Chapter 4 – meet the gang part 2

Author’s note : The main character thinks in italics like thisand there will be a LOT of cursing. Bright Flight thinks in these{}and in italics. The next new character you’ll meet thinks in these || and bolded

Applejack stared at me in shock for a few seconds before saying “umm, Twilight?” “as I was saying,” continued Twilight “apparently Shadow Spell has multiple personalities, when he feels a certain emotion, one of them takes over, such as Bright Flight here” my poor face, will I EVER stop smiling? “umm, alright, are there any others?” applejack asked cautiously “Bright Flight mentioned two others, but she didn’t tell me their names” “oh, they’re called Black hoof and Spell Slaughter” I said brightly Twilight shivered for a moment before saying “Spell Slaughter and Black Hoof, huh. Pretty intimidating names” “yeah” applejack added “I think I wouldn’t want to meet them in a dark alley” “why don’t we meet…” I shouldn’t give any indication that I already know about the show, that might freak them out and make things harder “…one of yor other friends” I continued “why don’t we” twilight said “why don’t we meet rainbow next, I have a feeling I know where she is”.

As we walked toward a specific shop, there were several ponies that I was running up to and saying “hi, I’m Bright Flight, let’s be friends” Twilight seemed to be pretending not to know me. When we reached the shop, there was a kind of commotion going on, I saw Rainbow Dash hovering out of the store, being followed by two burly pegasi in white uniforms, they were brown and grey, with cutie marks of a basketball hoop and dumbbells “hey Rainbow crash, what’s going on” they seemed to be annoying her quite a bit *uhgh* Rainbow Dash groaned “will you two stop following me around?” she seemed exasperated “why should we Rainbow Crash” she didn’t seem to like being called that, I turned back into Shadow Spell with a *POP*finally, facial pain gone I walked up to them and said in a ridiculously squeaky voice “hey, why don’t you leave her alone” they looked down at me and began laughing “so, you need a foal to fight your battles for you” the brown one laughed “hey kid, go away before you make me look even worse” she whispered in my ear the brown Pegasus put a hoof on my head and said “that’s rich, now just run along” and he used his other hoof to hit me. it didn’t hurt much, but it REALLY pissed me off |let me handle this| knock yourself out I heard a cracking sound in the back of my head |nah, I’ll just knock THEM out| then I felt the change.

“uh oh” Twilight added as she saw what was going on, I grew until i was even taller than Celestia, my eyes became pure white, and my horn disappeared, but that was about all the change. This me walked over to the two pegasi who were rolling on the ground laughing. My shadow fell across them, and without looking the brow one said “so, your back on stilts eh?” he was still laughing, until I snorted. He looked up and was speechless for a moment before yelling “who the buck are you?” I didn’t answer before i punched him across the town “I’m Black Hoof” I stated, with no emotion whatsoever, I pulled my hoof back, and *BANG* another moron launched across town. Rainbow Dash was looking at me with her mouth wide open, her mouth managed to get even wider I swear, I could fit a semi in there as I changed back to Shadow Spell.

“umm, Twilight, what just happened” Rainbow Dash asked staring at Twilight “well, you just met Black Hoof, Shadow Spell here has multiple personalities that take over with certain emotions, his physical appearance changes as well, he has two other personalities, Bright Flight and Spell Slaughter. Bright Flight is a white Pegasus filly, with blue eyes and yellow and blue mane and tail.” “I guess you’re pretty cool” as she spoke she extended a hoof to shake, I took it and shook, I felt the feeling coming over me again oh buck *POP* “HI, I’m Bright Flight, nice to meet you, I hope we can be friends” rainbow mouth fell open again as she stared at Bright Flight.

Twilight cleared her throught to get rainbow’s attention before continuing “This is Bright Flight” I cut her off again, saying “HI” “and, why does she sound like Pinkie?” rainbow asked, before Twilight could even speak I cut in “OO, Pinkie Pie, the party pony, I wanna meet her please, please, please, please, please…” this continued on for a while before Twilight was able to get a word in while I took a breath “okay, okay, you can meet her” “YAY” I exclaimed, jumping around I fear for Ponyville.

As we walked, or in my case bounced, to Sugarcube corner I kept greeting everyone the same thing, “hi, I’m Bright Flight, let’s be friends” Twilight knocked on the door to a Giant house that seemed to be MADE of candy “coming!” a voice that sounded a LOT like mine said, obviously from upstairs. I heard somepony clopping down the stairs (NOT IN THAT WAY, I know some of you are thinking it) and a pink pony answered the door. I said the usual “hi, I’m Bright Flight, let’s be friends” before she gasped, hanging in the air longer than ponyly possible before shooting like a rocket toward the rest of the town.

and, now were gonna have a party thrown for us {YAY PARTY!} |meh| I looked at Twilight for a moment before saying “did she not want to be my friend?” the gigantic puppy dog eyes were overflowing with cuteness and changed back to Shadow Spell *POP* “well, she was unusual” I stated  “you get used to it” Rainbow responded  Twilight sighed before continuing “well, that’s probably the last you’ll se of her for a while, why don’t we go meet Fluttershy” I didn’t argue as we walked toward the Everfree forest, after a while we reached a cottage, surrounded by animals. Twilight knocked on the door and there was an extremely soft voice on the other side, I wasn’t able to catch what it said before a yellow Pegasus pony with pink hair answered the door and said “h-hello twilight, nopony is hurt I hope” “no, no, nothing like that, we just wanted you to meet a new pony in town, Shadow Spell” I added a “hi” for good measure she gasped loudly I remember that gasp from somewhere {oo, oo I know, episode one, when she first meets spike!} yes, …oh shit she flew straight at me so fast I couldn’t react as she picked me up and cuddled me.

{THIS COUNTS!} oh crap *POP* she was suddenly holding a Pegasus about as big as her “hi, I’m Bright Flight, I hope we can be friends”  she squeaked and the next thing I knew I was on the ground and she was hiding behind a bunny, however, most of her was sticking out, including her head every once in a while as she snuck peeks out to look at me d’awwww I got off the ground and looked at her “was it something I said?” “don’t worry, she’s always like this” Twilight assured me “it’s okay Fluttershy, this is Bright Flight, another personality of Shadow Spell’s” she began to edge out from behind the annoyed-looking bunny.

“HI, I love bunnies, do you have any more bunnies” and without waiting for an answer I ran off looking for bunnies. Fluttershy seemed slightly more relaxed when I left and edged out from behind the bunny who looked annoyed and was holding a carrot. The bunny bopped Fluttershy on the head with the carrot “angel,” she addressed it in a calm tone “your supposed to eat your food, not use it to hurt anypony.” The rabbit still seemed annoyed as it hopped away.
