Shining Armor went to the Canterlot academy in the early 1980's. Cadence had met with Shining Armor one Hearth's Warming day in the Winter. The years passed after the two ponies had met with each other. Both of the ponies lived in Canterlot. Cadence had been raised in a village by the Whitetail Woods before she moved to Canterlot. But then one day in 1988 Shining Armor saw fillies in the academy. The fillies weared old chlothes from over 200 years ago. But the fillies they had suddenly been gone.

"I seen these fillies too, but I don't know what they are doing at the academy." Shining Armor told Princess Cadence.

"And what is strange that they suddenly are gone." the alicorn told the unicorn.

Ponies that worked in the afternoon by cleaning the school got chased out by hearing fillies scream. But they could not see who had been screaming. The students noticed the fillies too that suddenly got away. Some students had flashbacks of an orphanage. None would go in the basement, as sick ghostly fillies were there. So Shining Armor and his friends gathered one early autumn morning to find out what they had seen of these unusual things. The ponies searched through the old books the school had. Some of the rare books dated back to the early 1900's.

"What we now know is that this school once had been an orphanage where a plague broke out." Shining Armor told his friends.

"So that must be the reason why we had seen these kids, and have flashbacks of the orphanage." the unicorn told his friends.

The book had pictures of the old orphanage. That orphanage had stood empty for years, until it got build as an academy. The ponies got startled by seeing old photos of the same fillies they saw.

"These fillies had been called The Cutie Marked Ones." Cadence said to the other ponies.

"The last time these fillies had been seen alive was under that plague." the alicorn told her friends.

Shining Armor and Cadence then made a spell together to make the ghostly fillies disappear. That had been the first spell Shining Armor had made with Princess Cadence. Later on a Hearth Warming's day had Princess Cadence and Shining Armor decided to marry each other. That would be one of the biggest events in Canterlot.
