“The Wishing Star.”

This is a story about a boy who wakes up in Ponyville after seeing a Rainbow shooting star and wishing for a better life.  He was abused for being outside late and he found himself surrounded by nice pony friends, until Discord, the god of Chaos finds out about the Mane 6's new human friend.

It was almost noon as the boy awoke. He opened his crusty blue eyes and looked around. Chris Statcher was 13 years old. He wore a Short sleeve red shirt with Jeans that had purposely torn holes at the knees. He brushed down his long black air as he looked at the endless ocean of green grass that surrounded him. He had not the slightest Idea of how he got there. He tried to stand up, but his ankle collapsed beneath him. He looked down and cursed for he remembered that he had broken his ankle. He looked into the air for any sign of a helicopter, a plane, anything that could take him home. "HELP!" He said as he cringed hearing his own voice. He was on the ridge of De-Hydration. His mouth had been gaping open letting the sun evaporate most of the moisture in his throat. He continued to look toward the sky for any sign of civilization.

Derpy was flying by when she saw a white speck in the green grass. "what is that?" she flew down to investigate.

Chris was looking into the clear blue sky as his eyes slowly started to close. He was going to die. He looked into the sky as he saw it. A light grey Pegasus was flying toward him. He disregarded it as a hallucination until it touched his arm. He looked over and suddenly gained hope as he asked. "Who are you?" He sighed once again as he heard his croaking voice struggle it's way through his cracking throat. He looked at the Pegasus hopefully as his vision started to fade.

she gasped at how pale you looked. "That doesn't matter now, honey. we need to get you some medical attention fast!" she throws you onto her back, taking off, flying faster than she ever had.

Chris woke up in a hospital room. He looked around at the room and sighed.  Something wasn't the same with this hospital. He looked over to his left and then he saw her again. He remembered what happened and smiled. "Thank you." He said in a normal and nice voice. "My name is Chris, and you are?" He knew that the Pegasus could talk and that was the only reason he talked to it.

She smiled warmly, looking into his newly revitalized eyes. "My name is Derpy hooves! Mail carrier and the derpiest Pegasus in all of Ponyville! Nice to meet ya’ Chris! " She said extending her hoof in gratitude.

Rainbow Dash Chris took her hoof with joy. He shook it carefully for he didn't know if he were ready to be released yet. And he was right; he had to stay in the bed for another day for the enchanted "Quick Heal" Bandages to complete their job. He spent most of his time talking with Derpy about things. But soon he had to rest. He quietly fell asleep with his hand resting on Derpy's hoof.

Derpy smiled, watching him fall asleep. "Ohhhh.... you're so cute, Chris..." she said as she gently stroked his long black hair and she too soon fell asleep.

Chris awoke later on in the morning to find out that he was free to go. He quietly awoke Derpy from her nap and they walked out of the building. He walked alongside Derpy careful not to loose her for he didn't want to get lost. He smiled as he was toured around the town. He was looking into the sky until he bumped into a Brown Maned pony. "Oops." He said helping the pony pick up his things. He looked into his eyes to see that they strongly resembled an old friend of his eyes.

the pony looked that the boy and tilted his head as he picked up his things....he seemed familiar "Chris....?"

Derpy watched the whole time. she asked "do you know him, Chris?"

Rainbow Dash Chris looked strange at the pony. He recognized the voice immediately. "MICHAEL!" He shook his hoof and looked up. "How did you become a pony, and how did you get here..." He bombarded him with questions like crazy. He then looked back at Derpy. "Know him? He was my best friend until he went missing." He looked back at the pony and kept talking to him about how things were in the human world.

He laughed and hugged his best friend tightly "oh my gosh it's so good to meet you again!" he smiled as he watched him give him a lot of questions. "well....it's kinda a long story"

A purple unicorn suddenly bounded out of the library and came up to Derpy, whispered something in her ear, and gave her a note. she smiled. "Oh, Chris, this note is for you!"

Chris looked over to Derpy again. "Oh, Thanks Derpy." He took the note and carefully unrolled it. He read it silently in his head:

"Dear Christian Statcher.

Welcome to the town of Ponyville. We have received your wish and almost disregarded it until Luna detected Pain and sadness in your heart. You no longer exist in the Human universe. You are now a resident of Ponyville. You will be loved by everypony here and will hopefully enjoy your stay. We only request that you meet us in Canterlot Mane Castle by 3:00

Love: Princess Luna, and Celestia

Chris looked at Derpy. He remembered her telling him something about Canterlot. He asked her politely. "Uh, Derpy, do you think you could take me to Canterlot Mane Castle. The Princesses want to speak to me."

She smiles excitedly. "oh my gosh! The princesses want to see you!!!! AHHHHH!!! That’s amazing!" she hugged Chris in a tight squeeze.

Chris gasped as e was suddenly squeezed. He smiled and patted her blonde mane. "Is that a yes?" He asked smiling.

Mike's eyes widened and he smiled big "whoa, that's huge honor getting a letter from the princess herself."

She looked confused. "i didn't hear ya, but yes, I will! You wanna come too, Michael?" she asked.

He smiled and nodded "I'd be more then happy to"

Chris got onto Derpy's back and they were off. They soon arrived at the sparkling Halls of the beautiful castle in Canterlot. "Wow, quite incredible." Chris said to himself before he heard a voice from behind him. "Yes, it is something isn't it Christian."

Derpy instantly notices the voice. "Your highness..." she bowed suddenly, motioning for Chris and Michael to bow as well.

Chris gasped. He bowed low to the Dark Blue Mare. He never met anyone in fame, or Royalty. He stayed bowed with the others until a gentle hoof touched his shoulder. "Rise, all of you. I must ask you two ponies to stay out here. I must talk to Chris in Private with my sister. Chris obeyed and said goodbye to his new friends.

Derpy Hooves ‎"anything you say, your highness..." Derpy remained outside as Chris walked inside.

Chris walked beside Luna. He entered a room to see the White coated mare with waving Blue, purple, and green hair. He bowed to her for he knew that She must have been Princess Celestia.

Celestia smiled as he bowed. "Rise, Christian. You were right sister, he is of a pure heart."

Chris rose as he was told. He smiled as The compliment rang a cheerful air into the room.  He looked at the two mares and asked in a polite tone. "I was wondering, how exactly did I get here?"

‎"Well" said Celestia suddenly getting a serious expression on her face.   "When you wished upon that rainbow-wish-star, we received it, and we detected pain and suffering in your heart. We then proceeded to have an agent of ours take you from there to here. Does that answer your question?" she smiled.

He suddenly remembered his abusive father. He remembered how he was pushed off the roof shortly after star gazing for being up too late. He landed on his ankle and then was transported to ponyville while unconscious. He nodded slowly. He bid a formal farewell and walked outside with his friends.

‎"wait" called Celestia. "get back here! i have one more thing to say!"

Chris turned around.  He looked up at the Princess. "Yes your Highness?"

‎She flew down to Chris’ eye level. "Take this" She said as she lightly tapped Chris with her horn on your shoulder.  Suddenly, a mark that strongly resembled the sun and moon combined Formed on his forearm.  "When the time comes, you'll know how to use it...."

Chris looked at the new marking. He nodded and left. His friends followed behind. "I remember everything now." He said as he walked back. He was about to tell them but then a sudden mob of Frightened ponies ran into them. "WHAT THE!!" Chris said as he was separated from his friends. "DERPY, MICHAEL, MEET ME... AT THAT CORN MAZE!" He managed to say before the mob continued to push him away. He eventually got out and headed for the maze. As he waited for his friends, he looked at the statues. He noticed instantly that one was missing from its pedestal. He bent down and read the Label. "Discord God of Chaos." He said to himself before he heard laughter from above. "WHO'S THERE?" He said as he swung around. But no one answered. Suddenly, Chris felt something hit him in the back of the head and he collapsed to the ground. He soon was soon being dragged away slowly.  "My name is Discord."

Chapter 2, the search.

Rainbow Dash was resting on a cloud as she heard the Screaming. She opened one eye to look down at a mob of ponies. She jumped off the could and flew down to the nearest pony in sight. "Derpy, What's going on?" She asked as she landed next to Derpy.

Derpy frowned, looking at dash. "D-dash... I’m missing a friend... his name is Chris... He’s a human."

Rainbow Dash frowned. "You mean that one Luna sent me to get?" She asked as she looked at the maze. She noticed too that one of the Statues was missing. She didn't need to go over to find out who’s it was, but she noticed a piece of paper on the old Pedestal.

"Dear Mane 6.

I have taken your new resident until you surrender to me. I have also borrowed without asking the precious Elements of Harmony for a little bit to look after them for you. Chris is here with me, and he is safe. Well, at least for today. Better hurry up"

DiScOrD ChAoS

Rainbow dash dropped the paper. "Discord..." She said as she looked at Derpy. "There's not much time. We better start looking for him before something goes wrong...

Derpy frowned. "Yeah, but where could they be? Discord could be anywhere for what we know!!"

Rainbow Frowned as she turned to Michael. "Do you have any Idea Mikey?"

‎"I don't know Dashie." Mike said as he looked at the note. "I think Derpy is right. He's Discord, he could be anywhere. We might want to rally up the others and see who will help us." And at that, the 3 ponies ran off toward the town.

Derpy Hooves frowned as she flew toward town. She thought in her head., "will I ever see Chris again?"

Rainbow Dash frowned, for she didn't even know if they were. Discord played his games in a twisted way so that the rules barely made sense. "I hope so Derpy. I hope so." She said in a gloomy voice as they headed for the town.

Meanwhile, Chris awoke. He opened his eyes to nothing but sheer blackness. he went to itch his head, but he found himself bound tightly to a chair. He looked around in panic. "Welcome, Christian Statcher." Said a voice from the darkness of the Tunnels. "Who... Who's there?" Said Chris weakly for he had been unconscious for a while. He heard the Laughter again. "You didn't hear me didn't you? Ahh, whatever. I am Discord. God of Chaos and Dis-Harmony." Discord said grinning as he stepped into the small ray of light. Chris shivered at his Dis-figured Appearance. "What do you want Discord?" He asked in a rude tone. Discord smiled showing his crooked yellow teeth as he said slowly. "Your friends Chris. You are the bait. And you will watch them fall for my trap." He said as he snapped his fingers. A small screen came from nowhere in front of him showing his friends. "No, You can't do that to me. Let me Go!" Chris demanded struggling against the ropes. At this, Discord snapped his fingers again and the ropes seemed to tighten. He instantly stopped for the thick ropes prevented him from moving. "WE are going to play my game my way, and no Rough housing. Just enjoy the show." Discord said as he disappeared out of the cave. Chris felt a magical surge force his eyes to look at the screen. He had no option. But to watch.

Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Twilight, and Derpy were walking along the trail.

Derpy gasped as she noticed something. “Guys!”  she said, "was that there before?"  She asked directing a hoof toward a dark cave ahead.

Rarity then gasped deeply. "No, I can say it wasn't...."

Pinkie Pie hopped up the road as she said in her usual high and screamy voice. "So, Discord is back? I better ask him for some more Chocolate-" "Now Y'all aint askin' Discord for no favors. He's Discord after all." Applejack interupted, but then Twilight shushed them as they looked at what Derpy found. They listened quietly as they heard Chris talking to the screen, warning them about something, but all they heard was murmurs. "CHRIS!" Rainbow Dash said as she stormed in. All of a sudden, a blue barrier appeared at the opening of the cave. "RAINBOW DASH!!" Chris said from inside.  He was still bound tightly to the chair and could not move.  It was torture; his new best friends were right outside while he was trapped inside.

Chris suddenly remembered the marking on his shoulder. He closed his eyes and exhaled calmly. Suddenly. His eyes opened glowing a bright white as he did. He instantly vaporized the Ropes that held him down and levitated up into the air. Discord turned and sunk into the corner of his cave. H had only seen magic like this once. and last time he did, He was not in a good condition. "I've grown quite tired of your game Discord." Chris said spreading his arms out his eyed and the mark on his shoulder glowing. He levitated slowly to the blocked exit and floated easily through the barrier. A soon as he escaped. The barrier turned a dark orange and trapped Discord inside. Chris lowered himself to the ground panting. Twilight came over and helped him up. "Wow!" She said. "I never thought Humans could perform that kind of ma-" "We need to go!" Chris interupted for he was low on energy. "That barrier will only delay him. He will be back in about a month. But that gives us plenty of time to get ponies together." Chris hopped onto Derpy's back. "Let's go. I need to inform Princess Celestia that I am the Proper wielder of this mark. Hurry!"
