Author's note
No, VISION-KING, that isn't how the Discord Staff works; it's a powerful weapon to destroy the nastiest of foes like Discord or Celestia. Plus, the Elements of Harmony aren't even coming to play here so whatcha on about? Two of the Element holding ponies will be dead while two are incapable when the final battle comes up.

 

Anyway, the events will happen because I planned on working on the sequel in the future.

 

And for the last time, Mystery Guy, Celestia is NOT a coward! She just has some bad luck! Honestly, you folks got to stop this nonsense at once.

 

Chapter 7: Flutterponies vs. Cult Members

 

Megan and her friends land on the ground in the Flutter Province. As they got up, Rarity asks, "Now where are we?"

The group glances at their new surroundings, the place looks like a war zone. Megan said, "This was Flutter Valley, now the Flutter Province. What happened? Did Celestia really went and declare war?"

"Unfortunately yes, and she has Sir Spell Nexus as the head of her troops here." Luna explains to Celestia seriously.

"Sir Spell Nexus, the former head of my cult?" Nyx ask Luna in surprise.

"Correct and sadly, he too is once again corrupted by the darkness. We can only hope to find the Flutterponies and help them in their battle while looking for the remaining pieces of the Discord Staff."

The group goes forward a bit and reaches a Flutterpony waiting for them. She must aside to allow a board to appear on the ground. Apple Bloom asks curiously, "What is 'dis fer?"

"Our war is like playing Chess for some reason so when this appears, you must step on this board to continue." The Flutterpony explains to Megan's group clearly.

"I see, figures Chess is invovled somehow." Alpha Prime said thoughtfully to the Flutterpony.

"Just make sure you get to the Central Area."

Alpha Prime got onto the board, now wearing bishop's clothing as his hooves got glued. Megan calls out to her friend, "All right, good luck."

"Just follow me, everyone." Alpha Prime instructs his friends carefully.

Alpha Prime took the following paths with the others following: Up-left, Right, Forward, Left, Forward twice, Right, Forward, Right, Left, Right, Forward, Right, Left, Forward, Left, Forward, Left, Right, and Forward. Once that's done, the board disappears along with the alicorn's bishop clothes.

"Nice work, Alpha." Sweetie said to Nyx happily.

"Thanks." Alpha Prime said with a grin. "Come on, to the Central Area.

Megan's group moves forward towards the Central Area. Just then, two cult members came of the right, attacking along with an armored member. Rainbow exclaims, "Get those assholes!"

The group attacks the cult members, Rainbow fires a blast at them, destroying them much to her friends' surprise. Did she just do that?

"Risk assessment analysis indicates the probability of your success to be low, ensuring your failure and my victory." Rainbow remarks to the minion, much to her friends' concern and confusion.

"Okay, that's weird coming from you, Rainbow." Fred said to Rainbow a bit uneasily.

"Yeah," Ed said while nodding in agreement. Something about this Rainbow Dash is a bit off indeed.

Megan and her friends continue on their way, going around the corner to see two unicorn cult members waiting for them. They quickly attack with all their might, destroying them.

They then took the first door to the right then attacked the Red Pawns that dropped down, destroying them. Now the heroes cross the bridge, entering a door to the right...seeing a cult member killing a Flutterpony.

"No!" Nyx gasps in shock at what the insane pony is doing to the Flutterpony one.

"Time to die, bucker," Megan exclaims as she, Rarity and Luna hit the cult member, killing him. The gang follows the path where the Changelings and Alpha Prime destroyed two more Pegasus Cult members.

Apple Bloom grabs some cards, commentating, "Neat, cards."

"Better save those." Sweetie suggests to Apple Bloom with a nod.

The group goes to an upper lever, entering a door on the right. Megan pulls a lever, causing a door to open and a Fluttershy to go through it below. Once that's done, the gang jump/flew down into the central and head northwest to the door that opened.

Megan and her friends saw more of the members while Scootaloo exclaims, "Let's take them down." The heroes quickly got to work on destroying the bad guys.

After going through another door, Megan's group went up some stairs just in time to see some sort of alicorn with a Gold Heart as his cutie mark fighting off a pony in armor.

"Golden Heart, we must help him out!" Luna exclaims to her allies in concern.

"On it," Alpha Prime as he and Megan attack the evil pony until he is broken into two.

"Ah, thanks. I thought I was a goner for a moment." Golden Heart said to Megan and her friends in relief. "You human must be Megan."

"Yes, I am. What's going on?" Megan ask Golden Heart in a bit of concern.

"I will explain once I take you to Queen Rosedust."

"Look out! Cult member!" Nyx exclaims. The heroes saw a huge cult member arriving which Fred and Ed destroyed. Two more minions are waiting in the corner which Rainbow and Rarity destroyed with their attacks.

"Nice work." Golden said to the two ponies in approval. "We must get going."

The gang follows the path and meets up with another Flutterpony who made another white board appears on the ground. Apple Bloom said, "Another one o' those board things."

"Let me do this, Alpha." Megan insists to Alpha Prime with a smile.

"Go ahead."

Megan got onto the board and in a white space, ending up in Flutterpony clothing, making her smile a bit. Sweetie calls, "Lead the way, Meg!"

Megan goes forward to get to the next destination then she did the following: 90 degrees left, 90 degrees left, 90 degrees right, forward which automatically turned right, forward twice, 90 degrees left, 180 degrees around, 90 degrees left, 90 degrees right, and forward twice which at the second point it automatically turned right.

"Is this done yet?" Rainbow asks the others a bit annoyed.

"Almost there." Rarity said. Megan now goes 90 degrees left and finally, 90 degrees. Soon the girl went back to normal. "Now we're done."

Golden Heart glances at an area, commentating, "We should raise the water level so we can swim across. I know where the lever to do so is at. Come on."

The gang goes around the corner, getting rid of another cult member. Now they went down some stairs, destroying another armored pony right there. Megan's group heads up the stairs and into the only opened door to the right the locked double doors.

The gang now saw two cult members in the corner and quickly fights them off. During the fight, Rainbow's slipper on her left hoof gets torn revealing a bit of silver.

Scootaloo, noticing, said to herself, "Weird. I don't remember Dash's hoof to be silver." The filly then looks closer. "And since when did she have claws..."

After the two cult members are destroyed, the group went up the stairs where Nyx grabs a Jackbox on the table before exiting. Another armored pony was around the corner which Rainbow kills off.

Megan's group follows the path, finding two cult members near a lever. Alpha Prime uses his lasers to destroy them. He then spoke up, "Time to make a flood. Is this it?"

"Of course, it should raise the water level." Golden Heart explains to Alpha Prime as he pulls the lever. Outside, the watermill begins to work as it pours out water like mad.

Megan's group heads back to the business and jumps into the water. Alpha Prime, with the lever behind himself still, jumps off to the left with his friends following, the gang swims beneath the floor that has spikes going up and down, making them sure to avoid them.

The gang reaches the end of the bath, swimming up and seeing an Meta Essence. Megan comments, "Another one." She took some of it to recover from the battle.

"There's a ledge, let's go." Fred comments as Megan's group heads to the ledge, where two cult members are waiting. The Changelings flew up while the heroes climb, tearing the bad guys to pieces.

Once the cult members are killed, Fred and Ed help Megan's group onto the ledge, the latter remarks, "And you thought hanging with was frigging stupid."

"Yeah, thanks I guess." Rarity said to the Changelings with a smile. Perhaps Fred and Ed aren't so bad after all. "Let's get going."

Megan and her friends go through the huge double doors, arriving in a new area. Megan comments, "Well, if you ignore the dead Flutterponies, this place looks wonderful."

"Yes, I know." Scootaloo sighs as she saw some of the dead Flutterponies on the ground. "What a waste of life."

The group heads over to the castle of Queen Rosedust waiting before them. Just then two armored ponies came out as two cult members dragged a struggling Flutterpony out. It is a green coated one with a long yellow mane which is in a ponytail and tail, she also has purple eyes. The Flutterpony has a green vine with three purple morning glory flowers also one bud on her right cheek for a cutie mark. Her name is Morning Glory.

"No, let go of me, please!" Morning Glory pleads to her kidnappers as they take her to the pathway bridge. "This isn't right; HEEELP!"

"They got Morning Glory." Luna said with a deep frown. "Spell Nexus has gone too far this time."

The Cutie Mark Crusaders yelp as some of the cult members appear to attack them. The heroes fight back, getting rid of them. The gang went into the castle via the double doors. Inside was a shocking gruesome sight: there are dead Flutterponies and ponies almost everywhere...and two live Flutterponies are about to get killed by two of the armored ponies!

"No!" Golden Heart exclaims as he and Megan destroy the cult members, killing them.

"Thank goodness." One of the Flutterponies said with a sigh of relief. "Queen Rosedust is waiting for you all in the throne room."

The gang took the northern right door, seeing another Flutterpony gasping as she watch a fellow pony get stabbed. Rainbow frowns as she destroys the minion, destroying the cult member in the progress.

Megan's group now enters the throne room where they saw a few Flutterponies coming to him. One of them is a yellow coated Flutterpony with a long light pink mane and a tail that has a blue bow in it, her eyes are pink. She has a red stem in her mane and she has three pink roses, seven pink and green rosebuds, one rosebud on right cheek as a cutie mark. Her name is Queen Rosedust, queen of the Flutterponies.

"Queen Rosedust." Luna said, bowing to Queen Rosedust.

"Luna, you're here...and Megan, it's good to see you again though I wish it's under best circumstances." Queen Rosedust said to Megan and her friends in worry. "You all must help us. Celestia's forces had grown stronger and show no mercy. Morning Glory is in terrible danger."

"We saw her got captured." Megan said in sadness. "I'm so sorry."

"This is terrible, without Morning Glory's leadership, the forces that once worshipped Nightmare Moon and is now under control of the corrupted Celestia will win. We will be doomed."

"No worry, Rosedust, we will beat those guys and saved Morning Glory." Nyx promises Morning Glory with a grin.

"But if the bad guys win, they are screwed." Rainbow remarks to Nyx in reminder.

"So are we if we can't pass through here." Megan said seriously. "We must collece pieces to the Discord Staff."

"Free Morning Glory; that would help us all." Queen Rosedust advises Megan and her friends hopefully. Maybe if they were to save Morning Glory, that can help everyone.

"But not all of us are war players or chess players." Sweetie said to Queen Rosedust in concern. "Can you tell us what the rules are?"

"Rules; sadly, there are no rules, barely any time for strategy. We don't have time. Just make a frontal assault on the cult's camp. I will not lie though. You all will meet deadly traps along with fierce opposition along the way."

"Should we be grateful for the truth?" Golden Heart asks Queen Rosedust, noticing a disturbed look on Megan's face. "Perhaps a lie or two will help."

"In the game of water, the truth is always first. There is always time for lies later." Queen Rosedust said seriously. "No worries, you won't face the enemy alone. Take this to help you."

Megan saw a white fairy going up to her, landing in the girl's hand. Ed asks Queen Rosedust in disbelief, "A fairy? Hell, is that the best that we can hope for?"

"Wait...fairies have the powers to resurrect the dead!" Fred exclaims in realization to his pal. "If Morning Glory were to get killed, we can use the pawn to bring her back to life!"

Scootaloo then find Rainbow speaking on a communicator to someone, but the pony sees her and rips off its slipper, revealing a metal hoof. The filly gasps, "Wait a minute!"

Scootaloo jumps at the one whom she thought was Rainbow Dash at first but the mare knocks her away. This caught the others' attention as Rarity demands, "What's going on here?!"

"Look out, this isn't Rainbow Dash! It's an imposter!"

"Oh come on! You don't expect to believe her, do you?" 'Rainbow' protests to the others in disbelief. Of course, she notices them staring at her hoof and saw that it's metal. "Ooh, about that, I..."

"Nice try!" Alpha Prime snaps as he fires a laser blast at the fake Rainbow. This causes a bit of her disguise to fall off, revealing her true form which is that of a droid. "But you messed up."

"Damn it; How did you know?!"

"I notice something's wrong when I noticed you were wearing black slippers, as well as you spoke...and I sense robots ever since I ran into you all a while back. But it was this moment that confirms my suspicions."

"What did you do to the real Rainbow Dash?!" Megan demands angrily to the imposter as she got her knife out.

"You will never see her again! Once I kill her, get the Elements, I will destroy all you meat bags!" The Rainbow Droid booms sinisterly. "Now have..."

"Oh just shut up and fight."

Megan's group quickly fights off the Rainbow Droid, even the fillies did. The Rainbow Droid would try to get her opponents but the mightiest attacks, end up causing severe damaged. During the fight, a bit of its skin suit around the face has been torn off, revealing a forever glowing red light for a eye

"Get out of here!" Luna demands as she fires a major blast at the Rainbow Droid, sending it right into a wall, severely damaged. The robot got up, cringing a bit then leaves the room.

"Get back here!" Scootaloo exclaims furiously at the fleeing Rainbow Droid. "Where's Rainbow Dash?!"

"We got no time to flee after her." Nyx said with a frown. "We got to save Morning Glory before that cult executes her. We will figure out what happened to Rainbow later."

"Right, go and return the way you came. My Flutterponies should know the way." Queen Rosedust advises the group who heads off into a portal, leaving the castle.

The group now arrives at the camp of the cult, jumping down to the lower lever and killing off two cult members. Fred remarks, "Who knew that we were travelling with a robot the whole time?"

"Not me!" Ed answers his pal's question. "Then again, I barely know anything!"

"But where's 'de real Rainbow Dash," Apple Bloom ask in worry and concern. "Is she captured by 'de bad guys?"

The group continues into the camp, killing off the cult members in their way while getting Meta Essence. Luna picks up another Demon Dice, saying, "Better keep these in case of emergency."

Morning Glory screams as she finds herself inside a guillotine, about to be executed. The cult members had learned that Megan and her friends are on their way from the Rainbow Droid and has decided to kill the Flutterpony quickly.

"No, please! Don't do this! You aren't really evil, I just know it!" Morning Glory pleads to the cult's leader. It is a male dark blue unicorn with slate gray eyes, a light gray mane and tail, and has a spell star for a cutie mark. His name is Spell Nexus, the leader of Nyx's former cult that is now working for the corrupted Celestia.

"It doesn't matter! Celestia's word is law...and you Flutterponies have lived too long in a world of darkness!" Nexus snaps to Morning Glory wickedly.

Nexus signals a cult member to pull the lever. Morning Glory screams for the last time before a slashing sound cut her off, along with her head. The unicorn smirks evilly.

"Yes...now the forces of Celestia will take over the Flutter Province..." Nexus said wickedly. "And once I deal with Megan and her friends, Celestia will reward us all..."

The Rainbow Droid arrives in an area and thinks she is safe, it then see something staring at her and it was not happy.

"Who are you?" The Rainbow Droid demands to the newcomer, pissed.

The figure just stares with her blade drawn and smirks as she says, "This is ironic really."

"Ad why is that?"

"Because your number has come up."

The droid then remembers the fanfic from Rainbow's memories. If it had a fear feature, she'd be scared.

The figure then looks at the readers and say, "This maybe too gruesome to some readers and this will take long so move the camera to Megan and the gang to see some fighting."

Megan and her friends arrive in a strange area. The human girl asks, "What is this place?"

"Your demise, foolish Mag'ne and friends," Nexus's voice is heard sinisterly. Suddenly a barrier appears in the area, blocking all exits.

"Eek, not good," Fred exclaims in worry. The heroes then saw a familiar unicorn appearing, chuckling sinisterly.

"You're too late. Morning Glory is dead, I have her beheaded the moment the Rainbow Droid has informed me of your coming!"

"Damn you!" Golden Heart exclaims to Nexus furiously, "How could you be so cruel?!"

"Because I can in the name of the true queen Celestia," Nexus said to Golden Heart with an evil smirk. To the unicorn, he doesn't give a damn as long as Nexus does what he can in Celestia's name.

"And where's the Rainbow Droid?" Rarity demands to Nexus furiously. "Where's Rainbow Dash?!"

"I don't know about the junk that looks like your friend. I haven't heard from her in a while. But as for your real friend, it matters not! The only thing that does is that I'm going to kill you all right here and now before Celestia rewards me for your deaths!"

"Then prepare to face the consequences." Luna snaps to Nexus as she made a sword appear while Nexus got his own weapon, which is a staff, out. The corrupted unicorn then fights off the heroes as they fight him right off.

"And to think, I thought you or the brat would be the rightful queen!" Nexus snaps sinisterly as he tries to strike Nyx but Alpha Prime blocks his attack. "At least now, I know the truth!"

"Yeah, that you're stupid and a jerk-off," Scootaloo snaps as she head butts Nexus hard.

"Grr, you're dead!"

"Not if I kill you first!" Megan snaps as she slashes at Nexus, making him gasps in pain.

"Take this!" Nexus snaps furiously as he fires lasers at the heroes who dodge the attacks. Rarity gasps as the villain shot her right in the mane.

"My Mane; He shot me in the Mane!" Rarity screams in shock then glance furiously at the laughing Nexus "Son of a bitch! It...is...on!"

Rarity screech in fury as she fires bolts from her horn right at Nexus who blocks the attacks. The evil unicorn yells out, "No one can save you all now! Now prepare to..."

Golden Heart however flew in and uses his sword to cut Nexus's staff in half, making the corrupted unicorn gasps in shock. He's about to use his horn but Megan uses the ice wand to freeze him inside a block of ice. The human, Luna, Alpha Prime and the Cutie Mark Crusaders quickly hit him at once, sending Nexus into pieces. He is no more.

"We did it...Nexus is gone...but it's too late." Luna said in sadness. "Morning Glory is gone..."

"Oh I wish we made it here in time." Nyx said, sniffing tears in sadness.

"Wait, hang on!" Golden Heart exclaims in realization before turning to the Changelings, "Ed, the fairy! Do you still have it?" Ed nods as he takes the fairy out. Suddenly a platform appears, landing nearby. "Quickly, use that fairy on that platform."

Megan takes the fairy from Ed and uses it on the platform. Suddenly it spins around and transform, before a magic flash appear. The heroes gasp in surprise as a familiar Flutterpony appears, alive and well.

"Oh my goodness," Morning Glory exclaims in surprise and amazement. "Where am I? I thought I was going to be beheaded and..."

"You were, Morning Glory old friend." Megan said, tears of happiness came out of her eyes as she hugs the Flutterpony. "But we revived you. Welcome back."

"Megan." Just then, the barrier disappear as cult members and armored soldiers appears, ready to attack. Morning Glory frowns as she summons two Flutterponies at her side. "Everyone else, get out of here. We will handle them; Flutterponies!"

The Flutterponies flew in to fight off the invading minions, leaving Megan and her friends to watch them. But before they could make their escape, something appears behind them...and hits them all with some sort of cannon, sending them to the ground, unconscious.

"Oh goody; some of my old friends are here including some new ones!" The attacker giggles madly. "Now this party just got super duper fun!"

Crap! Megan and her friends are attacked by a mysterious figure but who is it? In the next chapter, Megan and her friends find themselves in an insane asylum where they must find a way out while dealing with the Diamond Dogs. Read, review and suggest.

 

Queen Rosedust, Morning Glory and the Flutterponies are old friends of Megan from the first series of My Little Pony as well.
