Chapter 43: Rescuing Fluttershy Arch P IV

Takato lead Henry, Rika, Kento, Kazu, and Jeri to the front entrance of Zaiquiomon's castle. This was the moment of truth for Takuma. The biggest reason why he came to the Digital World to rescue Fluttershy from the Sovereign Digimon's clutches. Rescuing Calumon was also a top priority for the group. For once the Tamers had a plan thanks to Thomas from the Digimon Data Squad. The Tamers were to go into the front entrance to battle Zaiquiomon while the Sun Goddess, her Digimon Gatomon, Marcus with his Digimon Agumon and Thomas with Gaomon at his side rescued Fluttershy by sneaking in the back door of Zaiquiomon's castle. Honestly Takuma had to admit that this was the best plan they could afford, Takuma realized that sooner or later they'd have to take Zaiquiomon down so in this case a battle with him was something they had to do.

"Alright now" Takato spoke to his group "We're in position. All we have to do is tell the Sun Goddess were in position and ready to go inside."

He was greeted by many nods from the group. Takato manages to reach out to Sailor Sun "Sun Goddess, my friends and I are in position. We're about to go inside."

"Good" Sailor Sun reported "My groups in position as well. Proceed."

"Got it" Takato said.

He then turned to his friends "Kazu, I'd like you and Kento to stay out to watch over Jeri. I don't want you to lose Guardromon."

"Got it" Kazu said "I'll watch over Kento and Jeri."

Takato turns to Takuma "Takuma, do you know by any chance what we are up against?"

Takuma shrugged "Just because Thomas rescued me doesn't mean he told me exactly what we'd be going up against. Only that this Zaiquiomon is a Mega Level Digimon. So we'd best be prepared to fight him."

"Then let's go!" Terriermon announced "No sense waiting for an invitation."

Renamon agreed "It's now or never."

Goldmon spoke "With the four of us together, Zaiquiomon stands no chance!"

"Careful there" Takuma warned Goldmon "Zaiquiomon maybe a Mega Level Digimon and we have the advantage four to one and four can go Ultimate but we'd need to be on our toes."

Guilmon growls "Agreed. Now let's get going and do our part to save Fluttershy!"

Henry, Rika, Takato, and Takuma with their Digimon run forward towards the castle all four Tamers missed Terriermon slowly seemingly becoming invisible at times. Takuma then notices how sad Jeri looked still. He felt sorry for her loss but something told him that Jeri was holding her emotions in and he knew this wasn't a good sign.

The Tamers didn't have to run for long, for once they got to a specific area in the castle they were encased in a bubble which took the four straight towards Zaiquiomon.

"Okay" Takato spoke "This is new."

"It is what we want though" Takuma admitted.

"Stay focus everyone" Takato told the group.

"No need to tell us that part" Rika told him "I mean this is a battle we must provide the clever distraction."

Henry agreed "And a distraction is what we'll give Zaiquiomon."

Takuma frowns "Too bad we can't exactly destroy him."

"The Sun Goddess seems to want to take Zaiquiomon alive" Renamon told Takuma "And the Sun Goddess will get what she wants."

"I know she wants to put him on trial for what he's done" Takuma admitted "But still if he's going to fight us with his best effort he's going to try to destroy us if we aren't enough."

"Perhaps we do need to think on making sure he doesn't do that" Takato said turning to Henry.

Henry frowns "I just hope we can beat him."

"Momentime Henry" Terrriermon told him "We can beat the Sovereign."

"Just remember what the objective is" Goldmon told Takuma "We are doing battle against Zaiquiomon but only long enough for the Sun Goddess to save Fluttershy and Calumon."

Takuma nods "Of course, how foolish of me to not think of defeating Zaiquiomon in this round."

"We'll need the Sun Goddess's help to take him down fully" Takato admitted "So right now we're going to face Zaiquiomon so the Sun Goddess can go into the back door and save both Fluttershy and Calumon."

The bubble stops and the Tamers exit out looking around.

"Okay, now where is that Zaiquiomon going to be at?" Takato asked.

As if on cue a door opened and Takuma turned "Probably where that door just opened."

The Tamers make a break down the door. As they make their way down the path, Goldmon, Guilmon, Renamon and Terriermon sense Zaiquiomon's presence and leep in front of their Tamers ready for a fight. At first all the group saw were raging flames. Then what appeared to be a phoenix like Digimon sitting on something. Takuma looked at the Digimon whom glares down at the intruders "HUMAN INTRUDERS!"

The Digimon were looking at Zaiquiomon and the Tamers received the data with Rika speaking out "There's no doubt about it guys...It's Zaiquiomon alright...Mega Level Sovereign Digimon."

Takuma looks at Zaiquiomon "You have two beings that are precious to us, and we're here to save them!"

"If you're talking about Fluttershy and Calumon" Zaiquiomon spoke "You won't get them back. Besides your Fluttershy, Takuma brought this on herself when she refused to give the Catalist to Makuramon."

"He didn't want to go!" Takuma told the Sovereign.

"Fluttershy does what she thinks is right, and she heard Calumon say he didn't want to go so that's why she didn't let him go when Makuramon requested her to" Goldmon told the Sovereign "It still doesn't give you the right to kidnap Fluttershy!"

Zaiquiomon glances down "How dare you address me that way! In the way of disrespect to a Sovereign! Where is your allegiance anyway?"

"I'm on the good side" Goldmon answered "And when I mean good side, I mean on the Sun Goddess's side and I can see why she's the ruler of all Digimon, I mean your one Sovereign intent on killing Fluttershy whom means no harm!"

"And that I will not allow!" Takuma said.

"You can't allow it?" Zaiquiomon questioned Takuma "Too bad you will allow it because you will be dead before you can get to her! I'll make sure of it!"

"So much for talking" Takato said "Come on guys let's take him down!"

Takato, Henry, and Rika grabbed their cards "Digi-Modify, Matrix Digivolution activate!"

The words Matrix Digivoluion appeared on Takato's, Henry's, and Rika's D-archs and the process began "Guilmon, Digivolve too...Growlmon. Growlmon, Digivolve too, WarGrowlmon!"

"Renamon Digivolve too...Kyubbimon. Kyubbimon Digivolve too...Taomon!"

"Terriermon, Digivolve too...Gargomon. Gargomon Digivolve too...Rapidmon!"

Rika turned to Takuma "You aren't going to Matrix Digivolve Goldmon?"

Takuma turned to Rika "No. Goldmon, I think it's time we really hit hard."

Goldmon grinned "Let's go for it!"

"Go for what?" Rika asked.

"Enough of this!" Zaiquiomon shouts "If you want to fight me to get to Fluttershy then so be it! Come to your deaths, I'll start with you Takuma Sparkle, Phoenix Fire!"

Zaiquiomon attacked Takuma times it right turning to Goldmon whom nods "Let's do this for Fluttershy."

Takuma smiled "Couldn't have said that any better Goldmon. Let's go for it...Biomerge Activate!"

Takuma's D-Arch read and announced "BIOMERGE DIGIVOLUTION!"

Goldmon then spoke "Goldmon, Biomerge too...MetalScorpionmon!"

In moments, Takuma and Goldmon became one and soon MetalScorpionmon arrived in their place and they even managed to dodge Zaiquiomon's attack. The Tamers all blink seeing MetalScorpionmon for the first time.

"Incredible!" Takato spoke "I thought I was the first to ever Biomerge."

"Nope" MetalScorpionmon told him "Takuma and I were, when were in the desert."

"Metalic armored Scorpion" Henry spoke "Impressive...The Gold and green color scheme seems to go well on you."

"Ah, you're making me embarrassed you two"

Rika smiled "I see you were ready for this."

"You bet I am."

Zaiquiomon chuckles "MetalScorpionmon...As powerful as you are...You're armor is pretty impressive but little do you know I have the key in defeating you."

"Spare me the drama!" MetalScorpionmon spoke "Come on guys let's get him!"

MetalScorpionmon fires up his jets allowing WarGrowlmon, Rapidmon, and Taomon to charge right with him.

Zaiquiomon sees them coming at him "Not so fast! Phoenix Fire!"

A powerful fire wave comes crashing down upon the four Digimon. MetalScorpionmon thought he could withstand the blast. Flying right into the blast to intercept it for his friends. Almost immediately he felt the fire attack on him "What the?"

He is then sent to the ground crashing onto it harmed.

"Oh man!" Rapidmon spoke "MetalScorpionmon!"

"Attack him now!" Takato ordered.

"Atomic Blaster!" WarGrowlmon shouts.

"Talisman of Light!" Taomon announced.

"Rapid Fire!" Rapidmon shouts.

The three Ultimate Level attacks roared and rushed over towards Zaiquiomon but a fiery barrier appeared around him seemingly to disintegrate the attacks without damaging him "Don't you see? I'm a Sovereign? It's pointless to attack me! Phoenix Fire!"

This time when Zaiquiomon attacked it would connect to all three Ultimate level Digimon taking them to the ground with Taomon in front of the Tamers.

"MetalScorpionmon" Takato said turning to MetalScorpionmon "are you okay?"

MetalScorpionmon gets up "That attack actually damaged me. I thought this armor protected me from all attacks."

Zaiquiomon laughs mocking MetalScorpionmon "Against most Digimon your armor would protect you. However it's quite simple. Your armor can't protect you from Fire and Electric based attacks."

"Nice to know that now" MetalScorpionmon said getting up and it was Zaiquiomon's turn to see that MetalScorpionmon wasn't completely harmed by the attack "WHAT? You should look more damaged."

MetalScorpionmon spoke "So I maybe unable to protect myself from Fire or Electric Based attacks like I can to most other attacks...However even when faced with an attack that can harm me, this Metal I'm in halves any damage I'd take."

"This proves nothing!" Zaiquiomon spoke aiming directly at Rika, Takato, and Henry "Time to roast your friends first Phoenix Fire!"

Taomon focuses pressing her hands together and formed a barrier to protect the Tamers. MetalScorpionmon now flies towards Zaiquiomon "That's quite enough attacking my friends like that!"

Zaiquiomon was forced to stop attacking the Tamers and even though Taomon's barrier held she was weakened "Go get him MetalScorpionmon!"
MetalScorpionmon used all his might and tackled Zaiquiomon's head. This caused the Sovereign to get his head bashed into the wall. The Sovereign glared angrily at MetalScorpionmon "You'd try this? You're in perfect range for this...Phoenix Fire!"

MetalScorpionmon thought fast and it was thanks to Takuma's strategist mind set that pulled off the miracle. He merely manages to use the Sovereign's head as a trampoline and jumps high into the air back flipping out of the attacks range and actually giving Zaiquiomon a kick to his head. The Sovereign roared feeling the kick and seeing his attack missed "Impossible!"

"That was amazing!" Rapidmon spoke "Come on guys we have to help MetalScorpionmon!"

Rapidmon aimed his hands "Rapid Fire!"

Just like before Zaiquiomon's barrier negated the attack "Ah come on now! Hey I know what can take that barrier down, MetalScorpionmon care to unleash an Acid Rocket attack?"

"Are you out of your mind Rapidmon?" Henry demanded even MetalScorpionmon was shocked that Rapidmon would suggest it and spoke to Rapidmon through Takuma's voice "Sure I have acid attacks but that's not the best choice of an attack to use...Especially against fire. Suppose he counters with Phoenix Fire...He blocks all thirty of my Acid Rockets and there will be acidic fiery rain. Or massive explosions. That wouldn't be the best attack to use in the situation!"

"Hey, it was a thought!" Rapidmon said to both Henry and MetalScorpionmon.

Rika had to admit in her mind that MetalScorpionmon was right, if he used a ranged acid attack and Zaiquiomon attacked with a fire attack, acid and fire didn't mix well...Especially when she knew MetalScorpionmon's acid was sulfuric acid.

Zaiquiomon took the time to actually nail both Rapidmon and MetalScorpionmon "Impressive that you know when to attack with Acid Rocket and when not to MetalScorpionmon...Phoenix Fire!"

Both Rapidmon and MetalScorpionmon took the attack head on and go crashing down injured. It is then Henry notices Rapidmon's back starting the vanish "Rapidmon!"

MetalScorpionmon gets up as Rapidmon spoke "Don't worry Henry, MetalScorpionmon and I can take this guy down!"

MetalScorpionmon scans the room, he had one other way of unleashing Acid Rocket and supposed it was time to use it. He turned to Rapidmon, WarGrowlmon and Taomon "I have a plan. I can use Acid Rocket but I'll need a distraction."

"What sort of distraction?" Rapidmon asked.

"Any you can think of" MetalScorpionmon said looking at the sky.

"What are you planning?" Takato asked him.

MetalScorpionmon turns to Takato "I have two ways in using Acid Rocket. I plan to use my second way but I need Zaiquiomon distracted in order to pull this off. One word of advise though...WarGrowlmon, Rapidmon and Taomon...Stay clear of the radiance once I unleash the second way of Acid Rocket."

The Tamers were confused but Taomon knew of the second way "That's way is even way more risky then the first way you'd usually use Acid Rocket...However we are out of options and your first way could potentially be even more dangerous than the second way."

"I agree that second way is risky" MetalScorpionmon admitted.

Taomon nods "But it's the best we can do at the moment. And I do see why you'll need a clear path to him."

"So we have a plan?" WarGrowlmon asked.

"We certainly do" MetalScorpionmon said.

"A risky one" Taomon admitted "But one which should work providing we each play our parts right."

Henry was beginning to be concerned about Rapidmon now seeing Rapidmon seemingly vanish in and out once more.

"I don't know what you four are planning" Zaiquiomon shouts at the Tamers and their Digimon "But it won't work! Phoenix Fire!"

Zaiquiomon unleashes his attack upon WarGrowlmon, Taomon, Rapidmon and MetalScorpionmon. WarGrowlmon flung himself to use his back as a shield. MetalScorpionmon manages to fly alongside Rapidmon. They finally had a game plan.

Sailor Sun, Marcus, and Thomas alongside their Digimon made it in through the backdoor of Zaiquiomon's castle. The Sun Goddess could hear the sounds of battle as the Tamers fought against Zaiquiomon. From the sounds of things Zaiquiomon seemed to be winning. Thomas had informed her of MetalScorpionmon and it was thanks to this she had an idea what MetalScorpionmon was going to do if he needed to. They had to get Fluttershy and Calumon now then leave as quick as they could. She doubles up her speed.

Marcus turns to her "Slow down Sailor Sun, what gives?"
Sailor Sun turned to him "We have to get Fluttershy quickly. Thomas correct me if I'm wrong but MetalScorpionmon has two ways of unleashing Acid Rocket right?"

The blond spoke in agreement with the Sun Goddess "You'd be correct, the first way would be him unleashing thirty meteorite sized acid blasts and shooting them out as if they were rockets at the foe and the second..."

He then gets where Sailor Sun was going "Is four to ten times stronger than the first way...Plus it's dangerous range...MIGHT JUST MAKE IT TO THE BACK DOOR"
Sailor Sun nods "Yes, so we must double the pace."

"I'm still clueless here" Marcus admitted.

"MetalScorpionmon's second version of how he uses Acid Rocket is literally him dive bombing the enemy" Thomas said "Tackling the enemy into the ground and unleashing acid upon him in an explosion. The explosion of acid is said to be like a volcano erupting and easily can destroy the area they are at...We aren't sure how much area it covers but..."

Marcus then got it "Great! Sense we don't know how much area the explosion covers, it could leave Fluttershy vulnerable."

Sailor Sun turned to Gatomon "Lead the way Gatomon!"

Gatomon nods "Right away!"

Gatomon takes them to the area where Fluttershy was being held. Marcus looked at the area "It's said Zaiquiomon has this place here...Hey where is Fluttershy?"

"She's above us" Gatomon said pointing upward.

Sailor Sun looked up the ceiling and blushes. There was a pathway she could crawl up and into the ceiling and it was only her size. With a skirt on she'd be flashing the boys. She turns to Marcus and Thomas "Could you boys look away for a moment while I crawl up there."

"No need to climb up there Sun Goddess" Gatomon said turning to a control panel "This control panel shall bring Fluttershy down."

Sailor Sun presses the button and the cage containing Fluttershy whom held Calumon close to her was lowered. At first, Fluttershy let out a frightened scream thinking she was being lowered to be executed. When her cage lowered she saw herself looking straight into Sailor Sun's concerned face "Relax Fluttershy."

Fluttershy sighs wanting to hug the Sun Goddess "Are you the Sun Goddess?"

"I am" Sailor Sun told her "Dragon Whispy, Majiramon ...You may come down too."

The unicorn pony and Dragon Deva appear at the Sun Goddess's words. Fluttershy smiles "Thanks for coming to rescue me Sun Goddess."

"You didn't deserve to be kidnapped in the first place" Sailor Sun told her trying to open Fluttershy's cage which seemed to lock tight "Gatomon...I thought you said you were unlocking it just in case he was going to execute her today."

"I did" Gatomon admitted.

"It seemed to reset itself" Dragon Whispy reported.

"Here Sailor Sun" Marcus said proudly "Let me try to break the lock."
He walks over to the door of the cage and punches the lock. There was a CRACK as the lock broke. Marcus then used his strength to pull the lock off the cage and open the cage. Fluttershy eagerly jumps out hugging Sailor Sun and crying glad to have been rescued. Sailor Sun pats Fluttershy's back "There, there, you're safe now. We'd best make it quick out of the castle though."

"Why?" Fluttershy asked.

Thomas answered "Oh the palace is might blow up when MetalScorpionmon unleashes his the second way Acid Rocket can be used. Best get you out of here."

Fluttershy nods holding Calumon. Dragon Whispy, the Dragon Deva follow Sailor Sun, Marcus, Thomas and their Digimon out of the backdoor. Sailor Sun then dials a single to Takato to let him know that Fluttershy had been rescued.

The Tamers were battling against Zaiquiomon. The Sovereign was proving to be extremely hard. Luckily they had came up with a plan. That plan involved MetalScorpionmon unleashing his Acid Rocket attack on Zaiquiomon. MetalScorpionmon had to have a good shot at it meaning Zaiquiomon needed to be distracted. There was another problem and Rapidmon would soon speak it to MetalScorpionmon "Could your attack penetrate through Zaiquiomon's fiery barrier?"

"You're right!" MetalScorpionmon shouted realizing it "His barrier makes it hard for attacks to get through..."

While this was going on Takato received the single from the Sun Goddess. He checks his D-arch nodding mentioning MetalScorpionmon to fly down towards them. MetalScorpionmon does and then asks "What is it?"

Takato whispers "The Sun Goddess just saved Fluttershy, they are making their way out of the back door."

"Great!" MetalScorpionmon shouts.

"It's only a matter of time before Zaiquiomon finds out about-"

"SUN GODDESS!" Zaiquiomon roared out as his sensors in the area where Fluttershy was held "You rescued Fluttershy just now? That's it!"

MetalScorpionmon flies at Zaiquiomon grabbing his wings "Sorry but you aren't confronting the Sun Goddess just yet!"

"Get off of me!" Zaiquiomon shouts "Phoenix Fire!"

MetalScorpionmon takes the attack and is forced back but comes back with Rapidmon coming at Zaiquiomon's head and lashes out a kick "We aren't giving up!"

Zaiquiomon ducks "So be it! Phoenix Fire!"

Rapidmon is struck by the attack and sent flying and goes straight back into Terriermon whom was seemingly disappearing more.

"Terriermon!" Henry shouts grabbing him "Stop disappearing!"

"I'm not trying to" Terriermon told him.

Henry looks up seeing MetalScorpionmon needed help in taking Zaiquiomon out. He grips his fist "Terriermon, we must help MetalScorpionmon out. For Fluttershy."

"You bet we do!" Terriermon said "I'd like to see her again as you live with her when visiting Equestria."

Henry nods feeling his bound with Terriermon strengthen. He looks up "He stands no chance against MetalScorpionmon and us together!"

"Got that right" Terriermon shouts.

Henry's D-ARch starts to glow and the words BIOMERGE Digivoltuion appears on it.

"Biomerge activate!" Henry announces.

"Terriermon, Biomerge too...MegaGargomon!"

In Terriermon and Henry's place the third Biomerged form appear. It was green, and it was towering. It was in fact MegaGargomon.

"MegaGargomon!" Rika shouts "Third Biomerge form."

MegaGargomon turned to MetalScorpionmon "Shall we defeat Zaiquiomon together?"

"Wouldn't have it any other way!" MetalScorpionmon shouts.

"Two Biomerge forms?" Zaiquiomon demanded "STILL CHANGES NOTHING! Phoenix Fire!"

MetalScorpionmon dodges the attack while MegaGargomon braces himself even punching through the attack. The punch connected to Zaiquiomon's head with MetalScorpionmon coming at his back "You left your back opened Acid Claw!"

MetalScorpionmon extended a wrist blade on his claws and Zaiquiomon heard the attack being called out and whirls about only to take a kick to his back by MegaGargomon. The two Biomerge forms face off against Zaiquiomon beating him down in close combat. This seemed to do damage to his barrier even eliminating it. MegaGargomon saw his chance "Let's see how you take this on Mega Barrage!"

He unleashes missiles at Zaiquiomon. Zaiquiomon watches this as the missiles were aimed at his perch.

The attack hit and MetalScorpionmon saw his chance flying high into the air. He gathers acid till it appeared to cover his entire body outlining with acid. He then spoke "MegaGargomon, out of the way! ACID ROCKET!"

MetalScorpionmon literally dives down with the acid forming a huge outline around him. Zaiquiomon doesn't have time to react. He looks upward seeing this and spoke "Oh-nuts!"

MetalScorpionmon flung himself onto the Sovereign tackling him onto the ground and unleashed the acidic blast. KABOOM! There was a massive explosion as MetalScorpionmon unleashed his acid. The Acid attack was truly like a volcanic eruption with acid flying everywhere making a huge explosion. MetalScorpionmon flew out unharmed. MegaGargomon looks down way deep "Geese MetalScorpionmon, did you have to destroy the whole castle?"
"This is why I don't plan on using this way of my Acid Rocket attack often" MetalScorpionmon admitted looking at the destruction.

"There's no way the Zaiquiomon could've survived that" Rika admitted looking at what remained of Zaiquiomon's castle. Literally nothing remained. The Tamers managed to get out of the castle and join up with Sailor Sun, Kazu, and Kento. Fluttershy looked for Takuma not realizing Takuma was MetalScorpionmon "Takuma? Takuma? Where are you?"

"I'm right in front of you Fluttershy" MetalScorpionmon said.

Fluttershy blinks seeing MetalScorpionmon "But you're MetalScorpionmon...A Digimon."

MetalScorpionmon smiled at her as he decides it was best to go back into Takuma, and Goldmon. Seeing her boyfriend alive and well Fluttershy couldn't help but run towards him and hugged him deeply crying happily "Takuma!"

Takuma held her close to him patting her back "That's right Fluttershy, I'm here."

MegaGargomon turned back into Henry and Terriermon. Marcus saluted the two "I see you two were also able to undergo the Biomerge status."

"We did" Henry admitted.

All eyes were on Fluttershy whom was happily in Takuma's arms. Fluttershy shivers scared but happy to being free at last as well as being in the arms of her boyfriend "Takuma, I was scared."

"I bet you were" Takuma told her "But don't worry, you're safe now."

Fluttershy closes her eyes as she hugs Takuma. Takuma holds her close comforting her. Sailor Sun smiled seeing this. The two made a good couple at their age.

"SHE ISN'T SAFE YET!" Zaiquiomon shouts.

The earth began to shake as Zaiquiomon reappears glaring angrily at the Tamers. He sees Sailor Sun "SUN GODDESS!"

Gatomon was standing right in front of the Sun Goddess. Marcus with his Agumon, Thomas with Gaomon and the Tamers were right next to Sailor Sun.

Sailor Sun eyes Zaiquiomon "Zaiquiomon! Give it up! You are beaten! We came to rescue Fluttershy!"

"SPARE ME YOUR LIES SUN GODDESS!" Zaiquiomon roared at her "You think you saved Fluttershy? Well I'll make sure she dies right now!"

"You're out of control!" Sailor Sun told him.

"STAY OUT OF THIS SUN GODDESS" Zaiquiomon ordered "These humans are responsible for deleting my Devas! They broke into my castle!"

"You are in no position to make demands!" Sailor Sun told Zaiquiomon "You are the one that caused all this in the first place! You attack Equestria without informing me almost on a daily bases. And what's worse you had the guts to lie to me saying you had no idea what was going on! Second you kidnap Fluttershy then want to execute her! Hear me out, it is you that are in big trouble!"

"You should've have gotten involved!" Zaiquiomon berated the Sun Goddess.

"Technically I have every right to get involved" Sailor Sun told him "You attacked a word without telling me a thing. You know that I wouldn't have allowed that to happen!"

"THIS PROVES YOUR TOO SOFT!" Zaiquiomon told her "I have my ways!"

"You step over your power Zaiquiomon" Sailor Sun told him "From this moment on, I'm placing you under arrest!"

Zaiquiomon eyes the Sun Goddess "You? Place me under arrest?"

"I do" Sailor Sun said to him serious "You'll pay for your crimes as will Trixie."

Zaiquiomon quivers with rage "Then so be it! I shall not go down that easily!"

Marcus bashes his fists "Oh you will regret this!"

Thomas agreed holding up his Digivice "This isn't a battle you can win."

Zaiquiomon watches the two DATS members the Tamers were right at the Sun Goddess's side. He then eyes them "Then come at me! I'll make sure that you Sun Goddess will see that I was right all this time!"

"All I can see is your treachery!" Sailor Sun told him holding up her Digivice "Gatomon...Are you ready?"

"I so am!" Gatomon said.

"As am I boss!" Agumon shouted.

"I'm ready too Sir" Gaomon told Thomas.

Takuma eyes Fluttershy "Fluttershy stay behind me, Takato, Henry, and Rika"

"Will do" Fluttershy told him.

Sailor Sun spoke first "D.N.A. Charge Overdrive!"

"Gatomon Warp Digivolve too...MangaDramon!"

MangaDramon soon arrives eying Zaiquiomon "You want a fight? Well prepare to go down hard!"

Thomas turned to Gaomon "Our turn."

"You said it sir!" Gaomon told him.

Thomas then spoke "D.N.A Charge, Overdrive!"

"Gaomon Double Warp Digivolve too...MirageGaogamon!"

MirageGaogamon flew at Zaiquiomon whom prepared to fight. MirageGaogamon swipes out at Zaiquiomon with a claw, Zaiquiomon flies out of the way but in the range of Marcus's fist. Marcus takes the opportunity to jump up "I've always wanted to do this! Giving you..." He punches Zaiquiomon in the face "A PUNCH TO THE FACE!"

Zaiquiomon falls to the ground glaring at Marcus "You'll pay for that Damon!"

"We'll see who pays for what he's done" Marcus told him "It is truly time you pay for your crimes, lying to the Sun Goddess behind her back, attacking a world that shouldn't be attacked, and kidnapping someone. D.N.A Charge. Overdrive!"

"Agumon, Double Warp Digivolve too ShineGreymon!"

Merukimon was at their side and Zaiquiomon sees this "So you too Merukimon..."

Merukimon glares at the Sovereign "Your treachery ends right here and right now! I'd suggest over the course of this that you stop this nonsense."

Zaiquiomon spoke "Blazing Helix!"

A new voice interrupted the fight "Not so fast! Aurora Force!"

Zaiquiomon's attack was intercepted by an intense burst of lightning."

"Where could've that came from?" Rika asked.

Majiramon answered "My new Sovereign boss."

Zaiquiomon heard this turning and all eyes were on a sky blue dragon with chains circling him. Sailor Sun smiled warmly "AzuLongmon!"

Zaiquiomon looks at AzuLongmon "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

AzuLongmon answered "What we Sovereigns should be doing! Protecting the Sun Goddess! Telling the Sun Goddess the truth. Being faithful to the Sun Goddess...Zaiquiomon I know you've had a strong hatred towards humans apparently more so when two are from Equestria."

Takuma and Fluttershy blush at this. AzuLongmon continued his explanation "But you've gone too far. That I can see. The Sun Goddess has every right to arrest you. In her eyes you are truly the traitor! I've merely came to help the Sun Goddess out. There is no need for you to be fighting the Sun Goddess."

"You choose to stay allied to the Sun Goddess?" Zaiquiomon demanded.

"We Sovereign are good Digimon Zaiquiomon" AzuLongmon told him "We follow the Sun Goddess rules. I suggest you surrender and stop this nonsense of fighting."

Zaiquiomon growls not going to immediately stop this. The Tamers watch ready to help take Zaiquiomon down if needed to.

Finally Fluttershy is rescued. In this chapter we actually see that MetalScorpionmon can be harmed by Fire and Electric based attacks. Next chapter is Chapter 44: Explanation While battling against Zaiquiomon, AzuLongmon tries to help Zaiquiomon explain his actions but Zaiquiomon isn't quite ready to accept humans are needed.
