(Author Note: This is a very short chapter compared to the other ones)

After Painter killed Colt he wasted no time, he went up to his room and started packing a few things into his backpack. Knitara came upstairs and into his room. She said with a worried look on her face: “why are you packing”?

Painter Responded: “I’m going to find the person who killed my father and avenge him”.

Knitara responded: “but it was the son of luna you… you can’t do this you might d-die”.

“And it’s a risk I’m willing to take. If I can stare into his eyes and see the monster that did this it’s worth it”. Knitara started to cry, knowing that she couldn’t convince him to stay. He finished packing but stayed the night. So he could rest up.

The next day, Painter woke up went down stairs and saw his mom had made him some pancakes for breakfast. He sat down and didn’t speak a word all he did was eat his breakfast went back upstairs and grabbed his things. When he came back down Knitara was standing in the middle of the room a few tears running down her face and she said: “take this”. She handed Painter a Sack full of food.

“Thanks mom”: Painter responded as he started walking out the door but was stopped by knitara’s voice, she said: “Please… be careful”. Painter gave a silent nod as he left.
