, or forever hold your peace." After a second there came a loud boom as the doors to the throne room were ripped away and flung backwards into the hall leading to it.

"I OBJECT!" Screwball shouted as she strolled into the room with an evil snicker. Everypony in the room gasping at the interruption of the royal wedding taking place.

"The horror! THE HORROR!" One pony shouted before passing out onto the floor beneath the pew she was sitting at.

"Oh come now, it isn't everyday you worthless pieces of flesh and bone get to see a royal wedding get interrupted by a God." She chuckled.

"You're no God Screwball, You're a Demi-God ad best, and that is because I created you." Discord spoke up as he stepped forward to in front of Midnight and his ladies.

"SHUT UP! I AM a God, and I will prove it by wiping everypony in this room and the face of the planet out of existence!" She screamed as the whole castle began to shake violently.

"Guards! Operation Gallant Knight commence!" Midnight shouted causing the words to quickly spread, in return causing every unicorn guards horn to light up as a massive teleportation of every citizen within Canterlot had been made, transporting them to a safe location. The only ponies left within the castle now were a few unicorn guard, along with the rest of the royal guard, it's captains, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Midnight, and the elements of harmony.

"I had a feeling this would happen today Screwball, and I cam prepared." Midnight grinned as his horn lit up making his tuxedo vanish into thin air and quickly being replaced by his royal regalia which exploded into life as flames began to flow from it. Celestia stepping up as well as Luna as they too did the same, their dresses vanishing only to be replaced by a new set of regalia that had been forged for them for battle. Each set consisting of less detail, but giving off far more magical protection than their prior sets.

The Elements were next as they stepped up, their regalia powering up and making their dresses vanish to reveal their elements around their necks, and Twilight's resting on her head.

Screwball gave a surprised expression as she spoke out. "All of this, just for me?" She giggled before it turned into a sinister snarl causing the castle to shake violently. "You shouldn't have!"

As she finished speaking, the last three elemental ponies she had helped to create, entered into the room. Steel taking up a position to Screwball's left with Kindle by his side, and Ice taking up the position to Screwball's right. All of them in a stance ready to strike.

"I think it's time to finish this fight, once, and for all." Screwball laughed as they all bolted toward each other.
