Lightingace Third person:

The Jeep sped up beside Aussie as he staggered along. He had been severely beaten and had obviously been through a painful torture.

“Shit, gunny!” said one of the privates as he lept out and supported Aussie’s body weight then began to carry him over to Jeep.

In the distance of the Everfree treeline sat The Apache with her signature Dragunov. “<Hello little ponies>” she said in native zebra tongue. She lined up the crosshairs with the driver of the Jeep and squeezed the trigger back.

The Dragunov let out a horrifying BANG as the 7.62x54mmR round zoomed through the air. The bullet smashed through the window of the Jeep and killed the driver with a headshot. The Apache smirked to herself as the other pony tried to crouch down beside the Jeep for cover but he was still in plain view.

She lined the crosshairs on the second pony and fired again. Blood spurted from an exit wound and the other pony fell to the ground.

The Apache had tortured Aussie severely and when she had finished with him she ordered him to walk back to the firebase and he did so willingly. It had been a perfect trap, she knew that the ponies on the firebase would send others to get the wounded soldier.

Aussie lay on the ground then tried to get back up. Suddenly an eruption blew away some trees by the Apache. She realized the ponies back at base had probably zeroed in on her with the mortars. She would’ve liked to finish off the Australian hunter but that would have to wait for another day.

She quickly packed up her gear and left the area as mortar shells bombarded the area around her.

Back at the base Clare was giving orders then looked to Hart. “Come with me, we gotta get Aussie” he said and Hart nodded then they both hopped in a Jeep. Clare raced the Jeep out to the open field and up beside the other Jeep.

Hart grabbed Aussie as Clare grabbed the dead ponies and placed their bodies in the back of the Jeep. Clare and Hart lept back into the Jeep and sped back to the firebase as the mortar crews continued to bombard the treeline.

SGM. Clare:

I raced the Jeep into the compound and parked it. Several ponies ran over then rushed Aussie to the medical tent. I sat in the Jeep and leaned my head back as I pulled out a cigar. I hadn’t smoked in a while but I had the sudden urge to lite one up.

The tainted smell of cigar fumes entered my nose as I closed my eyes and tried to think about something else, something a little more peaceful. The hot muggy air made me feel uncomfortable. Shining Armor walked over and sat in the passenger seat beside me.

“We’re gonna need new recruits. You feel like going with the medical chopper to Canterlot?” Shining asked. I knew exactly why he asked me and I nodded then looked to him. “Isn’t your wife due to have a baby any day now?” I asked and he nodded. He turned over to me and gave me a wink. “What?” I asked and he chuckled

“I got us some leave papers. Daffodil’s the temporary base commander and I made sure there won’t be any combat missions for the base until we get back” he informed me. “How long?” I asked and he shrugged. “A few days. Long enough” he said and I out an exhale.

“Thanks Shining” I said and he chuckled. “Don’t thank me until after we exit the ring” he chuckled and I scrunched my nose. “The ring?” I asked and he nodded then rubbed his nose. I recalled breaking his nose during the whole bank heist thing where I wasn’t supposed to enter.

Shining nudged me. “Come on. The helicopter will be leaving soon” he said. I got up and stretched then walked with him to a Huey that was about to depart and we embarked it. As the helicopter departed to Canterlot the pilot put on the radio inside the helicopter

A few hours later,

The helicopter landed on the helipad outside Canterlot castle. Shining and I disembarked the helicopter as the rotors still spun. “So Captain, when are we going to get the replacements?” I asked and he shrugged. “Near the end of our vacation. I wouldn’t worry about it now though” he assured me.

We walked into the castle then walked to the throne room. Luna and Celestia looked over to us, Cadence was even with them. Cadence and Luna squealed as they rushed over to us. We both hadn’t been gone a ‘long’ time but in war even a few days seemed like forever.

Luna lept on me and I twirled our bodies in a circle. Cadence and Shining couldn’t quite do that due to her pregnancy but they still embraced each other in a loving hug. Luna and I didn’t really think about anything consequential and began to make out in the throne room.

“SERGEANT MAJOR!” Celestia boomed and we both pulled back from our kiss. We both looked over to her as she stormed over to us. “Just what the hell do you think you’re doing with my sister? She’s your princess and your commander” Celestia questioned me and we both sighed in realization that this was probably going to get ugly.

“Well uhm…” I began but trailed off as I thought about something to say. Celestia’s face was turning red with anger. “I’m pregnant” Luna blurted out, everyone else in the room seemed to gasp. Even Shining, who already knew, gasped in shock from the comment.

I swear I could see steam vapours escaping from Celestia’s ears. She looked like a raging bull as she snorted in anger. “Sergeant… that better be some sort of a very, very, very bad joke” Celestia snarled. I looked over to Luna then shrugged. I really didn’t have much to say.

“Uhm, well no Celestia. Your sister is gonna be a mom and you’re gonna have a new nephew or niece” I told her. “Sister, it happened on our vacation. During one of the beautiful nights we made love and I cast a spell on my womb to allow myself to be pregnant with a foal” Luna informed her infuriated sister.

Luna was about to step beside me but suddenly Celestia’s horn flared up and a blast of white energy slammed into my body. It felt like the energy blast broke every single bone in my body as I flew across the throne room and smashed through the doors.

Third person:

“SISTER!” Luna screamed in horror as she watched her lover get shot across the room. Clare smashed through the throne room doors which shattered apart and Clare’s body continued to smash through the wall of the hallways and into the library.

Celestia shot her sister a cold glare. “I will deal with you after” Celestia scowled as she stepped forward but Shining Armor stepped in her way. “Celestia, this is madness!” Shining Armor yelled. Celestia looked at him. “Madness? THIS-IS-EQUESTRIA” Celestia yelled as she spun around and bucked Shining in the chest. His body flung back and skidded across the ground.

Celestia’s eyes flashed a brilliant white and her body muscles bulked up. A powerful white aurora flashed around her body in a jagged pattern as she walked towards the hole in the wall where Clare’s body had been slammed through.

Her eyes went catlike as she stepped through the hole in the wall and searched for Clare’s body which she just couldn’t find. She stepped into the mess of the library. Book shelves had been knocked over from the blast.

She spotted movement beside her and a magical energy surge shot from her horn and blasted the movement which just happened to be some books that hadn’t been placed level and had started to slip. The books had been blown to vapours and now all that remained were smouldering ashes

Celestia’s anger subsided a little as she calmed herself in her search for Clare. Suddenly a figured flipped through the air and landed behind her. Celestia swiveled and turned to Clare who stood in a defensive posture. His combat jacket had a large burn hole in the center and his chest had suffered some bad cuts. He breathed slowly as Celestia quarrelled around him like a rabid animal.

“I’m-going-to-kill-you” Celestia hissed in a voice that was not hers. “Celestia? You don’t sound like yourself” Clare mentioned and Celestia stood to her hindlegs. She now loomed over Clare by at least two feet, standing at a hulking 8’2”. Clare’s jaw dropped as he realized just how outmatched he was.

“You think you can just impregnate my sister? Think that it’s okay to just break her heart. I’LL KILL YOU!” Celestia boomed, her aurora flashed outwards. Books and paper flew about from the powerful winds that originated from her powerful aurora. Celestia’s muscles bulked up again and she began to look ridiculous. She was now more muscular than any pony in Equestria and was on par with Schwarzenegger when he was Mr. Olympia.

“Celestia, for fuck sakes calm down. I’m sorry but we’re in love” Clare yelled, trying to calm her down. “You think this is love. You fool” Celestia yelled as her muscles tensed and she grew even more muscular. Now she looked like something along the lines of Ronnie Coleman. This was just getting absurd. “I am Celestia no longer. Behold the might of SOLAR ECLIPSE!”

Author's Notes:

OHHHHHH, okay straight up need to say where I got the idea for Solar Eclipse. So one of the readers, Lightingace, says think about the B&Bs from Metal Gear Solid. I thought about it but didn't really want to go into the whole in depth of making five awesome zebra babes that would fight Clare, The Apache was hard enough to make her whole character. So when I got to the part where Celestia boots Shining Armor across the room I stopped and said 'Hey wait a minute. In real life, err MLP universe' Celestia would be pissed but I doubt she'd kick Shining just cause he said to stop. So I thought back to what Lightingace said about the B&Bs and thought. 'If Luna=Nightmare moon when she's angry then that must mean Celestia=Solar Eclipse. Makes sense'. So I just wanted to say thanks to Lightingace for part of the idea. You my fine sir have helped create a real mean bitch, SOLAR ECLIPSE arrrg. She needs to turn green ahhahahaha
