Chapter 33: A Joureny Begins P1 A Moment with a Doctor

Disclaimer: I do not own My Little Pony Friendship is Magic or Digimon. I do own Takuma Sparkle and his Digimon Goldmon along with it's Digivolutions, my own Pony Ocs Harvest Leaf, Christmas Gift, and Pumpkin Spice from another fanfic Equestria will make appearances as well. And in this chapter a famous Brony Annalist/Reviewer's OC will make a special guest appearance

Evening came in Equestria and Takuma had returned to his home. Takuma was still in deep shock about what he had just witnessed. Goldmon was shocked as well but he was still trying to put two and two together. Sure he just like Guilmon, Terriormon, and Renamon had witnessed Fluttershy's abduction by a Deva. Ponyville would have to rebuild itself once again. Luckily the houses where the Tamers were staying at were still in one peace. Takuma entered his home with Rika still in disbelief of what she saw after Fluttershy's capture. Takuma lay in his bed thinking of Fluttershy and hoping she was safe. Twilight Sparkle noticed her adopted son's mood. As Takuma gets ready for bed, Twilight knocks on the door.

"Who is it?" Takuma asked.

"It's just me Takuma..." Twilight said in a concerned tone for him "May I come in?"

"Sure, Mother Twilight" Takuma answered knowing full well she'd probably come into his room even when he hadn't said yes

If there was one thing Takuma knew closely it was that the purple unicorn whom was his adopted mother when she knew her adopted son was in conflict, wouldn't leave him alone when he was in a depressed, and shocked state. Twilight uses her magic to open Takuma's door. Takuma was looking out the window up directly at the sky as if ignoring the purple unicorn. Twilight sees her son like this and spoke silently knowing that her son really was in pain, just seeing him like this broke her own heart "Takuma..."

Takuma turns over to her "Yes? Mother Twilight?"

Twilight walks over to her son and then she sits down right at his side sighing "Takuma, I just want to say thank you for what you and your Tamer friends did tonight defeating that Deva."

Takuma frowns "SURE WE DID, BUT THAT WAS ONLY ONE OF THEM. THE OTHER ONE USED THAT AS A DESTRACTION TO KIDNAP MY FLUTTERSHY!"

"And Calumon..." Goldmon reminded him but Takuma choose to ignore him for the first time in his life.

Twilight Sparkle took a deep breathe, now she could confirm, Takuma wasn't taking this too well. Then again she reasoned with herself that if somepony would kidnap someone very close to her like her own lover then she'd probably not take it too well ether. Plus Fluttershy wasn't just Takuma's girlfriend, but she was her friend as well. Without Fluttershy the Elements of Harmony wouldn't work. She knew all too well when Takuma was angry that Takuma could be very hard to reason with just like two of her friends, Rainbow Dash and Applejack. Still as Takuma's mother she had to try to calm him down "Takuma, take several deep breathes."

Takuma blinked and tried to do what she ordered him to do. After a while he understood why she ordered him to do it, it was to try for him to let go some of his anger. This might've worked completely but Fluttershy...Needed his help right away. Takuma tries once more as Twilight tries to comfort him "You aren't the only one that feels really hurt about this. I saw what that Deva did too, and even I'm angry at this. Takuma I know that you feel that Fluttershy needs you to rescue her and that is true, but you need to realize that going to try to rescue her angrily could only lead you into more trouble. I've seen it before in you Takuma, when you get angry...You tend to lose yourself and choose to ignore others including your friends in an attempt to make things right."

Takuma hugged his adoptive mother close as he nearly cries in her hooves "Mother Twilight...You're right but I just don't know what that Deva will do to her."

Twilight Sparkle allowed him to hug her like any good mother, she let him hug her for a long time before speaking "I know you are hurting most of all. It's okay to cry Takuma, don't hold it all in."

For a while adoptive mother and son sat with Takuma in her arms. Twilight looks out at the sky thinking one thing then she spoke "Takuma...I'm going to set you up with a doctor appointment tomorrow morning"

Takuma looks at her "What for? I'm healthy as I can be with the exception of what happened to to Fluttershy."

"It's not going to be a check up Takuma" Twilight told him "You are hurting emotionally and that calls for a psychiatrist for help, and I think we know who."

Takuma found himself smiling a bit "I think I know who you are talking about. There is only one doctor that I've heard about that can help. I'll go ahead and take it."

Twilight lets him hold her for a while until Takuma lets go of her "Alright then. Meet him at nine AM."

Takuma nods "I will."

Twilight walks off and out of Takuma's room. Once out of his room, Twilight shouted "Spike!"

Even with Takuma's door closed, Takuma heard Spike's words "What is it Twilight?"

Takuma heard only three of his mother's words before there was silence indicating the two were out very far "Take a letter."

Takuma gets into bed as he thinks to himself Fluttershy, please be safe...

Goldmon turns to his friend "Takuma...Everything will be better."

Takuma acknowledges him "You bet it will Goldmon once we've rescued Fluttershy and Calumon."

Once then Takuma tries to sleep but he wouldn't get much sleep. All through out the night, Takuma would be tempted by nightmares. Nightmares about Fluttershy being held captive by whoever commanded the Deva's. He even saw Trixie in his nightmares being ordered to torture Fluttershy. The nightmare was so scary and sad that by the time, he and the Tamers arrive to save Fluttershy,Trixie literally tortured her to death. Seeing this Takuma shoots up straight and in cold sweat "Fluttershy!"

Goldmon stirred looking over at Takuma "Takuma?"

Takuma breathes heavily as he checks the clock in his room, it was only 1 AM. He looks at Goldmon's concerned look as the Digimon asked "Are you okay?"

Takuma shrugged "Not sure...I just had a nightmare about Fluttershy...Dying..."

"Well it was only a nightmare" Goldmon told him.

"Yeah...But just like any other nightmare..." Takuma warned the Digimon "It felt so real."

Takuma tries to get more sleep after that but it wouldn't be his night. Finally it was morning and at 7 AM, Takuma was trying to have his breakfast, both Twilight and Spike saw that Takuma had a rough night.

"I'm guessing you didn't sleep well?" Spike asked Takuma.

Takuma glared at Spike "I've had nightmares the majority of the night. Horrible ones, and Luna didn't make an attempt to try to ease my mind."

Twilight nodded sympathetically, after all Princess Luna did have the power to go into anypony's dreams and when they needed it the most appear in the pony's dreams to ease her subjects. Twilight wondered why Princess Luna didn't show up at all to help Takuma in his own dreams.

Takuma turns to his mother "I best be off to the doctor's office."

Twilight nods "I'm going to join you. Spike, you're in charge for a while."

"You got it Twilight!" Spike said saluting her.

Mother and son with Goldmon at their side set out of the door and began to walk out into Ponyville. The two began to make their way to the doctors office and run into Rika and Renamon. Rika turns to Takuma "Rough night?"

Takuma tries to not show her more of his darkside after all it was best that Rika shouldn't see that side of him "Yes, I couldn't get any sleep at all."

"Where are you going?" Rika asked him.

"I'm going to the doctors" Takuma answered her.

"You don't look sick" Rika told him.

Twilight smiled "It's not a check up we're going to. It's a psychiatrist type of doctor. You know mental help. Takuma was hurting emotionally last night."

"He was" Rika admitted remembering the events of last night "Who wouldn't be hurting that way when your lover was kidnapped right in front of your eyes?"

"Yeah" Twilight admitted "But an angry Takuma...Isn't the same as your every day happy Takuma. He's had a habit of shrugging off his own friends and trying to solve whatever problem he had alone...Sometimes getting into danger and not thinking...Something that will be a problem for you when he's entered the Digital World to help rescue Fluttershy and Calumon. You all will need a healthy minded Takuma, the one that thinks things through, than one that charges in recklessly like my friend Rainbow Dash does."

"I HEARD THAT!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she flew down to join the five "But point taken. I do tend to charge into things without thinking things through."

The five would continue their way to the doctor's office and they were the first ones there. Right then a nurse pony checks them in and goes to tell the doctor that his patient had arrived. There was a bit of a wait about five minutes as it was 8:55 AM, but once it was 9:00 AM, the door opened and the nurse pony called out to him "Takuma? The Dr. will see you now."

Takuma nods as Goldmon tries to come along. The nurse sees the Digimon "Hold it! Only Takuma."

Twilight tries to get up and talk to her but a very gentle voice spoke "Nurse, let the Digimon follow Takuma., after all those two are partners, it wouldn't be right to see one and not the other."

The nurse looked towards the area where the voice was coming from "Alright doctor."

The nurse takes Takuma and Goldmon to a room. The two sit on a couch. Then they see the doctor. He wasn't a pony which Goldmon was expecting. In fact he was a white wolf standing on two legs like a human and wearing a doctors outfit. Takuma knew the wolf, the wolf smiled at Takuma "Well, how has it been Takuma?"

"Takuma...Who is this wolf?" Goldmon asked.

Takuma smiled at wolf as he knew who the wolf was, after all almost every pony in town knew the legendary Dr. Wolf whom helped every pony in need of his help. Now it was Takuma's turn to need the kind doctor's help. He answers both questions with a single sentence "I've honestly had better days and nights Dr. Wolf."

Dr. Wolf sits down on a chair "I can see that you didn't have a good night. Care to tell me what happened?"

"Well...For the short version" Takuma said blushing "Ponyville was being attacked by this giant pig Deva, me, and the other three Tamers attempted to defeat it and we eventually do, but just as we do another Deva appeared and kidnapped my Fluttershy."

Dr. Wolf blinks "That's quite an amazing adventure...And when you mean your Fluttershy...Does that mean?"

Takuma nods "Yes, doctor she and I are boyfriend and girlfriend now."

The good wolf doctor smiled "I've always told Fluttershy that she'd find someone that loves her. I congratulate you and her for being a couple."

"Thanks Dr." Takuma told him "But it is because of Fluttershy being kidnapped that I feel awful about it. Like I should've done more to save her from being kidnapped."

Dr. Wolf puts a paw underneath his chin as he writes this down on a clip board "Takuma, from what you told me about that incident, there wasn't anything you could've done differently. Sure you could've asked Fluttershy to stand at your side, but you couldn't have predicted that second Deva from appearing when you didn't know that it was a Deva. Somethings you just can't prepare for. Sure it is a good idea to expect the unexpected but somethings you just can't expect."

"I suppose you are right on that one doctor" Takuma told him "But now I have to go into the Digital World to rescue the one I love."

"You keep on leaving out Calumon" Goldmon told him.

Takuma sighed "Sorry Goldmon, I just have Fluttershy on the brain right now."

"That is understandable" Dr. Wolf acknowledged as Goldmon showed the Wolf who Calumon looked like "Takuma you must be proud of Fluttershy at least from holding onto Calumon. You and I both know she wouldn't let any animal go to someplace without their consent."

"That's true, Fluttershy wasn't letting him go. Perhaps if she had though she wouldn't have gotten herself kidnapped and I wouldn't feel like I let her down."

"There are many scenarios that might've prevented that" Dr. Wolf told him "But you have to look at the big picture here, what is done is done. You can't relate to the past as much. All you can do is look ahead and plan on rescuing her."

"Which is what I would be doing with Takato, and Henry" Takuma admitted "But Mother Twilight wanted me to see you to get emotional help."

Dr. Wolf smiled "And she's right. I've been here all my life Takuma and you aren't exactly yourself when you are angry. You do need a level head as you don't have to do this deed alone like your father did. Friends will always be with you no matter what, however they won't follow one that has given into anger and only thinks for themselves."

Takuma sat quietly as Dr. Wolf continues "A calm and collective mind is the key in rescuing someone and getting out alive. Now I know you value your life over Fluttershy's but think on her part. She wouldn't want you to die on her behalf."

"This is quite helpful" Goldmon admitted "Dr. Wolf you are very good at this."

The wolf smiled as Takuma sat letting the doctor's words flow into his mind "Thank you Goldmon"

Takuma turns to the doctor "Doctor. There is one more thing that is bothering me and it does concern Fluttershy's capture."

Dr. Wolf sits patiently and waits for Takuma to explain himself "Go ahead you can tell me anything."

Takuma sighed "Well last night I had plenty of nightmares about Fluttershy being in the hands of the enemy. All terrible, they torture her to death and yet Princess Luna didn't seem to come into my slumber to calm my nerves."

Goldmon pauses "Wait...The Devas kill her?"

Takuma eyes the Digimon " No, whoever the Devas are following orders from orders Trixie to do the deed."

Dr. Wolf was silent at first but then spoke "Those are terrible nightmares indeed Takuma. Trixie is the one that does the deed...I doubt that she'd be the one to do it though."

"Why not?" Takuma asked the doctor "She does work for them."

"True" Dr Wolf said "But I doubt she works in the Digital World with them and, Fluttershy was taken into the Digital World."

Takuma nods "Right, but the nightmare felt...Well so real."

"All nightmares do" Dr. Wolf reminded Takuma "And to the one that has those nightmares it makes you think that get every reason to think that you need to rush into the Digital World without thinking. However you still need to think things through. This Digital World maybe much more violent than Equestria could ever be which requires you to have be ready for anything. Anything in an alien world needs to be approached with cation. I mean let's back up a moment."

"Alright" Takuma agreed "To where?"

"Let's me ask you this...You know who your true father is?" Dr. Wolf asked.

"I do" Takuma admitted "It's Yamaki..."

"And do you know anything about him?" Dr. Wolf asked.

"Only that he hates Digimon for what one did to me when I was one year old" Takuma admitted "Come to think of it, he made me mad last night too...He tried to kill not only the Deva but our Digimon as well with the Juggernaut program..."

Dr. Wolf nods "Correct, he did all that as well. And it is leading to my point. Takuma anger is part of everypony's lives at one point. What you do when you are angry is clearly up to the individual. Your father is too angry at Digimon from what they did to you that he's willing to destroy all of them even those that are fighting alongside you as friends. Now you're probably thinking how what has that have to do with me?"

Takuma looks at the doctor "Took the words out of my mouth doc."

Dr. Wolf continued his lecture "The answer is quite simple Takuma, if you continue down getting angry and continue to shove your friends out of the way, you could become just as bad a your father."

"Takuma...Just as bad as Yamaki?" Goldmon asked "I personally don't see it."

"That's because Takuma's anger is at the anger stage, it can evolve and when it does it will evolve into hatred which is where Yamaki is at now. When one gets into the hatred stage it make them want to do anything to get revenge on those that did it without thinking things through. It's like they are right and everyone else is wrong."

Takuma lets this sink into his head Dr. Wolf did make a good point. Goldmon turns to Takuma "But Takuma isn't like Yamaki at all, he lives with his adopted mother Twilight."

"Which is actually a good thing" Dr. Wolf admitted "If Takuma was with his father, I'm sure Takuma wouldn't see eye to eye with him after the events of last night...However, also last night he might've been thinking on how his father was right all along."

"No way!" Goldmon protested "Takuma would never think that way."

"He's right though" Takuma admitted.

Goldmon turns to Takuma "What do you mean?"

Takuma answered "It's just like Dr. Wolf said, I was thinking that thing, it was one of the things I was thinking about after Fluttershy was kidnapped...All of a sudden I could see my father's point of view and started to think he was right all along."

Goldmon "Wow...Goes to see where I can see from you."

"Everypony has a dark side to them" Dr. Wolf told the two "Just as everypony has a light side."

"You aren't thinking about that now are you?" Goldmon asked Takuma.

Takuma shrugged "Honestly...I might be but if I am it's very, very, very low at this point."

"That is because you have thought this through a bit" Dr. Wolf admitted "What is on your mind right now is the absolute need to save Fluttershy along with Calumon, and that is one of the right steps to the right direction. But you aren't going to be doing that alone. Takuma...Remember this, you aren't alone like your father probably was at the time you were kidnapped. You have the power to turn things around. And it is you to understand that you control your anger in many ways. Just don't let it control you into hatred."

Takuma smiled "You're right Dr. Wolf. I still don't like Yamaki tried doing to our Digimon, but that is a direction I could be going into. I don't want that direction. I'd never want to go that far...At least not at this point."

"If it will be any help to you Takuma" Dr. Wolf told him "My office will always be available for you and Goldmon to visit and I could be walking around Ponyville to chat with you two."

"Thanks Doctor Wolf" Takuma said to the wolf "I have a feeling I'll be needing the support."

"You're quite welcome Takuma" Dr. Wolf told him then the wolf asks "Feeling any better?"

Takuma took his time to think on his answer "I'm not completely better, but now that I've gotten this off my chest, I actually do feel better."

Dr. Wolf smiled happy to have been helpful to Twilight's adoptive son.

Takuma gets up ready to leave then pauses "I just wish I knew how to get into the Digital World..."

"We could try to let Yamaki open the sky again" Goldmon answered.

"That would only destroy four Digimon" Dr. Wolf admitted thinking on what he could do to help them.

Just as Takuma was about to open the door, Dr. Wolf snaps his fingers "I may know of somepony you can turn to for a bit of help."

Takuma turns to the wolf "Who?"

Dr. Wolf smiled "Well, two of them could be the two Princesses. Surely they alongside you and your mother could find a bit of access to the Digital World."

"That actually is an option" Takuma admitted."Another option you could go to is forward Operating Base."

"Whose in there?" Goldmon asked.

Dr. Wolf answers "Another client of mine, Commander Firebrand. Knowing that he's in command of the Forward Operating Base, he might have something that'll allow you to go into the Digital World. After all isn't the Digital World you know Digital?"

"That is an option as well" Takuma said "Or we can do both options."

"Both?" Dr. Wolf and Goldmon asked.

Takuma gets up "I think I have a plan"

Dr. Wolf smiled "That's the Takuma we know. Always having some sort of a plan."

Takuma nods then pails "The only problem is I don't know where the FOB is located."

Dr. Wolf smiled more "Luckily I do know where it is. If you'd like I'd take you to it."

"You aren't busy with clients?" Goldmon asked.

Dr. Wolf answered "I have a slow day today. I don't have any other clients until one PM. Besides I'll need to monitor Takuma anger for the day."

"Thank you Dr. Wolf" Takuma told the wolf "You're welcomed to stay with me."

The three walk out of the room and back to the waiting room, where not only Rika, and Twilight Sparkle sat waiting for Takuma to arrive back, but Henry, Takato and Jeri were waiting for him as well. Once the door opened, Twilight, and Rika turned to see who would be walking out. There they saw Takuma, Goldmon and a whit wolf.

"Whose the white wolf?" Takato asked.

"This is the legendary Dr. Wolf" Takuma answered him.

Twilight walks over to Dr. Wolf "How is he doc?"
Dr. Wolf smiled at Twilight "I've managed to take a bit of his anger away. It's not completely gone but we were able to get a lot off Takuma's chest. But as agreed to this, I'll have to monitor him for the day at least now."

"Thanks Dr." Twilight told him "I better start paying you."

Dr. Wolf smiled patting Twilight's hoof "Don't worry about it at the moment Twilight. I was happy to help him."

"How was he as a doctor?" Terriermon asked Goldmon.

Goldmon answered in a whisper "Dr. Wolf was great!"

The scorpion Digimon then spoke louder "And Dr. Wolf has given Takuma an idea on how to get into the Digital World.

"Really?" Takato, Henry, Rika, and Jeri asked "How?"

"Calm down" Takuma told them he turns to his adoptive mother "Mother Twilight, we need to get Spike, part of the plan involves both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna to be present at FOB."

"FOB?" Takato, Henry, Rika, Jeri, Renamon, Terriermon, and Leomon asked.

"Short for Forward Operating Base" Twilight Sparkle answered and then she could see her son's plan and that it was one that Dr. Wolf suggested.

She turns to Dr. Wolf "Takuma and I wouldn't have thought about it that way. FOB might have something to help us get into the Digital World."

Dr. Wolf nods "Exactly what I included. I'll occupy the Tamers and their Digimon to FOB as I know where it's at."

Twilight Sparkle smiled "Right, and I'll go get Spike to inform the Princesses to meet us there."

The five Tamers, with their Digimon with Dr. Wolf leading them began to make their way towards FOB.

Meanwhile in the Digital World, a human girl with brown hair wearing white sailor scout shirt, a pink bowtie, and a yellow skirt was standing in yellow boots. On her head was a Tiara with Sun symbol in the middle. In her hands was a huge staff with the Sun attached at the top. This was Kari Kamayia in Sailor Senshi form, Sailor Sun. Her eyes were strained on a screen at a Datamon's security footage about the latest threat to the Digital World a red blob like substance. Ever sense she had accepted being the Sun Goddess, protector of the Digital World she still kept her calm deminor but when it came to protect all those that lived in the Digital World, she was very serious. As she was viewing the footage carefully, the door to her chamber opened up and white cat Digimon with yellow gloves on her paws and a black unicorn pony with white freckles on her face, silver mane and tail appeared Her the Unicorn pony's flank was a cutie mark which was a pink heart being surrounded by a green serpent like dragon.

"I came as soon as Gatomon asked me to my Sun Goddess" The pony spoke as she and Gatomon bow to Sailor Sun.

Sailor Sun turned to her Digimon Gatomon and the pony "I have a feeling Zaquiomon has been lying to me about something the entire time. While I try to figure whatever this thing is...Please find out what it is for me, then report to me, but be careful about it."

"As you command Sun Goddess" the white cat Digimon admitted. "Dragon Whispy and I will not fail you."

The unicorn Pony agreed "She's right, we'll get to the bottom of this."

The two run off to do what the girl asked. The girl watches more of the security footage of her world frowning at the destruction the red blob was causing. She had to take action against it and soon and yet none of her Soverigns were giving her any answers about this thing. What was it exactly? Plus she was beginning to notice the Devas disappearing mysteriously on a day-by-day bases. Sailor Sun was now determined to find out what was going on and she was trusting her best subjects Gatomon and Dragon Whispy to find out what was going on. She made a vow to herself that No one, would hold information away from her and she suspected the main suspect was Zaquiomon.

"What are you up to this time Zaquiomon?" Sailor Sun asked herself crossing her arms.

I know this one is shorter than my 5,000 word that I usually put in but, I decided to make this a two part chapter. I know in the original episode of the Journey begins doesn't have this first part on but I wanted to basically reflect on Takuma's darker self. Plus as you have read the special guest star appearing in this chapter was no other than the famous Broney Reviwer/Anaylist, Dr. Wolf himself. If you are reading this Dr. Wolf, thank you for allowing me to use your character for this chapter and the other chapters. Now as hinted in this chapter as well, Commander Firebrand may make his appearance in the next chapter. Plus the Sun Goddess is finally revealed. Can Gatomon and Dragon Whispy find Zaquiomon's secret captive? Also Dragon Whispy is an oc from xXVen-nificentXx also known as Kingdom Infinity

Next chapter. Chapter 44: A Journey begins PII: Dr. Wolf leads the Tamers to FOB where Takuma places his plan into action into entering the Digital World but it appears Trixie has one more trick to pull off in order to stop the Tamers from entering the Digital World.
