After the day had come to a close and all the decorations had been placed in town. Midnight went back through town one final time to make sure everything was in place.

"Looks like everything will be very well illuminated, pumpkins on each doorstep, a dozen or so hay pyramids, spider (shudder) webs and fake spiders placed all around. glowing orange lights on ponies homes that will be giving out candy and other treats, and finally a magically illuminated walkway for each family and children to walk down to each home to be safe. I must say, this world takes far better care of its people than my home world. Doing something as elaborate as this would have taken a lot of money as well as many kind people to help out." He gave a disheartened sigh thinking back to his home world and what shape it had gotten into during the year he had spent in this world. Who knows, it could have gotten better, or maybe far worse. Only time would tell.

He turned around heading toward Sweet Apple Acres for the night. He had arranged a schedule with his three ladies so that he could spend certain days of the week with each of them while having a day to himself as well. The only problem with this was that Applejack had her family to deal with, Rarity with her sister, and Twilight with Spike. They had all set up times to spend together as a couple but some of those times never panned out as well as they had thought. With AJ, he had been caught once already with her by Big Macintosh who made a quick retreat but had still been noticed. Sweetie had heard some 'strange noises' coming from Rarity's room at one point, while Spike would always walk in just before anything would ever get started. Midnight's luck over the past few months had not gotten any better either. He was constantly being targeted by stallions because he always flirted with every mare that came across his path. On several occasions he would end up fighting while in others he would apologize stating that he wasn't aware that they had a stallion of their own and would honor the stallions request to stop with the flirting. As time went on though things would always change leaving him to his old habits, but always making a mental note about the mares that had come across his path and the stallions they called their own. Tiring yes, unpleasant, definitely, hard on the loins, you bet your sweet ass.

As he arrived at Sweet Apple Acres though, he was welcomed by the sweet smell of apple pie. He took in a deep breath trying to see where the smell was coming from, following it to the side of the farmhouse to eventually locate the said pie on the windowsill of the the kitchen. After taking in another whiff of the freshly baked pie he would then noticed the Granny Smith was standing in the kitchen giving him an odd look. He gave a sheepish smile seeing her give him a smirk.

"Why don'tcha come in sonny, that pie should be ready teh eat in a bit." She smiled as she trotted to the backdoor of the house to let the Alicorn in.

"Sorry bout that Granny, I smelled this pie from quite a ways down the path to the farmhouse. I'd be surprised if half the town isn't drooling right now." He chuckled as he stepped inside.

"Aw now don't get this ol'ponies hopes up. Mah cooking ain't that great." She blushed a bit.

"Granny Smith, your cooking is fantastic. Far better than my own. I have never had a better home cooked meal in my life." He smiled down to the green earth pony.

"Well thankyee sonny, it does my ol'heart good to hear such praise'bout mah cookin." She gave a contented smile before giving the big Alicorn a hug. "Now get on upstairs, Applejack said you was a coming over fer the night. Ah'm so glad she met'cha. That poor girl spends all'er time working the farm an never gets out teh try and find'er somepony teh call'er own. Ya make me proud teh call ya part of the Apples." She smiled once again to the Alicorn as he nodded back, trotting into the living room as he made his way upstairs to AJ's room.

"AJ, you in?" He knocked gently on the door to announce himself.

"Yea sugarcube, come on it." She spoke up.

As Midnight entered the room he couldn't help but stop and gawk seeing AJ in her costume for Nightmare Night. She was decked out in a sheriff's outfit along with her stetson and a badge attached to it. Her costume consisted of a brown vest with a badge, and a pair of chaps with a belt holding them up. The chaps being bare in the back and up around her cutiemark. A pair of hoofcuffs (handcuffs) in her mouth as she wiggled her brows at him.

"You had better not be doing that just to tease me." Midnight smirked at the orange earth pony.

"Aw, come on now. Can't ah have a bit'o'fun teasing mah stallion?" She pouted after tossing the hoofcuffs onto the bed.

"Well............" He trailed off looking down to the pleading eyes of his love. "I guess some teasing is ok." He smirked giving her a quick kiss before she shoved him onto the bed. "HEY!" He spoke out in shock for a moment only to get lassoed and hogtied.

"So then." AJ smirked. "Ah think ah just might tease ya bit tehnight." She smirked before closing her bedroom door and locking it. A grinning Alicorn waiting for her tied to her bed.

The sun broke over the horizon just as the crow from the farm's rooster sounded off signalling the start of the day. Midnight turned slightly from the annoying alarm clock known as the rooster to see AJ snuggled up to him. Her mane and tail fallen freely about as it was no longer held up by a band. Leaning down he nuzzled her face gently to wake her, she giving a soft groan before opening her eyes.

"Morning sleeping beauty." He smiled softly to her causing a slight blush to escape her.

"Now don't y'all try sweet talking me none." *yawn* "Yain't making me late fer morning chores'n'breakfast." She chuckled before giving the Alicorn a kiss.

After pulling himself from the bed with AJ, they would give a small stretch before heading downstairs to start breakfast.

After breakfast AJ headed back upstairs to get into costume for the day before following Midnight into town. They arrived to see many ponies about while in costume as well. Although it was just around ten in the morning, the town would not wait to start having fun for that day as many festivities had been sat up for the day. Game's of all kinds along with several booths to distribute candied apples, popcorn, and many other things.

The two ponies made it to Rarity's boutique just in time to see the door open and the ivory pony coming out of the door in costume

"Hey Morticia." Midnight smirked catching her attention.

"Midnight darling, it's about time you showed up, Hurry now and get into costume." She smiled giving a giggle.

"Ya already got a costume? What is it?" AJ asked while cocking a brow.

"You'll see." He grinned before entering the shop, several minutes passed by before he returned, stepping outside only to cause AJ to gawk.

"Dang!" She grinned. "Ya look jus like............" She stopped for a moment before a blush burst across her face. "RARITY! AH CAIN'T BELIEVE YA TOLDIM!!!" She shouted at Rarity now noticing what her costume was.

"Told me what?" He asked giving a smirk.

"I didn't tell him anything darling. I simply made the costume for him so that we would match for Nightmare Night. You know I would never say anything to anypony if you requested my silence." She giggled looking to the shocked earth pony.

"Uh............. er........" AJ began to trail off trying to hide her embarrassment from the two but was failing badly.

"So what did Rarity supposedly tell me?" Midnight grinned pressing forward to AJ who just kept blushing.

"The beans have been spilled AJ, you know you will have to tell him. That or I could if you want." Rarity giggled watching the look of horror spread across AJ's face.

"She has a crush on Gomez." Sweetiebelle chimed in causing AJ to go completely white in horror, then the others to giggle silently.

"SWEETIE!? How in the hay did you know?!" AJ yelled in surprise.

"I was listening to you and my sis talking the other night. Sorry, I didn't know it was a secret." She pouted causing AJ to sigh.

"It's alright Sweetie, no harm done." AJ sighed as her face burned ten shades of red. looking back to Midnight in costume.

"Alright you three. enough chit chat, lets go play some games." Midnight spoke up breaking their train of though before Sweetiebelle jumped up and onto her uncles back with a small bag.

"That your treat bag Sweetie?" Midnight asked as they started toward the marketplace to play some games.

"I have my costume in it right now, but yes its my treat bag." She smiled.

"Why aren't you in costume?" He asked while looking back to her.

"Well I was going to wait until the others were with me so we could all get ready together." She smiled innocently.

"Uh huh." He smirked. "Are they supposed to meet you somewhere?" He asked again.

"Yea, they should be waiting in the marketplace for me. OH! There they are now." Sweetiebelle smiled as she hopped from the Alicorns back to the ground and running up to meet her friends.

"Scootaloo, Applebloom, do you have your costumes?" She asked with a wide smile.

"Got mah costume right'ere." Applebloom smiled pulling a small pale from her side.

"Me to." Scootaloo smiled pulling a large bag with her costume in it from her back.

"Alright, let's go and get ready." Sweetie smiled as the three fillies trotted off leaving the adults to themselves.

"Those three are just to cute." Midnight chuckled watching the fillies run off.

"Yes but they are quite the hoof full." Rarity sighed. "But ever since they received their cutiemarks the town has been silently thanking Celestia to the lack of destruction from those three."

"I can understand that. They did have a habit of destroying everything in sight at one point just to get their marks." Midnight chuckled.

As the three ponies trotted about trying their luck at some games and taking in a few items from the food booths. The crusaders had put their costumes on and had made it back in a short time. To Midnight's surprise they were dressed as several superheros from his home world.

"Awesome costume's girls." Midnight spoke up with a big smile across his face as he looked down to the three fillies.

"I'm Wonder Mare!" Shouted Sweetie

"Ah'm Super Mare!" Shouted Applebloom.

"And I'm Hawk Mare!" Shouted Scootaloo.

"And together we are, the super hero trio!" They shouted in unison, receiving a few cheers from around them.

"Are we ready to get some sweets girls!?" Shouted Scootaloo causing the other two fillies to shout out in unison.

"YEA!" before bolting off down the street.

"Ah feel sorry for all the ponies those three get candy from." AJ spoke up with a giggle.

"Why is that?" Midnight spoke up looking to her.

"Every year it's the same thang. If they don't get a goo haul from certain house's those three will usually prank them for a week after. Been that way since they got together'bout four years back." AJ sighed. "The ponies in town know teh givem a might large hoof full'o candy just teh avoid the aftermath." She chuckled.

"Sound like me when I was a kid." Midnight laughed.

"You'll have to tell us about it sometime darling, but for the moment, let's go and get Twilight. I'm sure she is ready by now." Rarity smiled as she lead the other two toward the library.

Upon arriving at the library, Rarity made her way in quickly before the others. "Twilight, darling. Are you here?"

"I'm still getting into costume, I'll be out in a minute." She shouted just as the others came into the library.

"I wonder what Twilight will be this year?" Rarity asked while rubbing her chin in thought.

"Heh, her costume is a little risque but still suits her." Midnight chuckled.

"Ah hope it ain't to bad, we gots a lotta foals runnin round town tehnight." AJ spoke up but stopped as they heard a door close from the back room.

"I had to change my costume at the last minute because I was told it was too revealing and may cause some problems." Twilight sighed before walking into the room in her new costume." So I modified my costume to this. What do you think?"

"Twi?! Wow.......... just wow!" Midnight spoke up while looking at Twilight's newly modified costume. She had changed her knee high socks to some thigh high fishnet stockings and knee high boots. One purple and the other red. Her skirt was now a blood splattered white with a black belt. Her white button up shirt now had the sleeves trimmed off and done up to make them a little poofy along with a tightly fit red and purple girdle around her mid section. She wore two gloves that went up both of her forelegs that were purple on the hoof then red on the arm and reversed on the other arm. Her mane had been split into two single ponytails going outward from the sides of her head, and to top it off she had a white nurses hat adorning her head. Across her eyes rested a black mask that overlaid the white face paint she had applied along with some blush and a ruby red lipstick.

"You guys like it? I'm Harley Equine." She smiled before her horn lit up to float out an over sized mallet to her side.

Midnight stood there just staring at her in her new costume. He would never admit it but this costume was by far much better than the other she had previously tried on to tease Midnight with. The girls stood there for a minute waiting for Midnight to stop staring but didn't.

"Ugh, Midnight, snap out of it." *WHAPSQUEAK* Twilight groaned before walloping him with the over sized squeaky mallet causing the girls to giggle loudly and Midnight to shake himself back to reality.

"HUH! WHA!? Oh, sorry Twi." He smiled sheepishly.

"No problem, let's go, I haven't had breakfast and was looking to get a candy apple or two." Twilight giggled as she passed them, heading out the front door to the library.

As they left the library however, they didn't noticed a certain pony hiding high above them in the clouds, giving an evil snicker and rubbing her hooves together before pulling a large rifle from her side to in front of her. She slowly looked through the site as the crosshairs came onto Midnight. She let out an evil chuckle before pulling the trigger.
