A World Apart

Disclaimer: I do not own My Little Pony Friendship is Magic or Digimon. I do own Takuma and his Digimon Goldmon along with it's Digivolutions, my own Pony Ocs Harvest Leaf, Christmas Gift, and Pumpkin Spice from another fanfic Equestria will make appearences as well.

Things looked grim for the four Tamers. It was very late at night and yet now another Deva had arrived into Ponyville. This one was the Pig Deva Vikaralamon. They had attempted to defeat the Deva by their Champion Level Digimon but it just stood there and continued to travel on it's rampage. Now they all had used their Matrix Digivolution to Digivolve their Digimon into Ultimate. This time Takuma knew they had to stop it before it reached Ponyville where it would certainly be destroyed. This wouldn't be Takuma, Takato, Rika, and Henry's only problem for back on Earth Hypnos under Yamaki's command began to upload it's Juggernaut program. A mechanical computer announced how close it was till it was charged "Juggernaut Power at Nintey-Five percent...One Hundred percent...Engage program!" With this said the top of Hypnos's building a green light began to glow green.

In Equestria WarGrowlmon had managed to block the way of Vikaralamon "Hold it hog breathe!" The Cyborg Digimon then lets out a growl.

"Ew!" Rapidmon commented "What's that smell?

"He's a pig what do you expect?" WarGrowlmon answered.

"Not all pigs smell like this though" SamuraiScorpionmon replied trying to make sure Fluttershy didn't hear that comment.

"This is defiantly not coshe" Taomon admitted.

Fluttershy, Henry, Rika, Takato and Takuma arrived on the scene stopping.

In Ponyville, Rainbow Dash and Christmas Gift were in it trying to evaculate the area. Rainbow shouted out in warning to them "The Giant Pig is approaching it's way to the center of Ponyville! We have to evacuate everypony here to someplace safe."

Luckily for Christmas Gift, and Rainbow Dash, Twilight had been monitoring the event herself threw her telescope in her tree house and was now helping the evaculation as the ponies panicked at the news "Everypony calm down and follow me."

Rainbow Dash hears high speed flying over head as the Wonder Bolts attempt to engage the Digimon. Normally Rainbow Dash would've let them but this monster was a Digimon and she didn't want to see her idols die to the Digimon. She flies to intercept them "Wait!"

The leader of the Wonderbolts Spitfire stops in midflight "What is it?"

Christmas Gift caught up to Rainbow Dash and answers her friend " That creature is a Digimon...We don't want you three to get hurt by it. Our human friends, the Tamers and their Digimon are trying to defeat it. Just please help us evacuate the destroyed town will be the least of our worries."

Spitfire agrees nodding to two of her fellow teammates "Alright then."

Back in the battle, Henry shouts "Rapidmon!"

"Rapid Fire!" Rapidmon replied firing out his two blasts.

The two blasts strike Vakaralamon on the sides even exploding...Apprently without even damaging the Deva or at least letting it know that it was hurt "Bad move! Boar Bog!"

The Deva spits out a pitch dark smelly fog covering Rapidmon "Peyew! Not only am I stuck! But I smell too!"

"You're mine! Insect!" Vakaralamon shouts.

Toamon brings out her paint brush towards the pitch black fog "Talisman of Light!"

The attack hits and frees Rapidmon even desolving the fog "Wow! You give Art appreciation a whole new meaning!"

"It'll take a lot more than my brush to defeat this Deva"

"Can you at least paint him a new face?" Rapidmon asked "Wew"

This made SamuraiScorpionmon chuckle at the insult Rapidmon had just laid onto the Deva as it replied as it stares at WarGrowlmon "I HEARD THAT!"

"I sure hope you did because you are really in need of one" SamuraScorpionmon countered.

"Hey! Looks like my teachings are starting to pay off!" Rapidmon told SamuraiScorpionmon.

"YOU SHALL ALL PAY DEARLY!" Vakaralamon shouts.

"Sorry," WarGrowlmon told it "But we don't carry cash!"

"Boar Bog!" Vakaralamon shouts spewing out the huge dark cloud again this time at WarGrowlmon and SamuraScorpionmon.

Takuma watches this closely looking for any sign of a weakness Vakaramon could have as Takato shouted "He's erupting! Get away from him"

"Uh-oh he's sprung a leek!" WarGrowlmon shouts.

SamuraiScorpionmon and WarGrowlmon quickly take turns slashing the black fog away with ether their claws or in SamuraiScorpionmon's case his twin swords. After growling WarGrowlmon charges it "Radiation Blade!"

Vakaralamon begins gathering an orange sphere in it's mouth "Fusion Ball!"

Sadly Vakaralamon's attack hits and sends WarGrowlmon flying backwards and even pinning him to the road "Aw nuts!"

Takato runs over towards WarGrowlmon trying to help him and even ordered him to get up. Sadly WarGrowlmon tries but couldn't. Before Rapidmon or Taomon could move the Deva unleashes another "Boar Bog!" on them this time trapping them.

"Enough!" SamuraiScorpionmon shouted he charges the Deva whom shouts "Fusion Ball!"

SamuraiScorpionmon swung his massive Tail "Acid Spray!"

The two attacks collide causing an explosion. SamuraiScorpionmon takes the time to take the confusion and come at the Deva swinging his twin katana's at the Deva. The deva takes the sword and seems to move backwards a bit. The Deva eyes SamuraiScorpionmon despite being injured by it and proceeds to speak out even though it had pinned down the other three Digimon "Time to open the gate!"

"Not on my watch!" SamuraiScorpionmon shouted.

Takuma agreed "Right."

Suddenly the sky opened blue a bit and screams of other unknown Digimon were sounding. Fluttershy couldn't help herself but cringe at their screams and tries to bury her head into Takuma's shoulder almost weeping at the sound and wishing she could help stop it.

"Aw, now what?" Henry asked

Takuma knew "My father is at it again."

Rika adds on distastefully for Yamaki "Looks like Yamaki opened the sky again!"

Takuma and Henry look at the sky frowning both thinking the same thing As if this day coudln't get any worse!

Back on Earth in Japan, at Hypnos Yamaki was waiting for the the status report. The assistants replied that Juggernaut program reached level four. Another added on if they weren't making a mistake. Yamaki even began to lecture Mr. Wong about how it was he and his group that made the Digimon in the first place. He even put a picture of the current battle going on. Mr. Wong spoke in shock "I never created that!"

Back in the battle, WarGrowlmon was stilled pinned while SamuraiScorpionmon was keeping Vakaralamon at bay for them to try to break free. Takato turned to WarGrowlmon "WarGrowlmon?"

WarGrowlmon struggles to break free again "I think I'm done...Could someone turn this off?"

Takato was lost on what to do "What can I do to help him?

Takuma only has time to think with SamuraiScorpionmon being the only one to combat the Deva "Let me think on that as well..."

"What can we do?" Rika asked looking at her cards "We don't even have some decent cards left."

Takuma "Don't give in for one thing."

Henry then spoke an answer "Maybe it doesn't matter what card we use Rika."

Takuma actually had to smile at his words as Rika asked "What do you mean? Okay did that pig monster eat your brain?"

"No, I'm serious" Henry replied "The only time the cards have been useful is when we believed in them."

"Correct" Takuma admitted "If we believe in each ourselves, our cards and our Digimon we can overcome this Deva."

"That's the Takuma I know!" SamuraiScorpionmon said.

Rika might've normally argue with Henry but if Takuma thought this would work, then she was willing to try it "Well alright. It's worth a try"

Rika and Henry reached for their Digi Modify Cards "Digi-Modify, Radiant Faith activate!"

On Earth, Hypnos detected the energy and Yamaki smirks "Yes, the time has come to fix your mistake."

Mr. Wong, Henry's dad sees his son, Rika and even Takuma "Henry! That's my boy and Takuma is your own son!"

Back in Equestria, in the black bog, two very bright star lights were shown as Rapidmon and Toamon broke free with Rapidmon speaking out "Looks like we're all free!"

"Good work" SamuraiScorpionmon said as he tries to slash out at the Deva whom backs away.

Toamon was right beside him " Yes, Talisman Star!"

She threw a Talisman that acted like a Shuriken. It tore through the black fog. It startled the Deva a bit Toamon turns to Rapidmon "You're turn Rapidmon!"

"Okay, I have a snack for you big boy!" Rapidmon shouts at the Deva "Rapid Fire!"

He unleashes both a volley of missiles and blasts from his hands. The blasts hit the Deva in it's mouth and some explosions come out his nose. After taking the damage the Deva falls to the ground weakened "We got him now guys! Shall I send him to Hog heaven?"

"If you don't. I will" SamuraiScorpionmon declared.

Suddenly Rapidmon started to vanish in and out "Who, what's going on? My strength is being zapped! Alright who unzipped the sky?"
Toamon whips out a "Talismen Spell!"

With this she made a huge light shield "Rapidmon, get on here! This shall protect us."

SamuraiScorpionmon rushes towards it as well.

Rika, Henry, and Takuma eye the sky as Rika admitted "Something bad's happening up there."

Fluttershy "Oh-no."

"Our problem's just beginning" Henry added.

Takuma frowned thinking I knew my father had a strong hatred to Digimon...But why this much hate towards our Digimon as well...

At Hypnos, one of Yamaki's assistants spoke "Juggernaut has reached level 5. Holding steady at full power"

"Excellent" Yamaki in laughter "Full power I love to hear that."

He turns to Mr. Wong "The world is about to change forever."

"I've seen enough!" Mr. Wong shouted walking away.

In Equestria, Henry was shaking Takato "Hello, Equestria to Takato...Would you wake up?"

"Oh Guilmon" Takato muttered.

"We can still help him!" Takuma told Takato.

Takato looked a bit down "I'm so afraid of losing him..."

"What's this about?" Rika asked him although Takuma had a feeling already what Takato was talking about.

Takato answered them "It's just that, when Guilmon Digivolves...A part of him disappears. Sometimes I don't even reckonize him...I can't believe how serious things have become-"

"You aren't the only one on the how serious things have become thing" Takuma kindly interrupted "Especially these things are attacking a world that really shouldn't be targeted."

Takato continues his explanation "Don't get me wrong guys, I'm glad he's powerful-" Looks at the ground "But I'm afraid of losing our friendship."

"I don't think that'll ever happen" Takuma told Takato "Right SamuraiScorpionmon?"

SamuraiScorpionmon swiftly countered the pig deva speaking out trying to drive it backwards "Sorry Takuma! I'm having a bit of a hard time with this big fat piggy but you are right."

"Takuma's right" Rika admitted to Takato "You aren't losing him goggle head."

"Hugh?" Takato asked her surprised she was speaking nicely to him.

Rika continues her explanation which even surprised Takuma at her explanation as it would've been something HE'D tell Takato or Twilight Sparkle would've told Takato "Everyone has to grow up sometime, it's natural...Taomon could be the most powerful Digimon ever, but she's still my best friend."

"Really?" Takato asked her.

Takuma smiled "Excellent answer Rika."

Rika blushes at this as she now knew being in Equestria was slowly changing her.

Henry then adds on "Besides, he's still the bread scoffing doofus on the inside."

"Well..." Takato admitted with Takuma sweat dropping in agreement with Henry "That's true.

Suddenly the green sky now started to form columns which fall from the sky and onto the Digimon.

"Uh-oh, looks like our Yin's getting yanked!" Rapidmon shouted.

"My protection spell is being deleted!" Taomon shouts.

"And we're next!" Rapidmon adds on.

"Not good at all" SamuraiScorpionmon spoke.
Takuma tries to focus on what to do with this.

Meanwhile Fluttershy was still carrying Calumon whom was starting to break down on her arms "I don't know anything! Leave me alone! No, I won't go back!"

Fluttershy "Calumon?"

Jerry turns to Fluttershy "What's going on Calumon?"

Kazu spoke "Hearing voices is a bad sign!"

"What's going on?" Kento asked.

"I don't want to go back! Please don't let me go."

"I won't" Fluttershy promised Calumon holding him close to her.

Back in the battle with the Deva Rapidmon called out to Henry and Takuma "Henry! Takuma! A little help over here!"

"We do need at least your brains Takuma" SamuraiScorpionmon admitted.

Both Henry and Takuma were watching the green sky thinking How can we help them when even the Deva is about to be deleted?

"Tamers!" Princess Luna called down.

"Princess Luna!" Takato, Takuma, Rika and Henry called to her in surprise.

All four Tamers eye the Princess of the Night with Takuma speaking to her "We need help for once."

Princess Luna nods ready to help.

Back at Hypnos, the Juggernaunt system was about to go full phase Yamaki even was commenting on soon all Digimon would be gone. Suddenly the area above their heads all become numbers which made him angry "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?"

"We aren't sure sir!" a worker spoke "It's a reverse code to reverse the Juggernaut system deep into the net."

Yamaki hangs his his "It's that ancient machine language again! Reverse assemble"

The female assistant with red hair spoke "It's decoding."

In Equestria with Fluttershy, Fluttershy held Calumon close to her. Both she and Jerri looked concerned for Calumon. Fluttershy was determined NOT to give Calumon up. Both girls see a human kid staring at them. This creeped Jeri out as it did to Fluttershy but she held onto Calumon. She felt that this kid was after Calumon and now gave him her Stare "Don't you come near me."

"What do you want?" Kento demanded.

The kid seems to look down as his voice was even heard in Hypnos "As simple and pathetic as you humans are...You humans created us and the world we live in! You polluted your original home world of Earth and now are attacking ours. We had to evolve and adapt to survive."

"You still haven't stated what you are after!" Jeri told him.

Rainbow Dash zooms down "Yeah, but your Deva's are attacking Equestria which shouldn't be attacked by you guys!"

The kid answered "The only way to protect our world, is to destroy anyone who threatens it so we have to be stronger...But you argonaut Children have something we need. You have the key and don't even know it! AT this point we don't even care if humans wipe themselves out even if they take you ponies out with them. We have plans but you are in the way! And that's a problem"

In Hypnos Yamaki ordered to shut the talking person down.

In Impmon's hiding place however he was apporached by a deep voice "What's wrong? Feeling sorry for yourself?

Impmon turns to the voice "Oh what now? Just leave me alone?

"You crave power for you."

"Yeah, so what? I crave Cheeseburgers too!"

"You have the ability to Digivolve...We all do...I can help you."

"He's gotta be lying!"

Back with the kid whom was laughing Fluttershy still holds Calumon close to her as he advances humming. Fluttershy holds onto him harder "Stay back!"

The kid advances more "Then give me what I want!"

"Please don't let him take me back!" Calumon shouts.

"I gave you my word" Fluttershy told him "And I won't!"

Rainbow Dash was about to fly and tackle this kid. If there was a thing she wouldn't like taking it was a bully trying to take someone.

"Hey!" Kazu shouted "You can't have him! How about Kento instead?"

"Hey!" Kento shouted back.

A green light hit the kid and he seemed to transform into some sort of monkey whom spoke "I am Makuramon!"

Rainbow Dash stops trying to charge as she knew it was a Digimon that might be enough to kill her if given the chance "Sweet Celestia.

"Maybe he wants a banana" Kazu spoke "Anyone got one?"

Makuramon then screams loudly causing the two boys, Jeri, and Rainbow Dash to cover her ears but Fluttershy held firm and Makuramon takes off.

Meanwhile at the battle scene, Juggernaunt Program was still working almost fully deleting the protection spell and both Taomon and Rapidmon. SamuraiScorpionmon was showing some signs of it as well.

"We need a new plan here!" Taomon shouts.

"A new plan? We need a miracle!" Rapidmon admitted.

"Agreed" SamuraiScorpionmon agreed.

Henry spoke "Taomon, Rapidmon, and SamuraiScorpionmon are in trouble! If we don't think of something they'll be deleted!"

Takuma focuses on this as Luna fired her magical beams at the beam hoping to block it but was failing "I'm sorry friends! But I fear this Juggernaut System is at full power! I don't think I can stop it alone! Or If there is anything anypony can do now!"

"What about up there?" Rika asked pointing to Makuramon whom jumped and threw a ball at the green sky which landed and connected. This caused a major chain reaction in Hypnos and ultimately destroyed Juggernaut. Once the Juggernaut system was destroyed, it returned every Digimon back to normal. The Pig Deva Vikaralamon spoke next "I'm back you human filth!"

Luna was able to talk some sense into the Tamers to get to some place safer after resuring Rika that Toamon would be okay. Taomon spoke "I'm not sure what just happened, but I'm ready to finish this off, and so is the pig!"

It is then the other Tamers see Kento, Kazu, Jeri, and Fluttershy. Kazu explained how the kid was actually the Deva Makuramon and Kento explained that the Deva spoke very weird things.

Princess Luna comes over to the kids that had Digimon "Come with me! We've gotta hide!"

"No" Takato spoke "I'm done hiding! Rika, Takuma, and Henry are right, no matter how powerful our Digimon become, they are still our friends! And right now our friends need us more than ever."

The other three Tamers agreed. Takato rushes over to WarGRowlmon and begins shouting.

"What's he doing?" Rika asked.

Takuma blinked "Perhaps giving WarGrowlmon, some more strength to get up."

It was true, WarGrowlmon manages to slice the orange orb off him after a lot of shouting from Takato "I hear you Takatomon! Together we can take care of this porker!"

WarGrowlmon begins shoving the Deva backwards. It was joined by SamuraiScorpionmon whom helped push the Deva backwards. The Deva then spoke "Stop now you two! While you both have a choice!"

"No way!" WarGrowlmon shouted "Let's do this together SamuraiScorpionmon!"

SamuraiScorpionmon nods "Right!"

WarGrowlmon manages to lift the Deva up and the Deva emits more red orbs which Rapidmon shoots out of the sky "I love target practice! I'll hit these out of the sky!"

"Taomon!" Rika shouts "You are up!"

"Talisman of Light!" Taomon shouts.

Her attack strikes another red orb. Then this all led to both SamuraiScorpionmon and WarGrowlmon coming down with WarGrowlmon attacking with "Atomic Blaster!" "Double Venom Katana Slice!"

The Deva was defeated but

"Well," Takato spoke "That was a scream!
"Takato!" Jeri shouted.

Fluttershy was running but Makuramon scoops both of them up with Fluttershy screaming a bit.

"Fluttershy!" Takuma shouted.

"Calumon!" Jeri shouted.

Makuramon tried to pry Calumon from Fluttershy but she wouldn't budge as stand in front of the Tamers.

"Fluttershy wouldn't give me what I wanted so I had to take both of them" The Deva replied.

"Give them back!" Takato and Takuma shouted as they charged forward only to trip and fall to the ground with the Deva jumping.

"Calumon!" Takato shouted.

"Fluttershy!" Takuma shouts as well as neither boy could go after the Deva, but just as the Deva was about to exit, Leomon appears jumping to save both of them "You ouderless cowardly ape! You are the one that doesn't belong!"

The Deva wasn't expecting this from Leomon but before Leomon could get him the lion was greeted by needles and the shadow of a huge phoenix type Deva.

"Get back!" Henry ordered as Leomon took the attack and falls to the ground. At this point Jeri gets her Digivice and uses it to help Leomon out. The Tamers watch as the Deva holding Calumon and Fluttershy disappear. Takuma was in deep shock at what just happened. It took a while for him to realize that Fluttershy had been captured by a Digimon. He was pounding at the ground at seeing the love of his life taken like that. He now knew why his father hated Digimon, for the soul reason of one taking him away from his father. Takuma never felt so angry before in his life as he fought to not cry about this. Rika notices this as she approaches Takuma "Takuma...It's alright to cry in this situation. I won't fault you for that."

Takuma looks at Rika "I was supposed to protect her."

Rika understood him "It wasn't your fault, you couldn't have predicted that could've happened."

"True" Takuma told her gripping his hands forming a fist "BUT THIS DEVA AND HIS SOVERIGN HAVE MADE A BIG MISTAKE TAKING FLUTTERSHY!"

Rika nods as she had never seen an angry Takuma before. Honestly she wouldn't have thought there would be anything that would make Takuma mad, but this Deva that just captured Fluttershy finally had done it and this actually scared her a bit. She had always thought Takuma would be peace loving and wouldn't have had any sight of anger or hatred.

Princess Luna frowns as she and the Tamers look around Ponyville "This town has nearly been destroyed."

Takato saw how hard Takuma was taking the loss as he understood "Takuma...I can promise you this, we will save Calumon and Fluttershy."

Takuma almost ignored Takato's comment but he heard the comment and nods angrily "You bet we will Takato. From this moment on, I will not rest until Fluttershy is saved!"

The Tamers now had to find away to the Digital World with Takuma still frowning and staring up at the sky. Oh, he was now going to make sure to rescue his girlfriend and Calumon, and he wasn't going to stop until he saved the girl he loved no matter what happened.

He thinks to himself Fluttershy...I'm coming to save you. Keep your spirit up and hang in there.

This took longer than I thought it did. But it's on now. Anyway next chapter is going to be called The Journey Begins: The Tamers must find a way into the Digital World. I know it's very late but I haven't given up on this. Just been very busy. And soon both Takuma and Goldmon will become their Bio Merged forms.
