After leaving the library, Flame would travel with Dash to her cloud home, while Blade would head to Sweet Apple Acres with AJ. Buckler had stayed with Twilight at the library for the night as well. Although his intentions were clear, Twilight couldn't help but pick his brain about the recent events.

"So tell me Buck, Why stay with me to find a cure for your condition? I could manage on my own." Twilight smiled to him as they continued searching through some of the more ancient texts within the library.

"Well my dear, I figured that this would be a good chance to study some tome's together. As you may have noticed from the three of Midnight's personalities, I am the intellectual one, and not surprisingly a unicorn as well." He smiled down to her as they continued looking through the books.

"The others did seem to be rather......." She trailed off.

"Stupid? Quick to react? Hot headed, so to speak." He chuckled.

"Well, if you want to be blunt about it." She giggled. "Don't you feel bad about speaking about your other selves like that though?"

"Not in the least, I admit that I do have some rather questionable qualities as a whole, and more so as a separate entity from being split into thirds. But that does not mean I would lie about who or what I am. I'm content with knowing that as a whole, I am a great pony, as a third of my former self, not so much." He sighed, looking rather dejected.

"Now don't go and beat yourself up, you may be a shadow of your former self, but that doesn't mean you have become a bad pony. You only carry the qualities of your intellectual side now instead of your whole personality. Don't ever think that just because you lost part of yourself from this incident that it will make me feel any different from the Alicorn I fell in love with." Twilight smiled softly giving a blush before leaning in and giving him a gentle kiss.

Buck pulled back a little in shock as he looked at her, unable to form words as his mouth moved. "I-I'm rather shocked about your overall reaction to this situation. I.......... I honestly feel relieved that you would still think of me as the same pony, even though I am not." He chuckled.

"Well you are aware of the fact that I fell in love with you for many reasons right? One of the main reasons being your thirst for knowledge and sheer intellect." She said as her blush began to grow wider, slowly engulfing her head.

"The same from my point of view my dear. I love to sit down with somepony and have an intellectual conversation on just about any subject. Finding those who have that ability however, are far and few between. I was just lucky enough to find a gem in the rough within this small town." He smiled down to her only to make Twilight cover her face as she continued blushing profusely.

"Stop it........ I'm nopony special." She giggled.

"Your right, your not special." He smiled causing her to gawk for a moment before he continued. "You are a once in a lifetime catch." He smiled seeing her entire body erupt in a blush before he moved in, giving her a passionate kiss.

After a few minutes in a makeout session they broke the kiss giving a slight pant. Buck was the first to speak.

"As much as I would like for this to continue, we do have some research to attend to." He chuckled.

"Are you sure?" She smiled back to him giving a lustful expression.

"AHEM! Uh, I suppose that we could resume in the morNING!?" Was all that was said before Twilight pounced.

As Blade walked with AJ back to the farm from the library, they had decided to strike up a conversation to pass the time.

"Thanks fer letting meh stay with ya AJ, ah just don't feel right sticking with the others and not at least being able teh pull mah own weight for room'n'board." He chuckled while thinking back to the earlier situation.

"Not a prob Night...... ah mean Blade. But would ya mind answering ah question?" AJ asked while looking over to him.

"Ah'm guessing you were gonna ask'bout mah dialect." He chuckled seeing her nod. "Well, in short, when ah was a human. Ah grew up'round a lot of folks who spoke more southern than anything. Ah talked like that up through highschool til ah moved away fer college. When ah was in college, mah proffesors always told meh teh speak more clear like. Over the ten years ah went teh school, they drove it in meh teh speak like ah city slicker. Ah guess being stripped into a third of my former self just took away that intellectual beating ah recieved teh change the way ah spoke." He laughed. "Ah feel a might better as well. Not being mah smart bookwormy self is refreshing ya know? Not alway thinking bout everything like ah used teh. Just a simple earth pony ready teh work."

By this point AJ was giving him an oddly dreamy look. During the time she had spent with him she had never known much about his previous life or how he lived. It was a refreshing and very exilirating view on finding out more about her coltfriend slash fiance.

"So ya wana pull yer weight teh have some room'n'board eh?" AJ smirked seeing him nod with a determined look on his face. "Ah still have quite a bit'o farm equipment teh put up since mah brother is sick. Think ya could help with that?"

"No problem. Just point me to what needs to be moved an ah'll have it done lickity split."

After finally arriving at Sweet Apple Acres, the day had almost completely drawn to a close as the sun was just barely over the horizon, and falling fast. AJ pointed to all of the equipment that needed to be placed inside the barn causing Blade to pause for a moment.

"What'cha doing? We need teh hurry afore it gets to dark." AJ spoke up but stopped as she watched Blade move over to a large wagon and began to pull it to the farthest item first, quickly moving to the items side and hefting it up into the wagon. He proceeded with this same process iwth the rest of the equipment until the wagon creeked loudly from the weight. As he loaded the last item onto the wagon he quickly jumped into the reigns and began to dig his hooves into the ground pulling it up to the barn. After a few minutes of this the wagon came to a stop inside the barn just before some snow began to fall from the cloud covered sky.

AJ trotted up to the barn just as he put the brakes on the wagon and placed a scotch under the wheels to keep it from rolling away. He stopped though as he saw AJ staring at him from the mouth of the barn.

"What?" He asked before cocking a brow.

"How in tarnation didja pull all that inteh the barn?" She spoke in shock as she now noticed how thick his build and size was. He wasn't as tall as Midnight now, just a few hands higher than her brother, and almost twice as thick in muscle mass. She also noticed how his hooves look different as well, being more shaggy just above the hoof while still being trimmed to perfection. After a moment he gave a short sharp whistle to garner her attention.

"Come on back teh realtiy sugar." He chuckled seeing her shake herself from her stupor. "And teh answer yer question, its all in the hips." He chuckled before wiggling his flank at her as he passed by. "So ah take it that's all the work that needs done for tehnight eh?" he spoke up again as she turned to him and quickly trotted up to his side as they entered the house.

"Yea, now how'bout dinner. Ah'm sure ah could rustle ya up something." AJ smiled as they headed into the kitchen.

"Ah am ah might hungry. Wouldn't happen teh have a apple pie or two left over from the market place wouldja?" He smiled as he sat down at the table giving a hopeful expression.

"Actually, Granny Smith jes finished a few fer tomar's day in the market. Yes welcome to one er two if'n ya like, jes lemme heatem up right quick." She smiled as she pulled a couple pies from the fridge and popped them into the oven.

"Sure thang." He chuckled as he sat back in his seat smiling as he watched AJ move about the kitchen before hearing the soft clip clop of tiny hooves. He turned his head to the side seeing Applebloom trot into the kitchen, but stopped as she looked up to him.

"Hello.......... who'er you?" She asked while looking the pony over.

"Don't rec'o'nize yer own uncle sweetheart? Don't blame ya. Ah have gone through a might big change." He chuckled seeing her eyes light up.

"Uncle?!" She spoke up, smiling at him before leaping up and into his arms. "WOW! Yer an earth pony, an ya even speak like us." Applebloom giggled loudly as he tossed her into the air playfully, catching her and setting her back dawn before continuing.

"Yea, Twi had a might big malfunction with a spell an it split me up inteh three ponies. One from each race." He smiled sheepishly.

"I HAVE THREE UNCLES?!" She squeaked out loudly.

"Yea, purty much fer the time being, til Twi can fix us anyway." He chuckled.

"AWESOME! Wait........ I bet scootaloo and Sweetie Belle will have a cow when they find out. Who are the other uncles staying with?" Applebloom spoke up in wonder.

"Flame is with Dash, Buck is with Twi, and me with yer sis." He smiled but stopped as he noticed the confused expression on Appleblooms face.

"Who?" She asked.

"Thats right, ah fergot teh tell ya that we all got new, temporary names til this all blows over. Mah name is Blade, the pegasus pony of Midnight is Flame, and the unicorn part is Buckler." He smiled down to her seeing her smile back at the names.

"Cool. Ah can't wait teh tell the girls tomorah." She giggled before sitting down at the table just as AJ pulled the pies from the oven and setting them onto the table to cool for a minute.

After a few minutes of chatting, the pie had been served and eaten along with a few mugs of apple juice. Applebloom had made her way back upstairs for the night as it was already late. The two other ponies cleaned the dishes before heading into the living room. Blade laying down on the couch just as AJ was heading to the stairs.

"Now what'er ya'll doing there? Get yer flank a movin an get teh bed." AJ spoke up while cocking a brow at him.

"Parden? Ah figgered since ah wasn't mahself ah'd stick teh the couch fer the night. No reason teh expect teh bunk with mah mare if'n ah aint mahself. Just good mannered'n'all. He smirked.

"Ah that's a bunch o'hooey and ya know it. Jes cause ya ain't whole dun mean ya aint welcome in meh bed. Sides, ya ain't as big as ya was afore. Ah'll have plenty'o space in bed now. Unless o'course ya wana freeze down here? Supposed teh get cold tehnight. Having another pony teh snuggle'd be a might nice." AJ smirked nodding up the stairs.

Blade rose from the couch giving a smile as he followed the orange earth pony up the stairs and into her room. Both hopping into bed and snuggling up to one another before turning out the lights.

Dash and Flame left the library in a hurry, both giving each other a smirk before bolting into the sky as fast as they could toward Dash's home in the clouds. They had given each other a cocky stare in a silent conversation. Daring each other for a race.

Rainbow Dash came to a quick stop as she landed onto the walkway into her cloud home, taking in deep breathes as she watched Flame quickly approaching and landing near her.

"Bout time slow poke, and don't give me that enjoying the view excuse, I can tell you tried to beat me here." Dash grinned to the out of breath pegasus as he took in several deep breaths to revitalize himself.

"Blah blah blah, ya won alright. There, I said it." He snorted in annoyance. "I can't believe when I was whole I used magic so often to increase my speed up all the time. I'm really out of shape." He chuckled.

"That's cool, I'll make sure to get you to train with me to get those wings in shape." Dash smirked again seeing him cock a brow.

"Really now? What kind of training did you have in mind?" He grinned mischievously as he slowly trotted around her.

"O-HO! It's gonna be that way is it?" She laughed before opening the door to her cloud home.

"What? I didn't say anything. Your the one thinking naughty thoughts." He chuckled seeing her blush before a sly grin fell across her face.

"I didn't say anything though. Your the first one to mention something naughty." She giggled seeing him stop and blush slightly before walking toward the couch.

"Bah, so what, I'm the fastest stallion in the sky. Can't I have a little fun every now and then?" He smirked before plopping down onto the couch.

"You can, but I would prefer if it was in a bed instead of on a couch." She smirked while nodding to the stairs.

Flame cocked a brow expecting a prank but stopped as he watched her walk up the stairs while swinging her tail back and forth teasingly. "Oh I think you are about to regret that decision Ms. Skittles." He chuckled under his breath before trotting up the stairs after her.
