It's an epiphany that hits Twilight hard, one day: She loves Princess Celestia. Well, she's always loved her, but now she realizes it's a lot more than the love of subject to ruler, or student to teacher. And when it turns out a friend is in similar straits, they both decide to give it a shot. But it won't be easy. So with the help of their friends, and the support of one another, Twilight and Fluttershy do their best to achieve the seemingly impossible: Confessing their love to the rulers of all Equestria. Meanwhile, all their friends have their own relationships to worry about, not to mention their friendship as a group.
It won't be easy.
But it will be worth it.
