I would just like to thank everyone for supporting me in writing this story! I feel so good I'm gonna give you another sneak peek at the sequel! Also someone asked me what I think of Chris from the show and I can't really comment on that because I never really used to watch the show. I liked the Sonic games more than the show.

Chapter 10

I followed Twilight down through the forest, until we came across a hut. It was tribal looking, decorated with masks and other items. A zebra came out who I assumed was this Zecora. "Ah, Twilight it is good to see you. Tell me, who is this friend of blue?" She asked. "I'm Sonic! Sonic the hedgehog!" I replied. "Sonic, I've heard so much. Of your heroic deeds and such." Zecora said to me. "Zecora we have a problem, Sonic was cursed by an ancient monster. Could you help us?" Twilight asked. Zecora smiled before replying "Of course I will help you! Come in let's see what I can do."

"Does she always speak in rhyme?" I asked. Twilight nodded before moving inside. I followed and saw a large cauldron in the center of the room, several shelves were lined with potions and unknown ingredients. "So Sonic you have a curse? Tell me, could it be worse?" Zecora asked me. "Well… At night, I turn into a monster…" I started. "A monster you say? Perhaps a potion may be the right way." Zecora said. "It was caused by another monster, its energy filled me causing the curse." I explained. She nodded in understanding before saying "A monster's evil energy. I'll make a potion very quickly." She walked over to the cauldron before mixing together several indigents. She scooped it in a bottle before offering it to me.

"So I drink it?" I asked. Zecora nodded before I held the bottle to my lips and drank it. "Kind of sweet… Tangy… Spicy… Hot… HOT! HOT! HOT! HOT! HOT!" I shouted. "Is it supposed to do that!?" Twilight asked. "It seems that the energy is too strong… A potion turned out to be wrong…" "MY TONGUE IS ON FIRE!" I shouted. "How long is this going to last?" Twilight asked. Zecora shrugged in response. "IT BURNS! IT BURNS!" I yelled. I was lying on the ground at that point. "PLEASE! MAKE IT STOP!" I shouted. I stood up before saying "I'm fine now."

"So… You can't help us?" I asked. Zecora shook her head before saying "Maybe magic is the key, you must find the right pony." "The right pony? Do you mean like one who can help with magic?" I asked. Zecora nodded before sending us off. We walked back into town to see a large stage set up. "What's this?" I asked. Twilight groaned before saying "I think I know who it might belong to…"

Music started playing as a light blue unicorn stepped onto stage, she wore a long light purple cape with a hat of a matching color. "BEHOLD! The GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE!" She shouted. "Not her again…" Twilight muttered. "You have a past with her?" I asked. "You could say that… She's convinced she's the most powerful unicorn ever." Twilight responded. "Let me guess you showed her up didn't you?" I asked. "Twice." Twilight replied with a smile. I saw Trixie surveying the crowd until she stopped on us.

"Ah Twilight Sparkle! You think you can beat me this time?" She asked cockily. Spike appeared as if out of nowhere before saying "She can handle any challenge you've got!" "I doubt she can… Not while Trixie has… THIS!" She shouted revealing a Chaos Emerald. "A Chaos Emerald!?" I asked. "Hah! This is Trixie's Gem of Power!" She shouted. "Well call it what you like but you need to hand it over." I replied. She laughed before shouting "Well then why don't you take my challenge? If you win you get the Gem of Power!" "Chaos Emerald!" I shouted. "And if Trixie wins she keeps the GEM OF POWER!" "CHAOS EMERALD!" I shouted. "All right you've got a deal." I said noticing the setting sun.

Trixie fired a blast of magic into the air creating several shapes and colors in the sky. "Beat that you porcupine!" Trixie shouted at me. I felt a pain in my chest, I clenched it before saying between heavy breaths "I'm… a… HEDGEHOG!" The transformation finished leaving everyone, but Trixie, astounded. "You're going to have to do better than that if you hope to beat Trixie." Trixie said to me. She fired a quick bolt of magic at me, and I grabbed it. "WHAT!? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!?" Trixie asked. "Never mess with a hedgehog…" I said before throwing the bolt back at her. It grew larger and turned a dark shade of red, Dark Gaia's energy had increased its strength. It was on course to hit her in the chest, she flinched expecting pain. When I saw she opened her eyes I was holding the bolt, my arm outstretched. "You wanna keep going?" I asked. Trixie dropped the Chaos Emerald before taking a step back and passing out. I crushed the bolt of magic causing small shimmers of crimson to hit the grass.

"And that is why you don't mess with Sonic the Hedgehog!" I shouted earning a cheer from the crowd that had gathered. "Sonic!" Twilight shouted before wrapping me in a hug. I was startled but returned the hug earning an "Aw…" from the crowd. I walked off with Twilight and Spike back into the Golden Oaks library. We walked inside to see a cluttered mess, gems were scattered around the ground, and several books on making gem related foods were open. We both looked at Spike who nervously smiled before running. I sighed before starting to place books onto shelves. "You know Sonic… I never got to thank your for our date." I heard Twilight say. "Twilight… I have to tell you something… I think… I think… I…" I started, but cut myself off. "I love you…" We both said in unison, shocking each other.

"Do you really mean that Sonic?" Twilight asked me. "Of course I do… I couldn't imagine leaving you…" I replied. She kissed my cheek before saying "Good night Sonic…" "Good Night…" I replied before continuing to clean the mess.

So I promised another sneak peek so here it is! This is going to be one of the three ending for the story. It will have three different endings, each one with a different element. Good, evil, and neutral. So it will end like the endings in the game Shadow the Hedgehog, but enough about that time for the Sneak Peak of the Evil ending.

"Shadow! Can't you see what she's done to you!? How many more lives must be lost before you can see!?" Sonic asked, as Shadow stood in front of him. "She has shown me that as long as they rule over this land we will never be treated equally! Even you must admit that!" Shadow replied. "Shadow please… I'm asking you as a friend… It's not too late to turn your back on her." Sonic said in a calmer tone, reaching out his hand. Shadow hesitated before taking Sonic's hand… "Sonic…" Shadow started, before jerking his hand downward, a sickening crack came from Sonic's arm. Sonic yelled in agony as Shadow stood over him.

"You are a fool. The only way to help them is by collecting all seven Chaos Emeralds." Shadow finished before grabbing Sonic's green Emerald. "You have them all Shadow… What are you going to do now?" Sonic asked. "I am Shadow the Hedgehog… King of the Changelings… I will lead my people to a new life, while reducing you and your pathetic ponies to feel the pain we were forced to feel for so long… This is who I am!" Shadow said before laughing while Chrysalis joined by his side. Shadow turned to face Sonic and lifted his right hand. "Goodbye Sonic…" Shadow muttered before quickly bringing his hand down on Sonic's neck. The last thing that went through Sonic's mind wasn't hate for Shadow or the Changelings, but love for his family.
