It's okay, VISION-KING. I am not upset, I was explaining to you how the Discord Staff works, that's all. BUT...I may use the Elements to restore reality, just keep memories. If you got any other suggestions, fine. As long as they work; I will use one way to get reality back to normal after all.

 

Chapter 8: The Pony Asylum

 

The figure chuckles madly as she tied up the droid, feeding him metal cupcakes while taunting, "Enjoying your cupcake, Droidie?"

Droid dryly answers, "Death is the only thing that awaits you."

"Oh, you are soo funny!" Before the figure can do anymore to the Droid she cringes a bit (she can feel that when her friends are in danger). She says, "My friends and Goldie are in danger."

The figure puts her weapons away and she says to the droid, "I wish I can stay but..." The figure stares at where Megan was, "I have matters to deal with."

She then heads to where the insane asylum is and any bad guy in her path would wish that they were never in her path. The figure says with anger, "I will not let you take the lives of my friends."

We can see her heading there and behind her was a trail of allot of dead bad guys on the ground...

At a table, a book opens up as a familiar voice narrates happily, "Poor Megie's family were killed in a fire. Megie is the only one who managed to save herself."

 

We see the book opening to a picture of Megan herself.

 

"Of course, the failure to do anything to save them made her guilt grow stronger every day; Aww, how super duper sad!"

 

We see Spike with Megan and her friends while the voice continues.

 

"It eventually sent her into the local asylum where my old buddy Spike, along with my other friends, one day brought Megan back to Equestria, chide by her subconsciousness and now a chaotic nightmare for even Discord to enjoy."

 

The page now shows a corrupted Celestia.

 

"To save Equestria, Megan must face Princess Celestia and destroy her...or whatever darkness is corrupting her as well as a way to save her sanity. Hee hee, not that I mind to tell you the truth. Why, with the princess gone, I can take over Equestria where I can have fun parties all year long!"

 

The page was turned as we see Megan and her friends looking at the dead Spike in sadness along with a pissed off Lorcan leaving.

 

"Spike has been taken care of with Lorcan leaving the group. That Rarity obsessive gem-eating little lizard along with his short brother won't get in the way of my plan any further."

 

The next page shows Megan and her friends in the places where they were before while in their different size.

 

"Megan has already made it through the forest part of Equestria. That super meanie Gilda has not only failed to stop her and her friends, but she got so intoxicated with pepper that the griffin sneezed her brains right out."

 

We now see a page of Grogar roaring.

 

"Not even that pompous and powerful Grogar was unable to stop her progress."

 

We now see the next page showing the Flutter Province with the voice continuing.

 

"In the Flutter Province, after Dashie was revealed to be the Rainbow Droid and after Megan and her friends has putting Sir Spell Nexus to rest, I brought all my friends here to my domain."

 

The final page shows Megan and her friends in some sort of maze.

 

"Now Megan is to be found in the crazy funhouse; Now let then, let's see how she makes her way to Rover, Spot and Fido AKA the Diamond Dogs. Maybe my goodie good friends can join the real Dashie and me for Cupcakes..."

Megan and her friends groan as they begin to wake up from their hit from before. Everything was dizzy until their eyes begin to focus clearly. Nyx groans, "Where are we?"

"Not back in the Flutterpony Province, that's for sure!" Golden Heart exclaims to his friends with a frown on her face.

"I see a pendulum up above...and some picture of a pink pony." Megan said as she saw a picture hanging on the ceiling above the gang. It's of a female pink Earth pony with dark pink curly mane and tail, bright blue eyes and two blue and one yellow balloons marking on her flank. Her name is Pinkie Pie.

"Pinkie Pie," Rarity asks in concern while glancing at the picture. "That means that she could be here..."

Just then, the group saw an insane pony walking on the wall, or so it seemed. Apple Bloom asks in surprise, "What 'de hay?" Another insane pony, which is a Clockwork Robot, looks up at a clock which broke.

Elsewhere, three dogs known as Rover, Spot and Fido are working, keeping the peace so to speak, getting paid for doing so in gems. Fido himself chuckles, "Couldn't believe that pink pony spot has gotten them."

"Yes, they're captured but pink pony didn't tell us what she was going to do to them; hopefully something creepy," Rover comments to his fellow Diamond Dog. Just then a clock is heard breaking. "What is that?!"

"Blasted clocks, always breaking," Spot groans a bit.

"I've have enough of this."

Megan and her friends find themselves strapped to a table while turning sideways. Alpha Prime demands, "What's going on?!"

"I demand to know as well!" Sweetie exclaims; Just then a familiar unicorn teleports near a rage box, "Twilight!"

"Glad to see you, mommy," Nyx exclaims to her mother happily.

"Look straight ahead or askance, whichever way you choose." Twilight explains to the group mysteriously. "You must always look in the right direction."

"So right then," Ed ask Twilight in confusion.

"Not what I mean."

"She means we must choose a path." Megan explains to the Changeling clearly.

"But isn't our right direction to our right?" Fred asks his friend, getting more confused.

"Let's just go to the left path." Luna insists as the gang got themselves free from the table and head to the left. A Clockwork Automation attacks the group before the Alicorn destroy it.

"So what shall we do now?" Apple Bloom asks the others in concern and worry.

"We smash the clocks." Alpha Prime said as he smash the first clock while Megan destroys the other one. "Whoever said that you mustn't kill time, haven't seen this hell!"

"Come on." Megan said as she begins moving onward. "We must get out of this asylum."

The group goes to where the first Meta Essence was at where a Phantasmagoria attacks. Megan, Alpha Prime and Golden Heart destroy it. The human girl grabs the Meta Essence.

"Much better," Megan said with a sigh of relief, getting regenerated.

"Come on!" Nyx exclaims. The group goes over to where the next automaton is at. The little filly Alicorn blast it with her magic while Rarity kicks it, sending the thing into pieces.

"My goodness, these things are pretty barbaric." Rarity said with a frown.

The group goes to two Meta Essences. Another robot came out to attack but the Changelings destroy it. Megan's group even grabs the Will Essence.

Megan's group now goes to a direction where another Phantasmagoria is at. Megan said, "I shall deal with this." The girl quickly slashes at the creature though two more appears. The Cutie Mark Crusaders and Nyx use their attacks and cards to destroy them.

The group saw another clock with Sweetie smashing the thing. Now the gang left and ran downward and round the corner, dealing with two more robots which attacks them. Luna destroys one of the robots with Fred destroying the other.

Next the gang headed to a wall where another robot appears, making Scootaloo exclaims with a frown, "Oh man!" Alpha Prime first a laser at the robot, destroying it. Another robot appears where some Jacks are at.

"I got this one." Megan said as she attacks the last robot, destroying it. "Perhaps I'm better off in the damn asylum."

"Shows what you know." Golden Heart said to Megan who grabs the Jacks. "You don't deserve to be there, my friend."

Twilight teleport into the area as she speaks to the group, "The simple game can turn nasty in a hurry. Never play alone."

Twilight appears as Alpha Prime notices an exit, making him say, "There's the exit of the maze. Let's get going."

Mean and her friends heads off to the exit of the maze and headed into it. Megan sighs while saying to herself, "Equestria...Ponyland, what happened to you?"

The gang goes through the tunnel and finding the Phantasmagoria in the end which they kill quickly. They tunnel begins to move until they find a new location. Just then they find allot of dead guards.

A figure is seen in the shadows as she says, "You will find Pinkie Pie where sweets were once made. Find it and enter a door that goes down into the earth. But be careful she is not herself these days and one more thing, the Alicorn with a Gold Heart as his cutie mark is a friend and my friend as well and yours as well. Good luck my friends."

Then the figure was gone in a blink of an eye. Megan looks puzzled but as she ask Golden Heart, "Golden Heart? Do you know her?"

"Long story but I see a door in the earth up ahead." Golden Heart said as he saw a door up ahead. "Come on."

The group enters the first hall, going to different rooms with clocks. Once they are all destroyed, a door blows up, leaving a room without it. Apple Bloom said, "All right, back 'ta 'de tunnel."

The group enters the tunnel, dodging spiders while killing them. Unknown to them, a security camera is watching them. Three familiar Diamond Dogs are in another watching the image of the camera on their TV, looking worried.

"Yikes, pink pony isn't going to like this!" Spot exclaims to his fellow Diamond Dogs in worry.

"So who's going to tell her?" Rover asks Spot and Fido with a frown. He notices them staring at him. "Oh, so I have to?!"

There's another room with some sort of kitchen nearby. A familiar pony came in, with a creepy smile on her face. It's Pinkie Pie alright, but she's wearing an outfit that looks like certain cutie marks, a necklace with horn and Pegasus wings.

"Well, time for some Cupcakes! Oh, I just love a good party." Pinkie said with a mad look on her face.

Pinkie looks around in the room and bounces over to a lever, pulling it with her mouth. The floor opens up as a table pops out in the middle of the room. The pony hums while setting up chairs at the table. Anything for her guests...

"All right, gotta get the drinks." Pinkie said as she goes over to some sort of drink mixer with mechanical legs then taps it before pointing to a direction. "All right, wake up, drink mixer! Hop to it! We got a party for our guests! Come on!"

The drink mixer glances at some sort of strange contraption that has a pipe, wheel a screw on top and the sink nozzle while shivering. The machine glances back to Pinkie, shaking its head in hesitation.

"Come on, get going, go!" Pinkie snaps at the drink mixer impatiently while removing its lid.

The teapot groans and hops to the floor, hesitating then goes over to the nozzle. It then rose up to allow water to pour into the thing.

Pinkie smiles as she put a cup to where the other chair was, saying, "Perfect. One last thing to go with the cupcakes," The pony hops over to the cupboard and look through it. "Okie dokie lokie; 'Convallaria'...'Laburnum'...'Cicuta virosa'...here we go; 'Belladonna'!"

Pinkie takes a jar labeled 'Belladonna' while the drinker mixer came back to the table, almost slipping off. The Earth pony then pours the ingredient in there before tossing the bottle aside. She then pours some kool aid into the drinker mixer before closing the lid happily and madly.

"Hee hee; this is fun! And once we're done with the kool aid, I can help make some more...'Cupcakes'." Pinkie said with an insane look on her face.

Once the machine's lid is closed, it returns to the table while Pinkie Pie follows the thing. Then the machine jumps onto the table while pouring the kool-aid. The mad pony then takes out a pocket watch that has handles moving around like mad. Interestingly enough, she knows what time it is.

"Huh. Megan and my friends are running late. I don't like it when folks are late to my parties...then again, when's the last time that I was ever worried about that? I don't want my friends to be late!" Pinkie exclaims with a frown. Just then the bell rang. Something is calling her. The pony bounce over to a tube and open it, "Hey there!"

"Uh, it's Rover, Miss Pink Pony." Rover's voice is heard on the table. "And uh..."

"Come on, silly doggie! Don't keep me in suspense! Go ahead!"

"Ahem, that Megan girl and her friends have escaped and are on our way up here now to our doorstep. What shall we do?"

"Aww, that's easy! Megan's a bit iffy so don't let her fool you!" Pinkie explains to Rover with a groan. "Just interrupt or do something! I'm heading up right now!"

With that, Pinkie opens a pair of stairs heading up, bouncing up them happily. She can't wait to reunite with Megan and her friends...their number just came up so it's time to have a party that is to die for...

Megan and her friends enter a room, which is big and lot of room. Just then, they saw three Diamond Dogs spotting them. Rarity frowns while snapping, "You three again!"

"Look, Rover, Spot, it's Miss Rarity and what her name from the Neurotics' Ward!" Fido exclaims to his pals while pointing to Rarity and Megan.

"Yeah, nurse's favorite lunatic!" Spot laughs madly. "Scrawny ain't she? Who let her out? They will blame us, probably!"

Rover nods with a sinister smile while saying, "Yes...human girl will need more medicine...strong stuff, even!"

"So she got anything to eat?"

"I doubt it." Fido grunts a bit while glancing at Megan in amusement. "The girl rarely finishes her grub at the asylum."

"Yes, if she had any meat on her, the girl would make a delectable dish!" Rover adds with a laugh, much to the disgust of the heroes.

"Ugh, you mutts are even more disgusting!" Rarity exclaims to the Diamond Dogs in disgust and anger.

"Right, even we find that disgusting as well." Fred complains about what the Diamond Dogs just said.

Twilight appears next to her friends while Megan snaps furiously to the Diamond Dogs, "Despicable, grotesque, and smelly mutts. I'll fill your bellies all right!"

"You know what they say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall." Twilight said to her friends with a shrug.

"Spare us the platitude." Luna snaps to Twilight impatiently. "Can you give us any useful advice?"

"Here's one: use their size against them."

With that, the next fight starts as the Diamond Dogs, sending out mini versions of themselves much to the annoyance and disgust of the heroes. Sweetie exclaims, "I don't think I wanna know how you did that."

"Move it!" Nyx exclaims as Spot throws a gas bomb at the group but they move out of the way in time. Fido madly ground thump towards the heroes.

The Diamond Dogs laughs madly, quickly they got their enemies on the run but Rarity took out the jack bomb, snapping, "Time to shut these bitches up!"

Rarity throw the bomb right at the Diamond Dogs, making them yelps as they got hit by the explosion. They groan and got back up. Rover snaps, "Ugh, and I thought dealing with white pony's whining was annoying!"

Megan and her friends tries their best to attack the Diamond Dogs, but most of them minus Rarity and the Changelings got knock down by the mini versions. Spot laughs madly, "Ha ha ha ha! You little ponies are taken care of! Plus, no whining involved!"

"Oh you wanted whining? I will give you whining!" Fred exclaims with a smirk. He suddenly transforms into Rarity and spoke in her voice, "Oooh, this place is a dump! Why don't you ever clean it? And where's my lunch? I didn't get it yet!"

"Ugh! No, anything but that!"

Rarity, smirking, follows along, whining, "And the ponies here are very mean! Why can't you tell them to treat us better? And where's my mint? Don't I at least get some AC in my cell?"

"No, stop! Stop whining!" Rover exclaims to Rarity in agony as he and his fellow Diamond Dogs covers their ears, but she and Fred kept on whining.

"But we can't help it! We're bored!" The two heroes whine to the Diamond Dogs. Even the miniature versions groan and let go of the others, holding their ears.

Ed transforms into Rarity, whining, "Why don't we get visitors? Oooh, the straps on our table is tight! Couldn't you loosen it? And this place has no pool or spa; why must we stay here?!"

"Enough!" Fido exclaims in agony some more.

"Stop whining!" Rover exclaims to Rarity and the Changelings in horror. The whining is too much for the Diamond Dogs.

"But we thought you wanted whining!" Rarity and the Changelings whine some more, making the Diamond Dogs, big and small, groans loudly.

"No more, no more!" Spot screams as he and the Diamond Dogs rush over to a door and opens it to escape. They can't take any more of this.

"We quit! No gems are worth all this whining!" Rover groans a bit in agreement. He has to get out of this hellhole and away from Rarity and the Changelings.

"Wow, good work, sis!" Sweetie giggles happily to her big sister as she and the others came over to Rarity and the Changelings, the latter changed back.

"Well, just because I am a lady, doesn't mean I don't know how to take care of myself." Rarity said with a pleased look on her face.

"Good work to you two Changelings." Alpha Prime said to Fred and Ed, making them smile a bit.

"Thanks, we did cool, didn't we?" Ed remarks to Alpha Prime with a proud look.

"Awww, bad timing," A familiar voice complains. The gang turns to see, to their shock, Pinkie in a scary outfit standing on a platform. "Shame, reliable help is hard to find nowadays!"

"Pinkie Pie; is that you?" Nyx ask Pinkie, getting a bit scared by her friend's appearance.

"She looks...not right fer some reason." Apple Bloom said to Pinkie uneasily.

"Awww; you wouldn't say that in the Cupcakes fic!" Pinkie exclaims to Apple Bloom happily, confusing the filly. "Anyway, you're here! Come on, you're just in time for our party! Dashie is waiting just in time for cupcakes!"

Megan frowns at Pinkie while saying, "I prefer to have parties with friends." For some reason, Pinkie's behavior appears to be not so normal at all.

"Well, count me to be among them! Really, honestly, that's the truth, Megie! Oopsie! I almost forgot: you and the truth are not on familiar terms!"

"Pinkie Pie, what are you saying?" Luna ask Pinkie in concern. Something is not right with the holder of the Element of Laughter at all!

"And you would know, Pinkie Pie?" Megan ask Pinkie suspiciously. The girl doesn't like what she is implying either! Plus, the Earth pony looks like she could be Surprise's descendant but her Pegasus friend wouldn't act this weird

"Truth is always bad for anypony too scared of it!" Pinkie remarks to Megan creepily.

"I am not scared of anything!"

"Wrong, Miss Lying Liar Pants! You fear much. For example, a return trip to the asylum...the memories that drove you there. As well as more years in supervised hospitalization...oh yes, you fear much big time! But all of that might be avoided."

"Pinkie Pie! What are you doing?!" Scootaloo ask Pinkie in shock and alarm. "And what did you do to Rainbow Dash?!"

"How," Megan demands to Pinkie puzzled. "What do you mean?"

Pinkie didn't answer right away. Instead she bounces up and down hard. Suddenly the floor begins to shake, much to the group's notice...and it breaks off, causing Megan's group to scream as they fell down to the unknown below.

 

Author's note
Yikes, this isn't good. Just when Megan and her friends has defeated the Diamond Dogs, they reunite with Pinkie Pie who appears to gone crazy...and is out to make cupcakes out of them, literally! In the next chapter, the gang saw how crazy their friend is.

 

Rainbow: (gulps) Especially since she wants to make cupcakes out of me! Damn!

 

Me: Right, we also find out what happened to Applejack and Fluttershy and meets up with Nyx's father Ben Mare and Spitfire. To help their friends especially Rainbow and get the next piece of the Discord Staff, Megan's group must defeat Pinkie Pie, as well as the returning Rainbow Droid, in a gruesome way. Read, review and suggest.

 

This chapter has some bits of reference to 'Cupcakes'.

 

Rarity's whining defeating the Diamond Dogs is a reference to an episode of the actual show.
