Fluttershy sat down in her jail cell, cold and frightened of what was gonna happen to her. She had been there for about a week now, she wasn't sure if she would even make it out alive. She looked over in another cell, and saw a shadow move. She flinched, gave a whine and quickly scooted over to a corner, hiding her face as her body shook.

"Hey, are okay?"

Fluttershy removed some of her hair, and looked over at the shadow's direction. As it stepped into the light, a boy came to her vision, but he didn't look like her at all.

"U-Um…Yes…" She mumbled nervously.

"Are you sure? You look pretty scared"

"I…I'm just…shy"

"What's your name?"

"Um…I'm…Fluttershy" At the part with her name, Fluttershy, whispered it out instead of mumbling.

"Sorry, what was that?"

"It's Fluttershy," She whispered.

"Fluttershy huh? Nice to meet you. I'm…"

"Alright, are you two ready?" Twilight asked to Sonic and Rainbow Dash. All of their friends were standing on the sideline of a racing track. The racing track of Sonic and Rainbow Dash's race. They finally were to determine whom the title 'The Fastest Thing Alive' were to go to. Rainbow Dash and Sonic stood at the starting line, waiting for the race to begin. Tails and Twilight were the judges, while the rest of their friends were standing excited for the race to begin.

"Alright, the race is about to begin!" Tails announced. Their friends cheered.

"I'm so excited for this race, they're both so fast, this is gonna be really close!" Cream exclaimed happily.

"Chu chu chu!" cheered Cheese. Applejack was standing beside Knuckles, her hands on her hips.

"Gotta admit, Sonic is a fast guy, but my bet is on Rainbow Dash," She said. Knuckles raised an eyebrow and looked at her.

"Then you just lost a bet. Sonic is gonna nail this" Knuckles said. Applejack looked at him and smirked.

"Then Rainbow Dash is gonna nail this harder!"

"Oh that's it cowgirl, let us bet. Whoever wins the bet gets to be 'The Strongest Thing Alive'"

"Deal!" And with that, they shook their hands.

Sonic and Rainbow Dash were looking over at those two as they shook their hands. Rainbow Dash looked at Sonic and smirked.

"So, wanna make a bet too?" She asked. Sonic smirked back.

"Depends on what you have in mind," He said.

"Fine, here's the deal; whoever loses this race, gets to be the winner's servant for 24 hours"

"You've got yourself a deal!"

Twilight stepped a bit forward.

"Alright racers, get in position!" She said. The crowd fell silent as they intend stared at Sonic and Rainbow Dash kneeling down at the start. Sonic looked over at Rainbow Dash and smirked.

"I hope you're ready for 24 hours hard work Dashie," He said. She looked back at him with a smirk as well.

"I think you got that wrong Sonic," She said. They stared forward at the racing track. Twilight took her hand up in the air and raised 3 fingers. She lowered the first finger.

"On your mark"

Sonic and Rainbow Dash raised their bodies a bit, as they still kneeled down. Twilight lowered a second finger.

"Get set"

Sonic and Rainbow Dash gave a quick glance and smirk at each other before hearing the words.

"GO!"

Twilight lowered her last finger and the two speeders took off in a blur.

Tails looked at Twilight.

"Who do you think is gonna win?" He asked. She looked back at him and smiled.

"Well, both of them are superfast, but Rainbow Dash has been my friends for years so, I'm gonna cheer for her" She said.

"Well, like you, Sonic has been my big brother for as long as I can remember so, my cheer is on him. You're not mad are you?"

Twilight still smiling at him kneeled down beside of him and pinched his cheek gently.

"Aww, don't worry Tails, it's okay to cheer for others" She said. Tails blushed as she pinched his cheek. He chuckled nervously.

"Yeah, hehe thanks Twilight" He said as he rubbed behind his head with his eyes closed.

Sonic and Rainbow Dash were neck to neck on their different tracks. Since their speed each came from a different source, there was a special track made for both of them, far away for each other (And also just in case they cheated). Sonic had a hard muddy and steady terrain with high strong obstacles, while Rainbow Dash had a rocky terrain with falling rocks and low and thin passages.

Both of them were doing a good job avoiding their obstacles and getting forward. According to my mind, will and writing skills, they were neck to neck.

Rainbow Dash continued to fly as fast as she soon reached about halfway with Sonic. She didn't know that Sonic was neck to neck with her since he was around 50 km away from her.

"Ha! I'm halfway there already. As soon as I reach the goal line, Sonic is gonna be my servant for a day, and do really many things for me" She said cocky to herself. She chuckled until she saw a bright light blue light coming from the ground up ahead. She dived down to the light and landed on the ground a few meters away.

"What the?" She asked herself. She walked over to the bright light and kneeled down. Right before her, was…

"A Chaos Emerald!" She said. She picked it up and looked at it.

"What is it doing out here?" She suddenly started to feel the earth shake right underneath her. She heard a loud crashing sound right behind her.

"It's waiting for me of course!"

Rainbow Dash turned around and looked at a big robot, controlled by a well know fat man with an ugly mustache longer than The Great Wall of China.

"Eggman!" She said.

"Surprise!" He said. "I figured that you would be around here near the emerald, so I just tracked it and what ya know? You're here!"

"I feel sorry for you because you just made a mistake Egg face!"

"Oh my, I'm so sorry my dear, but I'm afraid I'll be taking you now with the emerald"

"Sorry Doc, but that's not gonna happen" Eggman smirked.

"Really?"

Rainbow Dash suddenly felt herself be grabbed from behind by a strong metal hand.

"H-hey! What are you doing?! Let me go!" She said.

"Hmm, how about no?" With that, the robot teleported away from the track…

Sonic stopped halfway through the track. He knew he shouldn't slow down at a race and start to walk, but something was bothering him. Like, something was wrong. He tried to start again, but something slowed him down. That feeling. He tried multiple times until he gave up. Whatever this feeling was, it was stopping him. He rubbed behind his head.

"Man…What is wrong with me?" He asked himself. Suddenly it was as if his life force exploded. His heart started to beat fast and it was as if he couldn't breathe. He kneeled down and panted from the sudden energy. It went on for a few minutes, getting more painful as every second passed by, then stopped. He stood up, wondering what it was. Suddenly, his eyes widen as a thought flashed through his mind.

'Chaos Control…

…

'!'

It only took Sonic a few seconds to figure out what happened. He quickly opened his B.W.T.C and called Tails. The fox immediately answered.

"Sonic, what's wrong?" Tails asked.

"Tails, we go a problem," Sonic said.

"What is it?" Twilight asked as she looked on the screen.

"It's Eggman. He has taken Rainbow Dash!"

Two robots were holding Rainbow Dash as they pulled and pushed her forward. She wasn't sure where they were going, but she had a good guess. Jail. They stepped into an elevator at some point and proceeded downwards.

'Perfect timing'

Rainbow Dash thrust one of the robots into a wall and it broke. The other one was distracted being surprised, that Rainbow Dash had a great opportunity to throw it into a wall. So she did. And it broke.

Then the elevator reached the end. The doors opened, and Rainbow Dash sneaked out. She looked at her surroundings. Definitely a jail, but there was…no guards? She took a little step forward. She suddenly heard a little whine.

"Oh no! Do you think that's a robot coming down to get us?"

Rainbow Dash's heart stopped beating as she heard that voice.

"Don't worry Fluttershy I won't let them hurt you again"

There was another voice, belonging to a boy. Rainbow Dash started to run forwards.

"Eep! It's coming!" Fluttershy said.

"Fluttershy? Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash yelled out.

"R-Rainbow Dash?"

Rainbow Dash finally found her, sitting in a cell, chained to the wall. She threw herself on her knees in front of the cell.

"Fluttershy! It is you!" She exclaimed happily.

"Oh Rainbow Dash! I thought I would never see any of you again!" Fluttershy squeaked. She crawled forward as much as she could, until the chains reached their limit.

Rainbow Dash eyes caught someone else all of a sudden. They were beside Fluttershy.

"Who's that?" She asked. Fluttershy looked back at the shadow and smiled. The shadow stepped forward, revealing a boy, but not a mobian. He didn't look any mobian.

"Rainbow Dash, this is my new friend…"

"What?! You're going after her all by yourself?!" Twilight asked.

"I have to" Sonic said.

"You can't possibly sneak into Eggman's base and grab Rainbow Dash all by yourself!"

"Twilight makes a valuable point Sonic," Tails said. "If you go into Eggman's base and find Rainbow Dash, both of you could possibly get caught and hurt," Tails said.

"I don't care if I get hurt! I have to save Rainbow Dash!" Sonic said.

"But Rainbow Dash could get hurt" Twilight said. Tails put a hand on Sonic's shoulder.

"I know you love her Sonic, and you really want to go and save her, but we need a plan first," He said. Sonic sighed in defeat.

"Alright. We gotta think critically, and quick. I'm losing my patience," He said as he tapped his foot impatiently.

Eggman looked at his cameras, and chuckled evilly as he Rainbow Dash and her friends make their way through the hallways.

"Ah, so young and gullible. Do they really think that it is so easy to sneak through my base? I don't think so" Eggman looked behind him, and looked at the bloody eagle claw and dragon leg.

"Can't still believe that the so called 'Lord of Chaos' was just as gullible as them. Thought I would team up with anyone? Sorry, but no" Eggman looked over at a container. In it, the light blue Chaos Emerald was stored.

"Only 6 more to go. Sonic might be in hiding, but he's still a threat. But once again, he will fail" Eggman at last looked at a shadow in the corner.

"Why don't we surprise those three a bit? Go! You can kill the boy. But get me the rainbow haired one, damaged or not" The shadow was silent for a second, until red eyes glowed.

"As you wish, my master"

"I can't believe how easy this is. I mean, I thought Eggman would have more security in this place," Rainbow Dash said as they all made their way through the hallways.

"Hang on Rainbow, something's not right" Hers and Fluttershy's new friend, said. She couldn't quite remember his name.

"I remember when I got here, there was loads of security and robots here," Fluttershy said.

"Then, why is there none now?" Rainbow Dash asked. Her ear suddenly twitched, and she grabbed them both.

"Look out!" She yelled and jumped back with them, all of them landing on their feet. She looked forward to see what attacked them. A blue robot, but…He seemed awfully…familiar?

"Oh no! It's Metal!" New friend said.

"Metal?" Rainbow Dash asked, and gave him a questioning look.

"Metal Sonic. He is a copy of Sonic who has all his data. He knows all of his attacks, tactics, he can even move as fast as him!"

Metal Sonic fired red lasers at them. Rainbow Dash dodged them all with her speed; still holding her friends in a tight grip. She flew forward through the hallway.

"Sorry Metal. As much as I wish to fight you, I'm kinda full right now," She said. Metal suddenly, teleported in front of her, surprising her completely. He fired at her again, this time hitting her, making her lose the grip on her friends and crash into a wall.

"Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy screamed. Rainbow Dash struggled to get up. She had never thought that this guy would be so strong. She got back up on her feet as Metal turned his head and looked at Fluttershy. She had never seen her so frightened. She was like standing in a coma on the floor.

"Fluttershy, run!" Rainbow Dash yelled. Fluttershy didn't move a budge. Frozen by the fear, she kept staring at Metal as he slowly moved towards her.

"Fluttershy!" Their new friend screamed. Suddenly, a scrap of metal came flying and hit Metal in the head. The robot, however, took the hit as if it was nothing, not even budging his head. His head then slowly turned around and looked at their new friend. He then slowly started to move towards him. Their new friend scared, walked step by step backwards, until he unfortunately reached a wall. He pressed his back up against the wall as Metal slowly started to charge a beam canon up. As Metal was about to fire, it was as if Fluttershy's brain was going berserk, cause she suddenly fired a beam at Metal that send him through 50 walls! Rainbow Dash and their new friend stared shocked at the holes Metal had made during flying. They stood and blinked for a second before snapping out of it.

"Come on, let's go" Rainbow Dash said. Her friends nodded, and they ran a bit forward until a light flashed and Metal appeared in front of them, unharmed.

"Uh oh" Was all Rainbow Dash could get out. Metal looked at Rainbow Dash while his eyes glowed red. He shoved towards her friends, and made them fly into the wall, knocking both of them unconscious in the process. Rainbow Dash panicked as she started to walk backwards. She had no powers, her wings wouldn't be any help if Metal shot them, and her friends were unconscious. She finally reached the end of the line. The wall. As she pressed her back up against the cold metal, Metal was charging up the same beam canon as for her friend. Rainbow Dash closed her eyes, and waited for the shot to happen. There was no way she could win.

She then heard the shot get fired.

There was a painful screech.

Then a loud thump.

But it wasn't coming from her…

Whose was it?

Slowly, she opened her eyes and looked forward. Metal had fired the shot. It should have hit her. But, why didn't it? Her eyes then finally noticed the thing on the ground, right in front of her. Her eyes went wide, and her body froze as she saw the body.

Sonic's body…

A big wound had been planted on his chest, and blood flooded out to all sides, making a big pool. The pool finally touched the tip of her boots, and surrounded them. Rainbow Dash snapped and fell to her knees quickly, lifting Sonic's body up in her arms.

"Sonic!" She yelled. His eyes opened a bit and he looked at her. She didn't care if her clothes and skin got full of blood. To her, this was way more important.

"Sonic no!" She yelled as tears filled her eyes. Sonic took her hand, and made her hold onto a ring she had never seen before. He closed his eyes then, and his grip loosened. She watched painfully as his hand slowly fell down onto the ground, landing with a thump.

It was as if everything had stopped for Rainbow Dash. Things, her breath, her heart, even her mind. Her body wouldn't react to a single sense or muscle. All she could do, was stare.

Stare at the body of her beloved, which was now bleeding and filled with blood. She felt as if she could die right now. Just fall back and die.

"NOO!"

As Rainbow Dash's scream went through the halls of Eggman's base, tears streamed down of her cheeks like waterfalls. It was as if she could cry forever. Cry forever, without stopping. She tightly held onto the ring Sonic had given her. A silver ring with a sapphire stone set in it. She heard a sudden laughter behind her.

"Hahahahahaha! Finally! I've finally destroyed that blue pest for good! Oh, I've been dreaming about this moment for years! Hahahahahah!" Eggman's laughter roamed through the hallway. It was filled with joy and happiness. Rainbow Dash's tears suddenly stopped falling. Suddenly there was no tears. Like nothing had happened.

'How dare he laugh at my Sonic like that?!' Rage started to fill inside of Rainbow Dash, and became the only emotion Rainbow Dash had.

"How dare you?" She asked darkly.

"Hm? What? You're gonna sit there and cry to your heart's content? Pathetic! Hahahahahaha!"

Suddenly Rainbow Dash laughed darkly. A dark and frightening laugh, one that would send chills down your spine.

"Hm? What's this? Why are you laughing like that?"

"It's just that, you just think that you have won this game, just like that. Well, listen to me, you pathetic old man…" A black aura surrounded Rainbow Dash as she finished her sentence "...personally, I don't agree"

The ice-cold blue tears that had landed on the floor turned into a horrific black. Her rainbow hair turned shadier and her cyan skin slowly turned a bit darker. Instead of her normal clothes, she wore a tight dark blue dress. Her hair burned down her back like flames and the once beautiful water blue color in the rainbow hair turned into a black color.

"What's this? What's going on? Who are you?" Eggman asked. Rainbow Dash laughed again, the same dark laughter roamed through the hallway. She stood up as the dark aura kept on surrounding her whole body.

"You may call me…" She turned towards him, and looked at him with dark blue eyes. "…Dark Dash. And now…" Her eyes went white, not having any irises or pupils. "…Time for you to pay!"
