Chapter 8: Love in Equestria

Spike, Applejack and Pinkie meanwhile bounce back down the stairs. The rest of the Diamond Dogs were busy fighting off Golden Heart and Pinkamena but notice too late of the ones coming at the battle; especially when the rest of the bad guys got knocked down as bowling pins, knocking them all right out of the tower.

Unfortunately, Golden Heart and Pinkamena got collide into by their friends, bouncing along with them. They crash right into the cage that Twilight and Rarity are trapped in, causing them to join the group unwillingly. During this time, Ben was in another cage, hiding, and watching before getting out.

"Guys, wait, hang on!" Ben exclaims as he tries to go after his friends...only for him to trip, joining in on the 'ride' of falling down the stairs.

Soon the 'ride' came to an end at the bottom as everyone bounces out the door, stopping upon landing on the ground. As they all got up, Pinkie ask goofily, "Did we do it?"

"Yeah, we did it!" Spike exclaims as he jumps up eagerly. The musketeers and Applejack has saved the princess!

"Wait, we did?" Ben asks confused, since he didn't do much at all. The stallion quickly smiles while exclaiming, "Yeah, we did it!"

The main three Heroes laughs and cheering for their victory. Of course, their celebration was cut shot as Twilight calls out, "Hey, guys, girl?"

The gang saw Rarity, Twilight and the rest of their friends in the ropes, getting stuck; Applejack calls out, "Mind giving us a hoof here?"

"Oh right. Let me see what I can do." Spike said as he goes over to the ropes, looking for a way to get them freed.

Spike found a piece sticking out and pulls it. It pops out, causing the roped group to be freed of the ropes...but of course, it ended up with the Dragon getting tangled up in them. Spike chuckles nervously a bit, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Then something happens that changes everything for the better: Rarity giggles and laughs a bit. That musketeer Spike is a funny one!

Buster was watching, smiling as he said, "Well, there it is, toonsters!"

A pink bunny named Babs appear, saying, "Yep! Spike has made her laugh. Now Rarity knows that he's the one. But of course will love blooms as they get back to Equestria?"

"How about a little song to help them along?"

Babs's friends Fifi La Fume and Shirley the Loon appears to sing along as Buster prepares to play the piano. The gang is on their way back to the city. Applejack has introduced herself to the princess. Rarity, to reward her for her help, agrees to make her a head chef at her castle, much to the country mare's delight.

Pinkamena and Golden heart Here watching along with Gold Wing on his shoulder. Pinkamena says, "Love's in bloom but I have a feeling who ever sent the little pups to take the girls..."

Golden Heart interrupts as he spoke, "I see, well let's still keep up our act a little longer; sooner or later, the true bad guy will be known.

She nods as they head off. As Spike walks alongside with Rarity, smiling, Buster begins to sing with the girls of Tiny Toons.

Buster: Afloat on the breeze

Tiny Toon girls: On wings of love

The bunnies smiles at each other. As the song continues, some bees and birds flew onto the scene, joining in on the song.

Buster: Like birds and like bees

Toons, Birds, & Bees: Sweet wings of love

Fifi: Ze first day we met

Birds & Bees: On wings of love

Buster: We watched the sun set

Once the birds and the bees flew off, Spike is seen holding Rarity's hoof, the two walk over to a bridge happily and lovingly.

Babs: And if by some chance

Birds & Bees: Some twist of fate

As the two are enjoying themselves, Spike and Rarity saw a hay cart rolling by. The baby Dragon is able to help the unicorn get in but is having trouble keeping up. Rarity giggles at this happily.

Buster: We're chasing romance

Birds & Bees: It's not too late

Spike manages to reach out his claw. He smiles in delight as the princess took it, pulling the Dragon onto the cart, allowing Spike to land next to her. The two smile lovingly to each other.

Toons: It's heaven's design
You'll be mine
Hands entwined on wings of love

Some hay lands on the two, causing them to yelp as the lovers got buried in it. Spike and Rarity pokes their heads out. The unicorn giggles as she took a few straws right out of her lover's hat.

During this time, Plucky shows up, looking disgusted as he remarks, "Honestly, Buster; Very stupid song."

"Like, don't knock it, Plucky!" Shirley remarks eagerly as she grabs Plucky, making him blush a bit.

Once the nighttime came, Spike and Rarity were riding in a boat, watching the moon in the sky shining all so wonderfully.

Babs: Down the streams of life we sail

Birds & Bees: Life we sail

Fifi: And our world in twilight gleams

Once their ride is over, the two walks through a garden where a lot of beautiful flowers has been planted.

Birds & Bees: Twilight dreams
Like the light in your eyes

Girl Toons: Inside my dreams
Your whisper lightly tickling my ear
It’s Equestria, ah, in the spring

Birds & Bees: Spring, spring, spring, spring

Babs: I feel so giddy one thing is clear
You stir my heart to sing

Birds & Bees: Ah, ah, ah

Soon, Spike and Rarity came back to the palace at last. The Dragon escorts the princess to the front doors.

Buster: Don’t take your hand from mine

Birds & Bees: Hand from mine

Buster: Just hold tight until you find

Rarity kept her hold on her hoof until the two were forced to separate from one another...for now.

Babs: You’re the light I’m dreaming of

Birds & Bees: Dreaming of

Rarity with a loving grin took off Spike's hat, holding it up...then gave the brave musketeer a sweet kiss.

Buster: And I’m waiting for you on wings of love

The song is almost done as Rarity heads back to the palace. Turning to her love, she said slyly, "Bonne nuit."

Rarity then tosses Spike's back to him before heading inside. The hat itself lands on his head swiftly as he sighs dreamily...then fell to the ground, passing out wonderfully.

Toons: Waiting for you on wings

Birds & Bees: Lovely little wings

Toons: Of love...

Once the song is over, Plucky frowns in annoyance, speaking, "Is this song over? Hello?"

Ah, love in Equestria. But while things are doing good, terrible stuff is about to occur. In the next chapter, Boris, angry by the heroes' victory, decides to take them out one by one, starting with Pinkie, Golden Heart, Pinkamena, Applejack...and Rainbow Dash! Read, review and suggest.
