I know that Halloween is now over but I still got some fics left to be done of them so I will try to get them done nevertheless.

 

Chapter 9: Cupcakes: Megan Style

 

Megan and her friends wake up, finding themselves in some sort of strange room. The girl asks in concern, "What is this place?"

"Hey there, everyone," Pinkie exclaims happily as the group saw her hopping at her chair at a table. "Come on! Come over, have some cupcakes and drinks?" The group looks a bit suspicious as they came over to the table.

"Well...the cupcakes look a bit safe...my family wouldn't want me to turn down an invite to a party, even by a mad pony."

Cream and the others sat in their chairs while Pinkie sat in hers. As the group begins eating their cupcakes, Rarity mumbles, "Hmmm, something about these cupcakes...taste a bit odd..."

"Right, tell us, where did you get the recipe for these?" Golden Heart asks Pinkie curiously.

"Oh, that's no biggie! I made them myself from the finest ingredients, but with q special one!" Pinkie exclaims to her friends with a smile.

"Really; What kind," Nyx ask while chewing down on her cupcakes.

"Pony parts!"

Megan and her friends yelp and spit out their cupcakes in shock and disgust. The Cutie Mark Crusaders gasps in horror, "Pony parts?!"

"Oh come on, she's kidding...right?" Fred asks Pinkie nervously. "Come on, you're kidding!"

"Nope, I ain't! Some of my pony parts had parts of Gilda...but Megan has parts of Spikey whom I stomped on back in a previous chapter!" Pinkie remarks in a mad look on her face. Megan and her friends gasps in shock and horror. They can't believe what they themselves are hearing!

"You killed Spike!" Megan exclaims to Pinkie in shock and anger.

"Yep!"

"So it's because of you Spike died and Lorcan-one of the very few who understood me, the one who I loved, left us! Left me," Luna cries out to Pinkie in shock. The Earth pony, who was her friend has killed her own and now...

"And now, I'm going to make cupcakes right out of Dashie! As for you all, Megan's number just came up!" Pinkie exclaims evilly. She quickly pulls a lever, causing straps to lock the group in their chairs.

Megan gasps as she saw a buzz saw coming right at her. Luckily Alpha Prime in determination broke free of his strap with his strength then flew over to Megan, saving her in time.

"Megan, you all right," Alpha Prime ask Megan in concern.

"I am now!" Megan exclaims. Just then Pinkie quickly disappears, changing the table into a Boojum. "Free the others, this monster is mine!"

The Alpha Prime nods and frees the others while Megan uses her attack to dispose of it. Apple Bloom exclaims in disbelief, "Ah done don't believe it. Ah thought Pinkie Pie was our friend."

"I just don't know what to think anymore!" Sweetie sobs a bit, horrified to find out that Pinkie Pie has killed their friend Spike and is about to turn them into cupcakes.

"Worst yet, she's going to do the same to Rainbow Dash!" Scootaloo exclaims in horror and sadness, "If she hasn't already."

"Hopefully we can find Rainbow and stop Pinkie...even if we must kill her to do so." Golden Heart said seriously. "Come on."

The group leaves the room, following a path and arriving in a circular room. They go to each side and activate the levers, jumping onto the spinning wheel. The heroes rode it around until they found an opening with Meta Essence.

"Now," Megan said as the group jumps into the room, taking the Essence before entering the door. They climb the path and enter the room.

Twilight's voice spoke up, "Not everything is as it seems here. Some clocks are real, some are fakes."

"I wonder what mommy means." Nyx said a bit puzzled.

"I think we have to break the clocks that are real, but some are fake," Rarity answers her friends thoughtfully.

"But how can we tell that?" Ed asks Rarity, more confused as usual.

"Ever look in a mirror?" Scootaloo spoke up as she glances at a mirror nearby.

"Hey come on! That's not fair, making fun of my appearance like that."

"I mean look in a mirror! Maybe it can give us some clues."

The group looks into the mirror. Luna notices something off in the mirror while saying, "Yes, of course! I think I know what Twilight is talking about now! The clocks that are in the mirrors are there, but there are some that aren't there."

"Oooh, look in a mirror!" Ed exclaims in realization at what Scootaloo means now. "I get it now!"

The heroes work together as they destroy the real clocks. They then jump onto the real platforms to get to the lever, pulling it back jumping back. Megan and her friends jump along the platforms to the right to get to another part of the room.

Megan saw some Meta Essence and takes it while saying, "Phew. Good stuff."

"Now we got to find out where Rainbow Dash is, if she's still alive." Alpha Prime said making Scootaloo yelps a bit in fear, "Oops, sorry Scootaloo."

Megan's group took the left path while destroying the Phantasmagoria that is there, heading to the path further. They arrived at a small room with a hole in the floor and jump down, seeing two spiders that awaits them.

"Get them!" Rarity exclaims as they kill the bug before going into the hallway.

Megan's group gasps as they enter some sort of room where a machine is taking insane ponies and putting them into some sort of machine. The Changelings gasp in horror, "Yipes!"

"What kind of horrible place is this?! And why is Pinkie Pie doing this?!" Nyx ask while trembling in worry.

"I don't know, I really don't," Golden Heart said seriously.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders gasp as they saw two familiar ponies, one is hanging on the wall and the other is strapped to a table. Both of them are robotic but are still ponies. One of them is a orange female Earth pony with green eyes, blonde mane and tail, both in a ponytail, wears only a cowboy hat and has three apples marking on her flank. Her name is Applejack.

The other pony is a pale yellow Pegasus pony with a long pink mane and tail, cyan eyes. Her cutie mark is three butterflies. Her name is Fluttershy.

"Sis," Apple Bloom cries out to her sister.

"Apple Bloom," Nyx exclaims to Fluttershy in worry.

Applejack blinks a bit and saw the group. She smiles while saying, "Apple Bloom, everyone, boy howdy. Hey Fluttershy! Wake up! Our old friends an' some new ones came 'ta save us!"

Fluttershy wakes up a bit then yawns a bit, "Oh...it's our friends with some humans. How nice, I hope they aren't useless." She then begins to snore a bit next to a wall that has the writing, "Your Number Is Next."

"Oh, my dear friends. What has happened to you both?" Luna asks Applejack and Fluttershy sadly.

"Terrible thing, Pinkie done 'dis 'ta us." Applejack explains to her friends, "Mind helping us down?"

"Or give us some cupcakes or snacks...err, if you don't mind?" Fluttershy requests as well meekly.

"Were any of you impolite at the table? Slurping drinks? Eating while chewing?" Megan asks the two ponies curiously. "Go ahead, confess your crimes."

"Yeah, tell us!" Scootaloo insists to Applejack and Fluttershy.

"Nnope; did nothing o' 'de sort, Pinkie has gone plum loco if Ah do say so mahself an' Ah just did," Applejack explains to her friends in concern. "She strapped us here, then cut us done open wit' knives 'ta use our body parts fer her cupcakes!"

"Eeeew," Most of the group exclaims in shock and horror. Pinkie really is using her friends as part for cupcakes!

"But she ain't stopping there; Nnope!"

"How," Alpha Prime asks Applejack, almost scared to do so.

Fluttershy frightfully said, "She turns us into...into these things so she can keep on regrowing our parts and reharvesting us again and again! Pinkie Pie won't let us die!" The sad Pegasus pony sobs some more. "She won't let us die!!!"

"It's okay, it's okay, Fluttershy," Sweetie said to the sobbing Fluttershy gently. "I'm sure we can fix this somehow once we defeat Celestia."

"Which reminds me, why is 'de princess not like a typhoon?" Applejack asks her friends as if speaking a riddle.

"Simple. Both are powerful, destructively and very indiscriminately cruel. Of course, the typhoon doesn't mean to be." Alice answers Applejack's riddle. "Same with Celestia to be honest..."

"Shucks, nice answer. Wrong but good one."

The group heard some major screams, that doesn't sound good. Alpha Prima said seriously to the two prisoners, "My friends, you both are in real danger. Where is your host as in Pinkie Pie?"

"Danger; Again?! Applejack, I want to go home!" Fluttershy sobs some more. "I don't want to stay here anymore!"

"Pinkie will be here at six, she done never misses an opportunity 'ta deny us cupcakes or drinks. 'Dat plum cruel if yew asked me," Applejack groans a bit while yawning. "Her medicine is making 'de both o' us plum tired..."

The Cutie Mark Crusaders quickly freed the two friends, helping them down. Apple Bloom said in sadness, "Sis, yew an' Fluttershy git out o' here while yew can."

"Right, we will deal with Pinkie Pie and hopefully save our world." Nyx said in agreement.

Megan saw a lever and pulls it, opening up the doors up the stairs.

Pinkie hears the door opening while she's preparing her knives. She frowns while saying, "Awww, they are now freeing AJ and Fluttershy? That isn't nice! I gotta distract them so I can work on Dashie!"

Pinkie hits the key that looks like an ax as it slid down the ground.

Once Applejack and Fluttershy took off to group, the group leaves the area. The worried Megan ask Alpha Prime, "Those poor two...Alpha Prime, isn't there a way to shut that machine off?"

"Only if we destroy Pinkie," Alpha Prime said seriously to his friends. "Even then, it won't be easy."

The group goes up the stairs, destroying the robots along the way. They found a door to a room and open it. To their surprise, there are two prisoners inside. One of them is a brown coated stallion with a spiky like brown mane, green eyes, a long tail and a red collar. His cutie mark consists of three golden triangles…like the Triforce in the Legend of Zelda games. His name is Ben Mare, Twilight's true love and Nyx's father.

The other pony in a cage is a yellow Pegasus mare pony with orange/yellow stripe mane and tail with orange eyes, she's known as Spitfire, captain of the Wonderbolts.

"Daddy," Nyx exclaims happily as she goes up to Ben, nuzzling him.

"Nyx, you're all right." Ben said with a smile while nuzzling her right back.

"You're all right! Mommy and I were so worried about you!"

"So wait, this is Nyx's father?" Megan asks her friends curiously while glancing at Ben. "And is he Celestia's son? I have a feeling that he is since Nyx mentioned Alpha Prime being her uncle."

"That's correct." Spitfire said seriously. "And I am Spitfire, captain of the Wonderbolts. Let's say Pinkie Pie have brought us here for cupcakes if you know what I mean."

"Unfortunately," Fred shudders a bit. "Anyway, we just came from Applejack and Fluttershy."

"Damn, those two seem to barely comprehend their situation." Ed remarks to the prisoners in concern.

"Not their fault, Pinkie's torturing of them has driven them a bit crazy." Ben explains to his daughter and her friends seriously. "Now she made them into 'bluthering idiots'. No offense to them."

"But Pinkie does come at 6 on the dot." Spitfire said in agreement.

"For what, parties; we just have one." Megan said seriously to Ben and Spitfire.

"It's not that, it also to check on her cruel experiments or to make her cupcakes. The first one involves gears springs, lever and mechanical gizzards, seeking an impossible precision like a watchmaker obsessed with infinitesimal fractions or seconds...or a mathematician who tries to square the circle."

"Hay, for the cupcakes, she just cuts them open to make...well, you know!" Ben explains to the others seriously, much to their horror. "Pinkie Pie is no longer the friendly pony we knew her as."

"She will turn all inhabitants into automatons or cupcakes or kill them while doing so." Spitfire adds, making the others gasps. Pinkie Pie has truly gone mad!

"Eeew," The fillies exclaims in disgust and horror.

"That is soooo very low." Rariy remarks with a frown at what Spitfire just explains.

"Very awful; wait; you say six o'clock, right?" Megan asks Spitfire thoughtfully.

"Yes, 6 by that clock," Spitfire answers while pointing a hoof to where a watch is ticking.

"Yes...maybe 6 could come earlier today."

"What do you mean?" Scootaloo ask Megan a bit puzzled.

"I will explain later. Come on, maybe if we're lucky, we can stop Pinkie Pie and save Rainbow Dash." Megan said as the gang leaves the room, destroying a spider while taking the right path (literally).

Two more spiders appear which the Changelings got rid of. The gang enters the next door while following a path. Nyx attack another spider while Megan got rid of it. They enter the next set of doors while jumping into the portal

Sometime later, after dealing with flying balls and the remaining spiders, the gang set the clock to 6 earlier before arriving in a strange room. They saw some sort of piece nearby which Fred comments, "Look, a piece of the Discord Staff!"

"Right," Megan said as she takes the piece for the Discord Piece.

Just then, Twilight teleports in, saying, "The staff lacks only Discord's eye; He has two but I suspects that the chimera is quite fond of them both. Doubt that Discord will change his mind. Speaking of minds, where's Pinkie Pie?"

"Wait, I see a hallway over there." Megan said, spotting a hallway while looking seriously. "Let's go."

When Dash regained consciousness, she found herself in a dark room. She tried to shake her head but found that a taut leather strap held it firmly in place. She struggled to move, but braces around her chest and limbs glued her to a rack formed from a series of sturdy planks, which spread her legs wide apart. Dash's wings were the only part of her not tied down, and they fluttered frantically while she struggled to escape. As she writhed, Pinkie jumped suddenly into her line of sight.

"Goodie, you're awake. Now we can get started," Pinkie stated gleefully. She bounded into the darkness, and quickly reappeared pushing a small cart covered with a cloth.

"Pinkie, what's going on? I can't move!" Dash said urgently.

"Well duh, that''s because you're tied down," chided Pinkie. "That's why you can't move. I didn't think you'd need to be told that."

"But why; what's happening; Why are you doing this?!"

"You are helping me. You see, I ran out of the special ingredient and I need you to get more."

"Special ingredient," Dash was now breathing heavily and starting to panic, "What special ingredient?"

Pinkie giggled and responded, "You, silly!"

Dash's eyes widened and her face contorted in fear. Then she started to laugh and said, in a voice bordering on hysteria, "Woo, you really got me there, Pinkie Pie. I mean, tricking me in to thinking I'm gonna get made into a cupcake? I gotta tell you, this is the best prank yet. For a moment, I thought you have gone mad. You win, you're the best."

Pinkie only giggled even more. "Aw, thanks Dash. But I haven't done any pranks today, so I can't accept your praise."

Dash was struggling again. "Pinkie, come on, this isn't funny. Celestia is destroying Equestria and we need to stop her."

"Then why were you laughing?" Before Dash could answer, Pinkie grabbed the cloth and whipped it off the cart. On the cart was a tray containing various sharp medical tools and knives, carefully organized and wickedly sharp, as well as a large medical bag.

Dash was now in full panic mode. She was starting to hyperventilate. Her mind raced as she tried to reason with the pink pony. "You can't do this, Pinkie! I'm your friend!"

"I know you are and that's why I'm so happy that I've got you here. We get to share your last moments together, just you and me." Pinkie was skipping again.

"But, the other ponies will wonder where I am. When they themselves see that I'm not with them looking for Megan, they'll come looking for me and then you'll get found out," Dash cried in desperation.

"Oh, Dash," said Pinkie. "Don't worry, the Rainbow Droid is taking your place in the meanwhile. And besides, even if they did found out, the ponies will be too late to save you. I mean, how long do you think I've been doing this?" And with that ominous statement, the lights suddenly came to life and revealed the rest the room.

"Oh no," Dash reeled in horror at the image presented to her. The room was decorated with a typical but twisted Pinkie Pie flair. Colorful streamers of dried entrails fluttered around on the ceiling, brightly painted skulls of all sizes were attached to the walls, and organs done up in pastels filled with helium were tied to the backs of chairs. The tables and chairs were made of bones and the preserved flesh of past ponies. Dash cringed upon seeing the center piece of the table nearest to her. The heads of four foals, their eyes closed as if they were sleeping, were wearing party hats made from their own skin. With a thrill of terror, Dash recognized one of them as Apple Bloom's classmate Twist. Dash's eyes darted back and forth and then fell upon a patchwork banner hanging from the rafters. Made from several tanned pony hides, the words 'Life is a party' were scrawled on it in blood red.

Dash's attention was brought back by a party horn unfurling and tickling her nose. She gaped at Pinkie Pie, who was standing right in front of her. The party pony was wearing a dress quilted from dried skin, emblazoned with Cutie marks. On her back fluttered six Pegasus wings, all of different colors. As the earth pony skipped in excitement, her necklace of severed unicorn horns clacked together loudly.

"Like it?" Pinkie asked. ""I made it myself."

Desperately, Dash pleaded with the smiling pony before her. "Pinkie please, I'm sorry if I did anything to you. I didn't mean it. Please let me go. I promise I won't tell anybody and we gotta..."

"Oh Dash, you didn't do anything. It's just that your number came up and, well, I don't make rules. We can't turn back now. Besides, Celestia can handle herself!"

Dash was tearing up. How could this be happening?

"Aww, don't be sad Dash," said Pinkie. "Look, this'll cheer you up. I brought you a friend."

Seemingly out of nowhere, Pinkie produced a brightly painted blue and yellow skull. It was about pony sized, but it had a very defining feature: a beak.

Dash gaped in shock. "Is...…is that…...is… that?"

"'Hey, Dash, let's hang together. These ponies are lame-os. Dweebs dweebs dweebs'," Pinkie mimicked. "Megie and our friends cause her brains to sneeze right out but luckily for me, I found her remains. Boy am I glad I did. It was worth it for the flavor alone. Griffons taste like two animals at once, it's amazing. I know she didn't have a number like everyone else in Ponyville, but when was I gonna get another chance to try griffon? I probably should have asked where she came from so I could have gotten more, but she was dead before then. I'll tell you what though, she was quite the fighter. She lasted a long time, which was a lot of fun for me except the meanie fought Megie and the others. It's too bad she had such a meanie mouth. You know, bad language makes for bad feelings, Rainbow Dash."

Dash didn't have anything to say. She just sobbed and writhed in her tight bonds.

"Well said," Pinkie with an air of finality, "that's enough reminiscing. It's time to begin."

Putting down Gilda's skull, the pink pony gripped a scalpel in the cleft of her hoof and walked over to Dash's right flank. But before the Pinkie can do anything, a voice shouts out, "NO!"

Pinkie yelps and bounces away as some jacks almost got her. Megan's group rush onto the scene, making Rainbow sighs in relief, "Guys...and Megan, right?"

"Yes, I am." Megan said as the others work on unstrapping Rainbow.

"Hey, no fair; we were in the middle of something!" Pinkie protests to the intruders with a pouty look.

"No fair; you were about to make cupcakes out of Pinkie Pie!" Nyx exclaims to Pinkie furiously. "You can't do that to our friends!!!"

"Give up, Pinkie Pie. We got you surrounded." Alpha Prime said sternly. Rainbow is let go, safe and sound...and ready to kick flank.

"Goody, more party guests and cupcakes! Droidie and I got more to play with, right Droidie?" Pinkie asks an offscreen guest just now.

Sure enough, Rainbow Droid appears, now upgraded and looking mean like. She said, "My heart is steel, my soul is blue and behind these false orbs shines a red light that sees all."

"Good thing I found ya and gave you one Tartarus of an upgrade! Now we can have fun!"

"Where the hay did you even come from, bolts for brains?" Ed asks the Rainbow Droid in confusion, "At least in the first place?"

"Didn't she tell who I am? Where I come from? Why I wear her skin over myself? Well, it's quite simple!" Rainbow Droid exclaims to the group evilly.

"I'll buck you Into next week, Larpy." Rainbow Dash snaps to the robot angrily.

"Be quiet you egotistical pathetic organic life form!"

"Less talking! Time to begin," Pinkie giggles as she fire missiles at the heroes who dodged them.

"Megan, the Jacks!" Golden Heart calls out to Megan who uses the Jacks to destroy one of the missles. While Rainbow deals with her robot counterpart, Pinkie disappears, leaving robots in her place. The heroes destroy the robots until they blew up.

"Pinkie, come out, already!" Rarity demands to Pinkie furiously.

"Okie dokie lokie," Pinkie exclaims madly as she pounces towards Rarity, fighting. The pink pony tries to stab the white unicorn until Alpha Prime kicks her right off, "Meanie!"

Rainbow head butts the robotic droid who slashes at her. The Pegasus pony snaps, "I betcha you kidnapped me before so that you can get Pinkie to kill me! Man, you are really uncool, damn it!"

The Rainbow Droid snaps, "Be quiet, you egotistical pathetic organic scum! Every time your mouth opens, I resist the urge to kill you quickly; always commenting on emails and the Wonderbolts as if they actually mean anything!"

"At least you were useful until you frigging blow up! Not my fault you were useless."

"Unlike less time, I'm going to take my time killing you, Rainbow Dash."

During within the battle of Megan and gang vs Pinkie, the human was sent right into a wall by the mad pink pony. As the gang keep fighting Megan gets back up and gets ready to keep fighting she hears a voice and it says, "Your heart and mind and soul are strong but the weapon you have is not strong to beat her blade."

Megan then saw the same figure but it was too dark to see her then holds out a knife that was bigger and looks more sharper than hers. She then says, "Take this. It will help you take on Pinkie's knife and the trials ahead."

Megan then puts her hand out and the figure then puts the handle of the knife in her hand. The human girl then looks at the knife and sees how well made it is. She turns to thank the figure but the unknown one was no longer there. Megan wonders who the figure was but she saw her friends still fighting Pinkie and she hurries back in the fight.

Apple Bloom yelps as she saw Twist's remains, crying, "How could yew do 'dis to our friends?!"

"Very easy! Sorry, your number didn't come up but no worries, it will soon!" Pinkie exclaims happily as she prepares to stab Apple Bloom.

Suddenly Megan jumps in and slashes Pinkie right in the face, making her scream. The others gasp as they saw something that replaces it: a robotic eye.

"She's a robot?!" Sweetie gasps in shock and alarm.

"Hey, no fair; I wanted that to be a secret!" Pinkie whines to her friends angrily. "Damn you, you're going to pay the buck for it!"

"Robot or no, you're going to pay for what you did! Sorry, Pinkie, it's for your own good." Golden Heart said seriously as he punches Pinkie all over and kicks her in the chest.

"Time to finish this," Megan said as she got her knife out, ready to finish the half robot off.

"You wouldn't let her kill me, could you?" Pinkie ask Megan insanely.

"We have to." Rarity said to Pinkie sternly. The white unicorn hates to do this but the pink pony has gone to the point of no return. At least once Equestria is restore, maybe Pinkie Pie can be her happy party loving self again.

"Hehehrhe," Pinkie laughs insanely. "Then what's the difference between you and me?!"

Rarity kicks Pinkie right into the air before Megan then slash at the pink pony, breaking her into pieces. The former Pinkie twitch a bit before dying, blowing up at the end.

"I don't make my friends into cupcakes." Rarity explains to the now dead Pinkie Pie, a hint of sadness is heard in her voice.

"It's been done." Megan sighs a bit.

"Poor Pinkie Pie," Nyx said sadly to Pinkie's remains. "What happened to Equestria has truly driven her insane..."

"She kept me here for weeks, probably knocked out for who knows how long." Rainbow snaps as she kept on fighting the Rainbow Droid. "Hey, a little help here!"

Alpha Prime answers as he fires a huge laser at the Rainbow Droid who turns and yelps, "Oh buck!" The robot got hit and blew up; his remains are shattered all over.

"It's been done." Alpha Prime sighs a bit. "Rainbow, I'm sure you don't really have hard feelings for what Pinkie did."

"To be honest...I don't hate her...Pinkie was driven mad. Poor Pinkie Pie," Rainbow sobs a bit. "If only we would've helped her..."

"It's okay, my friend. Pinkie Pie is now freed, her soul is at peace...or until we get Equestria back to its former happy glory."

Megan saw a pocket watch and picks it up. The girl glances while saying, "A pocket watch...this could be Spike's. Better keep this."

Twilight appears once more as she said, "This kind of watch stops time...for a time. Unlike death, time moves on. Those who stood still with it move on...until they're dead."

Just then Mini-Devils appear, making the Changelings gasp. Rainbow exclaims, "Time for us to get out of here. I have enough of this Tartarus to last a lifetime!"

The group rush over to the portals. Unknown to them, a familiar figure is arriving on the scene and spotting Pinkie's remains on the ground. Lorcan gasps in shock and fury.

"WHO DID THIS," Lorcan roars furiously to a Royal Guard who saw the whole thing from hiding. The Dragon came here with help from his new friend to finish Pinkie off for killing Spike...but the opportunity has been robbed from him!

"Hehehehe, if I told you, you wouldn't believe me..." The Royal Guard chuckles then whispers into the Dragon's ear.

"Grrr." Lorcan snaps the guard's neck before facing Megan whose jumps into a portal with her friends, his eyes glowing dangerously, "you..."

Lorcan didn't notice or even cares that he is turning more red with gray...

The group returns to the cage area as they lift up, freeing Ben and Spitfire. Nyx rushes over to her father while saying, "Daddy!"

"Thank you for saving us." Ben said with a sad smile. "Though it means you must've been forced to kill Pinkie Pie to do so."

"I know, I know..."

"Dude, thanks; I offer you my services!" Spitfire said to Megan while bowing to her.

"Make sure you promise only what you're prepared to deliver." Megan said to Spitfire. She looks sad while adding. "I know now that I am destined to fight Celestia. The outcome is certain."

"You won't fight alone, everyone. Allow me to serve as your commander."

"Right, Spitfire will muster the forces whose allegiance that your courage and skills has won already." Ben explains to Megan with a nod. "Even now, my cousin Cadance and her Crystal Pony Empire are preparing to fight. They just need the time to do so."

"Once we get out of here, how shall we prepare for battle?" Megan asks her friends curiously.

"An assault on the princess depends on breaching the gates to her kingdom." Spitfire explains seriously to Megan. "Only the Discord Staff can pry them open. Once you do so, Cadance and I shall lead the troops to victory."

"It's time for us to right the wrongs of this world together!" Luna exclaims to her friends in determination.

"All aboard," Rainbow exclaims eagerly, "Time to go."

The ones who can't fly got on the ones that got on the ones that could and make their escape by breaking the roof window. Megan looks more determined but concerned. She needs one more piece to complete the Discord Staff.

But to do so, Megan must face Discord.

 

Author's note
Poor Pinkie Pie is dead...but the heroes move on. In the next chapter, Megan and her friends journey to find Discord, finally meeting the voice of the 'oracle'. And when they meet the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony, the poor human girl gets doubts...and the gang meets up with an old friend turned evil.
