Chapter 6: Dream Part 2

After leaving the library Pinkie decided to go for a short stroll around town, hoping to get her mind off of the serious situation she was in. Not only was she pregnant, but the foal was some kind of weird, two timeline pony, but she also had to deal with her now surfacing feelings for Big Mac. The more memories that came back, the more she remembered why she had fallen for the farmer colt in the first place, and she was also remembering all the fun they had together. Visiting the Princess's private bakery, seeing the amazing monuments in Las Pegasus, watching the sun set from the northern mountains, and their wedding. That one memory of her wedding was stuck in her head, and it wasn't leaving anytime soon since it had become all Pinkie could think about.

Her and Big Mac were actually sharing dreams because of the connection they have with each other. In the other timeline her and Big Mac had been married for who knows how many years, planned to have who knows how many kids, and had who knows what kind of relationship with their families. Pinkie knew that her father did walk her down the isle at her wedding, but that was it, for all she knew that could have been the only time she had seen her parents since she left for vacation, and what of the Apple family? What did they think of Big Mac marrying a Pie? Were they happy about it, did they approve of her, or did they-

*Thud*

"Oof" Pinkie grunted as her flank hit the ground. Silently she prayed that she hadn't just run into Big Mac again, and thankfully when she opened her eyes she saw that she had just run into Cloud Chaser.

"Sorry about that Pinkie, I wasn't looking where I was going" Cloud said as she offered Pinkie a hoof so she could get up, "Didn't know you were pregnant either"

"Huh?" Pinkie asked, caught off guard by Cloud Chaser somehow knowing she was pregnant. Cloud Chaser took this as a sign that Pinkie wasn't actually pregnant, and that her statement actually ended up being an insult. Her face quickly turning red Cloud Chaser wanted to apologize, but all that came out was a jumble of mumbled words. Pinkie got up and looking at Cloud Chaser in confusion, not sure what was going on at all.

"Sorry about that Pinkie, didn't mean to, uh..." Cloud Chaser stammered, not wanting to look like a bully to the one pony that everypony loved, "...call you fat" Pinkie cocked her head to the side slightly before smiling, which threw Cloud Chaser for a loop. Was Pinkie upset, or happy, was she angry, or uncomfortable?

"It's okay, I've noticed it too, and I've eaten a bit too many brownies in the last two days," Pinkie said honestly as she looked down at her stomach, which was slightly larger than normal, "I guess I'm finally gaining a little bit of weight now" Cloud Chaser slowly nodded at Pinkie before she started to trot away, not wanting to be nearby in case another stupid thought came out and actually ended up hurting Pinkie's feelings. Once Cloud Chaser was gone Pinkie started to walk around again, but not before running into another pony.

"Hey Pinkie!" Apple Fritter said as she ran up to Pinkie's side, "Is everything okay, I saw Cloud Chaser run into you, and with you being pregnant..." Pinkie's dead pan stare let Fritter know that she had just said something she shouldn't have, so with a quick shake of her head Fritter thought of something else to talk about. Although, no other topic seemed to come to mind, all she could think about was Pinkie's abnormal stomach bump. An awkward silence hung around the two of them until one of Fritter's friends came by, taking a very thankful Apple with them.

Now Pinkie knew something was up, and by looking around it became very clear what was going on. Every mare in sight was looking at her, and more specifically, her stomach. It seems the rumor mill was in full force today, so almost all of Ponyville had the idea that Pinkie had gotten pregnant somehow lodged into their heads, and so now many of them were watching her closely, as if that would tell them every little detail about how it came to be. Pinkie could overhear some mares talking about who the father could have been, others talked about who got her pregnant, and some talked about whether or not Pinkie really was pregnant. All of their comments were harsh and mean.

"Less cupcakes, more corncobs" one mare said, her friends laughing as Pinkie went past.

"Looks like her legs opened after dark" another mare said disapprovingly, treating Pinkie like she was worse than a piece of dirt.

"I bet she liked his party cannon" a final mare said just outside Sugar Cube Corner, that comment being the one that finally broke Pinkie. Slamming opening the door Pinkie bolted upstairs and shoved her face into her pillow, opting to put herself to sleep early so she could escape from everything that was happening outside. Within a few minutes she managed to slip off to a peaceful sleep...

"...I now pronounce you, stallion and mare!" the Mayor said at the end of her speech, signalling for Pinkie and Big Mac to kiss. The two of them looked deep into each other's eyes before leaning forwards, their lips touching and sealing their fate as a married couple. Everypony in the hall erupted into a loud cheer, soon followed by everypony that was outside. Eventually the entire town was cheering for Pinkie and Big Mac's wedding, which brought tears to Pinkie's eyes.

"Is everything okay sweetie pie?" Big Mac asked as he wrapped his hoof together with hers. She turned and smiled at him, tears of happiness and joy quickly running down her face. Big Mac smiled back at her before he bent forwards and kissed her on the cheek, catching one of her tears with his lips.

"Okay, okay, y'all are married, you don't need to be so cutesy about it," Applejack said sarcastically as she winked at Pinkie with a large smile across her face. Beside her Applebloom was barely able to contain her joy. Not only had she gotten another big sister, but she happened to be the cheeriest mare in all of Ponyville. Not even Miss Cheerilee was able to make ponies as happy as Pinkie could. Having her as a big sister, along with Applejack, was bound to make Applebloom's life the best thing to ever happen to anypony.

"When am I going to become an auntie?!" Applebloom asked happily, eager to be older than somepony that she would see everyday. Big Mac and Pinkie shared a glance before laughing quietly to themselves, turning back to Applebloom with sincere smiles.

"Not for a while, sorry sweet cheeks" Pinkie said as she reached down to pinch Applebloom's cheeks, but the small filly managed to get out of the way in time. Before Pinkie had a chance to chase her down her family came over to give their congratulation to the new bride and groom.

"We're so happy for the two of you" Clyde said as he reached out to shake Big Mac's hoof while Pinkie hugged her mother and sisters.

"Thank you for letting me marry your daughter sir" Big Mac said honestly as he happily shook Clyde's hoof. Clyde let out a hearty laugh before giving Big Mac a toothy grin. It was clear that both families were happy that Pinkie and Big Mac got married. Once the two groups of immediate families had been properly introduced to each other the entire group headed over to the farm so they could celebrate this momentous occasion. As soon as they were on the farm the celebration went into full swing with the eruption of the party cannon Pinkie had rented from Fluttershy.

After many of the ponies that were at the party had either gone home or fallen asleep Big Mac and Pinkie slipped away into the orchard, looking for a tree. Their tree. When they finally found it they saw their initials still carved into it as though it had been yesterday, and they laid down beneath it. They sat in silence for a few minutes until Pinkie nuzzled the top of her head against Big Mac's chin.

"Are you happy you married me?" Pinkie asked,  a small hint of worry in her voice.

"Eeyup, I am very happy" Big Mac said as he looked down at Pinkie, "Are you happy you married me?"

"Happier than I could ever hope to explain" Pinkie said as she leaned against Big Mac's chest, his hard muscles and soft fur contrasting perfectly enough to make her want to fall asleep, but it was their wedding night, and they had something else they needed to do. Sitting up in Big Mac's lap Pinkie spun herself around and gave Big Mac a passionate kiss, which he happily returned. Breaking apart they felt a burning desire start to well up inside of them, and within no time at all Pinkie was standing up with Big Mac behind her. As he pushed forwards...

"AH!" Pinkie gasped as she woke up, her heart going a thousand miles a minute. Looking around she breathed a sad sigh, realizing that she was sitting in her bed at the bakery, instead of laying in the orchard. The images of her dream quickly came back to her, causing her face to heat up. Glancing down at her hooves she saw that they were sweaty and shaking, as if Big Mac actually had...

"Pinkie are you okay, we heard a shout" Mr. Cake asked from outside Pinkie's door, preparing to open it in case Pinkie didn't respond.

"I'm f-fine!" Pinkie stuttered, feeling as though she was a young mare and her parents had almost caught her doing something she shouldn't be doing. Mr. Cake seemed to take that as an acceptable answer and headed downstairs to start the work day. Meanwhile Pinkie was trying to get her heart to slow down after her extremely vivid dream. Once she was more or less calmed down Pinkie headed over to the bathroom, less than eager to let anypony know about the dream she just had.
