"Pinkie!" Twilight called from outside Pinkie's bedroom door. All of Pinkie's friends had gathered outside her bedroom door. "Pinkie! It's been five days, please come out!" Twilight yelled again. "Pinkie, it's not your fault, it was an accident! Please come out, we miss you!" Apple Jack chimed in. "I'm never coming out! I'm a bad pony!" Pinkie cried from inside her room. "We don't think any less of you!" Rarity called in, "I don't deserve friends like you! I'm a horrible pony!" Pinkie sobbed.
Pinkie had been lying in her bed the entire five days only getting up to go to the bathroom. Her hair had deflated and she was lying in blankets soaked in sweat and tears crying the entire time. "Well Pinkie, we'll be downstairs if you want to talk." Twilight said and she and the rest of the ponies trotted off. About five minutes later Pinkie sat up and said to herself "I need to move away before I hurt somepony else." and with her head drooping low she got up, grabbed a bag full of bits and wrote a goodbye note.
A few hours later Mr. Cake knocked on Pinkie's door and said "Pinkie you haven't eaten anything in five days, please come out and get something to eat." No answer. He called Pinkie again and when he got silence a second time he got his key ring out and unlocked Pinkie's door. He gasped in horror as soon as he saw a letter on her unmade bed and her windows opened.
He slowly picked up the letter and read "Dear ponies of Ponieville, Please forgive me for all of the bad things I’ve done. I’m running away to someplace far away so I won't hurt anyponie ever again. - Pinkie Pie." As soon as he finished Mr. Cake felt his eyes tearing up.
By the time Mr. Cake shared the news with everyponie else Pinkie was Galloping down the road away from ponieville crying all the way. She turned her head and watched as her home disappeared on the horizon. After two hours of galloping Pinkie finally came to a city, one that she had never heard of before. The only clue to where she was a big neon sign that said Welcome to Clopton.
