Dirge, Midnight, Lightning Dust, and Trixie all exited the building and joined their leaders.

"What was that?" asked Dirge, standing by Gilda.

The griff eyed him. "Twilight... Newest member of the Elementals..."

"Newest member?" he asked. "Also the only one not locked up in the basement, right?"

"Correct, Dirge," Gilda replied. "Think you can take her on?"

"Oh, I know I can," he said with a smile, pulling out his gun.

"Cocky..." said Chrysalis. "Good... Go for it," she said, not taking her eyes off the mare in the far distance.

Dirge nodded and took off running.

Twilight smiled and aimed her gun before firing. The colt took cover near the hood of a parked car. The road was clear of traffic as everyone was attempting to avoid this street war as much as possible. He then reached around and fired towards Twilight.

The mare jumped back behind the van as the bullet hit where she was standing.

"Damn..." she muttered. "Good aim..."

She then stepped out and fired her grenade launcher.

"Shit," Dirge muttered, diving away from the car as it exploded.

Twi then began approaching him, firing her gun. "Come on!" she yelled. "Afraid of the nerd?!"

The colt growled and took cover behind another car. He then went around to the side of the car that was beside the sidewalk. He then quickly moved to the next cover, using the line of parked cars for cover as he made his way closer to Twilight.

Trixie chuckled. "Trixie would've taken her out by now..."

Chrysalis eyed her. "You want to go next?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

The unicorn nodded. "Most definitely..."

The Changeling smiled. "Then, have at it..." she said. "When Dirge fails-- and, he will fail... you may have a shot."

Trixie eyed her. "You think Trixie will succeed?"

Chrysalis chuckled. "I have yet to see the full potential of this mare, Trixie... I can not yet say..."

The last car in the line blew up as Dirge dove out of the way and tackled the unicorn to the ground.

"Gotcha!" he yelled, before going to punch her in the face.

Twi grabbed his fist and used her other hand to grab his neck. She then slammed her forehead into his and threw him off. The colt tumbled across the pavement, coughing before getting to one knee. Twilight quickly stood up and walked up to him before kicking him in the face, knocking him on his back.

"Stay down..." she said, looking down at him. "Don't fight."

Dirge smirked and quickly reached into his pockets, quickly whipping out a small, pocket-sized gun. Twi immediately lit her horn up and reached her hand out, making the gun fly out of his hands. As she did, Dirge used his other hand to quickly pull a small blade from his pocket and threw it at her. The sudden change in targets made it difficult for Twi to concentrate and she dropped to the ground, dodging the blade.

The colt then lunged at her as Twi rolled to the side and kicked him in the stomach. He let out a grunt and stumbled back as Twi quickly got to her feet. Dirge threw another punch as Twilight grabbed his fist with a grunt. Dirge threw another punch with his other hand and the mare caught that one, too.

"Not a very good brawler, are ya?" Twi teased.

"I prefer guns..." said Dirge with a smile. "Bullets cause more pain than fists."

"You sure about that?" asked Twilight, slamming her forehead into Dirge's, making him stumble back.

The unicorn then punched him across the face with her right hand before punching with her left. She then grabbed his shoulders and kneed him in the stomach before throwing him to the ground.

"Ah, fuck..." he groaned, looking and spotting his gun close-by.

Twilight let out a sigh and went to go pick up her assault rifle. "Give up, yet?" she asked, her back to the colt as she checked her ammo.

Dirge eyed her before slowly crawling towards his gun.

Chrysalis smiled as she watched. "Looks like Dirge might win this." She then looked over at Trixie. "So sorry... But, you may not get a turn."

The unicorn frowned. "And Trixie was really looking forward to it, too..." she muttered.

Twilight snapped her cartridge back into her gun and cocked it as Dirge grabbed his gun. Twi suddenly heard the sound of metal sliding across pavement and gasped, quickly whipping around and firing a single bullet. She then stared at the hole in the colt's head before he collapsed. The mare just stood there and panted, trying not to freak out that she straight up murdered someone.

"Wh... What..." she muttered, her hands starting to shake. "I..."

She slowly lowered her gun as she felt her heart rate increase.

Chrysalis' smile faded. "Damn... She's not that bad..." She then looked over to see Trixie with a smile on her face. "Yes, Trixie, you may have your turn.

"Yes!" the blue unicorn cheered, before walking towards Twi.

---

The purple mare watched blood start to pool around the colt's head when she suddenly heard the creaking of a car. She then quickly looked over and gasped, jumping out of the way as a car flew passed her. Ti then looked towards the hotel and saw Trixie approaching her.

"My turn!" the blue mare called, wand by her side. "Time to see how you fare against a fellow unicorn."

Twilight was sure she could defeat this mare but her current state of shock would make it very difficult for her to concentrate.
