"Urrg!! I wish I could just stab them in the face!! Such bloody jerks!! Maledicat pestilentiam in animas eorum stupri. Si habent unum." A cloaked pegasus muttered as she paced the room. But was loud enough for everypony in the room hear. The girls and The Wonderbolts returned to Golden Oaks Library. The famous fliers decided to stay with the Princess and the assassin. But one stallion was still mad.

"Rainbow! Don't be so rude!!" Twilight replied. Rainbow rolled her eyes. In the two years of her knowing her friend's proper occupation, Twilight had learnt Latin. She had learnt to read it. And when Rainbow says anything, she would know. Trouble was, she couldn't speak it. It was too complicated. And she gave up trying.
"I wish they wouldn't do this. But we have no control. Not even Celestia. She signed a treaty, allowing the pegasi still live under her rule but follow the elders." The alicorn explained.

"I don't wanna fight! I don't wanna kill anypony! I want to hide in my closet with my teddy bear!!" A yellow pegasus wailed. Ever since they returned, she started to cry. Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie had tried comforting her, but with no luck. The mare kept on crying. The Wonderbolts sat in silence. Still trying to process everything.

"Please! I don't want to fight!" She cried. She didn't notice the cloaked mare walking up to her.

Rainbow sat next to Fluttershy, and hugged her.

"I don't want to fight either. But Fluttershy, you won't have to fight. No one is going to fight. Because this will end before she begins." She smiled to the butterscotch pegasus. "I promise, Shy. You will not fight. Okay? You'll go back and see your little animals, and Angel, and be happy." Fluttershy sniffed and smiled weakly to the assassin. "Please. Just don't cry. I hate it when you cry. You deserve to be happy."

"Thank you, Rainbow." She squeaked as she hugged Rainbow Dash. "Thank you." She released her friend from the hug and stood up. She wiped away a few tears. "Twilight. I'm going to see my animals. It's lunch time and they'll be terribly unhappy if I don't feed them. Especially Angel bunny. So, goodbye girls." Fluttershy waved as she left the library.

"Bye, Fluttershy!" Twilight waved back. When her friend was gone, she turned to Rainbow. With a confused expression.

"This will end. Before any bloodshed." Rainbow stood up and walked out the library. Her cloak swaying swiftly with her movements. Soarin stared as she left. And sighed sadly to himself as the mare of his dreams was a cold blooded killer. An assassin. Wearing a same cloak of the pony who killed his parents. And apparently, that was her father. Why does life have a way of twisting itself into the most cruellest situations?

Spitfire noticed his expression and saw that he was deep in thought. She guessed that he was thinking of Rainbow again. But still, if Soarin hates assassins, he must hate her. The yellow pegasus giggled to herself. Now it was her chance. Her chance to win Soarin over.

"We can't go back. If we go back, the Lords will kill us. The other Wonderbolts have gone to their family and friends around Equestria. Seeking refuge from the Lords." Fleefoot stated.

"The Cloudsdale guards tried trapping the trainers and rookies and setting HQ on fire." Surprise added.

"Do you have any where to go?" Twilight asked. She stood in front of the five pegasi. Pinkie and Rarity had stayed in the library, while Fluttershy and Rainbow had returned. But this time, the rainbow maned mare did not wear her cloak. She thought it would be safer and less intimidating for The Wonderbolts. Also, the had their suits off. Seeing no point to wear them as they wouldn't be doing any shows for a while.

"Well, I'm staying with my cousin, Pinkie Pie!!" The white pegasus cartwheeled to her pink relative. The ponies watching at how the two mares were exactly alike, their bouncing hair, their randomness, their love for sweets, wanting to keep everypony happy. If it wasn't for the different last names, they could be sisters.

"Umm, I offered to take Fleefoot and Silver Lining. They said they both like little animals and cottages." Fluttershy smiled to the two ponies behind their captain. Who beamed a grin back.

"I love little critters. So cute!" The white maned mare squealed. Rapidfire nodded.

"My sister is a vet. So I've kinda grown up with animals."

"And what about you and Soarin?" Twilight pointed to the captain and co-captain.

"I don't know. I have no family available." Spitfire groaned.

"I don't have family." Soarin said bluntly. Rainbow's expression softened. She felt sorry for the ice blue stallion.

"You can stay with me. My house is big enough to house the whole team. It's a nice big cloud house." Rainbow offered. Soarin's face lit up. But he still had mixed feelings. He was still angry with Rainbow being an assassin, however, he was willing to forgive her. It wasn't her that killed his parents. And was happy, no, delighted that she offered them a place to stay at her house. Before Spitfire could reject he sprung up.

"Yes!! That'll be brilliant!!" He cheered. "Umm, I mean...that's cool. Yeah sure." He sheepishly smiled as the ponies shared confused looks from the stallion's sudden outburst of happiness. Rainbow smiled sweetly. Soarin's heart fluttered. Forgetting his previous feelings. Seeing her smile so innocently. Not to mention cutely. Spifire however, was cursing under her breath.

"You bitch!! He's mine!! I hope you get bucking killed!!"

"Yeah. Thanks, rookie." She grinned to the prismatic pegasus. Masking her anger behind an innocent smile.

"Well, with that settled. Let's all hit the sack." Twilight yawned. "Spike!! Bedtime!!"

"I'm already in bed, Twi. Nearly three hours ago. It's midnight." A young voice shouted from the top of the stairs.

"Come on, Surprise! We're having a sleepover!!" Pinkie bounced towards the door.

"Yay!!" Surprise cheered as she bounced too. Following her pink cousin. Flapping her white wings for an extra bounce.

Fleefoot, Silver Lining and Fluttershy bid their farewells to the others, and walked home with Rarity tagging along. As her boutique was in the same direction.

The cyan pegasus turned to the violet alicorn.
"Are you sure you'll be okay?"

"It's one night, Rainbow. Besides, if there is any trouble, Spike and Owlicious are here. Not to mention that if I scream, I'll wake the whole town up."

Rainbow chuckled at her friend's statement.
"Well, good night Twi."

"Night Rainbow." Twilight waved as the three pegasi fluttered off. Rainbow was leading the way while Soarin stared at her. The way the glittering moonlight danced over her sleek, athletic body. The light revealing her curves. Reflecting off her rainbow mane. And shinning off her rose gem eyes. Making them sparkle in the night. The stallion gazed at her. Forgetting everything as he was lost in the land of rainbows and rose.

This only made Spitfire madder. Her anger rising rapidly.
"Assassin or not. You're dead by tomorrow night!" She growled to herself. Not even being noticed by the two other pegasus ponies.
