Buckberg,  Hoofer, and Pinecone stood in the recording room, they were busy discussing the planned beat for their newest song with one of the most famous DJ's in Equestria. "You get what we want with this whole thing, right Vinyl?"  The DJ lifted her goggles up and gave the three a playful look. "Come on. You know who you're talking to right?"

Buckberg was about to reply when the sudden buzz from the intercom interrupted them. "Hey guys, Rainbow Dash is here."  Buckberg trotted over towards the intercom and buzzed the receptionist back. "Great! Send her in!" A few minutes later, the great and all awesome Rainbow Dash trotted through the door.

"Hey guys." Rainbow said with a grin, her trademark sunglasses hanging just above her eyes, a cap twisted backwards just over her rainbow colored mane. "Hi! Yeah, thanks for coming Rainbow, I mean man.. It's awesome working with another one of the legendary Elements."

"Yeah yeah, I heard the songs you made with my other two friends. They were.. Meh. Since you're doing this one with me it'll be like, way more awesome. Yeah, sorry about being a teeny bit late. I got real caught up in the new Daring Do book. You colts ever read those things?"

The three stallions nodded their heads "Uh yeah, can't get enough of that Daring Do. Anyway, you listen to the track yet?" "Duh! And I loved it, you guys are pretty cool. Nowhere near as cool as me though. But yeah, I totally got this awesome hook that you're all going to just dig."

"Oh that's great Rainbow Dash, should we just start off right now?" Buckberg asked. "Colts." Rainbow flipped her sunglasses down over her eyes. "Let's get to it." Vinyl Scratch quickly hopped over towards her DJ equipment, the music suddenly starting up.

"Here we go.. Ungh, lonely Coltland, Rainbow Dashie.." The three stallions started out in unison, Rainbow Dash added a "YEAAAAH!!" after her name was spoken. "Party starts now, together on the track, the ponies are back. Party starts now baby roll with us, mares glancin' at our ride when we rollin' up."

The song continued relatively well, until Pinecones last line of the first verse. "Wing on my side, horn on m'head, you either get zapped, get smacked or get bucked", afterwards Rainbow Dash burst in with her 'Awesome hook'.

"This is the tale! Of The Great Daring Do, a mare so great,  exploring the unknown!" Buckberg glanced at the singing Pegasus "W..What..?" But his question was drowned out as the mare continued to sing "A mystical Quest, in the land of Equestria! Awesomeness follows, close in her steed!"

The song continued normally afterwards. the members of the Lonely Coltland pondering the mares rather random passionate lines in the song about Daring Do. They would have brushed it off if Rainbow didn't keep randomly singing the fictional characters name every few lines.

Buckberg's next line came up and, hoping to save the bands song he pushed forward. "Watch it mare cause I ain't your mister nice colt, more like the meet ya take ya home and buck ya twice colt! All dressed up with nowhere to trot, and now I make ya feel crazy with th-" Buckberg's lines were interrupted suddenly by Rainbow Dash's singing.

"Now back to the good part! From the day she was born, she yearned for adventure!" Buckberg facehoofed. "Noooo.. Damnit.." "The Great Daring Do, giving them what for! She's the explorer of the old." "Yeah uh huh.." "The Badass of Equestria!" "Oh Celestia.." "But in Ahuitzotl traps, what lies in store?"

Buckberg glanced at the other two members of Lonely Coltland, both just gave him a little shrug before hitting up their own lines. "Put your hooves in the air and yell buck yeah! Come on!" "Daring Do!" "What?" "Rainbow Dash!" "No.." "From the front to the back say hay ya!" "Ahuitzotl!" "Nope..." "Giant Panther!" "Wrong!"

Buckberg tried to quiet down the DJ, without success. She was far to into her own work to even notice the lyrics. So the stallion decided to sing the next part, luckily it seemed that his companions had the same thing in mind. "Rainbow Dashie, we're really gonna need you to focus up!"

Rainbow flicked her glasses up with a single hoof and stared at the three. "Oh yeah, I got it! let me try another book!"

The three stallions looked absolutely horrified at the idea. "Wait n-"

"Life is a tray of muffins and my name is Derpy Hooves!" Rainbow sang,

"Not better!" The three stallions sang back

"Though I'm not the best mailmare, I give dinky all my love!"

"Come on!" Buckberg yelped.

"Alright then, I'm a shy librarian, Twilight Sparkle is my name!"

"Oh Celestia no!"

Buckberg was about to stop Vinyl's playing when a pink earth pony seemed to appear out of literally nowhere. She stood besides Rainbow Dash, both of them bursting into song. "Then you can call me Pinkie Pie, eating mountains of cupcakes!" "Ugh, whatever."

Rainbow hushed as Pinkie suddenly started singing in her place. "You colts wanna party rough? OKAY! I'M RELOADED!" Everypony in the room, excluding Vinyl who was far to busy with perfecting the beat, looked at one another then back at the earth pony in confusion. Wait, where did that cannon come from? "Sh-"

The cannon went off with a loud 'squee', confetti, balloons, and an entire cake flew from the cannons muzzle and onto the three musical stallions. "This is the tale! Of Pinkamena Diane Pie! A Party Pony, Whose a Element Of Harmony!""Ugh just finish it." "Made a soufflé, but it deflated! This whole towns a cake, just waiting to get baaaakkkeed!"

The music was finally dying down. "Ooookay, turns out Rainbow Dash is a complete bibliophile..." Buckberg mumbled. Vinyl finally turned away from her records and was greeted to a strange sight.

The singers of Lonely Coltand were covered in cake, frosting, and confetti. A few balloons floated about the rooms ceiling, and one of her pals from Ponyville was in the room. "Hiya Vinyl! You're still coming to my party tomorrow right? It's for Dashie, she's going to have a song go platinum soon!" "You know it, you throw the best parties Pinkie Pie!"

"Do you really think it was that good Pinks?" Rainbow beamed at the earth pony, her grin as wide as the party ponies normal smiles. "Well duuuuh you're like, the most amazing singer ever Dashie!"  Dash put a hoof up to her chin and nodded. "Hey Pinkie, Vinyl, wanna grab some lunch? Totally on me." The two mares nodded their heads in unison and left the room with the cyan Pegasus, leaving Buckberg, Hoofer, and Pinecone in the 'party' mess.

After a long clean and a few hours of relaxing, the three stallions met up to discuss the disaster of their newest song. "What're we going to do!? This is serious! That -song- is just.. It's a mess! All over the Luna damned place!" Hoofer groaned and slumped against the floor, his hooves covering his face.

"I say we leave it as it is.." Both Hoofer and Pinecone stared at Buckberg. "Just try and look at it like this guys.. We just had two of the most famous ponies, both being apart of the Elements of Harmony... Sing in our song. Way I see it, anypony is going to love it either way." Pinecone looked up in thought. "You do make a point..."

And so, the three stallions left the song as it was. It was a big hit, and everypony was happy. Oh yeah, and there was a huge party after it went platinum and all.
