Hey guys I was asked for my second sneak peek "Why would Shadow kill his own brother?" But to my knowledge Sonic and Shadow are not related. Shadow was created by Dr. Robotnik's great Grandfather with the DNA of the infamous leader of the Black Arms, Black Doom. Not to mention that Shadow was created fifty years before the game/episode where he was first introduced. Sonic is only a teenager in the games/show. Shadow was created before Sonic would have been born. It is possible that one of Sonic's ancestors DNA was used to make Shadow but since that is not implied or said it is only a theory. There is no guarantee that Shadow is related to Sonic, but there is no guarantee that he is not related. I was also asked "Why did Sonic only share his past with Shadow?" I'm not sure how to answer that because they weren't very specific… However if they are referring to how Sonic told his story of becoming a Werehog… then not only did I not remember to have him tell the ponies/others, it was Knuckles he shared it with… I finished my Halloween Special and I will warn you, Sonic does go on a homicidal killing spree, it is rated M but it is not related to the main story… So if you are easily disgusted then you can skip over it without missing anything. So now that that is out of the way we can begin the chapter!

Chapter 11

I opened my eyes to see I was in a field of all white, there was nothing around me. Just whiteness as far as the eye could see. I took a step and could hear my footsteps echoing. I saw something ahead, it was Discord, he had Twilight backed up onto the edge of a cliff, and several jagged rocks were at the bottom. I ran towards them, but I couldn't get any closer. Twilight fell, and before she hit the rocks I snapped awake… I was covered in a cold sweat, I heard Twilight humming from downstairs. I walked out and saw that she was rearranging the books on a shelf. When she noticed me she smiled and said "Good morning."

I forced a smile before replying "Good morning… So what are you doing?" I asked her. "Just rearranging some books…" She said. "I had the craziest nightmare…" I said before explaining what had happened. "What a strange dream… What do you think it means?" She asked me. I grabbed a book that she had dropped. "I'm not sure…" I replied before adding "We shouldn't let that ruin our day. Let's just do our best!" We left the library and found ourselves in the middle of what appeared to be an argument. "Yah can't have our apples and that's final!" I saw Applejack shout at a pair of twins. They were yellow, and had matching red and white manes. While one had a mustache the other had a bare face. I approached the three and asked "What's going on?" "They won't stop hounding us for our orchard!" Applejack shouted. "Well she won't give us the orchard!" The twins shouted. "Look, you can shout about it like little kids or you can work it out like the grown ponies you are." I said, before the twins turned their verbal assault on me.

"Who are you butting into somepony's business?" The one with the mustache shouted at me. "Yeah! Last time I checked you never even stepped a foot in that orchard!" The other one shouted. "Well, Applejack is my friend and I would help her till the end!" I said starting to raise my voice. "Don't you raise your voice at us!" They shouted in unison. "You shouted at me first!" I said getting seriously angry. I wanted to punch both of them in face, but I managed to calm myself down. "Look… I don't think we've met. I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog." I said, the twins looked at each other before the bare faced one said "I'm Flim, and he's Flam."

"How long have you been arguing for?" I asked. "Ever since they came into town! Not to mention they're a couple of con artists!" Applejack shouted. "You need to keep you're… Friend… Out our business!" Flam shouted at Applejack. "He was trying to help us settle this once and for all!" She shouted back. "W-WAIT!" I said nervously. "EXACTLY! BARGING INTO OUR BUISNESS!" Flim shouted. "H-HOLD ON NOW!" I said trying to break up the fight. A loud shout broke through the noise, silencing the three. It was Omega, who walked forward and said "Arguing is futile! There is only one way to settle this! You two! Against, Applejack and another of her choosing." Flim and Flam smiled. "A contest you say? Well we accept! If we win we get the deed to the orchard! If you win we'll never bother you again." Flim said, which caused a gasp to be heard throughout the crowd.

I watched in shock as Applejack turned to Omega and asked "You up for it partner?" Omega gave a curt nod before we all moved to the orchard. I looked nervously as I stepped forward. "The first of three competitions is Apple Bucking. The team that clears the most trees wins." I announced. I gulped nervously before starting the countdown. "Three… Two… One… GO!" I shouted, causing both teams to begin knocking into trees. Apples fell left and right, they kept going, Applejack's team had an advantage, Omega's metal body allowed him to ram into trees once and instantly move on without having to recover. Flim and Flam were behind, they were sweating like crazy both slowing their paces.

Applejack and Omega had cleared more trees by the time I yelled "STOP!" I looked at Flim and Flam and said "You two can take a breather. Round one goes to Applejack and Omega!" The crowd cheered while Flim and Flam glared at them. Once the twins were ready I announced the next competition. "The second of three competitions is Apple Gathering. The team that fills the most bins with apples wins. Three… Two… One… GO!" I shouted as the two teams rushed. Flim and Flam were filling their bins quickly while Omega had a disadvantage here. Omega is extremely strong, to the point that when he tried to grab an apple it was crushed in his hand. Omega attempted again only to have the same result. I could tell that he was frustrated, as each time an apple got crushed he seemed to get tenser… If that's even possible for a robot. "STOP!" I shouted, looking at the two teams. Flim and flam had ten bins of apples while Applejack and Omega had four.

"Round two goes to Flim and Flam!" I shouted causing the crowd to boo the twins. "They'll turn our way eventually… Once we have that orchard!" Flam shouted. "Failure… Imminent…" Omega said to me. "Come on buddy, there's still a chance left! The final of three competitions is Apple Crushing! The team that crushes the most apples wins! Winner takes all!" I shouted, before looking at both teams. "Three… Two… One… GO!" I shouted. Flim and Flam began to crush apples with their hooves, each one taking on a separate bin. Applejack was jumping on the apples, while the twins were crushing them individually. Omega started rotating his arms like a gattling gun. The apples in his bin were reduced to a mush within seconds. He quickly moved onto another bin before repeating the process. "STOP!" I shouted, I looked over the results and smiled. "Third and final round goes to…" I started, leaving everypony on the edge of their seats. "APPLEJACK AND OMEGA!" I finished, which caused the crowd to roar in delight.

I saw that Flim's left eye was twitching, while Flam's jaw hung open. "IMPOSSIBLE! YOU MUST HAVE CHEATED SOMEHOW!" Flim shouted in anger. I smiled before saying "They one fair and square. You two going to uphold your part of the deal?" I asked. They slowly nodded before walking to the end of town. "Sonic…" I heard Omega say. I turned to face the robot and he told me "I have noticed Shadow going missing for long periods of time. Should we worry?" "No, he's probably got a good reason for it." I replied before Applejack wrapped him in a hug. "Thank you so much! You don't know how much this means to me!" She shouted at him. "I was simply helping a friend… It was nothing." Omega responded.

"So Applejack? How about some cider to celebrate?" Rainbow Dash asked. Applejack smiled before shouting "Apple cider all around!" Leading the crowd to cheer. I smiled knowing that it was going to be a great night.
