Dark Dash's cold white sclera's stared at Metal and Eggman with an evil and dark expression. Eggman wasn't scared at however. He was only a bit shocked over her sudden transformation. The Elements don't have a dark side…So why does she have one? He looked at Metal.

"Metal, go take her" He said. Metal clutched his fist, and flew towards Dark Dash. His fist powered up with a purple aura, and he punched at her.

"WHAT!?" Eggman yelled.

Dark Dash's hand were clutching Metal's fist. She stood as if he hadn't hit her at all. She swung Metal over herself, and then threw him with force at Eggman. The Egg Mobile he was flying, hit with an enormous amount of power, and Metal flew directly through it. The Egg Mobile cracked and broke as Metal flew through a wall. Eggman clumsily fell out and landed on the floor. He looked frightened at Dark Dash whose sclera's still were the only thing that was visible at her eyes.

"H-How can this be?! N-Nobody has been as powerful as you!" He stammered scared and shocked. Dark Dash smirked evilly at him.

"You should have thought of that before making your death wish," She said darkly. She held her hand up as a black aura ball formed in her hand. Eggman gulped as he slowly backed away, but Dark Dash followed him step by step.

"L-L-Look, I-I am terribly sorry for killing Sonic. I-I didn't really mean it, I swear!" Eggman said. He suddenly reached the wall, as Dark Dash was only two meters from him. She stopped and her smirk grew.

"Sorry. But I show no mercy" She said. Suddenly the light blue Chaos Emerald popped out The Egg Mobile, and landed at Dark Dash. She looked at it and noticed that its color had changed from light blue to grey-black. Suddenly it shone bright. So bright, that it blinded everyone in the room. A huge explosion of light suddenly happened, and visible was nothing until after a minute. Eggman looked, but all he saw was the ruined metal hallway. All of them (including Sonic's body and The Emerald) were gone.

((Rainbow Dash IS back to normal, so she isn't Dark Dash anymore))

Rainbow Dash felt herself land on cold grass and dirt. She opened her eyes, and suddenly saw a pack of trees and bushes. She was in the forest near the base! She looked around for Fluttershy and their new friend. No one in sight though.

"Fluttershy? Where are you?" She called out. She suddenly heard rattling, and her eyes darted towards a bush. Fluttershy's and their new friend's head popped up from the bush. Rainbow Dash sighed in relief.

"Thank goodness" She said. They slowly walked over to her, confused.

"What happened to you back there Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy asked.

"I don't know…All I remember clearly is that I got super mad. That reminds me…" She looked around "How did we get here?"

"I don't know. The Chaos Emerald popped out and exploded, that's all I can remember" Said new friend. Rainbow Dash suddenly noticed the light blue Chaos Emerald behind her friends. She slowly walked over and took it. Its color had returned, and it like an ordinary Chaos Emerald. As she kept staring at it, tears rolled down her cheeks as she started to sob.

"Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy's soft voice asked. She slowly walked over to her and hugged her. Rainbow Dash gladly returned the hug as she cried into Fluttershy's shoulder. Fluttershy slowly rubbed her back as her sobbing went on loudly.

"Sonic…Sonic is…" Rainbow Dash sobbed.

"I know" Fluttershy said. It was the first time she had seen Rainbow Dash cry in her whole life. It was painful sight. One you would never want to see. Rainbow Dash slowly broke the hug and backed away while wiping her tears.

"Hey Rainbow Dash, are you okay?" Their new friend asked. Rainbow Dash smiled sadly at him.

"Y-Yeah. Just needed a shoulder to cry on" She said. "Come on. Let's go" She started to walk down the road in front of them with those two following behind closely.

Twilight sat worried as she stared into her cup of hot chocolate. She had had it for 15 min. and hadn't even come close to half of the cup. She was so worried. Sonic just suddenly ran away when they were making the plan, and possible he had ran to Eggman's base. Her worriedness was noticeable, and it had worried Tails even more as he spied on her behind a wall. He blew his cover by walking over to her and sat on a chair facing hers. She didn't look up at him, nor did she flinch or blink.

"Hey, Twily? Are you okay?" He asked. She flinched and finally looked up at him.

Twily…I haven't heard that name in 2 years…

Her brother had been busy with both duties as The Captain of The Royal Guard, The Crystal Prince and as a dad for her new niece, Amour (Note: Amour means "Love" on French). She also had bigger duties as an official Princess, plus protecting Equestria each week from an enemy. None of them had time for each other.

"Twily? Twily!"

Her eyes widened at the realization that Tails was talking. She snapped and nodded sadly.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Just worried sick" She said. He leaned forward and slowly took her hand. He gave it a tiny squeeze as he spoke "You don't have to worry Twily. I'm sure they'll both get back safe and sound," He said. He then noticed that the shield turned off. He ran over to the window and saw three people approach. Rainbow Dash, a yellow bat and…No way…

A white girl that shone bright as a Chaos Emerald walked in the middle of the forest to the west. As she walked, she looked around the dark forest. She slowly noticed something lying up a tree. The body of a bloody hedgehog. She approached him and looked at him curiously. She closed her eyes as the golden forehead-tiara with the purple diamond gave out a faint light. A tiny light-purple ball of light appeared out from the diamond and flew into the body. The body was surrounded in light and glowed for a moment until returned back to the normal bloody body.

"Awaken" She spoke. "The power enshrined in this gem…" She slowly kneeled down and touched his cheek lightly as he opened his eyes a bit. "…shall bring the lost life back into this world"

Rainbow sat in her room on her bed while keep mumbling the same name repeatedly again while crying waterfalls.

"Sonic…Sonic…"

"How long do you intend on doing that, Crybaby Dash!?" Knuckles asked harsh as he pulled the curtains at the window apart.

"Because you were careless in the race, your boyfriend has died!" He said.

"Knuckles!" Twilight said. Rainbow Dash looked down.

"My fault…" She slowly spoke. "Sonic died because of me…"

"Stand firm!" Knuckles said. "Why the big deal over someone's death?"

Rainbow's eyes widened and she ran up and grabbed Knuckles by the throat.

"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight said. Rainbow Dash stared at Knuckles with pure anger while the waterfalls kept coming as she screamed.

"What do you mean with by "someone"? He was special to me!" Twilight slowly tried to pull Rainbow Dash away, but her grip wouldn't loosen. "Sonic was a special person to me!"

Knuckles stared shocked at Rainbow Dash "Rainbow Dash…"

"Get out!" She yelled as she pushed him away. She fell to her knees and continued speaking while sobbing. "Leave me alone…Let me be alone!"

"Knuckles" Twilight said and walked over to him, lowering her head. "Let's go"

They both slowly walked out and left Rainbow Dash alone. She looked down at the ring with the blue stone that Sonic gave to her before he…

"Was it a mistake to arrange that race?" She asked herself. "Why did you go and die for the sake of my life? Sonic…I love you…I can say it without hesitation now! So….Please!" She closed her eyes and let the tears fall carelessly.

(Stop playing music)

She suddenly felt a glow in front of her eyes. She slowly opened them and her eyes widened when she saw the ring glowing.

Now she remembered it! Sonic had once told her that he had a ring that always glowed when his life force was alive. Did that mean then…!?

Rainbow Dash stormed out of her room and ran all the way out to the road right outside that followed out to the rest of Mobius. She panted and held the ring tight in her hand as she kept looking forward, only for her eyes to widen.

Standing down the road was a blue hedgehog.

"Sonic!" She whispered to herself as she started crying again.

They both started to run forward towards each other, but not at a high speed. Just as if they were running normally. Rainbow Dash's tears kept coming as she neared him. She jumped at him with open arms while saying "Sonic!" With sadness and happiness. Sonic stopped and smiled relieved as he caught her and swung her around himself a few times.
"Dash!" He said and fell down on the green grass with her on top. She looked at him, still sad and happy.

"Sonic! Sonic! It's really you Sonic! You're not a ghost are you? You're alive right?" Sonic gently stroke her cheek.

"Yeah. I'm back, Dashie"

She buried her crying head into his chest and he looked surprised at her.

"Idiot! Idiot! Idiot!" She yelled. "I thought you died! IDIOT!"

Sonic smiled again and closed his eyes while combing her rainbow hair. He gently lifted her chin up and made her looked at him.

"Dash" He slowly spoke. "I love you"

"Sonic…I…I love you too!" She yelled as she kissed him. They both blushed at their lips' made contact with each other. They usually didn't blush when they kissed each other. But maybe, this was a true kiss. A sign that they really loved each other dearly. Their lips' contact didn't break as their cheeks wetted each other's cheeks with warm tears.

"No, no, no, no, no!" Eggman yelled as he travelled around the control room. "That pest is alive! How!? And they now got a second Chaos Emerald!"

He looked around his control room as the bloody eagle claws and dragon leg. He angrily walked over to them and yelled down at them. "I THOUGHT YOU SAID THEY WERE ONLY BASED ON POSITIVE ENERGY! SO WHY DID THAT HEDGEHOG TURN DARK?!" He ran over and looked in the container box. He had forgotten something.

"AND THE BUTTERFLY TIARA IS GONE TOO! IDIOT!"

Annnd we're back at the racing track! Getting ready for a race!

"Alright, are you two ready? Are you sure you're ready?" Twilight asked. Sonic and Rainbow Dash both smirked and got in start position at the starting line. They both looked at each other, and gave a wink to each other. Twilight held up a hand and raised three fingers. She lowered the first one.

"Ready"

She lowered the second one, as they got tenser.

"Set"

She then lowered the last one, and with a scream.

"Go!"

The speedsters both took off in a blue and rainbow blur. As they kept on flying and running with their high speed on their own tracks, the crowd cheered both of their names out, in hopes of that person winning. As those two kept going, both of them were slightly faster than before, mostly because they focused much more than before. They finally came to a part where they could see each other. They both smirked at each other, telling 'I'm gonna win this'

They both had like an orb of wind around them. And with a loud 'BOOM!' (And a few broken ears) They both took off in a sonic boom! They were surprised by each other's sonic booms, but that didn't slow them down. They finally saw the start/finish line, and went faster as the crowd cheered louder.

"You died today, but that doesn't mean I'll let you win" Rainbow Dash said confidently to Sonic with a smirk. He smirked back and said. "Ha! Glad to see you've not gone soft!"

They both got close to the line, and with a quick run and fly, they made it past. They both stopped on the ground and looked excited at Twilight and Tails.

"So, who won?!" They asked in union. Twilight and Tails looked at the slow-motion camera and their eyes widened. The nerds kept blinking silently while staring at the camera.

"So, who won?" Rainbow Dash asked impatiently.

"It's…" Twilight started.

"A tie!" Tails finished.

"What!?" They both yelled surprised in union. Then Sonic chuckled.

"Guess there really is no 'Fastest thing alive' then" Sonic said. Rainbow Dash looked at him and smiled.

"Yeah. But that doesn't mean there's no such thing as 'Fastest things alive'" She said.

"That's right. And because of that…"

"…That means it's us!"

"So, does that mean we're both 'The Strongest Thing Alive'?" Applejack asked Knuckles curiously. Knuckles turned around and looked at her.

"Guess so. But we need a battle to determinate that correctly!" Knuckles said. Applejack smirked at his words and threw her hair back.

"Oh really? Well, we need to determine that very soon then. How does tomorrow sound?"

"You wanna lose so badly, then, sure cowgirl"

Applejack turned away and quickly ran away into the hallway while yelling to him.

"We'll see who is gonna lose hothead!"

"Oh just try-Wait, HOTHEAD!?" Knuckles stared angrily at the direction Applejack had ran, but then calmed down a bit and chuckled.

"Heh. That is kinda funny. Haha"
