Author’s notes: None hehe

As I looked over at Comet, I felt only contempt for him. He had to have all the glory, the honour of being one of the elements of harmony. I trained for years and he gained an element for no reason! Well he really messed up today didn’t he? As I looked around I saw many royal guards along with my cousin Cadance with my Aunt Celestia and my mother Luna. Rain was pouring down from the skies and I would think back to earlier on Comet’s biggest failure. How he failed him and cost Equestria a great pony.

I seriously did not know what to do. The girls were corrupted save me and Twi and they were all acting so strange. Rarity was attached to a large rock, calling it a large diamond, Fluttershy was acting really mean to everypony, Applejack seemed to be lying, Pinkie Pie was acting all glum and Rainbow betrayed us. It’s like they have been…discorded or something. We had to find some way of putting them back to normal. Then my mind trailed back to what Discord said earlier before he left.

Discord was laughing and changing everything. As I looked at him and growled a bit

“Where the hell are the elements?!”

Discord: “Oh poor pathetic ponies, you are so foolish, your elements were already close at hoof, closer than you imagine Twilight Sparkle”

At that he would disappear, leaving us alone with our thoughts

I would think long and hard, racking my brain for any clue at all that could help us discern what Discord was talking about. Then it hit me, of course! The elements had to be at the golden oaks library, Twilight’s home!

“Twi, we need to get to your house right now!”

Twilight: “Huh? But why Comet?”

‘Let’s just go, trust me!”

At that we would run to the library, followed by the girls, bickering behind us. As we reach the house I would use my restored horn to try and detect the elements, looking at the bookcase I would pull out a book. Opening it the elements were in it. The book was hollowed out to hold the elements.

“I found them! Girls I-”

As I turned around, I would see the girls fighting with each other, their coats getting greyer.

“STOP IT! STOP RIGHT NOW!”

Some of them glared at me but I shake my head as I look at Twi

“Twilight, try using a memory spell to remind them of our friendship”

She would nod and do so, the girls coats getting their colour back with Rarity muttering never speaking of this ever again. It seemed all ok, but Rainbow wasn’t around. Catching her and using the memory spell on her was going to be tough. We would come up with a plan where Fluttershy and I would use a net to catch her since we were the only ones who could fly. Twi and the others would use the balloon to fly up to her and use the spell…..I just hope that we can save Rainbow, over the course of knowing her I had developed a crush on her but I could never tell her. After some searching, we found her on a cloud. Fluttershy and I would sneak up on her, chucking the net over her. Dash would try to fly off but Fluttershy and I managed to pull against her, keeping her in place. Soon Twilight and the others reached us and used the memory spell on Rainbow. We were finally ready to defeat Discord.

I have a very bad feeling something is going to happen, while I was laying with Luna in our bed I would sigh a bit, sitting up and stretching. Since Luna came back, she turned me into an alicorn to make our pairing legitimate. Looking at her sleeping form made me smile a little as I would lean down and kiss her head softly stroking her mane. She would stir a bit but remain asleep, smiling a little. I would get up and put on my armour, walking outside to meet with my apprentice Shining Armour. I had planned to make him my successor of being the Captain of the royal guard. He was a little headstrong and a bit of a knucklehead but he had showed many times he is worthy of becoming a captain.

Shining: “Morning Sir, how is Princess Luna?”

“She is well my friend. But now is the time for me to go to Ponyville, I need to see my son Comet Rider.”

Shining would nod and trot off, preparing a chariot. About an hour later I arrived at Ponyville, soon meeting up with Comet and the Mane Six as they called themselves.

Comet: “Huh? What are you doing here dad?”

“I’m here to check on things. You found the elements I see. Well…go save Equestria son”

Comet: “Got it dad!”

“And Comet?”

Comet: “Hmmm? What is it dad?”

“I just want you to know, I am so proud of you. You are a good colt and a hero”

He would smile at me and walk off, leaving me to my thoughts. I’m glad he grew up to be a good Stallion and I couldn’t be any prouder.

Alright, it’s finally time. I’ve been looking forward to kicking Discord’s ass. Smiling as I felt the element of honour rattling as I walked, I would look at the smug looking grin of Discord as he looked at us

Discord: “So you found them, big deal. Your bond of friendship is gone you pathetic foals. Try your best shot go ahead”

He would materialise a target on his chest. At that I shoot a black ray out of my element that hits the throne he was sitting on. At that his grin would disappear and he grabs me with his lion paw.

Discord: “You know, I have not ever met anyone I have hated as much as you Rider! I will teach you a lesson!”

He would throw me at a tree and then fire a sort of laser at me. Closing my eyes I heard the laser impact but….it didn’t hit me. Opening my eyes I would gasp as I see my father on the ground, blood pouring from the wound in his chest.

“DAD!!”

I would run to him and kneel by him, shaking my head. I could not let him die, I just couldn’t!

Spirit: “C-comet….i-I’m sorry. I j-just couldn’t let you die.”

Tears poured down my cheeks as he puts his hoof on my shoulder, coughing and breathing weakly.

Spirit: “I-I’m proud of you son, t-take care of your mother and y-your sister a-and brother. Tell t-them that…I l-love you all”

I would nod slowly, tears still coming down from my eyes. He would give me one last smile before the light leaves his eyes, his eyes closing slowly before his arm goes limp. I would shake with anger before looking at Discord

“You monster….i will make you pay….. you, YOU BUCKING BASTARD!!! ….GIRLS NOW!”

We all float up into the air and blast Discord with the rainbow beam, sealing him away in stone. We would land and look around, ponies cheering us but they soon silenced when I walked to my father’s corpse, putting it on my back, heading to Canterlot as it began to rain.

Of course, when Comet arrived with dad’s body we were devastated; mom and Star broke down into tears as Aunt Celestia looked on sadly. Many in Canterlot and Ponyville came to mourn the fallen hero. As I watched, many would say respectable words. But now it’s time….time for my revenge. Its time….for my rise!
