Rain Storm
Chapter 9: The Memories that haunt me
Previous ChapterStorm had been flying for a while now in no particular direction. He needed a place to think, a place where he could remember all that he did. After what felt like an eternity, storm flew past a mountain. He looked up through the rain clouds above him, and saw a light above him. Intrigued, started to fly up. Once he had flown past the cloud layer, it was quiet.
The mountain was tall, and was covered in snow. It looked like a white beacon surrounded by a wall of grey. He flew onto, and sat down.
It was cold, but it helped him focus. Storm closed his eyes.
“Why do these memories haunt me so much... I know I did bad things but that was ages ago. I guess my mind won't let go of what I did all that time back. But I should stop dwindling. I need to remember, no matter the cost” he thought, and let himself go. One by one, the memories and flashbacks came, and they hit his mind like a tone of bricks, yet he did not falter. He sat ridged, and let the cold air control his mind.
“I will remember, everything I did. No matter the cost. No matter the sins. I. Will. Remember...” and he stayed there.

Dash woke in the morning wide awake. She flew out of bed and looked all over her house, and storm was nowhere to be seen.
“aw man, this is bad. Real bad.” she thought “Twilight! She could help!” and with that flew off in a dash to Twilights library.
At this time, Twilight had just got up, and made herself some coffee. She took a sip, and headed to the the window, and opened it. Twilight closed her eyes and shivered as the fresh morning air roll in. It was almost magical, until the mood got shattered by a loud crash downstairs.
“What could happen this early!?” she thought aloud shaking her head
“Dash!? What are you doing here at this time?” she said in disbelief
“Storm hasn't come back yet and I'm getting worried... Twilight! Quick, do something magical and nerdy which I don't understand but will get me to him now!” Dash said in one breath.
“ok,ok calm down dash. I'll teleport you to him, but calm down! You're worse than me when I've lost a check-list!” she shook her head
“Its true!” shouted Spike from upstairs and chuckled. Twilight just rolled her eyes.
“Get ready dash...” she said and focused her magic, and in a white flash, Rainbow was gone.
“Well” she said “that was quick”

Dash re-appeared in front of a large mountain. She quickly looked around to see if she could see Storm, and to get a look at her surroundings. Dash figured that she was deep in the Everfree Forest.
“Where the Hay is Storm...” she said to no pony in particular, and looked up. Through the clouds, she saw a opening that showed the height of the mountain in front of her, and its majesty.
“Wait...” she said “there he is!” and Sped upwards.
As she approached the top of the mountain, it got colder and colder, and Dash started to shiver. When she got to the precipice of the mountain, she saw a lightly snow covered grey pegasus sitting up with his eyes closed.
“STORM!!!” she shouted out. He opened his eyes slowly and smiled at Dash
“hello” he said. Dash flew over to Storm and settled down next to him
“What do you think your doing!? Sitting up here in the freezing cold all night, with no way of keeping warm. You scared the hay out of me!” she shouted at him angrily, but he appeared to take no notice.
“I was thinking...” he replied slowly
“THINKING!?” she burst out “WHY YOU-” she said, but Dash was cut short.
“get away from me, Dash” he said firmly. Storm opened his eyes and turned to look at Dash.
“wait, what?” she said back
“I said get away from me”
“but...but... why?”
“When I stayed up here all night, I didn't thing about nothing, you know. I remembered. I remembered everything, and I'm not a good pony, Dash. I've done horrible terrible things in my life, and I don't deserve your friendship... I don't deserve any ponies friendship...” he said. Storm stood up, fully unfurled his wings, and jumped into the air.
“Wait. what, why, you, waa?” said Dash. He smiled.
“There's only one place I can go now, to fully remember, and to face somepony I
haven't seen in years”
“Were?” she asked. He chuckled.
“nowhere” and let himself fall of the top of the mountain, then turn in mid air into a bullet shaped and fired through the cloud barrier, leaving a trail of angrily zapping storm clouds after him.
“I gotta go to Twilight again. She'll know what to do” said Dash and went as fast as she could down back to Ponyville.

Twilight had just settled down again, when Dash crashed through the door again.
“For Celestia's sake, can't a pony get some time to herself around here any more!?” she thought aloud. “Dash? What are you doing here again?”
Rainbow collapsed on the floor, and regained her breath. Afterwards, she told Twilight the story.
“Nowhere...Nowhere... what could he mean by Nowhere...Nowhere! That's it!” said Twilight.
“What is it?” said Dash
“When I was studying the maps earlier, there was a part of Equestria labelled Nowhere. I thought It was an area if Equestria unexplored, but with further data, it used to be a place, in fact, there used to be a city there. All of the up to date maps where labelled wrong. Me and storm were going to go there later, but he must have gone there now to finish his memories! We've got to stop him. There's something evil there and he's going to get himself hurt” she said
“Should we get the others?” asked Dash
“There's no time! Get close to me, now!” she said, and both ponies disappeared with a white flash.

Rain Storm landed on the top of hill. The stood there with the wind blowing in his face. Storm waited for the fog to clear, and then he saw it.
“Peakcity...long time no see, I guess”
