Sir Hammerlock looked through his personal telescope while I looked at my map on my echo to make sure it was the right one. It was noon and the sun alone in the sky with not a cloud. Sir Hammerlock stopped the boat by putting an anchor.

"I see a nice place where we can place our boat if we can clear out the Bullymongs there.", Sir Hammerlock put away his scope in his shirt-pocket.

"Lets go.", I said as Sir Hammerlock started the engines, pulled the anchor up, and gave me the wheel.

About 100 ft away from the shore, the bullymongs on shore started to throw debris at our boat.

"Get ready Twilight, as soon as I turn this ship around"

"LETS KICK SOME ASS WOOO!", Twilight said as I put the engines on full throttle, the hull of the ship was able to absorb much more than the debris that was being thrown at us. Claptrap was in a box and shaking.

I hit the metaphorical handbrake on the boat (boats don't have breaks), the boat rotated and the rear of the boat hit the shore and cracked the ice_not damaging the boat though (damn this boat is tough).

"SAY CHEESE!", Twilight said psychotically as she let hell break loose with her minigun. I backed her by using my LMG.

A tiny bullymong jumped right onto the boat but I quickly put it to sleep with a blast from my double-barrel.

With Twilight killing at least 20 more she stook out her tongue like a metal rock star and I took out my AN-94, put it on 2 round burst and at bullymongs in the back.

We did it, we killed them all.

Blake: 24 kills

Twilight: 33 kills

Me and Twilight hopped off the boat when Sir Hammerlock spoke, "You find a way to Sanctuary and get a vehicle, I'll watch Claptrap here."

"More fun for us.", Twilight said as we walked away.

"We can take care of ourselves, we need Claptrap alive anyways for whatever.", Twilight nodded.

We saw icy valley up ahead with a bridge that went perpendicular to it above it but then suddenly a vehicle went over the bridge and hand braked half-way.

We heard a public broadcast, "You'll never have Sanctuary and...", the vehicle blew up the bridge with some rockets "...you bloodshots can stay in your holes.".

Another broadcast came in to reply, "Hmm maybe we'll turn around and... DIE"

Another vehicle came into view and started firing it's 50 cal at the other vehicle then they disappeared in a hot pursuit.

With us scratching our head I spoke, "What the hell just happened?"

"I think they need our help...", she ran, "...lets go!", I ran after her and then we stood in front of a strange machine which said "Catch-a-Ride.", that stood in front of the destroyed bridge.

"I think we can use a vehicle from here to jump that gap.", I hit a button next to the machine and a voice came from the intercom.

"Hey trying to hack my catch-a-ride? Uncool man uuuunnnncooool"

"Who's this?"

"This is Scooter and you won't get any car bandit."

"We are not bandits, we are Vault Hunters and we can help out your friend over here, so please send us a car."

Scooter sighed "Okay, these vehicles are not safe, cheap, or reliable, but umm CATCH-A-RIDE!"

He disconnected and opened the Catch-a-ride.

"We may not be able to catch up to them but we can at least warn Sanctuary."

I made a black 2-seater runner car with a fixed gun in the drivers seat and a 360 gunner seat for the second seat.

Thankfully I just got my drivers license back on my world.

"You take gunner, I'll drive."

We got in our runner and started the engine.

VROOM!!

I gained as much momentum as possible before trying to make the jump.

"HOLD ON!"

I smashed the gas pedal and we went over the bridge in just five seconds and landed with a small headache, the bridge led to a Bullymong infested tunnel,

Twilight and I used the weapons on our vehicle to blow the bullymongs out of the way. At the end of the tunnel a light shown and we were out of that hell hole into a big, wide-open, snowy field with no clue of where the chase went. So we decided to follow the blip on our minimaps. After a minute of going at 60 mph we discovered some bandits trying to get into the gate of what is probably sanctuary,

"LET US IN GRINDER WE ARE ONLY GOING TO KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF YA!"

"Sorry to ruin your party.", I said as I braked and Twilight pointed her .50 cal.

"Huh?", the bandit replied and turned around, he spoke again, "Now just who the hell are you?".

"Your worst nightmare.", 'Yet another line stolen', I thought.

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG

I blew the guy to smithereens with my machine gun while Twilight went .50 cal on the other bandits, I noticed that some new type of bandits (nomads) with some big wardrobes that were slower than regular bandits but absorbed more bullets. The rest of the bandits were in a small complex on the left which Twilight was able to kill most.

Once they were all dead I pushed the button on the side of the gate, a holographic projection of a soldier on top and said,

"Your not getting in you bloodshot skaglicks!"

"Don't worry we took care of em', we are Vault Hunters."

He gasped, "Oh I am so sorry, let me get Roland on the horn."

And soon enough Roland echoed me, "So these are the Vault hunters that I have been hearing about."

"Yeah names Blake Williams and you?"

"Names Roland, leader of the Crimson Raiders and Sanctuary, you sound young."

"He he yeah I am 17 but I have been trained well and can handle myself pretty well, me and my girlfriend here took out Captain Flynt and his bandits."

"Wow you two must be pretty good, I used to be a Vault Hunter like you."

"WAIT are you the one of the four that opened the Vault?"

"Why yes and I can't exactly tell you the condition of the others on echo but I will in person."

"Oh I heard one of your guys were chased by some bloodshots on the echo."

"That was probably captain Reiss, it has been too long and we need him back in Sanctuary with the new power core for our shields. Get captain Reiss and/or the power core and I'll get you into Sanctuary.", Roland put in the coords on my minimap.

"Yes sir and over and out.", I turned to Twilight and she spoke, "So we need to get this Reiss guy huh?"

"Yeah it appears so, let's go."

I got hoped into my vehicle and drove off to find Reiss.

A few minutes later I followed my minimap to find an area blip in the area.

"Let's see what clues.", I hopped out of my vehicle.

Twilight pointed a hoof, "Is that a tape?"

I looked in her direction to find a tape and played it, it had Captain Reiss in it.

"We are heading to a bandit camp a mile southeast of here, If any body finds this I need HELP!"

A bandit intervened, "YOUR DEAD MEAT GRINDER", End of tape.

"Shit, it sounds like he is in trouble...!", I hoped back in, "..."lets keep moving southeast."

A minute later we were stopped by by a blockade made of fang-like teeth.

"Looks like we are walking, it isn't too far either.", Twilight said, as we hopped out of our vehicle and covered it with camo.

I took out my Bandit LMG while Twilight took out her Daul Carbine, "Ready?", I cocked my Fire RPD.

"Ready, let's go fucking save his ass.", Twilight said while cocking her gun in response.

Bullymong of an extensive range of sizes saw us,

My shots made some bullymongs screech from getting burned alive while Twilight's Carbine just tore through them.

Twilight was about to be tackled by a huge bullymong but was tricked by a decoy. The real Twilight took out her .500 revolver and blew its head off, point blank and sliced another bullymong's head off behind her. With the beautiful glow of bullymongs dying in agony I laughed psychotically like I always do while Twilight shot four more bullymongs in four seconds with her pistol, she took out her shells from her pistol and took out her PP-2000 and shot another to death.

Captain Reiss's voice was heard nearby, "HEEEEELLLLLLP!"

"Shit!", me and Twilight hurried over to the noise to find out him being pummeled to death on the ground by three bandits. Twilight quickly used three shrunken to kill the three bandits.

"Oh shit are you okay?", I said as we ran up to him.

"Those... *cough* bandits r-ran off with the *cough* power core, without it sanctuary will be defenseless. *cough* Just tell me when I am not on Pandora anymore.", his breathing stopped.

"DAMMIT...", I pounded his chest armor, "We're too late!"

Twilight sighed and went over to the body and grabbed the tags, "It looks like we need to finish what he started."

I put a shoulder on Twilight and smiled, "I appreciate you knowing how to honor the fallen, now let's go get ourselves a power core!", I cocked my Vladof Assault rifle while Twilight cocked her Daul sniper rifle.

With a tear she said, "For fucking Reiss."

I spotted a bandit camp close by, got out my drone and put my LMG on it, "Make daddy proud.".

Twilight and I started to battle cry to the bandit camp, ran and open fired. An occupied guard tower was on watch with an LMG turret but that was soon taken over by an invisible Twilight and chosen as a her vantage point.

"That's my girl.", I whispered to myself as I precisely took out a nomad in the face from behind cover. I thought of a nice idea and took out my Torque missile launcher and shot at a front row of enemies so the after smoke could give my drone an 'entrance'.

BANG!

Twilight shot a crane and it crashed on to a group of enemies.

Out of assault rifle ammo, I pulled out my Tediore semi-auto pistol.

BANG!

I felt a bullet whiz by past me and into a psycho right next to me, 'Nice one', I thought.

Twilight got out of her spot and met me by the door with her SMG and me with my pistol.

I gestured a "3 2 1" then,

BASH!

I threw in a MIRV grenade and it killed everyone inside. Twilight went in first and went into the bandit leader's quarters of the camp and slashed the head off of the leader with her katana.

In his locker we busted open we found the power core, "Here it is." I said as I put it in my Digital Inventory.

"Looks like we are done with the whole camp."

"Lets go home my love."

We ran back to our vehicle in flames for some reason, but hell there was a catch-a-ride next to it so I made it another runner with a rocket turret and purple paint.

With the sun setting we rode into it and drove straight towards to our boat.

RRRRRRRR!

The car handbraked, "Ready?", and just like that they got on but crammed in.

Upon exiting our vehicle and entering the outer gates of Sanctuary,

A voice called out to us from to the right next to a machine "Oh hey Vault Hunters, Roland hasn't come back from his mission yet so I am in charge."

"So you wanted a new power core, what for exactly?", upon hearing Twilight speak the soldier's eyes widened.

"Oh wow you can talk? This is amazing eeeeee!", we raised brows at this.

The soldier spoke again, "Oh I am sorry, my name is Pvt. David and that power core there is supposed to replace...", he pointed to the machine by him, "...this old one that will sustain these shields for another week from Jack's lunar mortars, so just give me the new power core anyway and you'll be off to the inner gates of San..", he paused as he noticed something, "Where's Captai Reiss?"

I sighed and gave him his dog tags, "He didn't die in vain I am sure of it."

He sighed, "I'll tell his family and Roland of his death and thanks for retrieving his dog tags for him."

"It is the least I can do for him."

After popping out the old power core the shields went out then the shields went back on again after putting in the new power core.

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM

I saw that the 'H' shaped satellite shoot mortars at the shield, the shield barely made a scratch.

'Strong shield.', I thought.

We walked further into the city and we found another soldier waiting at the gate then David yelled at him,

"SOLDIER, stand up straight! We have a couple Vault hunters headed your way.", We both smiled at this praise.

"Yes sir.", he stood straight with a salute.

Upon reaching the inner gate the soldier spoke, "Here we go and...", he pressed a button on the side of the gate, "say hello to Sanctuary and Scooter said he wanted to talk to you."

The gate opened to reveal a run down but nice-enough looking little town. On the left said "Scooter's", on top on a garage door so we went there.

Sir Hammerlock and Claptrap went their separate ways while we went towards Scooter's.

The garage door automatically opened to reveal a person (probably scooter) with his feet rested on a tire.

Scooter looked up at us, "Oooh Crap ah you Hyperion? I hear you robots eat metal out of garbage and stuff. Knew you wired death machines would be coming for us once Roland went missing. If you are here to kill me you should probably know...", he jumped up and stood on his tire with a wrench in his hand, "YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE YOU ROBOT SUM OF A BITCH!!"

"Do we look like a robots?", I said in confusion on what just happened.

He calmed down and continued, "Oh you are Vault Hunters huh?"

"No shit!"

"Oh cool that is like meeting a un...", upon seeing Twilight, "u-u-UNICORN!"

Scooter had a 'nerdgasm', and was talking to him self really fast, "Oh my god a Unicorn I never thought I would have thought to meet one in person, are you a Vault Hunter too, a unicorn that's a Vault hunter that is soooo cool!"

He held out a permanent marker and his wrench to Twilight.

"Can you sign my wrench?"

She took the marker and signed her full name on the wrench and spoke, "Well if it makes you feel better, name's Twilight Sparkle"

"OH MY GOD YOU CAN TALK, EEEEEEEEE!"

"Names Blake and are you Alright, Scooter? I believe we met on the catch-a-ride not a while ago?"

"He he sorry...", Scooter rubbed the back on his head, "...um Roland said we need a strategic plan b or as I would like to call it, Turn-this-city-into-a-floating-ass-fortress-of-airborne-awesomeness.", he chuckled.

"And how are we going to do that?"

"This city here used to be a Ship for the Daul Corporation and you are going to need the two fuel cells here and the last one from Earl's Black market from this eridium here...", he pulls out several bars of purple, glowing of eridium, "Careful with Earl though he is crazy he ate my whole car once with like that of a fork."

"Okay, well lets get to fixing this city's flying."

"You should check out the whole town while you are at it, the people here may be crazy but they'll help you sorta."

I waved as we took our objective items and headed out back, "Thanks we'll try."

We went up stairs and went into a small alley way.

"Hey this says "Dr Zed", wanna check him out?", Twilight said.

"Sure"

Upon entering we heard some screaming and saw a surgeon operating on an Hyperion-looking guy.

The patient spoke, "I am starving, I WANNA EAT YOUR BABIES.", upon hearing this, Twilight and I gagged a little.

The surgeon replied with a syringe, "This won't sting a bit.", he rammed the syringe into his chest with him still alive.

The surgeon looked at us, "Oh hey you are those new Vault hunters, why I am Dr. Zed and I see one of you are a purple pony."

"Finally some one gets it right.", she said.

"I am Blake and this is Twilight."

"Can I,...", Dr, Zed held out a Clipboard with a pen and held it to Twilight.

The clipboard said sign here, "Just sign here."

"Okay.", she signed it and Dr. Zed took the clipboard and went, "YES!", he hugged the clipboard, "oh oh oh."

"Um are you okay?", Twilight said.

"Oh sorry.", he put away the clipboard, ", just come to me one of my vending machines if you need healing or need a new shield."

"Ooookay."

Upon exiting the place, "Awkward", she and I said.

"You know I want meet this Marcus guy and according this map he is on the other side of Sanctuary."

"I want to meet him too and he is on the way to Earl's too", she said.

We went down stairs into Marcu's safe and found a chubby guy behind bars arguing with a guy with a mohawk.

"I am sorry but can I have a refund please? This gun doesn't seem to work."

The chubby one replied while inspecting the customer's revolver, "Hmm I don't know."

BANG!, AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

The customer screamed with a bullet in his leg, "Looks like it works to me!", he smiled fiendishly.

With him unconscious on the floor we went up to Marcus, "Welcome to Marcus's gun store what can I get- ooh Vault hunters!"

"Um we just wanted to drop by and say hi.", Twilight said.

"Oh how I have something for you."

He handed out an assault rifle to Twilight confused, "What is-"

She was interrupted when Marcus held out a permanent marker in his other hand and smiled.

Twilight yelled, "OH COME ON not you too!"

"I just never met a unicorn/Vault hunter before, it was always my dream to meet one."

"Fine.", she took the two objects and signed her name on the assault rifle.

I can hear Marcus whisper to himself, "Oh they are going to be so jealous.".

"This is Twilight and I am Blake by the way."

"Well if you are interested, I will let you sample some elemental weaponry, you'll need the knowledge to take on enemies tactically."

Twilight spoke, "Sure we'll take the sample."

"Meet me in the back."

We met in another firing range, a table with 4 four pairs of different colored Maliwan pistols.

"Now,...", he hands us both an orange-glowing pistol by there barrels.

A live target came up in the firing range,

"...just incase you are new to Elemental weaponry, fire will be very effective again flesh but crap at destroying shields."

"GO TO HELL BANDITS.", the target said.

"Now, burn that imperialist bastard like a skag steak."

"Yum.", Twilight said.

BANG BANG BANG.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

Our pistols burned the target alive, "Aha Fire and flesh, a nasty combination. Now, lets try a shielded target."

now we we were off to trying two blue-glowing maliwan pistols and another target who has an apparent shield.

"This Hyperion fascist thinks he's safe because he has a shield. Spoilers he isn't."

"IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME UNTIL JACK BURNS THIS CITY TO THE GROUND, YOU RESISTANCE SCUM!"

"Take that you Jack lover, A few hits from a shock weapon will zap it away quicker than you can say buyer's remorse."

"Cool" I and Twilight said in unison.

"Now what else, ah Armor.", he said as a robot target came into view, he handed out two maliwan green-glowing pistols, "Armored targets like these damed Hyperion robots, can take a lot of damage ...unless you got a corrosive weapon."

The robot spoke, "Weapons may be only be sold by Hyperion representatives. All non-hyperion dealers will be-"

BANG BANG BANG

The acid soaked through the robot's metal.

"Oh yeah.", Twilight said.

"I got to admit I love corrosive weaponry."

"I can't agree more."

"Now lets try out new Slag weaponry, now Slag is a bit more complex. If you slag your enemy, it will impede movement and all non-slag weaponry will hurt it even more.", he tossed us each a purple-glowing pistol, "now, slag this chump."

BANG BANG, AAAHHHH!

"Now switch to any of your other weapons and hit him again."

In a second Twilight took out her .500 cal.

BANG!

The target's head got blown off.

Marcus laughed, "Now if you want to purchase any elemental weapons like these, you can always get some from your neighborhood arms dealer."

"BUY ANYTHING and I'll toss in this crap fuel cell, I only take eridium, cash is for clowns boy."

"Okay.", I said from behind a door with an eye slot in it, we brought some extra digital storage for our metaphorical backpacks with some memory chips that we plugged into out echos and soon enough we got our third fuel cell.

We headed to the center of town to be greeted by a stand with a public echo by Handsome Jackass,

"I hear couple of Vault hunters has arrived in your city, turn them into me and you'll be rewarded!"

Another broadcast came in, "Don't worry no one will turn you in we need you to take down Handsome Jack"

I replied back, "Thank and tell if anybody tries anything I will kill them."

"WHAT THE FUCK!", I heard Twilight yelled as she looked at our wanted posters.

Blake Wanted: $1,000,000,000 for arsin, profanity, murder, vandalism, etcetera.

Twilight wanted: $999,999,999,999,999.99 for Siren.

"WHAT?!", I said, "That's fucking bullshit, you are wanted for being a what now?"

"I think that refers to me being a being of magic.", Twilight replied.

"This guy really pisses my off, I am going to fucking rip his eyes out for trying to frame us.", I said coldly and sighed.

"Well lets put in these fuel cells."

With that we installed the fuel cells which weren't really hard and Scooter echoed,

"You done? Good now see the fruits of your loins THIS CITY IS GONNA FLY!".

We heard it trying to start but then a failing sound,

BOOM!

"Or not, damn now we really gotta find Roland, check his place to see if he left anything as a clue."

We walked over to the new blip on our mini maps and found a soldier waiting by the door to Roland's

"Here vault hunters...", he held out some keys, "Roland left a message for you."

With that we used the key on the door to be introduced to a lady with goggles and short hair.

She spoke, "..now I require a new ventilator, this lab smells of bacon: bacon's for sycophants and products of incest."

"HEY!", Twilight said.

"Don't listen to her, anyway who are you?", I spoke.

"The name's Tannis and after hours of scientific insanity you can only imagine in your dreams and in my bed_standing over_ I have deduced that Jack, the Vault key and the eridium are all connected on a deeper level."

Twilight whispered to me, "She is CRAZY and rude too!"

I spoke, "Well he he, I am Blake and this is Twilight and we'll be going now."

We walked up stairs and a another hallway, one door labeled, "for you vault hunter" and inside we found a king sized bed and a safe. On the bed was a tape recorder.

"Play it.", Twilight said.

Rolands voice sounded, "Hi soldier if your hearing this I am in trouble, right now you are the only thing standing between Jacks army and the whole planet, I left some info on my whereabouts in your room's safe, use it to store anything you need, this is your home now good luck."

"Let's see what's in our safe.", I said as I opened the gigantic safe to reveal a huge empty room with nothing but another tape recorder,

I hit play on it to reveal a low voice, "This is the Firehawk, come to Frostburn Canyon or people will die"

"The Firehawk?", I said wondering.

"That's strange.", Twilight said.

"I know, why would he have this in his safe before he left?"

"You think maybe the Firehawk maybe a friend of Roland?"

"That is a possibility and I may have an idea why that could be!"

"I know where they are keeping Roland", said a female voice on our echos.

"Who is this?"

"I am Angel and I am here to help you out just like I did with the four last Vault hunters who opened the Vault."
