Chapter 7: The Mishap Rescue

It didn't take long for the musketeers and Applejack to find the carriage which is next to a remote tower on a cliff. And this is where the Diamond Dogs are taking Rarity and Twilight because they could hear the two screaming from inside the tower.

"The princess," Spike calls out. He and his pals try their best to get the door open but it won't open. "Blast, it's locked!"

"And this door is magic proof." Golden Heart groans as he tries to use his magic to open the door but to no prevail.

"Any o' yew fellers got any ideas?" Applejack ask her new friends in concern. They got to get inside to rescue Rarity and Twilight but how to get in?

"No worries! Let me try!" Pinkie exclaims as she heads back almost a mile. The mare then prepares to take a huge charge at the door to break it down.

Just then, Pinkamena saw something on the door. It's labeled 'push'. The Pinkie clone giggles, "Silly us!"

The heroes push the door open. While during this time, Pinkie was rushing at the door, unaware of what's going on.

"Hey, Pinkie; we got 'de door..." Applejack was interrupted as Pinkie, not hearing her friends, rush into the tower unknowingly, blowing the others away. "...open?"

The Diamond Dogs during this time was carrying their hostages up the stairs, using magic-proof chains to keep the two from using their magic. Twilight struggles while snapping, "Ugh! You three are lucky that I can't use magic with these on me! Otherwise, you will be in serious pain right now!"

Suddenly a familiar pink pony rush by the group unknowingly. Fido looks confused as he asks, "What was that?"

Pinkie was still running up the stairs until she arrives at the top...and crashes right through a window! The pink pony kept on rushing until she fell right onto an old tree near the cliff which sends her flying right into a meadow.

Pinkie kept on flying until she crashes right into a cow named Daisy Jo who is none too pleased by this.

"Hey!" Daisy Jo exclaims angrily at Pinkie. She then kicks at the pink pony, sending her right into the sky screaming.

Pinkie soon collides with a blade of a windmill, spinning her very fast before sending the mare right back through the same window of the tower. Pinkie bounces painfully yet playfully down the stairs, going past the same group who looks at her go by in bewilderment.

"Okay." Twilight remarks in confusion.

Pinkie soon bounces back to the front door just as her friends got back up. They saw her land on the ground with a daze. While the heroes helped her up, Pinkie said dizzily, "Got the door opened."

A worried Spot looks at his pals while asking, "What shall we do? Those musketeers are here!"

"Oh come on, we're 87 floors up." Rover scoffs to the worried Spot skeptically. "So what they found us? It will take hours before..."

Of course, the Diamond Dogs heard sounds of fast stomping, making them turn. To their surprise, there're the musketeers and Applejack running up the stairs...then they begin to wheeze and pant. They are exhausted from all that running that they themselves had to do.

"Not so...fast...ya vermints! Applejack groans as she fell down a bit. That was exhausting!

"Threw those two into the cages," Rovers orders his colleagues

Fido and Spot throw Rarity and Twilight into a cage nearby (how it got there, no one knows) before locking them in. They scream in alarm. The cage that the two hostages are in is magic-proof so Rarity and Twilight can't get out even if they wanted to!

"Your Highness!" Spike gasps before looking in determination to his pals as they got their swords out. "Let's get them!"

"Come on, boys; let's deal with these so-called heroes!" Rover remarks to his pals as they took their swords out.

"Right, it's only three against five to six of us?" Golden Heart responded in seeing they are more at arms with numbers.

"Oh, you think it be easy, hugh? Well we can be just as tough." Rover responded

"Yeah, you and who's army?" Pinkamena retorted in who else was gonna help these three dogs.

Suddenly, Rover whistles at the moment, and there is a bit of shaking going on in the tower. And from all sides, the tower was filled with many different Diamond Dogs wearing suits of armor and was armed.

"Ye had ta ask?" Applejack narrows her eyes to Pinkamena in seriously asking for trouble there.

Both sides begin fighting each other bravely with Rarity and Twilight watching from their cage in concern. Who will win this intense fight?

Pinkamena is surrounded by Diamond Dogs. She was calm and says, "Hmm seems the odds are not so well............for you."

The Diamond Dogs charges at her but in a flash, something happens as fighting sounds are heard. The flash goes away as they are all sent back and knocked out as she giggles.

"Aww I am all out oh well." Pinkamena remarks playfully. She then heads off to help Golden Heart as he was done with his group of foes along with Gold Wing on his shoulder as she says, "Well seems like Goldie is done with his group and they will not remember anything. I hope the others are doing ok."

They all head off to help the others. Ben yelps as he got his sword out, pointing it at Fido while demanding, "Let the two go right now, especially Twilight!"

Fido of course grins cruelly at Ben pointing his weapon at him then he hits his opponent's sword, knocking it down to the very bottom of the Floor. The Earth pony chuckles nervously...which got worst when the Diamond Dog got some 2 by 4 weapons out, pointing them at Ben threateningly.

Ben screams in terror as he run off, wearing high heels for some reason, screaming like a filly. Pinkie and Applejack meanwhile is having trouble with Spot.

"All right, vermint; give it up!" Applejack snaps as she kicks at her opponent. "It's two against one!"

"Hey, look! It's Cheese Sandwich!" Spot exclaims, pointing at if seeing something.

"Cheese Sandwich, where," Pinkie giggles as she looks around, expecting Cheese Sandwich to be around. "I wanted his help with more parties."

"Pinkie, no," Applejack exclaims, but it's too late. Spot pulls Pinkie's hat over her eyes and pushes her into the orange pony, knocking them both down the stairs.

"Ha ha ha; Too easy," Spot exclaims to Fido in amusement.

"Yeah, they came here to rescue whiny pony and purple Alicorn but they are the ones who are in need of saving!" Fido remarks in agreement.

"Take that!" Spike exclaims as he kept on fighting Rover. But Pinkie and Applejack, trying to recover, collides with Spike after he was hit by the Diamond Dog leader, causing the two musketeers to lose their weapons, "My sword!"

Pinkie got her hat off her eyes as she place it back on her head. She, Spike and Applejack yelps as the three Diamond Dogs are pointing their swords at them, forcing the trio into the room. With Ben in hiding and Golden Heart and Pinkamena busy fighting the other Diamond Dogs, Spike's group are in big trouble.

"Not good." Spike said in concern. "Pinkie, Applejack, we got to do something or we will save the girls."

"Ha! Forget any plan of rescue, little Dragon!" Rover taunts Spike cruelly. "It's all over, your mangy excuse for musketeers!"

Pinkie then spots a familiar window, the same one she crashed into when Pinkie ran into the tower before. The pink pony begins acting like a blueprint and made her smirk. Yes, an idea! It just may work!

Applejack, noting her friend's smirk, asks, "Got a plan, Pinkie?"

"Yep, sure do!" Pinkie exclaims to her friends with a smile. "You're with me on this?"

"If you got a plan, then go for it." Spike said with a smile. Suddenly Pinkie grabs him and Applejack without warning. "Wait, Pinkie! What..."

"Hang on; Two ponies and a Dragon coming through!"

Pinkie quickly ram through the window with her friends in tow, causing them to scream as they fall right out just like Pinkie before. Applejack exclaims, "Great horny toads!"

"Uhhh, what just happened?" Spot ask his colleague in confusion. They just shrug. Either what Pinkie did was stupid or insane.

Of course, Pinkie got a good reason for this stunt. She and her friends kept on screaming and soon what happened before, happen again. The trio crash into the old tree that send them right back to the meadow...and into a familiar cow.

"You again," Daisy Jo scowls angrily. She then kicks the trio, sending them right into the windmill.

The windmill blades spin Spike, Pinkie and Applejack like mad before sending them flying away out of the mill and back into the tower. The Diamond Dogs were caught by surprise as they got smack by the trio, sending them right out of the tower screaming.

The Diamond Dogs kept on screaming until they fell right into the river with a splash. The minions resurface. Spot spits out ready, getting his boss's head full of more water. Rover frowns while groaning, "I hate these stories."

Ha! The Diamond Dogs are now down! Good work! In the next chapter, after the rescue, Spike made Rarity laugh. Could this be love? Only a love song can determine that. Read, review and suggest.
