Chapter 34: Journey Begins PII: Meeting Firebrand

Disclaimer: I do not own My Little Pony Friendship is Magic or Digimon. I do own Takuma Sparkle and his Digimon Goldmon along with it's Digivolutions, my own Pony Ocs Harvest Leaf, Christmas Gift, and Pumpkin Spice from another fanfic Equestria will make appearances as well. And in this chapter two famous Brony Annalist/Reviewer's OC will make a special guest appearances.

Dr. Wolf was leading the four Digimon Tamers to FOB. The good Dr was eager to help the Tamers in anyway he could to save Fluttershy and Calumon as well as make sure Takuma was having a complete level head. Right now the Tamers and their Digimon were following the white wolf. Takuma had heard of FOB before but never in his life considered visiting it. If there was any place that may have a way into going into the Digital World FOB would be the place in Equestria where it was possible. Surely a secret military base like that would have the technology to get into another world.

Along the way Jeri, her Digimon Leomon, Kento and Kazu eventually followed the group.

"Dr. Wolf" Jeri said in a concerned voice.

"Yes, Miss. Jeri?" Dr. Wolf asked the kind hearted girl.

Jeri found herself blushing at the kind Dr's words " Is there anypony that will help us at FOB?"

"Of course there is" Dr. Wolf said "His name is Commander Firebrand. He maybe one of the greatest allies Equestria has, but he himself has some problems. But there is no other pony to turn to for help than him."

Jeri smiled hoping to see this Firebrand.

"But what sort of problems does he have?" Kento asked.

Dr. Wolf turned to Kento "That's highly confidential. I can't tell any pony. Those issues are between Dr. and patient. You wouldn't want me to discuss private things to your own friends would you?"

"Not really" Kento admitted.

Henry was growing a friendlier to Dr. Wolf as the group spent this time together. He had to admit that Dr. Wolf was very friendly, smart and intelligent one who was worthy of being a doctor. The group continued to follow Dr. Wolf unaware Trixie was watching from afar.

The Great and Powerful Trixie should've been happy out of the outcome as the humans were going to the Digital World and this meant she could get her revenge on Twilight Sparkle herself and Takuma wouldn't be able to interfere but she felt as if something was missing like revenge on both Twilight and her son. She finally snapped "That's it! The GREAT AND POWERFUL Trixie will make sure the Tamers NEVER get to the Digital World! Today is the day, they will be fully defeated!"

Meanwhile in the Digital World, Dragon Whispy and Gatomon were quickly making pace to Zaquiomon's palace. Both unicorn and cat Digimon actually got along with each other. Both also had outstanding loyalty to the Sun Goddess up to the point where they'd gladly give their lives for her. Although mainly it was usually Gatomon putting her own life on the line to protect the Sun Goddess. The biggest problem for the two was that Zaquiomon's place was very far away from the Sun Goddess's palace.

"Would it be faster if the Sun Goddess had asked you to Armor Digivolve into Nerfertimon?" Dragon Whispy asked Gatomon.

"Normally yes, but by the tone of her voice, I knew better not to ask her that time" Gatomon acknowledged.

"Point taken" Dragon Whispy admitted "So how long do you suppose we can get there on foot?"

"Perhaps at night" Gatomon admitted "Sense even I need to eat."

Dragon Whispy chuckled a bit "I suppose so, we did leave before we could take anything to eat on our journey. I just wonder what Zaquiomon's really been up too."

"We'll get our answer when we get there" Gatomon admitted as she and the unicorn ran downward.

Dragon Whispy nods "Of course we will. I just hope we don't discover something the Sun Goddess won't like."

"If it was any other Soverign like AzuLongmon which she trusts without a doubt then she wouldn't be sending us. But this is Zaquiomon we are talking about. He does have a bad habit of keeping things away from her. We're bound to find out something even our Sun Goddess won't like."

"Point taken" Dragon Whispy admitted sadly.

She closes her eyes and focused on her first ever visit to the Digital World and how she ever became one of the Sun Goddess's most trusted allies.

Flashback

A filly Dragon Whispy was wandering around Ponyville. She had always lived in Canterlot and even then idolized Princess Celestia just like Twilight Sparkle. She even went to the same school system as Twilight had when she was a filly. Dragon Whispy always had a special connections to dragons. She felt as if she understood them. Then one evening during a study session with a filly Twilight Sparkle and a filly Moon Dancer, it happened. There was a flash of light that interrupted the group. Both Twilight and Moon Dancer went to get the teacher but Dragon Whispy was drawn towards the light. The filly ran towards in unaware it was a Digimon field. She entered the field to find herself facing a dangerous Dark Tyrannomon. The filly backed away as it tried to attack her but it just so happened to be Majiramon the Dragon Deva that seen this and interfered. Dragon Whispy watches the the Deva puts himself in between the two and the Sun Goddess along with Gatomon had arrived to help him out. The Sun Goddess, Gatomon and Majiramon managed to defeat the Dark Tyrannomon. Before the three could help Dragon Whispy get back to Equestria an explosion happened canceling out the light and trapping Dragon Whispy inside the Digital World. Ever sense being saved by the Sun Goddess whom allowed Dragon Whispy to stay in the Digital World, the unicorn dedicated herself to the Sun Goddess's cause nearly forgetting about Princess Celestia whom in her opinion was perhaps much weaker than the Sun Goddess.

"Hey, Gatomon to Dragon Whispy...Are you there?" Gatomon asked her.

Dragon Whispy turned "Yes, I am Gatomon. What is it?"

"I noticed you were dozing off there, are you okay?" Gatomon asked.

"I am Gatomon" Dragon Whispy said with a smile on her face "Just recalling the day I first arrived here..." the unicorn pauses blushing as she had became a fan of the Dragon Deva sense that day was the only day she seen him "Do you think Majiramon is here?"

"I seem to recall he is under Zaqiomon's command" Gatomon admitted and understood that the unicorn missed him "But who knows. He might be, he might not be."

The two continued down their path to Zaquiomon's palace.

In Equestria, Dr. Wolf, the Tamers and their Digimon had finally arrived at FOB. The Tamers looked around shocked that it really was a military base. Dr. Wolf lets the Tamers and their Digimon look around. Twilight Sparkle arrived shortly after with Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie to wish the Tamers good luck. Dr. Wolf explained to the guards protecting FOB that this was an urgent matter and that the hole group was looking to meet with Commander Firebrand. The soldiers guarding the base allowed the group to enter. Dr. Wolf walks over to a door which would lead to Commander Firebrand's room. Dr. Wolf knocks on the door. At first there was no answer but then there was a voice coming from behind the door "Yes, who is it?"

"It's me, Dr. Wolf" Dr. Wolf said he was about to continue when the voice behind the door spoke again "DON'T TELL ME I'M LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT WITH YOU!"

"You aren't" Dr. Wold replied "Firebrand...I'm sure you are aware with all the foreign monsters attacking Equestria aren't you?"

The door opened slightly as golden eyes appeared to look outward "Why, yes, I am aware. And wondering why that every time there is an attack before I can get into the action that the monsters disappear."

"Well you can stop wondering" Takuma spoke for Dr. Wolf "Because my friends and I have been able to stop them...And we need your help."

The gold eyes focused on Takuma "Hmm. I've never seen you before, but you must be Takuma Sparkle, Twilight's adopted human son."

"I am Commander Firebrand sir!" Takuma told him saluting.

The golden eyes immediately took a liking to Takuma already, not in like-like but as in a good friend and one willing to go any distance to protect his friends and adopted homeworld. The golden eyes finally walk out to reveal himself. It turned out that Commander Firebrand was a red Unicorn pony with gold eyes, gold mane and gold tail. He wore a black jacket over his chest. The unicorn stretched out his hoof to Takuma "Pleased to finally meet you face to face at last Takuma Sparkle. I'm Commander Firebrand."

Takuma smiled back holding out his hand and shook Firebrand's hoof "Nice to finally meet you too Commander Firebrand sir!"

Firebrand now looked over towards Takuma's friends "My...This is a whole lot of guests we've ever had."

Commander Firebrand now gets serious as even he could tell Takuma was hurting emotionally "So...What happened that everyone including your mother and her friends are here visiting?"

Takuma didn't want to answer, but he knew he had to answer Firebrand or Firebrand might not be able to help the Tamers at all. Luckily Dr. Wolf explained the whole situation. Firebrand's eyes widened at the story, and at times Firebrand's jaw literally dropped. Finally Dr. Wolf concludes with the story so far "So, Firebrand...In the Tamer's latest battle, they manage to defeat one Deva, but another manages to kidnap Takuma's girlfriend Fluttershy and Calumon. The Tamers need a way to get into the Digital World. So after Takuma's appointment he had with me earlier, we've decided to see if you may have any idea how they can get into the Digital World."

Firebrand was still thinking on what had happened as he turned to the Tamers and their Digimon "You all have had some big and awesome adventure!"

He now turns to Takuma "I'm sorry to hear that the love of your life has been taken away from you. If I was in your shoes I'd be very angry too."

"Can you help us get into the Digital World Commander Firebrand sir?" Rika repeated Dr. Wolf's question.

Commander Firebrand nods "I'll do everything in my power to help you all. You all give your lives up for this world almost on a regular day. I'd be honored to help you all...First thing is first though, that we need to find a way into the Digital World. Not just any way, a safe way."

Firebrand then watches as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna finally appeared in FOB and he stopped, stared and bowed to the Princesses "Welcome to FOB Princesses."

Firebrand turns to the Tamers "Well everypony, let's go see what we have here."

The Tamers, their Digimon, Twilight, her friends, the Two Princesses follow Firebrand to see if there was anything FOB could offer. FOB had some interesting items. Kazu turned to Takuma "Takuma...Does this army pony know-"

He was greeted by daggers of hatred by Firebrand whom picked him up with his magic and makes eye contact with him "Fair warning Kazu and Kento...I'm not an army pony. I'm a Marine! There's a difference."

"Y-Y-Y-Yes sir!" Kazu spoke "I won't make that mistake again."

"See that you and Kento don't" Firebrand told Kazu "Otherwise I might accidentally roast you with my fire magic."

Rika sees this and just giggled at Kazu and Kento's dismay.

Kento whispers to Dr. Wolf a bit fearfully "Is Firebrand always like this?"

"Only when one mistaken which branch of the military he is in" Dr. Wolf answered.

Firebrand brings the Tamers to a big room where lots of military equipment was "We have been developing a brand new generator which should have the power to send you to this Digital World"

"Looks impressive" Rika admitted.

"What are the burn marks around the generator from?" Kento asked.

Firebrand answers in an embarrassed tone "That might've been from me. I tried to use all the magic I have to do a practice round and sense my magic is fire...It almost backfired on me."

"So, it's magic that powers up this generator?" Twilight asked.

"In therory...Yes" Firebrand answered the purple unicorn "But my magic isn't enough plus it needs a long time to charge up."

"How long Commander?" Takuma asked in a demanding tone.

"Easy there Takuma" Dr. Wolf told him "Don't get your head in an uproar. Good things come to those who wait."

Takuma pauses letting this sink in "I suppose. But I can't stop thinking about Fluttershy."

"Love is like that I suppose" Firebrand admitted "But to answer your question Takuma, perhaps an hour or three. This generator takes up a lot of magic but it's also an experimental one for getting into the Digital World, giving this meaning. It maybe able to get you all there but it may also not, and even so if it does let you arrive in the Digital World it may not be able to fired up again to get you out of it."

"It's a risk we have to take!" Takato said.

"Agreed" Firebrand admitted.

Takuma sighed "So one or three hours of charging."

"How does it work?" Twilight asked.

Dr. Wolf was looking around the generator system and sees that there were some places where horns could go to unload magic "Well Firebrand no wonder you didn't have enough magic...This Generator calls for at least four unicorns not one."

Commander Firebrand blinked "Strange, I was informed that it needed only one."

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna turned to Twilight Sparkle and Firebrand with Celestia speaking "Well you have four. Two unicorns and two alicorns."

"That should work as well" Dr. Wolf admitted.

Firebrand then spoke "And it needs to be charged up completely with our magic for one to three hours in order to fully operate. And it can't be in thirty minutes each. It needs to be consistent."

"This is a military base" Kazu said "One to three hours should be up in no time."

"Besides" Kento said "What's the worse that can happen?"

Takuma and Firebrand facepalm or face hoofed with Dr. Wolf shaking his head his wolf like ears dropped as if knowing those words would curse the place with something bad "Oh Kento...You may have just doomed this operation."

Rika smacked Takato on the back of the head causing him to fall face first into the ground "Rika...Why?"

Rika answered angrily "Those two are your friends. And they may have just doomed us with those words...

Even Henry was still shaking his head..

Goldmon now spoke "So...Are we going to go through with the idea or are we going to be worrying if something bad happens?"

"Goldmon is right" Renamon said "If we are going to the Digital World, we need to get there."

Terriermon paused "Well, I don't know you two...Those words are real curse words. It's like asking something to happen."

"Like what could go wrong?" Guilmon asked.

"STOP SAYING THAT!" Firebrand shouted in alarm.

Firebrand calms down a bit "But the Digimon are right. Now Tamers please know that even if this works you might have to find another way back to Equestria. Are you sure you want to...No that's not the right word...Are you sure you are ready to go to the Digital World now?"

Takuma wanted to answer but Takato's leadership side shown "Of course! The biggest risk we have is that the generator may not be able to bring us back. It's a risk we have to take. Commander Firebrand Sir, start up the generator."

Commander Firebrand nods "Of course. Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and Twilight Sparkle, find your areas and I'll find mine."

The two unicorns and two Alicorns walked over to the areas where they could place their horns into. The areas were all around the generator two on the far left and two on the far right of it. Princess Celestia was one of the two on the far left which Firebrand was on the other end of the left. Princess Luna and Princess Twilight were at the right ends.

"Now what?" Twilight asked Firebrand.

Firebrand answered "We insert our horns into the lock and all together we have to start filling the generator with a steady dose of magic."

"Got it!" Twilight said.

"Everypony...I'll begin the count" Firebrand said "And when I count to three. We put our horns in and start filling up the machine. We then must continue for three hours without taking any breaks otherwise the process is repeated."

"Got it!" was the reply from the other three ponies.

"One!" Commander Firebrand shouted.

The four get ready to shove their horns in.

"Two!" Commander Firebrand shouted.

The four start powering up their magic.

"THREE!" Commander Firebrand shouted and the four all at once lunge forward putting their horns into the machine. Immediately the generator's horn lock devices gripped their horns locking them into the machine further and the machine started to take their magic. Dr. Wolf and Henry were at the computer screen that showed the two Alicorn and two Unicorn's magic flowing into the generator.

"So far it's working!" Henry said for Dr. Wolf.

"Great!" was the response from the Tamers and the rest of the ponies.

At first everything was working fine especially during the first hour. It also looked like Kento's and Guilmon's what could go wrong comment for once wasn't going to come back and bite them in the butt.

"See?" Kento asked "And you all thought I cursed this operation. What can go wrong now?"

Dr. Wolf eyes Kento "Must you say those words?"

Suddenly an explosion sounded and erupted.

"What was that sound?" Twilight asked as all the Tamers and ponies glared at Kento.

Kento sweat dropped "Uh, I'm pretty sure it was just a military exercise, right Firebrand?"

"Normally it would've been" Firebrand admitted "But there wasn't a military exercise scheduled today!"

A solider ran in "Commander Firebrand sir! It's Trixie!"

"What does she want now?" Twilight asked aggravated of the blue unicorn's tricks.

Trixie laughs as she appears with four Digimon "What else? To end the Tamer's once and for all before they can go to the Digital World!"

"If my horn wasn't stuck in this machine" Firebrand warned Trixie "I'd fry you!"

"Focus everypony!" Twilight told them "We need to keep this going!"

"Henry, Rika, Takuma and I will hold them off Commander Firebrand" Takato told Firebrand "Just focus on the task at hand. Jeri, you and Leomon need to guard the four ponies."

"Got it Takato!" Jeri said rushing down towards Firebrand, Twilight Sparkle and the four Princesses with Leomon at her side.

Takuma turned to Goldmon as the two faced one of the four Digimon "I knew those words would bite us in the flank. It was only a matter of time."

"Agreed" Goldmon admitted.

Takato faced another Digimon with Guilmon at his side "We'll stop them right boy?"

"You bet we will Takatomon!" Guilmon announced.

"We got the one next the the computer and Doctor Wolf" Henry said positioning himself in front of Dr. Wolf to shield him

Terriermon leaps in between Henry "You said it Henry!"

Rika was at the furthest end ready to take on her Digimon opponent "Trixie...You really don't let us catch a break!"

Renamon positioned herself in front of Rika ready for battle.

"Why should the great and Powerful Trixie do that?" Trixie demanded "I have an obligation to my boss! I can't let you continue!"

Takuma checks his D-Arch for information on his Digimon which was a Knightmon "Knightmon...Ultimate Level Warrior Digimon."

"They are all Knightmon" Rika admitted checking her D-arch.

"They sure are" Henry replied.

Takato frowned "Oh boy. Four ultimate Levels of the same Digimon."

"Let's see you Tamers take on four dangerous Knightmon! They aren't as powerful as the Devas are but these Knightmon loyally serve the Great and Power Trixie's master!" Trixie announces.

"A master that'll get what's coming to him when I'm through with him" Takuma warned Trixie "Ready Goldmon?"

"I'm ready when you are!" Goldmon shouts.

"Let's get the big bad Knightmon, Takatomon!" Guilmon told Takato.

Takato nods "Right away!"

"Ready Terriermon?" Henry asked.

"Always!" Terriermon said.

"Ready to walk all over that Knightmon?" Rika asked Renamon.

Renamon walks towards the Knight "You bet! And I'll make sure to do more than just walk all over him."

The four Tamers reach for their cards. They all took the same card and spoke "Digi-Modify! Digivolution Activate!"

The words Digivolution appeared on their D-archs and the process began.

"Goldmon, Digivolve too...Scorpionmon!"

"Guilmon, Digivolve too...Growlmon!"

"Terriermon Digivolve too...Gargomon!"

"Renamon Digivolve Too...Kyubbimon!"

Soon the four Digimon had Digivolved into their Champion Level forms.

"Takuma..." Firebrand told Takuma and his friends "Try not to destroy FOB, and try to arrest Trixie for me."

Takuma smiled at this "We'll try not to destroy your home Commander Firebrand sir-" He pauses a bit before smirking "But we will certainly try to arrest the traitorous Trixie for you in your absence. Just please focus on the work."

"Will do" Firebrand said focusing.

The four Knightmon charged forward swinging their swords using Berserk Sword on the four Champion Digimon. They missed and Scorpionmon tackled the first Knightmon, it stumbles backwards a bit and raised it's sword again only for the sword to be caught by Scorpionmon's claws.

"Let's get fight on even ground so we're not destroying another home" Scorpionmon said whipping out his massive tail at the Knightmon's chest. The Knightmon went flying backwards. Growlmon also grabbed hold of his Knightmon's sword, picked the Knightmon up and spoke "No hurting FireBrandmon!"

"FireBrandmon?" Firebrand asked a bit puzzled "Why does that Digimon have to put mon at the end of everything?"

"It's his thing" Twilight answered.

Growlmon then threw the Knightmon out. Gargomon dodged his Knightmon's sword swipe then came at it with an uppercut. The Knightmon went flying into the sky backwards.

Kyubbimon dodged her sword swipe and tackled the Knightmon. It stumbled and Kyubbimon managed to grab hold of the Knightmon's legs and threw it with her tails. The Knightmon were out of the base safely but they returned a mean charge back and quickly all formed a dangerous "Berzerk Sword!"

The sword attack strikes all four good Digimon before they had a chance to figure out what to do next. The four take the attack stumbling slightly backwards.

"Let's try upping the anti then" Scorpionmon spoke "Claw Lasers!"

"I'm with you" Growlmon shouts "Pyro Blaster!"

"I'm ready to serve that bully with my Gargo Lasers!" Gargomon shouts.

"And I'll give mine a helping with my Fox Tail Inferno!" Kyubbimon shouts.

The four attacks came roaring at the Knightmon whom stood firm and took the attacks head on.

"They got them!" Kento shouted seeing the explosion.

Firebrand smirked as he, Twilight, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna continued to fill the machine with their magic "I love explosions! At least when the explosions aren't in my home of FOB."

"I don't think that was enough" Dr. Wolf replied to Henry.

"Yeah, I don't think it was ether" Henry said.

Sure enough Dr. Wolf and Henry were right. The Knightmon had simply charged through the attacks without injury and sliced their opponents again.

"Scorpionmon!" Takuma shouted as Scorpionmon was flung onto his back upon the impact of it's own charging Knightmon.

"Growlmon!" Takato shouted seeing the same thing happen to Growlmon.

Henry and Dr. Wolf almost had to run from a falling Gargomon whom was flung backwards towards them "Gargomon!"

Kyubbimon was also flung backwards landing hard on her back with Rika coming towards her Digimon "Kyubbimon!"

"I don't believe my eyes" Takato told Takuma "That hit them."

"Well..." Takuma told Takato "That's why those are Ultimate Levels...Champion Levels aren't exactly going to be enough. We need to go Ultimate."

"But how do we do that without Calumon?" Rika asked.

Henry brought out his blue card "Aren't you forgetting about these?"

"Maybe" Rika said "But our Ultimate are pretty strong themselves...And we don't want to destroy FOB. Takuma is there anything we can do besides Digivolving? Surely you must have a card that can help."

Takuma was already searching through his own deck of cards "One step a head of you...Thousand Clones might work but only for Scorpionmon...Magical Override may work as well but that's a very powerful card."

Rika nods blushing "I know...That's the one that beat Renamon and knocked me unconscious..."

"We can't stand here thinking" Takuma told her "We have to go Ulimate but check our aim."

"Right" Rika admitted.

The four Tamers bring out their blue cards swiping them "Digi-Modify, Matrix Digivoltuion Activate!"

Maxtrix Digivolution appeared on the D-Archs and the process began.

"Scorpionmon, Digivolve too...SamuraiScorpionmon!"

"Growlmon, Digivolve too...WarGrowlmon!"

"Gargomon, Digivolve too...Rapidmon!"

"Kyubbimon, Digivolve too...Taomon!"

Dr. Wolf looked up at the four Ulimate Level Digimon "I know Digimon are powerful but I'd never expect some to be this huge."

"Cool looking Samurai!" Firebrand said briefly looking at SamuraiScorpionmon while filling in the generator with his magic. Firebrand smirked as he eyed Knightmon "So, I wonder what's stronger, a Knight or a Samurai..."

"We're about to find out" Takuma admitted.

SamuraiScorpionmon charged the Knightmon he was facing "Let's see how you fight well against a fellow swordsmaster!"

The Knightmon swung it's sword and it met SamuraiScorpionmon's sword.

The ground shook as the two swords collided as the two swords locked themselves against each other. Seeing it's chance SamuraiScorpionmon aimed it's tail "How about this? Acid Spray!"

SamuraiScorpionmon's tail sprayed acid at the Knightmon's armor. It stumbles backwards and gravely injured as it's armor dissolves instantly leaving it vunerable to SamuraiScorpionmon's next attack.

WarGrowlmon brings up his arms as the Knightmon he was facing comes at him. The arms make him able to catch the Knightmon's sword "You've been a naughty knight! Atomic Blaster!"

WarGrowlmon's attack was shot out at point blank range sending the Knightmon backwards stumbling and heavily damaged.

Rapidmon easily dodged in and out of his Knightmon's sword range "Strike One! Strike Two! And Strike Three!" Rapidmon lashed out a kick at the Knightmon's helmet "You're out!"

The kick connected to the Knightmon's head causing it to stumble backwards and Rapidmon saw it's chance "Rapid Fire!"

Rapidmon fired his attack and it strikes the Knightmon sending it backwards a bit more also heavily damaged. Taomon easily repealed her Knightmon's sword with her arms and managed to even catch it in her arms. She disarmed the Knightmon with ease then shouted "Thousand Cards!"

Powerful cards were flung onto the Knightmon to stun him as she threw him over and out of the area. Trixie was jawdropping her Knightmon were failing.

"Let's finish this" Taomon declared pulling out her paintbrush "Talismen of Light!"

She paints out a talismen and sends it flying towards the Knightmon she threw. The attack hits and the Knightmon burst apart into data.

"Nice shot!" Rapidmon told her seeing this as he flew towards his Knightmon he was fighting "My turn, Tri Beam!"

His attack strikes his Knightmon and it bursts into data.

"My turn!" WarGrowlmon shouted and both he and Takato shouted out it's finishing move "RADIATION BLADE!"

WarGrowlmon charges the Knightmon it had been facing and slashes with his attack instantly bursting the Knightmon into data.

"And now to finish you" SamuraiScorpionmon told it's Knightmon whom was struggling to battle it "Not gonna happen after that injury I gave you...Double Venom Katana Strike!"

SamuraiScorpionmon's attack hits home and defeats the last Knightmon.

"NO WAY!" Trixie shouted seeing this.

"Oh yes way!" Takuma told her "SamuraiScorpionmon, catch her!"

"Will do!" SamuraiScorpionmon shouted.

Trixie panics seeing all four good Digimon coming to catch her "Not today!"

She casts a massive spell burst which blinds the group and she takes off running.

"Oh darn it!" Takuma muttered "She got away!"

Dr. Wolf felt some sympathy for Takuma "You'll get her yet."

"Thanks Dr." Takuma told him.

The fighting amazingly took a good while and after a while the two unicorns and two Alicorns had succeeded in filling the generator up with their magic. Takato, Takuma, Rika, Henry, Kento, Kazu, Jeri and their Digimon turn to see a huge circling light gateway.

Commander Firebrand turned to the Tamers "It's ready."

"Thank you Commander Firebrand sir" Takuma told Firebrand "You really worked hard to help us."

"You're welcome Takuma" Commander Firebrand said "So whenever you are ready to go it'll take you."

Takuma turned to Goldmon "Well I suppose this is it."

"It is" Goldmon admitted.

Takuma then spoke to Firebrand "Sorry about letting Trixie get away."

"Oh, don't worry about it" Firebrand told him "After her cowardly attack on FOB, you can rest assured that when we finish our repairs, we'll be hunting her down. Believe me, she's made a big mistake attacking a military base and I won't rest until I've caught her."

"Thanks" Takuma told him.

He turns to Twilight "Mother Twilight..."

The purple unicorn had tears in her eyes as she makes her way over to him and hugged him "Takuma..."

For a while the two hugged with Twilight then speaking up "Takuma...Take care of yourself and don't get yourself in over your head like Rainbow Dash would. You're friends need you to help save not only Fluttershy but Calumon too. Plus it would hurt me to know you died there."

Takuma takes a while to let this sink in but he agrees "I'll try to Mother Twilight. And you'll see me and Goldmon again."

"I promise it" Goldmon told the purple unicorn "On my oath, I will make sure Takuma comes back safe."

Twilight smiled "Thank you Goldmon."

She turns to her friends with Rainbow Dash flying to Takuma "You're going to be great in there. Show them that Digimon whomever is the Deva's boss that we aren't going to be intimidated by him."

"You betcha" Takuma told Rainbow Dash.

"Be faithful to ya friends you hear" Applejack told Takuma "They are here to help you after all I recon."

Takuma nods towards Applejack giving her a smile.

Pinkie bounces at him "Then after you come back we'll have a massive party!"

"I for once look forward to that" Takuma told her.

Rarity smiled "Do come back alive with your girlfriend. I have some fabulous dating outfits that I made for you two."

Takuma was lost for words, he tried not to show Rarity he was quite nervous at her comment. Trust Rarity to be making clothes for him and Fluttershy "Alright, I'm sure we'll look forward to seeing them."

Takuma then silently thought to himself Fluttershy would look forward to your outfit...I might not be.

Rarity nods as the ponies wish Takuma good luck on his journey. Takuma turns to his friends as they are about to walk side by side into the white light "Well everypony...This is it."

"It sure is" Rika admitted "Let's make this a success."

"Let's" Takuma said.

Takato took the lead "Let's go everyone. Follow my lead!"

The tamers and their Digimon walk towards the light and were on their way. Firebrand watches Takuma with a smile on his face. It was as if he knew that Takuma would come back and when he did, Takuma would have a lot of experience in this. Firebrand's thoughts were Takuma, you'll make Equestria proud of you. You'll make a great hero and one that I swear my oath to help you improve to be better and stronger.

Dr. Wolf was right at Firebrand's side "Well, I guess we wait to see if they return."

"They will" Firebrand told Dr. Wolf "They won't be so easily defeated and won't return without Fluttershy and their friend Calumon."

"Wow" Twilight told Firebrand "How do you know?"

Firebrand answered "Maybe I'm taking this way too seriously, but I seen the look of determination on his face. He's very determined to save the one he loves regardless of his own life. I have a good feeling he'll be back."

Twilight Sparkle smiled at Firebrand almost thanking him for his kind words about her adopted son "Is there anything we could do to help them?"

Firebrand nods "Always is, it's always a good idea to be able to support your son by any means, that means staying in communications with him. Not like by telephone but by our monitoring system."

Dr. Wolf agrees "We should probably stay here till they return."

"Agreed" Firebrand said.

Twilight and her remaining friends watch and wait.

I did add some things about Dragon Whispy as she needed a background in order for it to at least make sense on how she got there so I hope you Kingdom Infinity are okay with that.
