White, fluffly bubbles spilt over the sides of the marble white bath. The scent of lavender swimming around the bathroom. Clean white towels folded neatly on shelves on the far wall. A cyan mare stood in front of a slightly steamed up mirror, brushing her ratty, rainbow mane. She rubbed a hoof on the steamed mirror, so she could see herself again on the blurry reflective glass. The mare put the brush down and trotted over to the filled bath. She quickly turned both the taps off, before dipping her hoof in.

"Ah. Perfect. Not too hot, and not too cold." Rainbow sighed happily as she grabbed a clean towel. She loved these moments. Ones where she could relax and forget all her troubles. Forgeting that she is an assassin, and letting herself dream. Dreaming about being free. She placed the towel on a holder, near the bath. Rainbow's ear twitched as she heard flaps. She stopped, and put the towel next to the sink. She quickly trotted to the door and unlocked it.

"Spitfire? Soarin?" She called.

"Yeah!! What's up, Dash?" A male voice replied, from the kitchen.

"What are you doing?"

"Making a sandwich! I got hungry!"

"You're always hungry!!" Rainbow teased.

"Yeah! You're always sleepy!!"

"I have three jobs, Soarin!!"

"Oh...yeah."

Rainbow laughed at the Wonderbolt's stupidity. She closed the door, not noticing the pegasus who was hiding on the ceiling. Rainbow locked the door and walked over to a cabinet of bottles.

"Hmmm....feathers need a clean up....and I'll choose...this one." Rainbow mumbled to herself as she pulled out three different bottles. One white with a feather on it. And the two others, exactly the same. Apart from the words 'shampoo' and 'conditioner'. She placed them on a low shelf next to the bath and towel rack. The pegasus dipped her hoof in the water again.

"Damn. It's gone cold. I seriously need a new boiler." She muttered as she turned the tap back on.

Rainbow didn't notice the golden coated mare quietly land behind her. She didn't notice the mare walking up to her. Rainbow was about to turn around, but was pushed into the water. She started to kick whoever pushed her, but the pony held her down. Rainbow tried to pull herself out of the water. No luck. She couldn't breathe. Water flooding her lungs as she was pushed into the water. Spitfire giggled to herself as the cyan mare's movements became slow. But she didn't see the water spilling out of the overflowing bath and onto the floor, seeping through the cloud floor.

Rainbow had fallen unconscious. She wasn't moving anymore. Spitfire dragged the pegasus out of the bath, her body limp. She smirked to herself as her plan had worked. Staring at the lifeless mare on the soaked floor.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Rainbow. Are you okay? Water is leaking into the kitchen and out of this door. Rainbow?" Soarin banged his hoof on the cloud door. But when he got no answer, he began to panic. He reared onto his front legs and bucked the cloud. It disappearing into little puffs of white fluffiness. Not seeing the golden blur whiz out through the window. No. His eyes were stuck on the mare on the floor. Rainbow lay on the floor with her wings limply outspread. Her eyes gently closed. Her whole body soaked through with the water from the bath. He quickly ran over and cradled the pegasus. Her chest wasn't moving. He bent down and leaned his ear on her chest. He could barely hear the delicate thumps of her heart. He carefully placed on the floor. And opened her mouth. Soarin took a deep breath as he put his mouth over hers. Spitfire watched from the open window. Growling as Soarin attempted to wake Dash.

"Come on, Rainbow." He urged. He placed his hooves on her chest and began to push down. "Spitfire! Spitfire! Help me out!!" He shouted.

The golden pegasus whizzed through the window in the hallway and galloped up to the bathroom.
"What? What's happening?" She pretended to panic.

"I don't know. But just turn the taps off." He instructed as he continued to give CPR to the assassin. As Spitfire turned the tap, Rainbow coughed. Spluttering up water as she tried to breathe again. She slowly fluttered her eyes open.

"What?" She mumbled. Soarin grinned as the pegasus he loved was alive. Resisting the urge to hug to her, he failed. He picked her up and squeezed her tight to him.

"Thank Celestia you're okay!!" He stroked the blue mare's back. Rainbow wanted to push herself away, but it felt so good. Feeling his fur against her own. She felt happy. But not happy as in 'I've won' or 'friends' happy. No. She felt something else. Something deep. The last she had felt like this was when she was with....

"Oh no."

"Rainbow. Are you okay?"

Rainbow pushed herself away from the handsome stallion. Wait, handsome?! She stares into his emerald green eyes. The assassin wanted to attack him so badly. To push him down and kiss him.

"Snap out of it, Rainbow!! Don't get distracted!! You don't want to be heartbroken again, do you?"

"I'm sorry. I've got to go." Before anypony could object, she zoomed out of the house. Leaving behind a confused stallion and a very very furious pegasus mare.

"Dammit!!! She was a goner!!! I guess I'm just gonna have to try harder." Spitfire growled and mentally hit herself. She flew into her room, slamming the door.

"Spitfire? Rainbow? What the?" Soarin rubbed his head. He had headache from all this commotion. He stood up and trotted towards his room. His mind fluttering. He could still feel Rainbow's body pressed against his own. Staring into her beautiful gems for eyes. Those wonderful rose hue eyes that had a burning fire behind them. Burning with confidence and determination. But, something was hidden in them. He could not only see the happiness, but the pain. He could see that clearly. He wanted to hold her and let her tell her pains and sorrows. And tell her that everything was okay. He finally fell asleep. Dreaming of Rainbow, yet again. The blue pegasus fell asleep with a smile on face. Knowing he was that much closer to being with the mare he loved.
