An old man comes bearing promises of grand adventure and travel to Equestria. All he asks in return is for somebody to play the hero. Only, being impaled on a sword wasn't part of the plan.
Can Christian—video store employee nonpareil—become the hero he's agreed to be? It will take all of his willpower, skill, and the year's time he's been given to prepare for his quest. Maybe he can even have a good time with some new friends...
