She looked around the room just as stunned as the others
“I…. I have no idea.”
It was a sunny day in Ponyville. The kind of day that made Twilight wish she wasn’t stuck in the library. But her latest adventure had left her behind on her studies.
“Hey twilight, it’s such a nice day, why don’t we go outside? The fresh air will do you some good.”
“Good idea spike. I know just the spot.” Twilight and Spike loaded her books, some parchment, and three quills, into her bag and headed off through town. Half-way through town Rainbow Dash spotted her friends.
“Hey guys. What you up too?”
“Oh, hi Rainbow! We were just on our way to the park. The library is really stuffy, and it’s such a nice day out, we figured it would be nice to study outside. By the way how is the weather over the park?” Twilight asked.
“Well there are some clouds there, but I don’t think we’ll see anything from them. It’s the big clouds over there that I’m worried about.” Rainbow pointed behind Twilight. She turned around to see some very mean looking clouds off in the distance. “I’m sure it’s nothing but just in case I wouldn’t want to be outside when they get here.”
“thanks Dash we’ll keep that in mind.” Twilight smiled and her and spike continued on to the park. By the time they got there, the clouds had gotten quite close, but not enough for twilight to be worried.
“Twilight those clouds are awfully close. Maybe we should start heading for home?” Spike said with noticeable worry in his voice.
“Oh spike, don’t be silly! If anything happens I’ll just teleport us home.” Noticing the worry in his face she said “But, if you’re that worried, you can go home without me. I’ll be back there soon. Trust me.” Spike knew he could always trust her. From the day they first met, Twilight had always kept his best interests in mind and wanted nothing more than for him to be happy. He looked at her, nodded and headed back for the library.
Twilight yawned and looked up from her book.
“Oh no! I must’ve fell asleep!” she looked up to the sky as the wind blew her mane to the side. “I should get back before the storm gets any worse.” She loaded up her books and started for home just as the wind picked up. This wind is really strong. I hope spike made it home alright. How long was I sleeping? The wind was getting stronger. She tried to run but the sudden downpour of rain made it hard for her to see. She stopped to find shelter. I’m not going to make it home without getting lost. Suddenly she spotted a cave. Perfect! She ducked into the cave. She looked around. She noticed a light on the far side of the tunnel. That’s weird…. After a while of staring and considering her options, she slowly started walking towards the strange light. Just as she reached the light a lightning strike startled her, and with a yelp, she fell into the light. She started spinning uncontrollably and passed out.
