The five mares cautiously walked through the corridor. The dark, moss covered corridor. With the only light coming from the burning torches upon the wall. Their hooves squelched under the damp floor. Speckles of blood dotted around the floor. Two of the ponies cowered. It was horrible. They heard echoing screams, screams of pain, around the dank prison. The mares were sent down by their elders, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. The book they found was the key to their pegasus friend's freedom. However, they could not contact the prison or Sir Flicker. So, reluctantly, they went down. Scared of what they might find. Fear fed it's sickened vines to wrap around the young ponies' minds. Making them shake and quiver in fear.

They shakily stopped as they heard the galloping of hooves. At first, they thought it was an escapee. Another pony who just wanted freedom. Who wanted to smell the tingling air again. To feel the nip of the cold wind. However, the sound was coming towards them. The girls quickened their pace. Not wanting to bump into the pony. Not wanting to see the tortured soul.

"Prin....Twi...ght!" The pony yelled. The girls panicked and started to run, but Rarity halted. Followed by the others as they watched the unicorn. Staring at her in confusion.

"Rarity?" Applejack hissed. If she shouted, her shouts would echo. Drawing the attention to them.

"Shh. Rainbow taught me a skill. Well, many actually. But she taught me how to improve my hearing. So I can hear the smallest things." The unicorn explained. Her ears twitching like their assassin friend. Suddenly, blue light exploded before the unicorn. The girls thought it was an attack, and yelled their friend's name in shock. But, when the light died down, the seamstress held a beautifully carved bow, engraved with gems. On her back, a set of arrows in their holder. Rarity hovered the bow and placed arrow on it. Stretching it, she aimed at the darkness. She squinted her large deep sapphire eyes, seeing every detail of the corridor.

"Gi..s....Flu....ers...hy!"
The yellow pegasus squeaked as she heard her name being called out. At first, the pegasus recognised the voice. But dismissed it as she quivered in fear.

The sound of hooves got closer and closer, louder and louder. Until, a figure of a unicorn came into view. Followed by another. Rarity released the arrow, letting it slice through the air towards the two ponies. However, a golden glow surrounded it. And within seconds, the elegant arrow burst. Falling to the floor as burning ashes.

"What?!" Rarity blurted out. As she stared at the ashes upon the floor. Smoldering.

"Oh Rarity. We are not your enemies. But, your friends." The flickering torches shone light onto the two other unicorns. One was a brown coated stallion. With bright red eyes and tinted yellow hooves. Beside him, was a turquoise mare in a white cloak. Her golden eyes beaming. Her horn alight.

"D-Discord? Lyra?" Twilight asked. The two ponies turned to the princess. And nodded.
"But what are you doing here? How did you find us?"

"Well, Princess Celestia told us that you had found something. Something to help Rainbow Dash. But that you went here, as you couldn't contact them." Lyra explained. "The Creed has run into chaos. Many of our own are being arrested and taken away. We need our leader back. I went to Celestia to explain to that I'm planning to break her out, but she said you had found something. A book. To help Rainbow Dash out."

"Okay. But why is Discord here? You don't know Rainbow that much." Twilight pointed to the brown stallion. Who snorted in reply.

"Pleasure to know that when I want to help, others don't need me." He scoffed. Wincing as a screeching pony expressed their pain. It was a low screech, belonging to a stallion. They also heard an evil cackling. The ponies felt sorry for the stallion, however remembered he must have done something terrible to deserve such a fate. Anypony who was trapped inside this disgusting prison, had their reasons. Any heinous crimes. Serial killers. Rapists. Murders. Robbers. And unfortunately, their friend-although a trained assassin and is allowed under the name of the princess-was a murder. Killing a Pegasus Lord. Without consent of the princess. The pegasus deserved every little bit of pain here. But they others thought different

"No. It's just that I'm wondering."

"Well, she's a friend. Not a close friend. But a friend. And as she has been loyal to Equestria, I think it's only fair to help her. That and I hate death. Death and anything around that area. Rainbow Dash does not deserve that. Neither does Soarin Skies. Also, despite this one's arguments, Celestia wanted me to help Lyra." The rusty brown stallion stated. Hissing as he said the sun goddess' name. He still hated her. He's always hated her. But, as time went on, the draconequus grew onto her. Friends. Until she lied about everything. Every single word she had said to him, was a sick, twisted lie.

"I just don't know, Discord! I never wanted to be with you!" A white mare yelled, despite her tears. Her rose eyes tinged with the glow of red. Aching as she cried. Rain fell onto her bright pearl coat. Dirtying her pristine coat to murky grey. The falling liwuid gems soaked her flowy, pink mane, that now draped over her face and neck. Sticking to her coat. She stood before a draconequus. Who was slightly higher than herself. Her rose eyes were begging. Begging for forgiveness and answers.

"...but...but you said-"

"I lied. I'm sorry, Discord. I love you like a friend." She croaked. "I've been through a lot recently."

"Y-you....you...." The young spirit of chaos felt as if everything from him, was drained out. He almost felt numb. Only feeling the sting of the cold rain that fell on him. His usually perky, joy filled, mischievous eyes blank. "...why...why lie to me?" His own jet black hair falling over his face. Dripping water onto his already wet face. His distraught face.

The alicorn sighed. Her breathe creating a mist in front of her face, as her warm breath mixed with the cold air. She stared at the small mist before it disappeared into the rain.
"...I don't know...I...I just didn't want to hurt you." She whispered. Her throat aching with pain. Both emotional and physical.

"You didn't want to hurt me?! So you lied to me because you thought that wouldn't hurt me?!" The rage built up inside of the mythical creature. Burning brightly. Brighter than the sun itself.

"I wasn't thinking straight! Okay? I said I'm sorry! So much has been happening."

Discord lept up and pushed the pony to the ground. The young princess squeaked in shock, but glared at the spirit. She couldn't tell him. He'll hate her forever. She always wanted to be by Discord's side, however....something very, very bad happened.

"You stupid pony! What have I ever done to you?!" He screamed into her face. Tears streaming down his face. He couldn't understand. This was completely new to him.

"I'm sorry, Discord. I'm so so sorry. I didn't mean to." Celestia wailed. She didn't want to hurt him. That was the truth. But she was breaking him more than ever. She felt heartless. She couldn't even begin to imagine what the draconequus was feeling. Having his heart ripped out and thrown to the floor with force.

"You didn't mean to?!" That was it. He snapped. Snapping like a twig. His cheery nature wiped away. That fire of rage blown away. Now, there was nothing. Just empty space. And that's all he felt. "That's okay, Tia. Cause you mean nothing to me. Okay. You mean nothing." He said with no emotion what-so-ever.

"Why do you hate Celestia so much?" Fluttershy quietly asked. Noticing the disguised draconequus' hissing. And his sudden zoning out.

"She means nothing to me." He growled. "Now, come on. If you wish to release Miss Dash, standing here isn't going to do anything." He began to trot past the ponies. Earning confused and disbelieving looks. They all stared at him as he lead the group.

"Why do ya care? Ya hardly know Rainbow. Why do ya wan ta help her?"

"...because....because she has something that I had wished for, a long, long time ago. And I do not want to see Celestia destroy it again. Cause scars never heal."

The others looked even more confused. They had an idea what Discord was saying, but that's what he wished for? A crazy, chaotic spirit wanted love. Similar to the one between Rainbow Dash and Soarin. The girls' minds were all jiggled. Especially as he said, "...And I do not want to see Celestia destroy it again. Cause scars never heal."

"Let's go, your highness." Lyra croaked. Gently pushing the still alicorn. The others had already started walking, but Twilight's mind had been elsewhere. The unicorn stared at the princess with her pleading golden eyes. Eventually they started trotting. Down the corridor. Where they all heard the cracking of a whip and cries of a mare get louder.

And useless.:fluttercry: And that got me thinking. Really? Am I pathetic?
