Thanks to the overwhelming amount of support I have written another chapter, seriously people thanks, I didn’t think it was possible to get that many page views that fast. Anyways this story is moving a little fast but it will slow down once I get past the first three or four chapters. Also sorry in advance for jumping from so many points of view. One more thing I’m kind of color impaired so if I get a color wrong sorry.

chapter two

Shepard ran out of the library as fast as his pony legs would carry him and shoved his way through the crowd surrounding a very oddly colored group of ponies. One mare was almost chrome colored with a mane that was yellow with strakes of red. Another was a blue unicorn with a blue mane; one was a shade of purple with a silver mane; while the last mare was charcoal black with a matching mane. Of the three stallions one was a brown pegasus with a darker brown mane; one was green with a blue mane and half of his face was covered scars, and the final one was tanish.

“Well would you look at that, you look adorable Shepard.” The scarred one said in Garrus’s voice.

“I wouldn’t be talking Garrus, I had no idea scars could be so cute.” Shepard replied while he accepted an oddly balanced hug from Garrus.

“I’ve known that for a while.” The purple mare said in Tali’s voice casting an admiring glance towards Garrus.

“Ok so commander would you mind explaining to me what the hey happened inside of the Crucibal, wait why the hey did I say that, oh you are bucking kidding me!” the brown pegasus exclaimed in Joker’s voice.

“Jeff I believe that something here is disrupting our normal speech patterns, yet I can find no evidence of what.” Said the chrome pony in EDI’s voice

“Thanks EDI I figured that out by myself, anyways Commander what happened?”

“Yes Shepard what happened, I thought that I lost you again?” The black mare said in Ashley’s voice. Before he could say anything Twilight wormed her way through the crowed and shouted.

“Ok folks show’s over, I’ll let you know if we need any more assistance.” The crowd dispersed with surprising speed although they did grumble about not being up to date. “Few, now that that’s over why don’t you all follow me back to my library so that you can catch up without the eyes of everypony staring at you.” She told them. His crew looked at Shepard for confirmation and he nodded his head and motioned for them to follow Twilight. They made quite a group walking down Ponyville’s main street with Shepard in right behind Twilight, being flanked by Ashley and Garrus on his right, with Joker and EDI on his left.
The rest just fell in behind the first five.

When they made it back into the library Spike almost jumped in surprise at the sight of Garrus’s face to which Garrus smiled crinkling his scars in the process and asked.

“What’s the matter kid, never seen a scar?”

“Garrus be nice he’s obviously young.” Tali scolded Garrus who rolled his eyes and muttered something unintelligible. Twilight walked into the kitchen and returned seconds later carrying a large platter of apple tarts which she set on a side table and invited everyone to eat.

“Back to my question Commander what happened on the Crucibale?” Joker asked. Shepard told them about what had happened with the Illusive Man and how Anderson had died. Then he told them about the Catalyst and finally he told them about his choice to fuse all organics and synthetics. When he was finished Garrus let out a low whistle, Joker just looked at Shepard in shock, while Ashley put her arm around him.

“That certainly answers many of my previous questions…” EDI said before she was suddenly cut off by the outbursts of laughter that flowed from Rainbow Dash and Twilight, along with several currently unknown ponies who had entered the library while Shepard had been talking.

“Are you guys for real?” Dash asked she couldn’t keep the laughter out of her voice “I mean you expect us to believe that you all travel in ‘space ships’ and fought a giant war against being who wanted to wipe out all sentient life, oh and then you somehow wind up here as ponies, what kind of scam are you trying to pull?”

“Yeah and if we told our people this they would be laughing their flanks off, stupid filter, and hauling us off to a mental asylum.” Joker told her.

“Then again we did save the Galaxy three times over so I think they would give us some credit.” Said James

“You mean we saved the galaxy three times James, you were only there once.” Garrus told him rolling his eyes.

“Still if you want us believe you then you’re going to need some proof that you aren’t all a bunch of liars, because honestly I’m tired of humoring you!” Twilight told them seriously. “You’re all either telling the truth, lying, or delusional and frankly I can’t tell which is worse.”

“You know Sugarcube I’m the element of honesty and it really seemed to me that they were telling the truth.” A blonde pony with an orange coat wearing a cowboy hat told Twilight, she had been the only one not laughing.

“AJ Darling you can’t seriously believe this dribble.” Said a white unicorn.

“Considerin that this is comin from the one who still keeps ‘Tom’ in her room I wouldn’t be calling other ponies crazy Rarity.” Joker meanwhile was laughing his flanks off, he held up a hoof in apology before he finally got out

“I’m sorry Miss no offense but a pony who is a cowgirl, that’s just so unbelievable!” Garrus hit him lightly in the back of the head and said slowly.

“Joker the cowgirl pony is defending us to her friends who think, and not without good reason mind you, that we’re insane, Shut Up!”

“There is a very simple way to solve this dilemma, one that I believe that everyone is overlooking. Why don’t we simple ask this pony Luna who rescued us from certain death as the mass relay was collapsing.” Said Liara, the room was suddenly dead silent all of the other ponies gasped.

“She isn’t lying.” AJ said with certain clarity.

“Well this day keeps on getting more and more interesting.” said Garrus

Agent K was sitting around a small conference table surrounded by agents, A, L, M, and T. The room was shrouded in shadow and nopony could see the other’s faces, they didn’t need to of course, they already knew each other very well.

“Halleluiah Shepard finally got his lazy flank here!” K enthused drawing annoyed looks from the other agents except L.

“Simmer down K now that he’s here the real work begins.” Agent A said in a well practiced commanding officers voice.

“Yes but now we finally get some action, the rest of you don’t know what it’s been like, I’ve been here for years the rest of you just showed up recently!”K replied drawing sighs from the others; they had heard it many times before.

“K can we please keep this meeting on task? Like agent A said now the real work begins.” Agent M told K. “Agent S how goes the work?” M called over her shoulder.

“Slower thanks to your constant interruption, and I still think that M should have been my callsign!” Said agent S rapidly barely stopping for breath as he stepped into the room.

“Mordin we’ve gone over this you’re agent S because you were the only salarian, plus your last name is Solus.”

“Your first argument is invalid, if that were true then Thane would be agent D, but I digress. The work goes slowly and will continue to go slowly as long as you keep pestering me!” the former salarian told them before he left the room in a huff.

“Way to go Miranda, what was it that Jack called you? Oh I remember… cheerleader.” Agent K said sarcastically, Miranda almost got up from the table but she was stopped by a commanding bark from Agent A

“All of you be quite we have things to do and the sooner we can get out of this musty basement the better!”

“We must watch all of the moving pieces with care. One wrong move could get Shepard Commander killed, again.” Said Agent L

“You’re bucking kidding me!” Twilight almost shouted as she read the letter from Celestia. “Apparently they’re telling the truth, although Luna wasn’t supposed to have done it. Now it’s too late to reverse so we might as well learn to live with having these ponies around.” AJ looked smug.

“I told you Twilight not a dishonest heart in the bushel.” Twilight sighed and facehoofed before she turned to her guests who were currently talking on the ground floor eating more tarts provided by AJ

“I guess now we need to find a place or places for them all to sleep.” Twilight said despondently.

“Leave that to me Twi I can get them something extra special good!” Pinkie said as she bounced up and down “I just need to go and say high to Deadpool and Dresden real fast, be back soon.” Pinkie told them before jumping out the open window and vanishing from sight.

“Should we be concerned about this?” Twilight asked her friends who had known Pinkie longer then her. They just shook their heads, Twilight sighed again, it was going to be a long week.

“Well that was interesting.” Ashley told Shepard later that evening rolling over to the other side of the bed that they shared.

“You’re telling me!” Shepard replied.

“So what happens now Shepard, do we stay here, or do we try to find a way back?”

“Ash I hate to remind you but I died back there, twice and technically I should have died the first time to, I really don’t want to go back.” Shepard told her softly

“You think I don’t know?” Ash responded anger seeping into her voice “Buck Ethan I went through it to, we all did! You know what; it sounds like you’re going soft on me!” Shepard let her anger roll over him like a wave.

“That wasn’t what you were saying a moment ago Ash, I think it was something about softer.” Shepard told her with a smile on his face, Ash snorted but with laughter not anger.

“Don’t die on me again Ethan; I couldn’t deal with losing you and then you coming back to life again!”

“I don’t plan on it Ash, now let’s get some sleep, we have a meeting with royalty tomorrow.”

“Ha, they are going to regret that!”

Shepard walked down into the commons of the large house that Pinkie had somehow managed to build in twenty minutes to find that he and Ash were the last one’s to arrive.

“Hey Shepard did you notice the fact that I can bucking FLY!” Joker yelled as he soared over Shepard’s head.

“Actually Joker I assumed that the wings were for swimming.” Shepard replied smiling. He saw Garrus and Tali sitting in a corner talking quietly. “So did you two have a good night?” Shepard asked them.

“Brilliant, these bodies are a lot more flexible then the suites.” Tali replied

“Likewise.” Shepard told them. “So who’s coming with me to see the princesses?” he asked.

“I think that it would be best if you only brought three of us with you commander, we wouldn’t want to give them the impression that we’re hostile.” Liara told him. “I suggest EDI, Garrus and myself.”

“Anyone else want to come?” Shepard asked his assembled crew.

“Not me, I tend to make bad impressions on people above my pay grade.” Joker said

“I want to come just to see their faces.” Ash said and Shepard motioned her over to where he was standing. The others gave their reasons for declining. Shepard and his party left the house heading for Twilight’s house where they were supposed to meet the chariot that would take them to the puny named Canterlot. When they got there they were met by a large golden painted chariot which was being drawn by twelve muscular pegasi wearing what looked like Roman centurion armor. Twilight and her friends were also there, excluding Pinkie Pie who had said something about helping the districts fight the Capitol, whatever that meant.

“Why do I get the feeling that they think we’re dangerous?” Garrus asked Liara sardonically.

“If they know our track record then it is actually a good thing in this case, it means that they respect us.” She replied

“Oh I know, I just don’t like them trying to intimidate us, it’s the principle of the thing.” He told her.

“I didn’t think that anything short of a Reaper could scare the King of Calibrations.” Shepard interrupted quietly drawing laughter from everyone but EDI and the other ponies.

“If you’re all done snarking at each other then we really need to get to Celestia and Luna, besides snarking is my job!” Twilight told them in a huff.
