Chapter 42: Rescuing Fluttershy Arch PIII

After rescuing the Gekomon from Orochimon, the Tamers alongside the Sun Goddess went right back to work on making their way to Zaiquiomon's castle. Dragon Whispy was once again leading the way. Sailor Sun could tell that they were getting close. The remaining Tamers were chatting on how each of them met their Digimon. It was an interesting subject to talk about. Kento couldn't help but ask Sailor Sun "How'd you meet up with Gatomon?"

Sailor Sun smiled answering "In short, she was being used by Myotismon to find me so he could kill me. We met one day at my apartment and well after my brother's Agumon attacked, Gatomon rushed in to take the attack, pretty much right then we both knew were were partners."

Kazu scratched his head "Funny, that's how the Digidesten Kari Kamyia met Gatomon in the TV show."

Sailor Sun blushed red as Dragon Whispy spoke in a whisper to her "Wait till they figure out your human form outside Sailor Sun is Kari Kamyia."

"That'll shock them" Sailor Sun agreed muttering to Dragon Whispy.

Leomon would then speak up as Jeri was feeling a bit down and how she wasn't tough. He even went to say she had the heart of a lion which cheered her up a bit. It was right about then that Sailor Sun stopped as they were now close to Zaiquiomon's palace.

"What's wrong?" Henry asked her.

Sailor Sun points outward towards what she was seeing.

All at once the Tamers could all shout seeing who it was with surprise "No way Beelzemon!"

Beelzemon heard them and stares at them "Well, well, well, look who finally showed up."

Sailor Sun held her Sun Staff close knowing that this time, they had to fight him as she stares at him determined to do anything to stop Beelzemon.

Takato was at a loss "How'd you get in front of us when battling Marcus Damon?"

Beelzemon sneered at the Tamers then glared at Sailor Sun "Sun Goddess! Does it occur to you that you need to do something about those data streams?"

Sailor Sun blinked having a feeling what happened "Don't tell me..."

Beelzemon nods growling in what Sailor Sun could tell was a slight lie "I was so close in defeating Marcus Damon and Merukimon!"

"I find that hard to believe Marcus would lose to you" Sailor Sun told him.

He growls "Even if you deem that a lie, that doesn't change the fact that the data streams INTERUPTED OUR FIGHT!"

"Now that last part makes sense" Sailor Sun sighed then she shook her head "Marcus will be angry for days that the fight was interrupted."

"As he should!" Beelzemon told her "And I'm angry at that too! Anyway I'm on an official business! I need to eliminate the Tamers and seriously...Takuma's not with you?"

"We're still separated from him" Takato told Beelzemon "But I'm sure if he was with us, he'd help us get past!"

"Or maybe get all over his head" Kento muttered.

Beelzemon was on top of his motercycle "So Sun Goddess, I understand you have some business to attend to with the Sovereign and I'd rather not kill you, so if you'd please, get out of the way, you and your pony friend can go."

Sailor Sun holds her staff "I don't abandon anyone! These Tamers are here to rescue two friends of there's and I'm here to make sure that happens."

"Then you'll die with them!" Beelzemon declares Sailor Sun grips her Sun Staff "Do your worst!"

Beelzemon brings out his guns "Then I shall!"

Henry couldn't help but not try to help "Digi-Modify...Matrix Digivolution Activate!"

Terriermon spoke "Terriermon Digivolve too...Gargomon!" "Gargomon Digivolve too Rapidmon!"

Rapidmon was right at Sailor Sun's side "Think twice! Rapid Fire!"

The blasts hit Beelzemon causing an explosion but it didn't do anything but make Beelzemon target him "So be it then Double Impact!"

He fired his own guns at Rapidmon striking the Ultimate Level Digimon rapidly. Sailor Sun takes the time to aim her Sun Staff "Sun, Solar Flare Burst Storm!"

Beelzemon didn't have much time to react as the attack hit him full force. Now even though Sailor Sun herself was at Ultimate Level Strength, Beelzemon found the attack actually damaging him. He eyes the Sun Goddess with surprise that it actually hurt him "Impossible!"

He glares at the Sun Goddess "So...You're not just some pretty face! You can actually hurt me!"

"That was just her Ultimate Level attack too" Dragon Whispy muttered out a little too big "Her Mega Level attack is the most damaging."

Beelzemon comes at Sailor Sun on his motorcycle. Rika and Takato think fast and they swipe their cards through their D-Arch "Digi-Modify, Digivolution activate!"

"Renamon Digivolve too...Kyubbimon!"

"Guilmon, Digivolve too...Growlmon!"

Kyubbimon rushes and manages to tackle Beelzemon off his vehicle. The result though caused her to fall to the ground trying to get up. Beelzemon comes over towards her to try to finish her off "Grenade Destroyer!" Guardromon spoke.

Two missiles came at Beelzemon striking him but they did nothing. He glares at Guardromon whom backs away. "Pyro Blaster!" Growlmon shouts.

Beelzemon manages to dodge before kicking Growlmon down to the ground.

He then comes back to a weakened Kyubbimon "Now I shall eliminate you first!"

"Don't Impmon!" Kyubbimon begged him.

He ignores her raising a claw while Rika checked her cards to see if she could do anything as she thought If only I had Takuma's Teleportation card...

Sailor Sun came for Kyubbimon's defense using her Sun Staff to block Beelzemon's claws. Beelzemon glared at her "Why throw away your life like this?"

Leomon also had taken the time to grab onto him "It is her duty as the leader of the Digital World and all Digimon! She fights against all that is evil!"

Leomon then punches Beelzemon in the face twice as he continued his lecture "There is nothing to be gained with true power! Nothing to prove! The Sun Goddess didn't get to her position with all good Digimon liking her for her strength alone! She fights to protect others!"

Sailor Sun was silent but agreed with a simple nod Leomon hit the exact words perfectly. However even she was unprepared for what happened next. Beelzemon growls "POWER IS ALL I NEED! DARKNESS CLAW!"

Beelzemon ran Leomon's chest through with his claw. Leomon roars before falling to the ground. Reality hit in for Jeri as she seen this. Leomon just looks at Jeri telling her to always try to be strong and not to forget that she had the heart of a lion before desolving. Sailor Sun gripped her Sun Staff angrily, this was the second time she had to witness a Leomon die. Okay, so she didn't see how the first Leomon she knew died, but she heard about from Joe and Mimi whom witnessed it. Takato gripped his hands angrily "BEELZEMON YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT!"

Somehow Takato was able to Digivolve Growlmon into WarGrowlmon without the usage of his Digi cards. WarGrowlmon charges Beelzemon whom dodges and fires his guns at it. Sailor Sun tried to keep her own anger in gripping her Sun Staff angrily then watches this and felt both sadness and sorrow while looking at how sad Jeri looked at seeing her Digimon's death. She gripped her staff angrily "This will be for Leomon!"

She watches as WarGrowlmon wasn't enough to take Beelzemon down. She rushes feeling herself grow strong thanks to Kyubbimon but she needed more. If there was a battle she needed Gatomon this was it still she wanted to protect Fluttershy as well. She had to do something! Takato growls "WARGROWLMON DIGIVOLVE AGAIN!"

The middle of Takato's Digivice starts to glow bright red and the symbol on WarGrowlmon's chest starts to glow. Sailor Sun began to have a bad feeling "Oh-no. This feeling...It's like SkullGreymon but I can tell...Much worse."

Even Dragon Whispy starts to shake uneasy then the Data streams turn bright red all over the Digital World.

Takuma with Goldmon at his side was walking with Thomas, Gaomon, Marcus and Marcus's Agumon when they too saw the data streams turn red and the world started to crack. The two DATS members stop at once, as does Takuma. Despite how angry he was at having Fluttershy be kidnapped by the Deva Makuramon, Takuma felt this anger was one of his friends. He even instantly knew who it was "Takato? What's going on?"

Marcus had a feeling he knew what "Something must've happened with the Tamers! Something bad."

"This feeling of anger..." Thomas muttered "Is high!"

Takuma turned to Goldmon "Thomas...Marcus I think we must start trying to get to our friends faster."

"You're making sense now" Marcus admitted looking at the red data streams "This is certainly telling me something wrong has happened."

"And the Sun Goddess maybe in trouble" Thomas said he turned to Gaomon "I think we must make quick pace now."

"Sir, yes sir!" Gaomon told Thomas.

The six start to break into a much more faster run northward.

It the Data Squad headquarters a female Dats officer was picking up the single. She knew Hypnos was getting readings too. She turned to Yoshino whom sees this happening as well. Yoshino rushes to Spensor Damon whom was still watching the interrogation session Commander Sampson was having with Yamaki. The Director turned to her "Yoshino?"

"Director...We may have a problem. We've located a very big Digimon single...It's massive that Earth, the Digital World and Equestria may have a big problem."

Director Damon heard this and was concerned "Prepare to standbye and lend aide to Earth. Contact Keenan whom is in Equestria and let him know about this. I'd rather not have Ponyville damaged another time."

"Gotcha" Yoshino said nodding.

She runs out the door to contact Keenan. Director Damon knocks on the door in DATS's Interrogation room. Sampson was about to ask Yamaki another question when they heard the knock "Hold on that thought Mr. Yamaki" Sampson told him he turned to the door "Come in!"

Director Damon opened the door "Sorry to interrupt the interrogation old friend. Yoshino just reported to me that there is a huge Digivolving single."

Kudomon literally felt it right then and Yamaki could tell the Digimon was actually fearful of this. This started to make him rethink his options about Digimon as Kudomon admitted "This normally won't be a problem...But this Digivolving single...Is a bad one."

"How bad" Yamaki asked alarmed.

Kudomon answered "Damage could be done to not only the Digital World, but Earth and Equestria. Sampson...Dats should be ready for anything."

"One step ahead of you" Director Damon said "I've ordered Yoshino to be ready to respond to any type of threat that could happen."

"And what of Keenan and Falcomon?" Sampson asked him.

"Yoshino's informing Keenan of this as we speak" Director Damon said he turned to Yamaki "With such strength, it maybe of a good idea for Hypnos to try to help stop whatever this is."

Kudomon agreed "If this doesn't stop, not just the Digital World could be affected but Earth and Equestria."

Yamaki willingly agreed at this "At this point we have to trust the kids and this Sun Goddess."

Kudomon shook his head yes "Something tells me our Sun Goddess is in over her head for once. This is getting too frightening...No telling what could happen if this isn't settled soon."

Yamaki was allowed out to try to help DATS out. He even contacted his two assistants at Hypnos telling them to do whatever they can to inform DATS of anything they collected on their end.

Inside Equestria Keenan was informed of this as well. Silver-Quill, Dr. Wolf, Commander Firebrand and Princes Celestia were long gone. He rushes over to Ponyville with Falcomon at his side. He finds Twilight whom sees the youngest Data Squad member nervous. The Unicorn rushes over to him concerned. Once over towards him she asked "What's up? Any word of the Tamers?"

"No word on Takuma or his friends just yet" Keenan explained "But Digital World, Earth where humans live, and Equestria maybe in deep trouble."

Twilight could tell that this coming from Data Squad was probably a bad thing. She eyes them "What's going on?"

"Digivolving single" Falcomon explained "But it's different. Data Squad does have people watching Data singles too and they've detected red data streams."

"Red Data Streams?" Twilight asked.

Keenan nods "Normally these data streams are pink. We aren't exactly sure of how this started but if there is red data streams...Something bad is happening and not just the Digital World maybe effected."

Twilight understood "Are you saying this may have an impact on this Earth and Equestria?"

Keenan gives her nod "Yes, ma'am. Don't worry Falcomon and I have been ordered to stay here just in case anything does happen."

"Thanks for the info" Twilight spoke "Shall I start another evacuation?"

Keenan shrugged "Tell everyone here to stay calm. We aren't sure if this can be fixed but if it can be fixed then there maybe no need to evacuate. Data Squad didn't say evacuate yet anyway."

"Alright then" Twilight said running off.

Falcomon turned to Keenan "This feels oddly familiar to ShineGreymon going into Ruin Mode."

Keenan grits his teeth "Great! But Marcus learned his lesson."

"I'm sure this isn't Marcus's doing" Falcomon told him.

Keenan blinks whispering "Takuma?"

"I doubt Takuma would do this in his anger" Falcomon admitted "If I remember correctly though...Guilmon has the hazard symbol on his chest."

Keenan gets it "Oh-no. Takato's doing?"

Falcomon shrugged "I can't confirm that but it just might be his doing by accident."

Keenan turned to Falcmon "Let's hope that things settle down."

"Indeed" Falcomon admitted.

The two Data Squad members settle down waiting for anything to pop up

In Zaiquiomon's castle Gatomon was still guarding Fluttershy. She was amazed Makuramon never got the guts to walk up to the area where Fluttershy was being held prisoner. Things seemed normal but Gatomon suddenly flinches nearly collapsing sensing what was going on. Fluttershy managed to grab Gatomon by the tail "Are you okay?"

"Something's going on" Gatomon admitted she turned her head around towards Fluttershy "Something bad."

As they were speaking Calumon's red triangle on his head glew and sent out a red beam of light outward. Makuramon whom didn't like where this was going at ether had left to confront Beelzemon about this. Gatomon heard him leave when Zaiquiomon's sounded "Gatomon...If you must know that beam is the beam of Digivolution, the reason why we needed Calumon in the first place."

Gatomon heard him standing in front of Fluttershy "Save your explanations when the Sun Goddess arrives to take you in!"

"You still insist in protecting that human? Gatomon why do you insist on protecting that girl?" Zaiquiomon quizzed.

Gatomon answered "Why do I protect Fluttershy? It's because you are treating her as a prisoner! You are not giving her food or water! You kidnapped her from her home of Equestria where she means no harm!"

"No harm?" Zaiquiomon asked her "Look what one organization has been doing to us! And I'm not talking about DATS. They even I'll admit are humans that I could trust!"

Gatomon held her paws out "I'm not interested in any organization other than DATS! I work for the Sun Goddess and I've protected her with all my heart! She'd want me to stay and protect Fluttershy from you!"

Zaiquiomon was silent then spoke in a threatening manner "So much for trying to win you over. In the end you are just like the Tamer's Digimon...Nothing more than a mere puppet! You will die alongside Fluttershy tomorrow."

Gatomon stood in front of Fluttershy bravely looking at him "Do your worst!"

The raging flames chuckled at this challenge "As you wish. I shall enjoy deleting you then."

The Raging Flames soon stopped talking. Fluttershy blinked scared "Gatomon..."

Gatomon turned to her "Don't worry, I gave the Sun Goddess my word. Fluttershy, if he does try to kill you listen, I've managed to loosen up your cage slowly everyday sense I've met you. When he comes to execute you or me, I'll face off against him to distract him. Then you and Calumon must go."

Fluttershy "But the Sun Goddess..."

Gatomon gave her a small smile "She'll understand that I've done my duty."

A new voice spoke to her "Gatomon..."

Gatomon blinked turning as a Dragon appeared causing Fluttershy to immediately faint. Gatomon "Majiramon! Ultimate Level Dragon Deva Digimon!"

The Dragon Deva spoke seeing Fluttershy in her cage. Normally he'd never question the Sovereign which created him but he himself had grown close Dragon Whispy. The two seemed to strike a good friendship. Gatomon prepared to defend Fluttershy with her life saying to Calumon "If he attacks me...Take Fluttershy and run."

Majiramon held up a claw "I'm not here to fight you. In fact I'm here to help you protect this human girl."

Gatomon blinked "But you're a Deva!"

"I know" Majiramon spoke "However she doesn't deserve to die. Plus it would make Dragon Whispy mad at me if I'd allow this to continue."

"You say that as if you and her were partners" Gatomon told him.

"That's because" Majiramon spoke "Ever sense I helped the Sun Goddess to help rescue her years ago, Dragon Whispy and I have wanted to be partners. Here's my chance to help Dragon Whispy out...Besides..." he eyes Gatomon with truthful eyes that told her he wanted to help "I might be a Deva, but that doesn't mean I'm in agreement with Zaiquiomon. Besides I was offered a new Deva job serving AzuLongmon."

Gatomon's ears perked up "The Sovereign that the Sun Goddess likes!"

The Dragon Deva nods "Yes, he too is aware of what Zaiquiomon is trying to do and is making his way over to us. After looking after that red blob trying to figure out what it is."

Gatomon relaxes "Well alright so what would you have me do?"

The Dragon Deva turns to her "We'll protect Fluttershy together. However the Sun Goddess needs you more than ever."

Gatomon nods showing her claws feeling that Sailor Sun did need her "Alright then! But how do I get to her?"

The Dragon Deva turned to Calumon "Calumon...Gatomon needs you to Digivolve her. Try to do it."

"Well okay" Calumon said his jewel glowing red.

Gatomon ran out of a window feeling Calumon's power "Gatomon, Armor Digivolve too... Nefertimon, the Angel of Light!"

The Dragon Deva watched briefly as Gatomon evolved into her armored sphinx form for a while then he turned to Fluttershy concerned for her safety as he thought This is for you Dragon Whispy. I'll protect your fellow Equestrian friend in Gatomon's place.

The Tamers watched as WarGrowlmon seemed to evolve into a big red dragon Digimon. Rika read through her D-Arch "That's MegiDramon...Mega Level Dragon type Digimon."

MegiDramon tackles Beelzemon onto the ground. Sailor Sun watches as the collision takes Beelzemon down "GET OFF ME and stop drolling!"

It is then that MegiDramon's hazard single keeps on glowing. Henry then spoke to Sailor Sun "That's the Hazard Symbol! It can be very dangerous if uncontrolled. Sun Goddess...I should've known when I first saw it on Guilmon"

Sailor Sun frowned "Don't blame yourself for that. Anyone could've missed it."

It is at this time Makuramon arrived "You are quite weak of a Mega Level Digimon."

"I'm not weak!" Beelzemon shouted glaring at Makuramon.

Sailor Sun had a feeling what was going to happen "Makuramon! Stand down!"

Makuramon eyes the Sun Goddess "Sun Goddess! Stay out of this!"

"I can't now that your master has Fluttershy" Sailor Sun told him "But-"

Beelzemon had enough of the Deva putting his hand on the Deva's head "What the?" was all the Deva could ask as Beelzemon crushes his head off deleting him.

Dragon Whispy shook her head "She was trying to save your life. Oh well, saves Gatomon the trouble of deleting you herself."

"We've gotta take him down" Henry told Rika whom nods.

Rika took her blue card "Digi-Modify, Matrix Digivolution activate!"

"Kyubbimon, Matrix Digivolve too...Taomon!"

She and Rapidmon were flying towards Beelzemon. It was Rapidmon that spoke first "Tri Beam!" Taomon drew her paint brush "Talisman of Light!"

Before they could compete their attack Beelzemon shot out two red balls at the two Ultimate Level Digimon. Sailor Sun reconized them "That's Makuramon's attack!"

"Can't break free!" Rapidmon shouted.

Taomon tried to form a barrier to do it but nothing worked. Henry thought fast and tells Rika to try to use the Alis card. The two Tamers do and managed to free their Digimon but it took them down to Rookie Level.

With the added power boost Beelzemon was able to downright demolish MegiDramon almost defeating him. While this was going on Takato then realized his mistake "Oh, what have I done?"

Even his Digivice was cracked. Things looked grim as Sailor Sun tries to buy Takato time to recover Guilmon. She swings her Sun Staff at Beelzemon whom catches it and brings her in close to his body and spoke on mocking term "Time to die my 'Sun Goddess' Darkness-"

"Rosetta Stone!" a voice shouted.

A sharp stone hit Beelzemon in the back causing him to release his grip. He turned throwing Sailor Sun against a cliff. Sailor Sun saw Nerftimon "Nerfitmon? IS that you?"

"It is me my Sun Goddess!" Nefertimon told her "I've come to help."

"What about Fluttershy?" Dragon Whispy asked.

"She's being protected by Majiramon!" Nerftimon said.

Dragon Whispy blushes "He came to save her?"

"He's working for AzuLongmon now" Nefertimon told her.

Sailor Sun turned to Dragon Whispy "Go to him and help Fluttershy out!"

"Gotcha!" Dragon Whispy said saluting the Sun Goddess.

She focuses in her magic and teleports. Beelzemon sees Nerftimon "So you want to die too hugh?"

"Try it!" Nefertimon said landing on the ground and soon went back to Gatomon.

Gatomon turned to Sailor Sun "Sun Goddess, let's do this!"

Sailor Sun nods bringing out her Digivice which was now DAT'S version "Just like old times. D.N.A Charge...Overdrive!"

Gatomon charges forward "Gatomon, Warp Digivolve too...MagnaDramon!"

Having the Holy Dragon Digimon at her side instantly bumps Sailor Sun up to Mega Level and she comes at Beelzemon. Beelzemon sees her as she was too fast now. Sailor Sun jumps into the air whirls her Sun Staff around "THIS IS FOR LEOMON!"

She then swung her staff catching Beelzemon in his face. This sent Beelzemon flying and onto his back he then gets up glaring at Sailor Sun "That hurt!"

"Good!" Sailor Sun told him "BECAUSE YOU PISSED ME OFF! There's more to that where that came from!"

He then sees her glowing with white light "How did you jump to Mega?"

MagnaDramon answered "The moment and Angel or Holy Digimon arrives she instantly goes into a Mega Level form! I don't know what happened to Leomon, but I can guess that by how Jeri is crying you killed him! Now Fire Tornado!"

"Sunlight Gamma Ray!" Sailor Sun shouts.

Beelzemon could only watch as the two attacks catch him and sent him backwards. Beelzemon gets up "Is that how you're going to play hugh? Two against one hugh? It'll be a pleasure to kill you Sun Goddess!"

"Try it!" MangaDramon spoke.

"She's gonna need help" Takato said realizing it.

He manages to get to Guilmon "Oh Guilmon, I wish I could help out more."

Guilmon wakes "Takatomon? We can."

Takato turned "I wish there was someway we could work together to beat him! If we could join forces we'd help the Sun Goddess out!"

"You're right" Guilmon said "He won't have a chance against us and the Sun Goddess!"

It is then Takato felt something, his heart becoming one with Guilmon. Then the second Biomerge began with Takato shouting "Biomerge Activate!"

"Guilmon...Digivolve too...Gallantmon!"

Soon the famous red, and white armored Royal Knight appeared. In his hands was a big lance.

Beelzemon sees this newcomer "What?"

Rika spoke as Gallantmon's image came on the D-Arch "Wow! Gallantmon...Mega Level Royal Knight type Digimon."

"Looks like that's the true final Mega Form of Gallantmon" Henry admitted.

Gallantmon walked over to Sailor Sun and MagnaDramon "May I be your assistant Sun Goddess?"

Sailor Sun nods "I'm ready to end this fiend's life!"

"Fiend?" Beelzemon demanded.

"She has every right to call you that!" Gallantmon spoke "We all gave you a chance to be our friend, and yet time, after time again you betrayed that chance! You even killed Leomon and you're not showing remorse! For that me and the Sun Goddess can't forgive you! For that you will be destroyed."

"I'M NOT ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS!" Beelzemon shouts as he gets back on his motorcycle.

He charges all three of his opponents. Sailor Sun had to jump out of the way or else Beelzemon would've ran her over. MagnaDramon simply flew up to avoid the attack altogether while Gallantmon and Beelzemon crossed claws and lance. Sailor Sun, Gallantmon, and MangaDramon watch as he seemed to become invisible while circling them.

"This is odd" MagnaDramon admitted "I can't seem to pick up the real one."

"Me ether" Sailor Sun admitted.

Gallantmon was also looking around for the real Beelzemon. Suddenly the real Beelzemon appears managing to take all three of his opponents off guard seemingly to attack them in all angles.

"He just body slammed them!" Kento spoke.

"Even the Sun Goddess couldn't see him coming" Kazu admitted.

Beelzemon was now firing his guns rapidly at Sailor Sun, MangaDramon, and Gallantmon while circling them once more.

"I have something in mind" Gallantmon told the two "Follow my lead and hide under my cape."

MangaDramon spoke "Well alright."

Sailor Sun had indeed felt what Gallantmon was planning "Very well."

The two hid behind Gallantmon's cape. With one move Beelzemon seemed to strike Gallantmon head on. Gallantmon discarded his cape leaving Beelzemon confused on what was happening "What just happened? Where are you cowards?"

"Lightning Joust!" Gallantmon's voice shouted.

"Fire Tornado!" MagnaDramon's voice sounded.

"Sunlight Gamma Ray!" Sailor Sun's voice sounded last.

Three attacks rained down from the sky and onto Beelzemon. This knocked him off his bike even somehow destroying it as multiple explosions sounded. Out of several cracks a new Deva emerged. He was watching the whole thing appearing startling the Tamers. He spotted Jeri and goes to finish her off. Terriermon sees this and intervenes in protecting Jeri. Hearing the Rookie Level's screams of pain caused Gallantmon to turn his focus on the Deva seemingly to rush out of the fire "You certainly can defeat a Rookie Deva but you can't defeat me. Lightning Joust!"

The attack hits the Deva deleting him as he spoke "FOR THE SOVEREIGN!"

"Don't mind that I do!" Beelzemon shouted absorbing the data of the Deva.

"Oh-no" Sailor Sun muttered "That can't be good."

"You got that right" MagnaDramon admitted.

Beelzemon attacks his three opponents firing his guns. Sailor Sun manages to avoid them as he comes at her raising his claw "Time to take you down!"

Gallantmon's lance intercepted Beelzemon's claw "You won't take her that easily!"

"Don't throw away your life because of our Sun Goddess!" Beelzemon spoke.

"The Sun Goddess is the true ruler here!" Gallantmon told him he turned to Sailor Sun "Please, Sun Goddess may I finish him alone?"

Sailor Sun nods "Fine, but if you need help then I'm here."

Beelzemon took aim at Kazu and Kento trying to get something out of it but Gallantmon intervenes protecting them. The two boys were confused at this trying to figure out where Takato could've went. It then dawned on Kento that Gallantmon was Takato. Beelzemon was speedy yes but with his vehicle destroyed he tried to match up against Gallantmon even causing Gallantmon to fall head first onto the ground. It seemed as if Beelzemon looked to be the winner and he was about to finish Gallantmon off when "Gernade Destroyer!"

Two missiles strike Beelzemon causing him to draw attention to them. Kazu then spoke "Good shooting Guardromon!"

Sailor Sun took the time to combine her attack with MangaDramon "Let's help Gallantmon just a bit more! Sunlight Gamma Ray!"

"You read my mind!" MagnaDramon announced "Fire Tornado!"

Sailor Sun's attack mixed with MagnaDramon's attack forming a massive fiery tornado like ray.

Beelzemon took the attack and it forced him more back. Gallantmon managed to get up "Thanks Kazu, Kento, MagnaDramon, and Sun Goddess!"

He turned to Beelzemon whom tried to fire his guns but they were out of bullets. Gallantmon then spoke "Even now you show no remorse and now here is my attack, Lightning Joust!"

Takato's attack hit Beelzemon square in the chest sending him backwards. Gallantmon then put his shield "And now to stop you! Shield of the Just!"

Gallantmon's triangles on his shields lit up and then sent a massive beam at Beelzemon. Beelzemon takes the attack and is sent plowing into rocks shattering them. He was weakened badly as Gallantmon walks over to him "Now I shall end this!"

Gallantmon raised his lance for the killing blow. Jeri watches to see if the Sun Goddess was going to allow this to happen. To her surprise the Sun Goddess was willing. She could see the Sun Goddess was hurting too at witnessing Leomon's death. Jeri then spoke "DON'T!"

"Jeri?" Gallantmon asked.

Sailor Sun turned to her "Jeri..."

"Just don't fight him that way" Jeri pleaded.

Gallantmon puts down his lance and seems to glow returning to Guilmon and Takato with Takato speaking "I'm sorry Jeri."

"Why would you defend me?" Beelzemon asked "After all I did."

Jeri eyed him "It's true you killed Leomon and I hate you for that! However killing you won't bring Leomon back. Leomon died because I was weak but if they did kill you that meant I was too weak to even stop this."

All was silent at hearing this even Sailor Sun did. She saw Jeri's point. Beelzemon had some time to think on his actions. Thinking back to the humans that had abused him and refused to get along with each other. He remember terrorizing the ponies of Equestria whom were peaceful. This seemed to cause him to get up and vanish.

"Everyone alright?" a voice asked.

Takato turned as Marcus, Merukimon, Thomas, Takuma and there Digimon arrived on the scene.

"Ah!" Goldmon complained "We missed something!"

"You missed Takato going into Gallantmon and defeated Beelzemon!" Kazu told the scorpion Digimon.

Marcus turned to Takato whom eyed him "Marcus..."

Marcus formed a fist "Good work, although I kind of wish I could settle my fight with him."

"You may want to reconsider that" Sailor Sun told Marcus "I mean I know you would've beaten him."

"You bet I would!" Marcus told her "Had that data stream not interrupted the fight, ShineGreymon Burst Mode would've defeated him for sure."

"You had to go into burst mode to defeat him?" Sailor Sun asked blinking she then thought Beelzemon was incredibly powerful and must've been to handle both ShineGreymon and Merukimon...Marcus doesn't usually use Burst Mode often any more so if he had to resort into that then Beelzemon must've been strong.

Sailor Sun turned to Gatomon "We're at the castle now aren't we?"

Gatomon nods "Yep, and luckily we've got here now, because Zaiquiomon spoke about executing me and Fluttershy tomorrow."

Takuma grips his fist "Like I'll let that happen."

"We now need a plan to get inside there" Thomas said "And I think I have one."

He turned to Gatomon "You say the Dragon Deva is on our side?"

Gatomon nods "He is."

He nods "And there are two ways into the castle right?"

"Correct again" Gatomon admitted.

Thomas had the plan he spoke "Alright, Takuma, now pay attention. We'll split our forces up into two groups. Takato."

"Yes?" Takato asked him.

Thomas answered "You, Takuma, Rika, Henry, and Kazu will go into the castle's front. Zaiquiomon will most likely deal with your group. Once inside you'll be forced to fight him."

Takuma grips his hands turning to Goldmon whom nodded "If he wants a fight we'll give him one!"

Thomas then turned to Sailor Sun "Sun Goddess, Marcus, Merukimon and I will assist you from going up the back door of the castle."

Sailor Sun liked the plan already "I see what you are doing. While the Tamers fight Zaiquiomon we'll be saving Fluttershy."

Thomas nods he turned to Takuma "It's important you don't exactly destroy Zaiquiomon just yet. Our goal is to rescue Fluttershy and Calumon. Once Calumon and Fluttershy are saved we'll then rejoin each other outside of the castle for the true battle against Zaiquiomon."

All heads agree to the plan. It was one Takuma would've came up with himself. They certainly had the numbers to divide and conquer.

Finally this chapter is over. Sitting through 3 episodes of Digimon Tamers to get this chapter done right was a chore. I prefer creating my own scenes as it gives me more ideas to how it should be going but these three episodes I did watch through were needed in the end. Anyway, next chapter. Chapter 43 Rescuing Fluttershy PIV: The Tamers enter Zaiquiomon's castle in order to confront him while Marcus, Merukimon, Sailor Sun and Thomas sneak in the back. This time will MetalScorpionmon be enough to defeat Zaiquiomon or would another Mega Level be needed to help?
