              Chapter 7

       The Great Equestrian

              Civil War!!!  

As the ponies march into battle, Shooting Star takes a moment to himself to go over battle strategies.

They take a moment, to break for lunch. a watch pony looks out of the enemy.

"Nothing to report sir''

''Keep up the good work soldier.''

Though the night, some stay awake to look out for the enemy. But just before the break of dawn the grffins and minotuars appear.

''Shooting Star sir, the enemy is near.

So shooting Star, talks to the leaders to come to a compromise

''Look, we don't have to do this. All you have to do is just turn around and walk away. I'm sure all can be forgiven.''

''There is nothing more to disscus, we the Minotuars and Griffins. Have decided we'll take your kingdom by force''

''So any last word Pony.''

So Shooting Star says

''Fine, sense I'm a stallion of honor. I will give you one last warning. Return to your kingdom .....or DIE!!!''

''We refuse''

''Your funeral, oh and one more thing when the sun breaks you'll be sorry''

As they return to there soldiers, Shooting Star has a look of concern, and then anger.

''Stallions and mares, the enemy has refuse my offer. So by the break of dawn we attack.

The ponies cheer, and get ready for battle.

So the Ponies, meet the Griffins and Minotaurs on the battle field

''Ponies arm yourselfs''

all Unicorn, Pegasus, and Earth Ponies armor up and prepare for battle.

''Minotaurs armor up''

The Minotaurs and Griffins prepare themselves as well.

So both armies stare each other down.

And so the dawn breaks, and both side attack

''Ponies,......ATTACK''.

''Minotaurs, take them out.''

''Griffins,....kill them.''

Both sides do a full on charge towards each other. Both sides clash, a load crashing sound is made, some of the ponies and Minotaurs are knocked back a little. But keep moving forward, the Unicorns and earth ponies fighting Minotaurs,

Pegasus fighting Griffins.

Then the battle turns bloody, a unicorn is caught off guard. A Minotaur slashes his side using an axe, the axe rips though the armor. Cutting his side open blood leaks out. The unicorn jumps stabs him in the throat with his horn, the Minotaur grabs his throat and gasps for air then falls to the ground. The unicorn smashes his wind pipe to finish him off. Back and forth,

the battle went on for hours. The minotaurs and griffins called a retreat, the ponies cheered. But, they knew the enemy would be back for a second round. 15 Minotaurs killed, 10 griffins killed, and 30 ponies killed. They bury there dead. Manly tears are shed, but they will always honor they fallen friends.

The enemy is very tricky, trying to out smart the ponies attacking at night. both sides have heavy deaths.

Day 20

no sight of the enemy, have they retreated. No Minotaurs and Griffins they don't don't give up so easily.

Day 50

The enemy has caught us off guard, but we were able to fight back. But in the end, we were victorious Thanks to our Captain. He gave his life to save us same as Quake, but i Steel Wing live to tell you. The leaders of the Minotaur and Griffin countries, are dead.

So the ponies head back to Canterlot winners in this fight, but what will happen now.
