"And this is your room, Soarin."

"Woah. This place is...is amazing." The light blue stallion gawped at the interior of the grand cloud house. The patterns and swirls engraved on every pillar and on the ceiling. The spacious rooms with the most beautiful of views. And the Greek like design, with it's key patterns. Blue and white vases holding potted fern. And the electric lights giving the house an elegant glow.

"You like it then." A cyan pegasus mare smiled as she walked into the room the stallion had just entered. "Made the whole house from scratch."

"No way."

"Yes way." Rainbow teased. "Saved up for a while before buying the cloud. And made it myself."

Soarin stared at the blue mare in amazement.
"Really? Why?"

"I wanted something unique. Something that reflects me. And why not? It's not that hard. And I can change it when I want to. Last year it was a bungalow." Rainbow fluttered up to a high cupboard and pulled out a blanket and pillow.
"It's a thin blanket so you won't get too hot or too cold." She passed the items to the stallion.

"Thank you." Soarin placed the blanket and pillow onto the bed.

"I'll be making breakfast at nine. Okay? And I think I have pie in the fridge." The mare winked as she walked out of the room. "Good night, Soarin."

Soarin stood frozen in his stop. He was in the house of his dream mare. She was going to make breakfast for them in the morning and she offered pie for him. Could his life get any better? Yeah, she was an assassin, but, Rainbow was still Rainbow. He sat on the soft cloud bed, looking out of the window. Staring at the scenic view outside. The moonlit fields and the apple orchard. He could smell the sweet fragrance of juicy apples, and the musk of the night. The stars decorating the dark indigo and blue sky. Soarin slowly nodded off as he continued to dream. His final thought before finally being asleep was him and Rainbow, flying through the night sky.

~~~~~~
"Spitfire? You okay?" Rainbow knocked on the closed door of the bedroom in which Spitfire was staying in.
"Hmm? Yeah. I'm fine." The mare replied from inside the room.
"Okay then. Good night." Rainbow trotted upstairs towards her room. Finally falling asleep as she hit her queen sized cloud bed. Her covers flung up into the air as she jumped onto the soft paradise of a bed. She fell asleep within seconds. Letting the covers gently fall onto her body.
~~~

"Right. I can't attack her. After all, she is the leader of The Creed. And the most skilful fighter. And she probably kill me on the spot." Spitfire talked to herself as she thought up plans to get rid of that pesky Rainbow Dash. But, nothing came to mind. Rainbow is a master assassin. Taking her on is suicide. It'll be like wrapping gems around you and standing in front of a hungry dragon. "Unless, I attack her from behind. I'll surprise attack her. Yes. Brilliant. Now all I have to do is wait for the right time to come." Spitfire began to laugh manically before falling asleep. "Soarin is mine. And he will stay as mine."

~~~~~~
It was now late afternoon. Rainbow, Spitfire and Soarin sat in the library, along with Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Twilight. Rainbow still didn't wear her cloak. Even though it's more risky, she'll still be able to fight off somepony. Weapons or not. The princesses were discussing the problem with the pegasi Lords.
"There's nothing I can do. I signed a treaty stating that I will not interfere. I'm sorry, Twilight." The grand white alicorn apologised.
"We must do something! We can't just sit around!!" Rainbow stamped her hoof as she stood up. "I don't care if it's against The Creed, I will kill them if I have to!!"
"Rainbow. There must be another way." Soarin hushed.
"There isn't!! I've already fought with them before, and I'll gladly do it again!! And this time, I won't fail!!"
Twilight looked up to her mentor with confusion. Celestia sighed before she spoke.
"I wanted the Lords out. They were abusing pegasi. You see, before me and Luna were born, the Lords before them were the most cruelest ponies ever. They slaughtered their own kind. Their brothers and sisters. Their mothers and fathers. Every time a foal was born, they would test and check it. If the foal was weak and ill, they would kill it. If it was healthy, they were kept."
Twilight gasped in shock. No words could describe how surprised she was. She never knew of the pegasi's history. There were never any books on it. But she never knew they would be so brutal.
"And the lords now, still do it. That's why many pegasi have fled. Not wanting their foals killed because they were weak then. But the pegasus race was starting to shrink. Less and less pegasi were being born, in fear that they would be murdered by the superior ones. The Lords only wanted strong pegasi. To make the race seem dominating." Luna added.
"B-But...Derpy....Fluttershy..." The violet alicorn stuttered. "They aren't exactly strong fliers."
"A-ha. Funny story. If it wasn't for my mother and my father, they wouldn't be here. Along with lots of other pegasi." Rainbow pointed out. "My parents argued with the Lords, saying that their tests were cruel and unfair. And they said an option would be, instead of killing the foals, but to send them and the family to the ground. To different towns. The parents of the foals would be able to choose whether their filly or colt would go to a flying school or a school in their town. That way, not only would the pegasi race grow again, it would spare the pain for the parents. Both Derpy and Fluttershy went to Cloudsdale school. But they lived on the ground. Fluttershy lived in a village near Cloudsdale called Pegasus. And Derpy lived here. In Ponyville."
"Wow. I didn't know your family made such an impact." Cadence mumbled. Her purple orbs opened wide. She was once a pegasus. Is that why she lived on the ground? She tried questioning her parents before they died, but the wouldn't say. Her mother was born in Cloudsdale. Did she flee for her unborn foal?
"Still. What can we do?" Spitfire piped up. She was still to busy thinking up ways to attack Rainbow.
"I'll go to the Canterlot Archives. See if there's anything in there." Twilight and Luna said in sync.
"Celestia and I will check the Crystal Archives. And Shining Armour could help to."
"I'll stay here. I'll keep on guard, but I'll send out a few of my own to keep an eye you. Just in case. The Lords have twice as many guards than the Royal Guard." Rainbow pointed out.
"And they still have the Equestrian Air Force." Soarin added.
"Yes. Indeed they do. Well, Twilight and I should get to Canterlot while you two go to the Crystal Empire." The blue alicorn pointed to her sister and her younger niece. The two alicorns nodded in reply and disappeared in a golden glow.
"We'll see you tomorrow then, Rainbow."
"See ya, Twi. I'll tell the others where you've gone."
"Thanks." Twilight and Luna waved as they sat on a gleaming gold chariot. Pulled by two white pegasus stallions in golden armour. Rainbow and the two Wonderbolts began to walk towards Sugarcube Corner. The home of the Element of Laughter, Pinkie Pie. And the temporary residence of Surprise McParty.
Rainbow turned to the light blue stallion.
"You've cheered up then. Why's that?"
"What? Oh! Nothing." Soarin quickly muttered.
"Nothing? Yesterday, you were screaming at me because I was an assassin." The pegasus mare lowered her head. "I'm sorry about your parents. I really am. But father meant well and-"
"I forgive you."
"What?"
"I forgive you. Even though there's nothing for me to forgive. It wasn't you that killed them. So it's okay. I got over the fact that my parents died." Soarin gave a reassuring smile to the pegasus mare.
"I wish I could." Rainbow mumbled. Keeping her head down. Soarin noticed this but said nothing. The three pegasi walked in silence. Walking up to each of their friend's houses. And finally, up to Rainbow's house. Soarin quietly fluttered up to his room. And Spitfire followed and turned towards her room.
"I'll be in the bathroom!!" Rainbow yelled before she slammed the bathroom door shut.
Spitfire's eyes lit up as an idea dragged itself into her mind. An evil smirk grew onto her face. Once Soarin was in his room, Spitfire slowly and very quietly crept up to the bathroom. Ready to put her plan into action.
