They sat together on the large brown chair. Their arms wrapped around each other's body as they embraced their warmth. Their lips connected as their tongues twisted inside their mouths. As they parted, they stared deeply into each other's eyes. Tears overwhelming them.

"I thought I lost you." The stallion croaked, tightly hugging the mare. The cried on each other's shoulder as they held themselves.
"It didn't feel right without you by my side. Without you here."

"I know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for accusing you. I'm sorry for holding a grudge. I'm sorry, I love you." She hushed as she kissed him.

"It's fine. It's okay. As long as you are here with me, I don't care what happened." Soarin gently pushed away the mare, parting them from their hug.
"I'm just so happy that you're alive. The past few weeks have been hell."

"I heard. Equestria is falling apart. Twilight is hypnotised. Both Celestia and Cadence have lost their magic. Discord is dying and Luna is beginning to weaken. Our forces have been obliterated." Rainbow sighed as her lover wrapped a wing around her.

"I know. The Creed is barely holding out. I'm not a good assassin. It was hard at first to actually kill someone. But then...." He trailed off.

"Hey, hey." The mare hushed. "It's okay. It's okay. You're doing what is right. And that's protecting Equestria."

"Yeah...but...how do you do it? How do you slit their throats? How do you watch their life drain away? How do you?" He questioned, staring at the pegasus.

She sighed as she held head down. Her fringe covering her face.
"I don't know. I was brought into this world as an assassin. And I shall always be an assassin. I guess, when you start off young, it's easier to kill when you're older."

"But how? How can you watch?"

"Heh, call me dark in all, but...I like it. I sound crazy, but I enjoy watching them die." She muttered, making the stallion beside her shake slightly. "They did bad things, Soarin. They did horrible things to other ponies, and I'm just making sure that they get their just desserts. And that's watching them die a slow and painful death. I make sure that I don't completely cut into an artery. They die slower that way. Bleeding painfully." Her head shot up, and she blinked a couple of times before turning to the scared stallion. Who turned quite pale.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to say it like that. It just happened." She sheepishly grinned. Soarin relaxed as he gazed at her innocent smile. Remembering why he fell for her.

"At least you're here. Everypony has seemed to have cheered up. Have some hope."

"Ah-ha! Well, they should have even more hope! I found a partner!!" Rainbow jumped up, flapping her wings as she landed elegantly. Her cloak swiftly flowing.

"A...partner...?" Soarin squeaked.

"I mean a partner of the Creed. I would never leave you again. I promise, Soarin." She delicately kissed the stallion on his lips before trotting to the door.
"Because I went rogue, I've been allowed back into the Creed. I'm still a master assassin, but I'm not the leader any-more."

"You're not?" The pegasus stallion got up and walked over to the mare by the door.

"No, but I am by your side. I will help you. It is what my vows said. To be forever by you." She lifted up his hoof and held it to her chest.
"Forever. I'll never leave you alone again."

"Forever." They smiled as their snouts touched. Unaware of the door creaking open.

Before anypony could react, the door madly swung open. Startling the two ponies. A mare jumped into the door, with a smirk across her face. Her caramel curls bouncing around.

"Come on, you lovebirds!! It's time to slaughter some griffin!!" She proudly shouted. Fluttering her black wings in excitement. Soarin stared at the scarlet mare with a confused expression.
"Come on!! I can't wait!! None of us can!! Now, come on, Dashery!!"

"Yes, yes, calm down, Taire." Rainbow shook her head, smirking at the scarlet mare's sudden hyperactivity. Reminding her of a certain pink mare. Soarin and herself began walking down the halls- which still had blood covering them. The stallion just smiled at the giddy pegasus.

"Calm down? Calm down?! We've waited many a moon for this day!! My shadows are just tingling to get started!!" She skipped, unaware of the blood on the floor.
"OoOoo! And after this, I'll finally be pony!! A real pony!!" She squealed in delight. Soarin came to halt and stared at his lover.

"Oh, sorry. I forgot. Soarin, this is Solitaire. An old friend of mine. And a very old friend of the Creed. She's known as a shadow blade assassin. A.k.a. a shadow pony." She explained, watching as friend jumped around.

"A shadow pony? Pttf! They're just an old mare's tale. They don't exist." He snorted. The two stopped as Solitaire began to slip on a puddle of blood. She squealed as she fell to the floor. Usually, a normal pony would hit the ground. And moan in pain from the hard ground. However, Solitaire was no normal pony. Soarin yelled out as the mare evaporated into a black mist. The mare beside him unable to hold in her giggles.
Soarin stared wide eyed at the last place where the black mist was, his mouth hung wide. Completely oblivious to the red mare beside him.

"Watch out for the shado~ows." She whispered eerily. Soarin yelped and jumped up like a scared cat, falling to the ground. Making the two mares giggle madly. He grumbled as he glared at the scarlet mare, who held out her hoof.
"My apologises, sir. I'm just so excited." She pulled up the stallion, who stared daggers at her.

"If you're a shadow pony, why are you here?" He asked.

"I'm here to help my homeland. The griffins don't deserve such. And anyway, if I do this, I can finally feel like a pony!!" She squealed again as she hovered into the air. Soarin turned to the mare he loves, as she was sniggering away.

"Don't mind her. She can be serious, and formal. But then at times, she's like this. Another version of Pinkie Pie. Hmm...I need them two to meet...actually now....they'll end the world." Rainbow muttered.

"No we won't!! Just the forth wall!!" Solitaire shouted from somewhere down the corridor. The two ponies shared a look of worry before bursting into laughter.

"Don't worry, Equestria is in safe hooves." Rainbow giggled.

"I hope so. Equestria is crumbling away as we speak." The stallion muttered as they trotted out of the halls. Hoping that they had enough time to save the land they love, before it was to fall.

Author's Notes:

Uuuuurrrrrrrrgggggggg!!!!!! I dislike this chapter. I just got bored and since we haven't had a chapter in a while, I threw this together. It was going to be a full on romance chapter, but I gave up. So here it is.
Also, before I forget, I will be away for two weeks from the 20th to the 3rd. I'm off to London. (Ah! I hate flying!( ≧Д≦) Ironic as most of my ocs are pegasi (シ_ _)シ). I might attempt to get another chapter (Dislestia) but we'll see.

Thank you for reading and comment below (Please comment. I'm so alone..・゜゜・(/。\)・゜゜・)
