Painter Brush was in his room asleep, he was awoken by a loud crash coming from his living room. Being a Slight paranoid pony He always had a small knife hidden under his bed to be safe, so he grabbed it and ran down stairs.

When he got down he saw his Dad lying dead on the ground, he then looked up and saw a colt with a 357 revolver in hoof blood splattered all over his Light blue coat. Painter whipped out his knife and threw it at the murderer, he hit his right shoulder. The colt took the knife out of his shoulder, dropped it, and ran out the door spilling some blood.

Instead of giving chase Painter ran to his dead father’s body with his mom sobbing over him. He hugged his mom both of them crying into each other’s shoulders.

8 days later a funeral was held for Painter’s Father. A colt dressed in what looked like a police uniform walked up to him and said: “I’m very sorry for your loss”. He leaned in closer and whispered: “if there is anything I can do for you let me know”.

And almost immediately Painter Responded by handing him his knife and said: “Could you trace the blood for Dna and for hoof prints”? Also if you find out who he is could you tell me? The man responded with a silent nod and walked off with the knife.

Painter hadn’t gotten out much since the Funeral he mainly just sat in his room only coming out to eat and go to the bathroom.  4 days after the Funeral there was a knock on the door. Knitara, Painter’s mom opened the door the see Police Chief Colt Phelps. Knitara said: “Hello Officer come in, may I ask what you are doing here”?

Colt Responded: “Your son asked a favor of me”.

Knitara then asked: “what was it that he wanted”?

“He wanted to know who the killer was. He gave me his knife which had the man’s Hoofprints and blood on it”. She responded with a nod and then she yelled for Painter to come down from his room.

When he got down the saw Police Chief Colt Phelps standing there with a folder that was labeled “Evidence”, Painter walked up to Colt and said: “is this it”? Colt silently nodded and handed Painter the folder. He opened it up and looked at it for a few seconds closed it and said: “so the Adopted son of Princess Luna huh”?

“Yes, Um Painter now that you know who it was that killed your father what do you plan to do”: Colt Asked.

“I plan to take this evidence to princess Celestia. I would take it to Luna but she might be a bit more hesitant do defend Morning than Celestia would”.

“Sorry Painter, but I can’t let you do that”: Colt said in a very stern voice.

“What do you mean I can’t”: said Painter Brush in a very annoyed tone.

“You know too much and I think it’s time I kill you”: colt said while bringing out his pistol.

“But you gave me this evidence, why would you do that then kill me”: Painter Protested.

I didn’t think you would go that far with it, I thought you just wanted to know who killed your father”: Colt Responded.

Then Painter Yelled: “I’M GOING TO AVENGE MY FATHER”. He then pulled out a knife. and Colt reacted by firing his gun. It missed and hit the light bulb in the room. It was night time so there was no other light emitting into the room.  Colt started panicking, breathing very heavily, and aiming his gun in every direction. Then a shiver ran down his back, Painter went around behind him and placed his knife at his throat.

Then he said: “nighty night Colt”. Then with a quick swipe Colt was laying on the floor, with blood spraying out of his neck.
