"Darling. I'm sorry to bother you, but I think the generator is out. It doesn't seem to be turning on." An elegant voice called from the dark cellar. A dim blue glow gave off the only light in the sunken darkness. Two rough silhouettes of mares stood among the dark. One bucking a metal object, the other supplying the only light.

"Well...hang on. Rarity, can you perform a blast spell?" The purple alicorn shouted from the top of the stairs. She could fix the generator, however, it was old. Almost falling apart. Along with the house. They were lucky it turned on last time. But now, the old machine only coughed.

"Of course, darling. I use it on my sewing machines. But I may have to use it more than once. My sewing machines only need a small boost." Rarity called back. Twilight nodded. Beside her was a shivering pegasus, twitching madly and breathing heavily. The yellow mare did not like this. Every inch of everything scared her in some way. The other pink mare had wandered off, but no-one had noticed. The princess stepped back slightly. Not wanting to fall down the dark stairs. She could perform the spell herself. Saving her friend of any effort, however, Rarity was almost a student to her. A young and enthusiastic unicorn who was in the need of some spells.

The ponies heard the twinkle of magic and the churning of machinery. The lights around the house flickered before slowly dimming again.

"Come on, Rare. Ya can do this." Applejack urged.

Suddenly, the lights grew brighter. The generator began to hum. Twilight heard the laughing of the unicorn downstairs. And smiled as she knew the unicorn was growing strong with her magic. She turned her head towards the shivering pegasus.

"It's okay, Fluttershy. It's safe." She assured.

Slowly, Fluttershy stood up straight. Still shaking from both the coldness and fright.
"If you say so, Twilight."

"Ah-ha! I did it!! I did it! My word, I am fabulous!" Rarity flicked her hair around in a flashy way. Grinning madly. The apple farmer beside her just rolled her eyes.

"Ya, Miss Fabulous. But ah think it's time ta look around, an not at ya." She huffed as she began to walk towards the staircase. Rarity growled in reply.

"And what's that supposed to mean, Apple-Shack?" She snapped. Applejack snorted at the unicorn.

"Ah'm jast sayin. We should start lookin for a book ta help Rainbow an not gaze at ya 'oh-magnificent horn'."

"You could have just said that. Rather than being sarcastic. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit." Rarity trotted up the stairs, beside the apple mare. Twilight and Fluttershy just walked behind. Not bothering to intrude and stopping the argumentative ponies.

"Ya tha lowest form of wit." Applejack quickly retorted. Not thinking about what she was saying. She just wanted to insult the unicorn, however, she always got around it.

"Applejack. Do you even think before you speak?"

"Do ya even think? Or is it all about yo-"

"Girls! Stop it!"

"Ah!" The two mares screamed. Hugging each other from whatever appeared before them. Hanging upside down, from the dusty chandelier, was a pink mare. She was wearing a black jumper and a black mask. Along with a large set of goggles over her eyes. However, her normally bouncy bubble gum pink hair was still straight and dull.

"Pinkie Pie! Where have you been?" Twilight demanded. Also shaken from the sudden surprise.

"What do you think, Twilight? Trying to help." The mare hopped down from the chandelier, making the crystals shake. Now she srood before the ponies. She lifted her goggles to place on her head. Revealing her pain filled eyes. "I found a book as you were putting the lights on." She held a tatty book in her belt around her waist. Scrapes and scratches were marked across the book. And the binding was falling apart.

"How? It was pitch black. "

The party mare pointed to her goggles. The lens were orange with a black frame and strap.
"Night vision. I saw everything really clearly. You lot were taking too long. So I did the looking for you."

"Well...thanks, Pinkie. But why?" Twilight hovered the book towards her. Still confused over the mare's actions.

"Dashie needs help. She needs all the help she can get. If you say she was as hurt as you said, then the quicker, the better. Dashie is my bestest friend. And I don't want to let her down. She doesn't belong in prison. She hasn't done anything wrong."

"But...she killed Sir Ice Wing." Fluttershy squeaked. She hated that Lord. Before she met Rainbow Dash, she had two friends. Sugar Coat and Wind Brizzle. They her bestest friends ever. They were always so kind. Yet confident. However, they were weak fliers as well. Sugar Coat was a clean white pegasus with baby pink, blue and white curly hair. With large pink eyes. Wind Brizzle was a light blue pegasus with dark blue and white windswept hair. And her eyes were golden. Sugar's mother was mugged and murdered a couple of weeks after she was born. And Wind was an orphan. One day, when Fluttershy was playing in the garden, s pegasus flew down from Cloudsdale to Pegasus. The mare was a pea green pegasus with cream coloured hair. Tied up in a bun. She came up to Fluttershy's parents. The young filly didn't know what was going on, but her parents looked shocked. And the mare was sad. She held her head down in shame. Later, Fluttershy heard her parents talking in the living room. She heard them talking about Wind Brizzle. She hid in the cupboard as she heard their conversation.

"The Lords are going too far. They are absolutely disgraceful."

"I know, dear. She was only young."

"How do you think Fluttershy is going to cope?"

"We won't tell her."

"She'll find out somehow."

"Yes but...she can't know that Wind Brizzle is dead. It'll break her heart."
Fluttershy remembered bursting into tears. And galloping out of the cupboard. Her parents shocked. They tried to run after her. But lost sight of her. She spent an hour or so in a hole of a tree, crying. Until her brother had found her. He comforted her, but she couldn't stop crying. He told her it was a Pegasi Lord, called Sir Ice Wing, who had killed Wind. Wind was beaten before being pushed off a cloud. She fell to her doom. Fluttershy never stopped sobbing. Wailing her friend's name in hope she would come back.
Eventually, she stopped. Her tears gone. She had cried them all out. Her aquamarine eyes sore. She went to school the next day to talk to Sugar Coat. To find that she left. She never knew why. Fluttershy had to deal with being alone. Cluttershy. Clutzershy. Stupid-shy. The loner who couldn't fly. That was until she met Rainbow. A pegasus who was the complete polar opposite of her, had become the best friend she knows now. And she never left her.

"She did. But, she doesn't belong in prison." Pinkie took the book and flipped it open to a certain page. The gurls scanned the scrubbles upon the creased paper. Their hope rising. Their smiles growing.

"Pinkie Pie! You've done it!! You have saved Rainbow Dash!!" Twilight squealed in delight. She grabbed the book and galloped towards the door. "Come on, girls. We need to get to Canterlot. And fast." The mares hugged the pink mare, who's spirit was beginning to lift. Her eyes starting to fill with happiness once more. She had done it. She proved she was not a stupid, hyper pomy who bakes cakes. She was the pony who saved the Leader of The Creed. Her friend. She felt her hair beginning to twist and curl again.

"Come on, Pinkie!" A southern mare called from outside. The party pony snapped out of her daydream and began to trot to the door. Smiling as the thought of seeing her friend again filled her with shining joy.
"Hang on, Dashie. We're coming." She whispered as her coat brightened, from it's near grey state. "You are coming home. And you're going to need a party."

Author's Notes:

Yay. Pinkie Pie has found something. But what?

Sugar Coat and Wind Brizzle are two of my ocs. However, Sugar Coat is really a unicorn. I just changed her for this story. I'll upload pictures of them later on.

This chapter was annoying. Took ages for me to think, as all that is on my mind right now is Pythagoras Theorem and Cancerous Cell Lines. So far, I have done my biology test and four maths. I have no idea about my biology, but I think it went well. The maths, I'm doing well. Passed three tests so far with 86 percent, 96 percent and 73 percent on the three maths test that have been marked. One more to mark and one more to do. Nearly there. Stupid mistakes really.

Comment any errors.
